accident we're not going to worship by accident we're going to be intentional so one of the things that the enemy is preoccupied in convincing you is that your praise always has to be demonstrative but i was sitting there and i heard the lord say something to me just a few moments ago while ashley was singing and he says tell the people that your presence is your praise maybe that didn't work then he said tell tell the people that your presence is your proof sometimes you don't have to say anything just show up and let the devil know that whatever you tried to do to me my presence is my proof and my praise that you're still a liar come on here and illusion i want you just to lift your hands even if you don't say anything out of your mouth just let the devil know present [Music] ministry let's thank god for all of these incredible incredible men and women who have made such a selfless sacrifice they have been working throughout the year since march of 2020 rehearsing and recording and taping and it has been an excruciating process but it has also been a fulfilling process and i want to thank the music ministry i want to thank our worship and arts ministry our dancers i will share i will share the conclusion of our experience today some of the individuals who have just been just incredible uh in the ministry listen uh we're gonna move because we're going to the word of the lord there is a word from the lord amen now don't let this heat distract you you've been in hotter places than this and had a good time amen amen listen our lady is here today lady jametta is here and you all know that over the last year she has had a tremendous journey the enemy tried to take her out not once or twice but at least three times but i tell you he's still a liar and a loser and she's here with us today i want you if i know you've been up on your feet but come on celebrate our lady for me come on she's the strength behind all of this i want her to come i don't i just wanted to come and say something just say hello to you on this morning i'm trying to get her to commit to preaching at least once every two months here amen but she's holding charleston down and i thank god for her i thank god for her life and i thank god that she's she's a prayer warrior she's a woman of god who knows how to pray one more time clap your hands for lady gemina good morning charlotte good morning saints of the most high god it is a testament as bishop said that our presence is a praise unto god because if it had not been for god who's been on our side i don't know what your testimony is today but i just want to testify if it had not been for god who was on my side some people say i don't know where i would be but i know where i would be it wouldn't be here but i thank god today hallelujah and i've never heard my grandma say this but i've heard the old say say that i've wrapped up tied up and tangled up in jesus and i really didn't know what that meant and i've been i've been really thinking about that over the last week i don't even know why it came into my spirit but it doesn't mean that i'm perfect it doesn't mean that everything is going right but it means that when my flesh fails god is a strength of my life and my portion forever i believe they're wrapped up tied up and tangled up in jesus means that god is my strong tower he's my strength he's my hallelujah he's my will in the middle of the will but i don't know about you over the last however long we've been disjointed and out of church and in our own spaces but i think that some of us really understood and recognized that god is not just in the church but he's wherever we are so i know that we're back in the building but i hope people haven't come back the same way it's quiet it's okay but i pray that while we've been gone that these sanctuaries have been extended has have been expanded that god has done a new work in us this is the eighth month of the year isn't it and this is symbolic of new things so i think i believe that god is about to do a new thing and what he has begun in us he's got enough to complete it until the day of jesus christ it's good to be in the house of the lord and i just challenge you all since god has given us another chance to gather let's make sure that we make him proud with how we carry his glory and how we allow ourselves to matriculate through our lives and make sure that we're representing who god is and i don't know about you but he's everything to me god bless you charlotte i love you much and we'll see you real soon the lord to stretch you you want a great platform you better be careful because the process may not necessarily be the process that you expected but we are here because the lord has wielded so and we chapter 3 i want to i didn't have an opportunity to finish what the lord was saying to us last sunday so i want to take this opportunity to bring resolve to this word today joshua chapter 3 thank god chapter three i'm gonna be reading at verse one out of the amplified translation whatever translation you have is certainly appropriate listen to what moses says here joshua rose early in the morning and they removed from shittum came to the jordan he and all of the israelites and lodged there before passing over and after three days the officers went through the camp commanding the people when you see the ark of the covenant of the lord your god being carried by the levites set out from where you are and follow it yet a space must be kept between you and the presence about 3 000 feet by measure don't come near it so that you