Buying FLOODED Supercars at Salvage Auction for CHEAP!

three two one what's going on guys welcome back to the channel and welcome to new jersey new jersey yeah we're in like trenton new jersey looking at copart flood cars as you guys know hurricane ida came through what a couple months ago and absolutely flooded the northeast so as a result there's a ton of supercars exotic sports cars that have been sent to salvage auction because of the water damage so we're here to check some out today guys look around there's hundreds and hundreds of cars at so many different lots in this video we'll check out a few different lots of northeast but right now we're in new jersey and we're here the first car on our hit list is this beautiful aston martin db9 oh it's beautiful 2 800 miles white with red interior gorgeous car but it was in the flood damage so we got to see how bad the damage is before we bid you know it's always good to see these cars in person yeah especially flood cars the extent of the damage can vary so widely it could have gotten up barely to the floorboard or the whole car could have been submerged so it's going to be a mixed bag today but i want to find that ask martin what what row is it in we're trying to be be okay i think we're close so as you guys know co-part is the biggest salvage auction we've been working with them for so many years they've been partnering with the channel so we'll drop a link down below have it all donated cars without any damage check it out with the link down below but uh oh man i'm already seeing some good stuff oh what is that is that a z06 or a grand sport oh look at this corvette and this wasn't even on my list but check this out oh this is the z06 with the 427 7 liter looks like uh looks like water got pretty high if we're seeing some discoloration on the seat here so the fact that it says locked i'm sure either the engine's locked or the car is locked or keys are locked and it won't start so holy smokes look at this thing no way is this an actual rs5 you know people love to put the rs badges on normal s5s oh yeah it's got the oval tips dang this is a rare find these things i believe revved to like 8 400 rpms naturally aspirated v8 that's a bad sign at the center consoles apart most likely they're trying to get it into uh neutral or something i gotta pop the hood on this thing yeah dual clutch 4.2 liter v8 i believe naturally aspirated there she is kind of similar to the r8 fact that the center consoles apart makes me think they had trouble moving this thing so i doubt it's going to start fire in the hole three two one oh nothing oh no key well that'll do it it's got no key no wonder they were ripping everything apart because they were trying to move it this could be a good play because if you think it's going to run but it just needs a key you may be able to get it for a great deal at auction because other people don't want to bid because it doesn't have a key and you just get a key programmed and it starts right up and you get a great deal on a car this is gonna be one we're gonna want to watch oh check it out jdm lovers here we go an evo i forgot forgot what generation this is evo 10 right maybe 10 i guess we got water in the cup holders christian that is not a good sign may not even need it it's lighting up [Music] will it start right up chill out chill out wipers runs so well but it has water in the cup holders oh man it literally sounds like it's idling perfect okay airbag light of course water getting up this high to the seats definitely screwed up okay why are we missing a head rest the shift knob's gone these seats aren't automatic so no wonder like yeah so the seat belt definitely got some water in it so i wonder if you replace the seat belts with that light go out let's check what's powering this thing see if it's got any mods they're always modded brembo brakes why is it running so well [Music] not bad it goes forward and back i just tested the windows work shocking fact that water got as high as the cup holders and it runs perfectly all with just an airbag light which could be fixed with a seat belt a swap dang we might be bidding on this thing headlights a little bit of condensation inside what do you guys think evo guys comment down below is this a good generation is this a good year it is a 2015 2015. doesn't that sound very new okay well let's know guys finally we found the aston martin i saw it peeking out of the back there we were about to turn around but there it is also there's the flying spur look at that we have to take a look at that this aston martin is one that we really really wanted to see yeah this flying spur probably one of the worst flood cars i have seen this thing was probably fully submerged let's see if we can give you a little view man oh yeah i mean you can tell came all the way up to the dash this thing fully submerged okay it's looking good oh what a beauty this is the new db9 so it's got the carbon ceramic brakes it's got the extra horsepower bump very similar to the garage actually like is the varage just with 20 more horsepower oh look at this interior guys oh my goodness that is beautiful oh it's the gt all right let's give this one a smell oh it's got the new the new infotainment on like the dash 2 800 miles this red is gorgeous so cool all right pop the hood see how that looks so this