Building My DREAM Racing Sim Setup...

this is my sim racing setup and it definitely could use an upgrade but before I actually build a brand new sim setup right over here we of course have to get rid of all of this [Music] basically all right so I basically have this entire space cleared and we have two huge boxes and then the monitor stand here and this box right here is actually the main setup and it weighs like 127 lb so I just know that thing is just going to be a pain in the butt to build and then this thing right over here is the chair and I'm actually going to unbox this because there is a pretty cool feature of it okay so this right here is the SE and it's actually completely different than the other seats I actually had in my first Sim racing setup or like my gaming chair because this is like a fullon like bucket seat you guys can see of course it's not like carbon like a real car so it's just plastic but yeah basically you just kind of can't adjust it but it makes it more realis stick and you can also see from the picture it comes with racing harnesses too so I'm pretty sure it comes with racing harnesses I hope if I open the box it will be in there hopefully I don't have to buy them separate but yeah it should just make it more realistic kind of all right complete honest review of the seat oh that is super comfy but yeah this seat's actually super comfy compared to the other ones cuz it's not like just hard plastic it also has like the cushion I don't know what type of cushion this is but bro I'm usually like don't fit in like normal seats I guess or like I like to adjust them but this actually feels really good I can just imagine VR headset driving it's going to be so sick Bro yeah here are the racing harnesses bro are these like real racing harnesses bro okay so we're probably going to have to open the instructions cuz um I'm not smart enough to figure this out actually on camera it looks like alcanta and it actually might be alcanta just judging how it is in person I don't know what it is but it actually feels like pretty good but yeah I'm really curious to see this Sim racing thing like how the actual harness works let me just see how I set this up all right there's like lowkey a couple of instructions here so I'm just going to like scan the QR code up here and just watch the video and I'll just time lapse me figuring how out how to do [Music] this all right so it turns out that you actually can't really finish this because you basically need the whole frame of the chair to like basically start getting built but this kind of gives you an idea but I'm really not looking forward to actually building this Frame I looked at the YouTube video and the YouTube video was like 20 minutes long so I know it's going to take me like 2 hours to do and I'm just not looking forward to it but I'm probably just going to get started on it and finish it some other time cuz I'm trying to do all day right now all right it's now day two and I actually just ended up putting everything over here and I waited one day before I actually started doing everything but I only have like an hour to an hour and a half and I don't think it's going to be enough time to finish this entire thing here but maybe we can get lucky but I highly doubt it let's just start the super long time lapse though I'm in the going and hurt somebody yeah baby you know I'm only one then tell you much is still left over here here it's like all kind of bundled up in there but there's like literally so many like pieces on pieces and there's a ton of bolts too so honestly I kind of gave up and I called my friend and we're both going to just be building this thing together cuz I kind of gave up I already spent like 2 hours and have like literally nothing done hopefully we can finish this up today but I actually don't think we can I think it's going to be a whole another day I'm not going to lie [Music] [Music] all right so it's actually been one week since I last filmed but I basically have everything done and I even tested out fitting the steering wheel basically it took a super long time cuz measuring this thing actually took like 8 hours or something cuz even just to figure out how to do the steering wheel this whole part right here is aftermarket completely like I had to order this from a whole different site but at least it's done now and now you can see just how messy like everything is I also have the monitor Mount I have to set up and I'm probably going to honestly twist this the other way I think I'm going to put it against the wall like that so yeah I'm just going to do [Music] that D it why it's getting colder when the sun come out might just waste a way don't know what life about all right so yeah you guys literally just saw how hard it is to try and fit this monitor like I've literally tried every single way I can and the monitor stand and the Sim racing stand or whatever they are from the same company so you would think they would fit but of course not so honestly I really don't know what I can do because the issue is the monitor did fit good over here when it was behind here but the problem is as soon as I sat down it just looks way too high so I'd have to lower it which I could do by like moving these brackets down which is going to be a pain but I would be able to do do it but then the thing is the screen would