may know the way that you must go for you have not passed this way before you have not passed this way before i want to continue to talk to you from the subject navigating your next just remind yourself there's a next for me now you've got to you've got to resolve that within yourself that god has a next for you because if he didn't have a next for you you would not be here now so so the lord wants us to help you to be able to navigate your next lord do it again and we will give you the praise in jesus name i told you last week that we have just experienced with israel their pastor moses has died and his death is very interesting because he is the he's the guy that now brings israel out of egypt into the wilderness he now helps them to move and matriculate through the wilderness for 40 years and just at the moment god was about to deliver them out of the wilderness and bring them into their promised place the lord takes moses away he's not sick the bible says his eyes were abated which means he didn't lose his eyesight um he he was not infirm the lord just took him and israel now is in a state of mourning moses dies on the seventh day of adar which is actually the seventh day of february watch this and the 30 days of mourning that god allows israel to now engage in he says to israel i'm going to allow you to cry over this for 30 days but on day 31 i want you to wipe the tears from your eyes straighten up your back and move to your next because what you must understand family is that god will give us a season of weeping and mourning but when the season of weeping and mourning is over you've got to straighten up your back and wipe the tears from your eyes and move on to your necks what's interesting about this is that 28 days into the morning process joshua now sends spies out to now canvas and search out the land of canaan they come back watch this on the eighth day of march are what the hebrew calendar calls now the eighth day of nissan the the the the spies return watch this one day after the time of mourning has been completed and what's interesting thing here is that joshua does not wait until the time of mourning from moses was over to put a plan in place but while they are yet weeping over what was joshua is already planning for what's next i don't know what you come for you need to understand it's okay to weep over with your laws it's okay to mourn over what your laws but while you're weeping over what you lost you've got to start planning for what's next and joshua here teaches us i don't have a whole lot of time but what i've come to tell you is that there are some particulars shall particulars there are some particulars that are necessary for navigating the next move of god in your life and here's what the bible tells us that now the lord releases joshua to move on to canaan he says to joshua joshua all right let's be real moses is dead sometimes you've got to remind yourself that what was good to you yesterday is no longer a part of your season today and in order to experience the best of what god has i remember my grandmother used to say good better best don't ever you know in order to get to best you gotta get rid of the good and you gotta even get rid of get rid of the better the fact of the matter is that you will never experience the best of what god has for you until you're willing to let go of good and better and what god says to joshua is this watch this he says now it's time to move on just tell yourself it's time to move on he now releases israel to go into the place of promise now i told you last sunday and it's necessary that i remind you that israel now has to experience and whenever for those of you all that are just familiarizing yourself with the church and the word of the lord is new to you i want to be clear that when i am talking about the israelites or the people or the children of israel i'm talking about the people of god so israel actually represents you and i and so the lord has to take israel through two deliverances two deliverances he has to take them through the red sea deliverance then he has to take them now before they go into canaan through the jordan river deliverance to deliverances because the red sea now represents deliverance from sin you can never reach the place of god in your life until you are willing to go through the process of deliverance from sin the red sea represents that deliverance they come out of egypt egypt which represents sin and now they have to cross over the red sea but when you look at the jordan river while the red sea represents deliverance from sin the jordan river represents deliverance from self all right in other words family god cannot really trust you with your necks until you are willing to allow god to deliver you from yourself all right all right i can't hear a whole lot of amens but i brought a few with me because most of the time it really is not the devil who's holding you back because the devil is already defeated can i share with you that the devil has no power the devil has no authority he cannot destroy you because he has been defeated for over 2 000 years back on calvary and most of the attack attack and most of the sabotage sabotage and most of the hindrances that we give credit to the enemy for is not really the enemy because the enemy is already defeated but what the enemy is is the enemy in me i become my greatest my greatest hindrance y'all stay with me cause i got to help you i now become my greatest obstacle it is not the naysayer it is not the critic it's not the player haters it's not