Caesars Palace Bacchanal Buffet Las Vegas - Eat What You Like!

it's all you can vegas hey everybody it's derek and i'm here at the baccanal buffet at caesar's palace i'm here for the weekday dinner it's 55 so let's see what there is to eat now the dinner buffet at bagano is all about the seafood so let's start here these are pacific oysters on the half shelf there's an advisory though that these fresh oysters may contain other biological matter when they are at their freshest they have no known health risk to consumers okay so everything is fine this is dungeness crab and there's a note here as well that says steam's crab is located at the italian station and there's another note here just to remind you go to the italian station for steamed crab these are chilled tiger prawns these are all the cold seafood as you can see because everything's on ice these are north atlantic sea snails and these are jonah crab claws tomatillo oyster shooters that looks kind of gross there's some butter to be dispensed out melted liquid butter this is chiopino look at that mixed seafood there's all sorts of things in there new england clam chowder lobster bisque seafood paella mussels and fennel sauce a crawfish boil pan-seared fresh-caught atlantic salmon that looks real nice looks a little moist and escargot in gilroy garlic soup not sure i mean that looks nice but escargot and this is corvina and avocado salsa well that's a lot of seafood i'm not much of a seafood lover myself i'm more of a meat eater so let's take a look at the meat slab bacon american wagyu beef steam ship round prime rib look at that that's some meaty meat beef try tip and beef brisket and chicken sausage some sides here we got macaroni and cheese summer corn rainbow cauliflower pork sausage st louis style pork ribs garlic and parmesan french fries elk sliders elk sliders i'm not kidding that's what it says elk sliders milk and fried okra there's more sides over here we have pericover home style mashed potatoes barbecued baked beans and grilled lamb t-bone with pistachio gremolata and tomato bisque look at that that's cute [Music] and bone marrow i mean that's not so cute but people love it and here's the gravy central three types of gravy and dispensers barbecue sauce turkey gravy oh juices candy dispensers there's potatoes salad some horseradish cranberry sauce butter oh here's some rotisserie chicken grilled vegetables and herb roasted turkey dinner rolls the roasted yams are getting like a treatment a sweet treatment cornbread and here's some toppings for the the mexican food which i guess is next arrows it's like everything at the mexican station is in some other language and here's the the wheel of tacos you get made to order tacos al pastor carne asada or chicken there's some spanish rice black beans and we're barely halfway through there's a seafood cocktail some avocado lime pasta salad chipotle corn tomato salad that's not what that looks like that's what it says [Music] but that's not what this looks like oh maybe they have them this says seafood cocktail maybe that's what that is well don't trust the signs trust your taste buds and this is the italian area we have pork also look at this giant chunks of meat some meatballs mushroom soup with a piece of garlic bread i need this is more than just thank you more than italian it's like mediterranean as well now oh there's the steamed crab legs hyping hot wow look at that they're just all steamed hot and fresh ready to enjoy people can't get enough here's the pizza so here's the continuation of the italian food pizza meat lovers this one was truffle and mushroom four cheese and pepperoni hey here's some olives and cherry peppers feta cheese watermelon yukari salad look at these these are fancy cute and frankly adorable these salads except it's it's a blue cheese salad so no thanks salmon deviled eggs and black truffle deviled eggs and avocado toast with feta cheese spanish gazpacho parts of home various nuts and fruits and the salad bar if you're looking to make a salad you can do that but why they make it all for you here in fact right here they're making soup you can get miso soup tonkatsu ramen or singapore laksa fried rice vegetable meal singapore noodles and seafood sinigang this is filipino food at the bacchanal buffet now we're at the sushi area the nigiri sushi says there's a tamago yaki which is the sweet egg but not here and some japanese pickles edamame and the chinese food look at this roasted duck it's just a giant platter of roast and beef short ribs and pork belly and trashy pork and there's dim sum there's also fungus that's what the sign says and this time i'm going to believe it sesame balls vegetables spring rolls stir-fried shredded pork and hamachi stir-fried vegetables kung pao shrimp i've never seen such gigantic shrimp in a kumbha shrimp before that is amazing and more crab here on the bakanau buffet well it all looks so good and i barely know where to begin but i think i'm going to begin with the chinese food all right first plate now i'm a believer in starting with whatever is calling out to you what you're craving it doesn't matter you don't have to go for the most expensive stuff first i know some people that's their buffet strategy i mean you should get to the expensive stuff eventually but i think you got to satisfy yourself with what you're craving first and what i'm craving is this chinese food so i've got the the shrimp the pork the no that's the that's the pork that's the beef this is chashu pork this is duck and this is fish and these are dim sum let's see how it tastes i'm just gonna pick this one up with my fingers wow so much flavor a little bit of spice but juicy and soft and but firm just good this is the beast that's good beef is always so i shouldn't have got the beef for the chinese food because there's so much real meat over there i mean this is real meat but it's like beef on chinese food a little bit hit and miss [Music] here's the pork that's good green peppers no um just tastes like the real deal outside of the strip um tastes like duck what about this fish i'm a little worried because i don't like truffle smell and this said it looks like in truffle oil but it just looks so good i mean look at that look at that it's just crazy looking look at that it's so white and flaky that's what we're finding out no but it's got that truffle yeah definitely has to strum away a lot okay if you like it though you'd love that and