one they said it was not a run and drive so i'm a little worried that possibly it has some electric issues or something preventing it from starting dude look how clean that is okay so this has not around drive but as we know with our car they're super weird with when it comes to electronics and batteries they need the certain voltages to start up and if you don't give it exactly what it wants it's not going to start and it's a big engine to turn over a big six liter v12 yeah let's see let's see if we can get it to go obviously i doubt we're gonna be able to get it running here but as long as it's good with no huge evidence of water inside the interior and and we think it's something that can come around it might be worth bidding on it knowing it's going to go for a little less being a non-running drive christian's checking the dipstick make sure there's oil in it yeah make sure there's oil and not water okay it's good looks good to me okay let's try start it three two one nope looks like not enough power it stopped yep okay three two one no [Music] no no shoot it was trying damn ah bummer window roll down yeah go back up window oh no no no no go back up no no why is it going down no no no okay no luck on the aston martin super clean car but it wouldn't start and apparently some water got into the seats because they are having trouble moving forward and back so we'll have to think about that but here next up we got this maserati here i wanted to take a look at this one because it's missing these panels though so once again i think somebody was in here doing some work we'll see if it wants to fire up here so the keys were stuck we thought we were toast until i look up on the forums they say hey there's a manual release behind the seat look at this so i pulled that string and what do you know trunk popped right open all right hit that jump point let's see if this thing will fire up oh yep there we go oh yep okay ready three two one there she goes tpms and a check engine light and an airbag okay do the seats work yeah ooh check that out this is another one that was on our list the 69 corvette yes the water did appear to get pretty high but on these old american cars there's not a whole lot of electronics so i wonder if this could still start is this sand or mud oh boy this being a 69 was one of the best years for power so i love right here how they give you the information on the engine so 350 cubic inch and it has 350 horsepower 380 pound-feet of torque that's a ton out of a little 350. all right let's see what we're working with here wow okay that's a lot of power out of that engine okay not too bad definitely some signs of water though all right christian's hooking up the battery i think these things had four-wheel disc brakes all the way back in 69 i didn't know that not bad they said it's a non-run drive so i don't have much hope with this clutch in neutral oh doesn't like that got an e90 m3 with the front bumper off so i told christian wow finally a collision car but it is a water flood car so christian what if it got so high that it floated down the road and crashed into something what the exhaust oh my god yeah that is no good check that out we got like some mold stuff growing on the seats we have the exhaust inside the car no way jose i'm not even going to try to start it this car has definitely not been started since the flood this is a no start look at that talk about boost that is a huge supercharger sitting on top look at that supercharger pulley oh my gosh this thing probably makes like 800 horsepower or more it's like a actual race car poor thing this thing got flooded oh that sucks yeah this is like a legit drag strip car look at the size of the tires oh dude the amount of money somebody dumped into this build oh my gosh if we could somehow get it running oh yeah super super strong flood smell you guys are lucky behind the camera you don't have to go whiffing into these cars with the really bad water musty mildewy smell ugh okay let's see if we can find the battery or at least get a better look at this engine yo look at that okay muscle car guys out there please comment down below what are we working with all i know is that is a fat supercharger i see holly parts morosa heads edelbrock this thing probably makes a stupid amount of power okay but i don't see a battery up here so all right we'll put it back for now we aren't kidding when we said copart has it all dude this thing is like some fast and furious vibes dom well guys we give up we can't find the battery dang i really wanted to hear this thing run it's not in the front it may be in the trunk but there's way too many like screws to get the trunk out and they weren't even turning so i guess the world will never know nobody will get to hear the thousand horsepower drag camaro start up bummer that thing is wicked they still bit on it who knows if it's cheap enough you can never go wrong i heard life come on maybe it'll just start right up all right sure enough this one's clearly you can see how high the water got that's not that bad maybe didn't even go in the interior that much low battery all right let's see if it'll go three two one ah all right wow guys check this one out in this range rover sport dynamic edition meridian sound look at these displays so it seems to be idling okay but we noticed these