the folk that don't like me it's me and until i allow god to take me through a process of navigation i will always be the one who stands between me and my blessing all right let's just do this because we can't touch each other but we can touch ourselves just slap yourself on the chest and tell them the problem is me it's going to get better in a minute all right it is known as the jordan river deliverance because jordan now this river is the river now that gives israel entrance into jericho or the promised land and the only thing that stands between israel and the place of promise is death to self and now i know it's not popular i know i know it's not a prosperity message but if you desire in this year 2021 to see the miracles and the blessings of god you've got to go through a process of self-denial death to self that is what joshua is trying to teach us here look at what he says verse one of chapter three let's go the bible says now that joshua got up early in the morning he got up early in the morning point one about navigating your necks you have to prioritize your plan i'm not going to be long but i got to help you you have to prioritize your plan see the problem is not that most of us don't have a plan because some of us don't but most of us have a plan the problem is we don't prioritize our plan we don't get up early in the morning it is something about getting up early in the morning before the text messages starts and before the emails start and before the phone calls and the children get up out of the bed you've got to in this season start prioritizing your plan because the greatest enemy to your next is known as distractions distraction just shake your head i can't see your lips but i can see your head most of us should be 10 years down the road now we should be five years into our plan but the problem is that we have been getting distracted by everything that has the purpose of sabotaging our future amen like y'all like these new chandeliers i'll preach to the chandeliers amen you've got to be careful in this season not to allow distraction to sabotage your plan you got to prioritize it sometimes you got to shut down everybody turn off the telephone get off of facebook and start working your plan there's some of you that are sitting up in here right now you got businesses in your belly you got entrepreneurship in your womb but you are so preoccupied with irrelevant things ain't paying your bills ain't putting no money in your pocket you're just distracted but joshua teaches us that this is the season of navigation because some of you are waiting on god to do it and god's waiting on you to do it you've got to start prioritizing your plan get your plan in please start working on your credit start putting some money aside y'all hear me start now networking i ain't talking about getting likes on your facebook page you standing there looking like a wonder and ain't got ten dollars in the bank account i ain't talking about that i'm talking about networking with people who know more than you know who has more than what you have my god you've been talking about him makeup and heels for the last 10 years but you've got to start prioritizing your plan listen i ain't got long but if if there's one thing that this pandemic has taught us is that none of us know when we're leaving here did you hear what i said i know friends who they wasn't sick they didn't have a disease they didn't have any ailments they were here on monday and by monday 12 midnight they were gone none of us have we don't have a time we don't know when we're leaving but one thing we do know is that we got control of our now and i'm gonna put some things in place now joshua said get up early early early in the morning i cursed the demon of sleep to one o'clock p.m i curse it my god he only got four hours left before the business is closed you gotta get up early in the morning start putting out your application go somewhere and get your resume done you got to prioritize you have to prioritize your plan i'm moving it'll get better not only do you have to prioritize your plan look at what verse 1 says here verse 1 says here that that after joshua gets up early in the morning family that he now they removed i love this they removed elisha from shiddum they now left the place called um because not only must you prioritize your plan you also have to participate in the process i'm going to preach like a methodist preacher with points you got to you've got to hear me you have to participate in the process it's not enough just to believe god a whole lot of folk believe god garden are still broke it's not enough it's not enough just to name it and claim it grab it and blab it i don't care how many times you walk on the car lot and take your hand and lay it on that car and declare in the name he could observe i see of jesus christ this car belongs to me well the question i have is after you have laid your hand on it have you participated in the process have you checked your credit score you know i have you to put a deposit away you've got to participate in the process please hear me the lord told me to tell 850 a yard he said that this is the season you got to be a boss and start making moves did you hear what i said you've been sitting on your tail for the last 17 months and god said not only am i opening up the economy i'm opening up your way there are opportunities just waiting for you to bust a move there are people on the sidelines who have the funds that you need for your business who has the resources that you desire