be like behind these huge bars here so then you'd have like the screen kind of be in a really annoying awkward position so honestly I don't think there's anything I can do which sucks with this stand I'm just going to have to use my desk like the previous desk or a different one and then I'm going to have to use that long monitor attachment arm and I'll basically just use the standing desk and I can like kind of easily change the height of it and like change the swivel of the monitor but yeah that's literally all I can do cuz I've literally tried this for like half an hour and it's just not working and that basically is why this video has been taking so long literally nothing's working bro bro you actually can't make this up like Nothing fits in this video I like bro how long is it going to take me to do this bro this desk doesn't fit like it's literally like 2 in off so I'm actually done I'm not even moving another desk in here bro I'm just going to move this bed like over there so it's going to block like half my closet but I'm done bro I'm actually about to like cancel this video bro like nothing's working I'm about to lose my dang mind bro so yeah we're going to move this bed vertically and then we'll have enough space to maybe even put like the Sim racing setup this way kind of I don't even know bro Pro probably we won't cuz nothing's been fitting this video [Music] bro okay so finally I kind of have it set up I'm going to see if I can give you guys kind of a POV dude it's like lowkey kind of tight so when you're actually like in the setup here I'm going to just actually move it right where my head is you can kind of see that these two things are kind of annoying and I thought I could kind of get the screen a little bit ahead of it but it just is not going to work at all which kind of sucks about like this I've never paid attention I guess everyone just has to deal with these which is kind of annoying I didn't even have that with how my setup was before but I mean yeah at least it's more like kind of realistic but yeah now I need to actually do the pedals handbrake shifter like wheel PC all that stuff finally though we're almost done and also kind of side note I might keep it like this but also it is kind of annoying that you have to kind of like walk through this it makes you feel like super claustrophobic but at least this is like kind of done to show my mama I really got it be screaming l l one day on the Cru show elevated now picture that why she came left I never saw the point that I be needing cake who's catering she working out but we about to ask some bro finally after like I don't even know like probably at least 10 hours and like 4 hours today I also just got electrocuted I can't tell if you guys know and it like feels like it's tingling still but anyways now it's time to actually load up everything and then we can cue the cinematics and I can show you guys my drifting skills all right so as you guys can see the setup is finally complete it's literally been like 2 weeks or something since I last had a Sim setup so it's literally been like so long since I played so I'm probably going to be like pretty dog but that's just kind of my excuse I'm locked in on the drifting bro I know this video has literally been like all over the place too dude this actually is so sick I played this for like 10 15 minutes prior but bro this thing is so sick the only thing I don't like but I don't even I'm like used to it already or these two P like things you can even see like how it kind of blocks the screen but like I'm lowkey kind of used to it but I need to get used to my drifting again oh no wait let me cook oh a little overturn bro if I practice for like 10 minutes I'm lowy going to cook bro also if you guys can see with my foot placement the thing is with the SIM setup it kind of makes it feel like you're in an F1 cockpit cuz I mean in a normal car you would usually have your feet like over here so honestly I think I have a second pedal set so I might have a second one over here cuz then it would make it feel a lot like more natural like what I'm actually driving cuz when it's all the way up here this feels like an F1 cockpit bro I'm actually going to try out a couple of games with this I don't think I have F1 like downloaded on this PC but well I lowkey just be playing a setto Corsa and if any of you guys are new or like don't really know about Sim racing this is kind of like a setto Corsa right here I just be practicing my drifting like this bro one thing that did kind of suck is that with this Sim like kind of setup my actual Logitech shifter like didn't really have a place to like actually stand because this plate over here that's over here it kind of is like shaped in a weird way where it doesn't fit almost for some reason and I know this angle is kind of awkward oh also I forgot to talk about this I don't have a tighten cuz I have to tighten it for in the back and also if you guys are that doesn't count so yeah that is the Sim setup we lowkey do have a lot of improvement to make like okay you guys can see it yeah like this steering wheel we definitely could improve that we also could get like a Sim like motion thing for this setup so basically goes like under this chair and I think that lowkey is it I mean the monitor stand I can't really do anything about that which kind of