screens unless you're supposed to hit somebody christian you're supposed to like hit some button for them to come on i think they should normally just come on oh boy that's not a good sign these beautiful screens looks like it went up to like below the seats right about here so i guess it was enough to get in this seat though because these electronics aren't really working forward and back doesn't work up and down doesn't work suspension fault detected oh yeah with these air suspension we got an airbag light on oh with all the electronics in this car this may be see if it goes into drive yep all right i guess we'll turn it off it smells like new smells like a brand new car yeah it doesn't smell like flood dude it smells brand new look at these seats incredible dynamic look at that it's the british flag stitched into them this is high class 2019 man if only like these screens worked yeah no i feel like with all the electronics in this car we probably don't want to go for this but it's probably a simple enough fix just fix this seat this couple faults and then you're maybe good to go but all right guys next up we found a bmw m3 it looks pretty good but we'll see if it starts up here maybe oh nope it said not today oh guys check this out found a roush mustang and guess what it has our triple h so you know he's pushing a lot of power chris and i are gonna pop the hood see if it is indeed supercharged because i think some roush mustangs can just be like an exhaust and stuff but if this one's got a supercharger that's a big value adder you can see the water got in the interior though oh yep sure enough ford racing routes get a view of that right there hey what's with us in finding supercharged mustangs yeah it's just like that one in phoenix this thing check this out guys roush badge boos gates six-speed manual oh here we go we got life we're gonna try to jump it okay three two one okay we'll try one more time dang you can do it i believe in you hmm steering assist i'll try one last time and then we'll leave it be all right i know it sounds like it's right there oh we have life i just felt like running and it's not some waterfall out the back tailpipe so it's not too bad maybe it's showing like no lights oh airbag light of course water probably got to the seat and screwed some stuff up smells moist in there yeah it definitely smells a little watery in here uh oh we still got some water in here oh this is fresh oh it's got an active exhaust the windows work okay yes uh do all this stuff work okay we can swap in a pair of seats see it's not moving but those are cheap okay let's put this to track exhaust see what happens oh wait it wasn't track so it gets quieter let's put it to normal mode oh yeah see you guys heard that the valves oh that's so cool it's got a switchable exhaust dude it's running pretty good i mean yes we still have some water back there and some sand but it seems to run pretty good all right i'm gonna try to this is saying something for american simple a few less electronics to go bad i love it yeah definitely less electronics in here compared to that ass and martin and other cars let me give it one small little rev and then let me inch it up make sure that all work [Music] man a good bit of white smoke but not not blue like oil all right just shut her down dang not bad guys here is the porsche i thought this was a dot too for a second because of the rear taillights but he just swapped them on so it tricked me so why is the radio navigation thing pulled out i don't know about this there's the key right there i guess this has no power no nothing yeah with these porsches when the battery dies as we know from our previous porsche of eyes getting to the hood is very hard so oftentimes they don't even put in the effort because sometimes you got to remove the wheel the fender liner and gets the emergency pull release to be able to get to the hood see they exit and the battery's under the hood so great design porsche cause whenever these things run out of power it's a pain in the butt to get them going again but uh tempting this is only like 18 grand but i think we should pass we got other cars we're gonna want to bid on more than this all these cars are flooded oh boy look at that we got the exotics this beautiful aston martin db11 it's got the twin turbo v12 where's the engine start here we go in the middle okay ready three two one [Music] yeah seems like it doesn't like that and then this 360. this one water got super super high so i think there's no saving this one but be a good parts car too bad because this thing has like an exhaust on it it's got check this out the gated six-speed manual oh this would be like our perfect car if it was something that was more fixable i think it's with the water getting so high it's probably going to be a lot of trouble getting it going again so probably somebody's going to use it for parts but still super cool i guess we can try uh christian the immobilizer remember is there some button yeah that button's usually supposed to do something okay let's see hit the button [Music] yep ah my dream motorcycle 959 pentagon ducati probably no i mean it probably won't even light up oh try to start it wait clutch in i think there's a button like circles maybe that yeah three start kill swing uh over here and that's the horn all right that