but you got to start busting a move joshua said get up from get up from this place and move to the things of god you must understand em now is the place where anything watch this and anyone dishonors and disrespects your covenants [Laughter] with your god you remember em should've missed the place israel placed themselves they now lived in em briefly but god says you have committed a sin because now there is immoral immoral behavior you are worshiping idol god it's the place of broken covenant it's the place of infidelity with you and your god and god says in order for me to show you what i have for you got to get out of the place called shinima and you got to make a move hear me young folk the lord says in this season move away from anybody who brings disrespect and dishonor to your god come here you know what i found out edwin i found out through this pandemic i could live without seeing people some folk i thought i couldn't live without some folk i thought i had to see every day god shut all that down from march 2020 until may 2021 he said i'm going to show you you can survive without the crowd anybody in here and what god has told me to tell you today is that it is the season now for you to move away from anything and anybody who brings disrespect and dishonor to your god now i know you're not going to like this but we'll get there it is not enough family for you to pray that the lord takes certain people out of your life have you ever prayed the lord just take them out of my life and just take them i'm sick of them it's not enough just to pray that prayer you have to participate in the process you got to delete their contacts you got to unfriend them how come on you got to block their calls you got to learn how to make moves in this season now the thing that requires confidence in god is that many times in this place of separation you know you feel like you gotta explain and you gotta apologize because there hasn't been an argument it hasn't been a disagreement it's just the season is over how many of you know that there's certain seasons where certain people who have been right or die for the last 15 years their season is up and the worst thing that you and i can do is to pull someone from an old season into my now season when they're not anointed for my necks oh can i help you abraham what are you doing god said you can't bring lot with you he's my cousin he's my blood he's my homeboy he that's my grandmama son lord you telling me i can't take a lot he said no because lot's anointing was good in your words but here it ain't good in your now and the reason why some of us have not seen the hand of god move in our lives it's because you pulled old friends and old relationships into your now and he will not give bread to dogs excuse me did i say that just tell yourself he ain't gonna waste bread on dogs so you got to you got to move yourself now i wish god would do this for us but joshua says i've got to do this i've got to remove myself from the place that dishonors my relationship with my god now i got to hurry you got to prioritize your plan family you got to do that and then you got to participate in this process family now it's very interesting because the bible lets us to know that israel could not take possession over the promised place which is their next they cannot take possession of this new place called canaan with the same mindset and the same mentality turn my turn me up so i can preach to myself they could not god would not release them into their blessing with an old mentality watch this he says now i got it for you but if i give it to you now with that attitude and that mindset you'll turn your blessed place into a cursed place all right i don't know what you're logged on to here but this is all i got and so they could not take possession of this new place with the same mindset now got to hurry to explain to you who these people are these individuals who are about to go into canaan called the children of israel are not actually the same individuals that came out of egypt there was a group of individuals that came out of egypt and they all died in transition lord i wish i had time i said they died in the middle of the wilderness they died in the middle of the shift because of doubt and unbelief come here don't you die in the middle of your transition because you become weary of being in a place called i can't explain it i wish i had somebody in here and god said it's in those moments those wilderness experiences those transitional places it's the most frustrating place to be in pam because you're not where you were and you're not where you're going it's almost as if you're in a holding pattern it looks like every prayer you prayed ain't being answered it looks like every prophecy you receive all of them were lies but i hear god say don't die in the wilderness because the transition is not to kill you it's just a passageway to your necks would you just encourage yourself i got to hurry up we got about seven minutes would you encourage yourself and tell them don't die in transition don't die in the middle of the wilderness because there's more for you ahead of you than what's behind you and so the whole nation of israel dies in the middle of the wilderness and now their children their offspring the next generation watch this is born in the wilderness these are the generations now who will now birth in transition because you can still have a baby in the middle of your transition all right so they were born in the wilderness and they lived watch this because this