this the shumai dim sum i also got the cinegang because i've never seen this on this buffet before i've never seen this on any buffet before let's see how it tastes let's first get the broth has that sourness and it has potatoes feeling for cinnagang it's on the bakana buffet all right second plate this is what i was craving next this is the american wagyu beef this is the prime rib and this is the elk slider not sure about that and mashed potatoes let's try this american wagyu it's okay but i don't know what does wagyu mean like no flavor wow let's try the prime rib i'm pretty sure that's gonna have some flavor oh that's good meat what about this elk burger the slider these must not be that popular just bun isn't soft at all it is on the bottom i'll just eat it like open face i never had elf before but now it's like i think it's my new favorite or maybe sliders are my new favorite thank you all right i had to get the seafood i mean that's this is the centerpiece of the dinner buffet here at the bar canal i got jonah crab claws sea snails and wild caught salmon now i'm not a huge crab fan but they they gave me these crab crackers so i figured i better crack some crab [Music] i guess i can use them on these sea snails is that how that works i hope they aren't really snails like related to snails of the earth these are snails of the sea i just hope that's different but let's start with the salmon because this looks just succulent oh yeah look at that [Music] i mean this this is like textbook flaky fish all right let's crack some sea snakes maybe that's not what you're supposed to do can i just get it out this looks so weird [Music] first of all this doesn't look like it's going to taste good [Music] and if i can't get it out i won't be tasting it kind of curious though but it tastes like i'm pretty sure it's gonna taste like a snail should have read up on how to eat sea snails let's try the jonah crab claws i tried to get like the biggest one i could find because i figured it'd be the easiest to crack just more to do and look it's like pre-split so maybe that'll help i me not a seafood expert [Music] hey look i think i did it [Music] seafood he's like crab i don't really like crab at least it doesn't taste like snails i think it's time for a dessert interlude and they have some of the finest desserts in las vegas here at the bacchanal including some very unusual ice cream pog sorbet i guess that stands for passion fruit orange and guava ube gelato now you're talking i love ube flavored yeah i would that would be great they have roasted coffee gelato pistachio gelato french vanilla always one of my favorites thank you you're very welcome all right let's try this uber perfect so good and they've got creme brulee vietnamese coffee dessert somehow they've made a dessert a vietnamese cup carrot cake key lime tart oh tiramisu cups cheesecake pandan creme brulee pandan i'm not sure what that is but i i've never seen it bruleed that's for sure baklava i do know what that is and i know that's awesome some macarons milk chocolate salted caramel strawberries and here's the crepe station made to order crepes your choice of toppings caramel chocolate raspberry nutella hey it's a pink lemonade cupcake that's cute cheesecake and jasmine curd with mandarin that's a terrible name for a dessert raspberry moose and chocolate mousse and there are cookies and bananas for some reason real fruit i mean why bother when you've got all these desserts chocolate lava cake cobbler rum raisin pudding pecan tart and donuts well that's a lot of amazing desserts i want just about one of everything so it's time to make a plate all right i had to get the jasmine curd and i also got the pandan brulee the rum raisin bread pudding and chocolate covered strawberries all right let's try this pandan brulee i certainly like a regular creme brulee oh look at how green this is that's extremely green [Music] it's almost like a like a like a leafy a leafy sweet sweet leaf [Music] that's why it's green that's really good maybe this jasmine curd will be too it's pretty alright oh yeah it does taste like jasmine like i've smelled jasmine before and that's that's what this tastes like i don't think i want that in a dessert i do like this panda what is panda and delicious all right i'm raising bread pudding i love my pudding i know that it's still warm that's good maybe a little too sweet not very good okay had the chocolate covered strawberries here before i know they're good they're huge look at that i'm juicing i'm telling you there's no buffet in las vegas that can beat the bacon when it comes to desserts all right back to the meat i got the pork also bucco lamb tagine and royal rice i've never seen this type of food like moroccan food i i reckon this is what this is not sure you know about lamb but it looks like beef to me let's see how it tastes that smells really good oh it is really good like spices like you know spices how about pork also hugo this is just a giant bone with meat on it and it has this like uh gravy stuff [Music] pretty good but i just i really love this lamb i've had lamb before too i wasn't crazy about it but i guess i like it in a tagine tagine tajin next plate i had to get my favorite food to get on a buffet which is turkey i also got st louis pork ribs mac and cheese and some cranberry sauce and gravy for the turkey and i got french fries too and ketchup i know a lot of people say hey you gotta eat the expensive stuff on the buffet you gotta get all the really high-end seafood meats you know what i believe in eating what you like on a buffet just eat what you like i mean it's your dinner you're gonna have you want the food it's not like you're trying to beat the casino that's not how i look at buffets i look at buffets as a place i can try so many different things maybe i've never tried before and get the things that i know i love and lots of it all right let's try this turkey i love turkey oops that's good mac and cheese st louis ribs there's a lot of meat on here i can feel it falling apart in my hand so tender too just bones popping off i mean this is what i mean about eating what you like i like this how can you not like this now i'm satisfied and i still have french fries they're always that is fun they're good too about the fries in some of this barbecue sauce that's pretty good too how about the turkey gravy fries and gravy and that's good too hey thanks for watching everybody please give this