works oh it's got to be in like neutral and stuff oh the kickstand needs to be up oh yeah all right here here get on it no way is this thing about to start oh shoot done like that all right anybody in the market for an f 750 bmw sounds pretty good any lights on the dash oh service over how do we exit out it's touch screen i don't know guys is that normal amount of smoker is it just because it's human and cold first gear yeah all right it works cool all right we only got 30 minutes until it gets dark but we're headed over to the other sublot just a few miles down the road to check out some more cars so it's crazy with these flood storms that happen obviously there's way too many cars in such a short period of time so they basically rent out these huge areas of land to park all these hurricane ida flood cars so we're going over the other one check out a few last cars and definitely definitely some of these are worth bidding on comment down below what you like so far all right guys check it out christian are you kidding me look at that guys there's a huracan they mark the water line that high so that's that's a good amount of water but it really doesn't look that bad i mean these seats are nice definitely smell it a little bit but i mean this thing probably has like so few miles on it evo spider this thing is sick wow probably like 300 000 brand new huge carbon ceramics here at auction totaled poor thing this thing was gonna be living its best life and now ida hits bam sitting in a salvage yard so pretty cool but um there's a bentley here that i want to check out also there's a 70 chevelle and a viper so let's see if we can go find those they said they're in the back we're working against time it's about to get dark in about 30 minutes but let's see what we can do look at that mustang with a v8 missing the hood i'm missing yeah i miss it oh missing a lot more than just the hood oh shoot what happened here the whole project again wow oh look at all these cars chris all right we got it we got to stay focused stay focused no side tracks oh we got tesla model 3 oh yeah there was like five teslas here doesn't elon say they'll float before they sink like come on aren't these things like the best flood cars to buy if they don't really flood oh look at that porsche bio uh oh that means it's probably got some mold or something going yep oh look at the mold on the passenger seat look at that 992 911 this thing just got built and it's already here poor car i don't even know if i've seen one of these up close and personal yet wow nirvana what does that mean guys nirvana edition 911 i've never heard of that it's got nirvana on the brake calipers too i've never heard of this guys what is the nirvana 911 and right next to the 911 christian i'll be darned an s8 with the v10 you never see these yes oh no dude it says bio and the water lines this high i don't even want to look inside here it's probably all moldy oh yep yep yep they're on the passenger seat i do not need to smell that in all right jackpot guys we found both the bentley and the viper but this isn't even the viper i was looking for this is a gen 3 and i was looking for a gen 2. is this like supercharged or anything okay supercharged no but it's pretty dirty i mean the fact that they say locked could mean that the engine's locked or do that mean that the doors are locked okay so by lock they definitely meant the driver's side door but me being six six over here i'm trying to go in through the passenger door okay yep there we go we're in let's see if it'll start now huh all this effort come on oh oh we got life all right ready three two one uh oh yeah big v10 that's a lot to turn over dang it well we found the bentley and we were gonna try to start it but i took one whiff of that driver's side door again it's written bio on it i should have known it's literally because these luxury cars seal so well so they're sealing all the mildew mustiness inside the car yep this is a no-go i mean who knows it could run i don't even want to mess with it no thanks okay there's some old classic cars here somewhere he said there's they're over here let's see if we can find that chevelle oh yeah look at that i found it guys this chevelle ss 454 big block this thing is probably worth a good amount of money and it's a manual how does it smell okay much better in here much better hood release where's the hood release uh where's this hood dang comment down below you muscle guys is this a clone or is this a real car how do we tell i don't know one of these oh crap nope not that not that either quick break to look at the viper because we can't figure out how to open the hood on the chevelle but good thing we know how to open the hood on this viper super funky you got to pop it from the front and then it clam shells open as such look at that big v10 i can see a little dirt up there so water definitely got pretty high once again yeah all this mud right here good indication that water got all the way up there this is probably going to be another no-go last thing here look at this we're walking out we saw this bike a 1955 harley-davidson police special yes it runs and drives they say in that crazy this as well is probably worth a nice chunk of change yeah hagerty insurance man i wonder what they paid out guys comment down below what is a 1955 harley worth that is super cool day two [Music] all right guys day two we are at another co-part branch previewing one last car here it's a special one we saved the best for last oh i see it dead ahead but look at all the others are you sure we can't take a peek at that new vantage or the gtr yeah check that out all sorts of exotic sports cars and luxury cars but that that is what we came for yeah the other ones are cool okay actually that gt3 is very cool over there but uh no this is the golden ticket 997 gt3 rs oh my goodness this is a unicorn one of only 1100 or 1200 i think they made or something like that extremely low production carbon ceramic brakes big carbon wing and once again victim of a flood all right um oh geez we got some water up here oh man what is that some gauge oh there's the battery tender oh man buddy no yes there's some water present but also this window is tipped down so it could have just happened from like a recent rain as to why it's wet you know not exactly sure but uh interior otherwise looks quite nice beautiful alcantara sports seats the rear seat delete as part of the rs package we're gonna try to get a jump pack here and try to start it up and then while we're waiting for christian to grab the jump pack check that out 991 gt2 rs that had a bad day up here must have hit something did some suspension damage but the rest of the car looks decent cool camo wrap and of course this 991.2 gt3 uh-oh it's a flood claim so yep the interior was all pulled up wow look at that all the floorboards are up oh boy it's tough to beat a 991 gt3 9000 rpms of flat 6 naturally aspirated goodness that is pretty cool but honestly my heart goes to the 997. this is the car i grew up with when i was a kid think about it you know born in 99 so when i'm like seven eight years old this car was just hitting the streets and it was an absolute beast this was the one everybody wanted especially the rs version of the gt3 this was hardcore track ready this was the coolest car in all the video games and the one that we always lusted after and now for it to be here at auction where we could possibly win it and fix it up and restore it to its former glory i mean that would be like a dream come true so i definitely think we'll be bidding on this one there's once again thousands of cars here at the yard we don't have time to look at them all i mean there's so many good look at this what we have a new karma rivero a new aston martin vantage here some mercedes bmws porsche same thing tons of cars to choose from and that's the beauty of copart especially with the flood cars if you're interested in flood cars now is your time to get a flood car because there are literally tens of thousands of flood cars from the recent hurricanes that are now sent to auction and sold the highest bidder so you can get some really good stuff if you know what to look for and you pick out the hidden gems you know something that you're specifically looking for maybe something that you see that's special about it you know something you can get a good deal on and maybe fix up but of course some flood cars could be even worse and just meant for parts you know some get super high like we said earlier in the video and as you've seen this video they can get pretty gnarly but uh we go after the light damage ones and we'll be bidding on a bunch of the cars from this video oh here comes christian with the jump pack let's see if this gt3 rs will start up the first time i won't turn oh okay all right we have power so uh seats all wet but forget it let's do it okay we're in trying to not get my butt too dirty all right ready oh that's such a good six speed okay ready three two one [Music] hang on let me flip it around or something yeah it turns but [Music] well guys there you have it just left the copart yard and it was great to see gt3rs in person because that was was is one that we're definitely gonna want to bid on i don't know the fact that it was having was kind of glitching out when he tried to start it it's got me a little worried because a couple of weeks ago our buddy saw the car and it was running and driving just fine but now that there was a another rainstorm and that window was a little down maybe some water got into the car and or or the jumper pack wasn't doing its job like i don't know you just sometimes don't know but it didn't start we know that and we're a little concerned to shell out six figures on a car that might have some issues the way that i look at it there seems to be unlimited cars out there and obviously not an unlimited budget for us so whichever one we're going for or do we go for two cheaper ones so many good cars so it's just decision decision so it was fun to do a little mini co-part tour across the northeast and we hit a few four five lots total in this video so so many cool cars in this vlog comment down below which was your favorite which you think we should bid on i know we'll be bidding on a number of them and hopefully winning one or two of them you know that's the goal but we have to be smart got to stick to our budgets but we'll cross our fingers and hope we get lucky yeah that's also a good point to make conservative bids on a variety of cards you can't put all your eggs in one basket for one car and then you don't end up winning it so if we can just spit really conservatively if we come