is important for this generation they live their entire lives following the pillar of cloud by day and following the pillar of fire by night this new generation that joshua is pastoring has no idea no idea anymore of what it meant to be settled in one place lord preached to me they don't know what it is to be committed to one cause this generation they did not know the value of being established in one place for a significant amount of time they were wilderness babies so they couldn't live in houses they had to live in tents because when the lord said get up and move they had to get up and move one of the gifts of this generation that my generation has lost is the ability to move with the presence they're not bogged down with tradition and ritualism and laws and creeds they move with the present they're not intimidated they're not embarrassed that when the presidency lay on the ground they lay their behinds on the ground brothers they run around the church they run around the church because they're wilderness babies they didn't have time to become familiar with egyptian laws and judea customs but the problem with this generation is that there's no loyalty they'll be a part of six churches in one year they'll have ten jobs in six months because they don't know the failure help the holy ghost of settling their behinds in one place i was talking to dick and tony lemon where tony it's only here this morning i don't know he was working late last night with us in the sanctuary and we were talking that tony told me that on the 16th of this month he's retiring from his job still a young man i said how can you retire so young he said i've been at one job for 44 years come on generation i'm trying to help you i said one job for 44 years he said i've been in one job for 44 years and then i began to think i said look at this all right chelsea's here and i always use it as an example because chelsea is my first child in ministry in 1989 in 1989 i didn't have a church i didn't have members all i had was next and this girl right here her mama brought her to me she had just turned four years old how old are you now about 36 now 36 years old you know how many times i had to sit her down you know how many times i had to correct her you know how many times i had to chastise and experian all i'm saying and he said you don't win but then the lord you know the lord said to me this the lord said to me thank you all for coming today um the lord said to me the reason why you're stressed is because you've been irresponsible with paying your bills you'll buy a 700 pair of shoes and no you got two bills that need to be paid that's the lord talking to me that's how he talks to me he says so why would i pay off your debt and make you more irresponsible the lord has integrity you got to plan participate in the plan of god y'all you hear me hang and all the weight just drops off for you i believe god well you know what why you believe in god go to the gym stop eating carbs and fried food just dance there to participate and then you're looking in the mirror every child look look at this i'm just so fat with your fat get rid of it i'm back in the sanctuary i'm going to talk you know i preach one way on camera but i'm back in the century now whatever it is the bible says lay aside every sin and the weight and that means that whatever whatever you are carrying that's heavy to you your body a relationship [Music] the lord says lay that weight aside and prophecy and bible is being fulfilled the bible told us there's going to be diseases and famines do you hear what i'm saying but here's when you prioritize your plan god honors your desire he honors your desire and my fear for you the reason why i'm talking like this risking you off to coming back because i could have been hooping by now and we've been done my fear for you is that you will reach your neck so exhausted that that you're going to the place of the promise of god but not you're so exhausted you can't even enjoy it you're so broken and wounded from trying to mismanage stuff you should have gotten rid of is that you gotta prioritize your plan no for the next three weeks i can't go out to dinner with y'all because i'm trying to work my business plan i can't be on a group chat with y'all so i'm sorry i'm not being funny i'm not trying to act off you know but i'm trying to finish school i'm going to be 80 years old and still trying to get my undergraduate so so i'm going to pass for the next three weeks because i i'm prioritizing plans now did you hear what i'm saying and then i'm going to participate in the process i'm going to get my credit report find out what i need to get my credit straight i'm gonna make sure i got a resume that i can begin to send out yes then i'm gonna start putting things in place so i can get my own place because once you get your own place you can do whatever you want do you leave the lights on we won't trust me once you start paying the bills you do it now because you ain't paying the telephone bill and the light bill and the tv bill but when you start paying your bills the tv go off before you go to sleep and like yesterday but you understand you gotta start you gotta start start prioritizing your plan participating in the process only you all that are looking for a mate can i say this and i'm done i promise you i'm good you want you want you want to mate you want the lord to help you find the right one let me can i take this can i dispel something for you stop allowing people to misuse the scripture a woman that findeth the man stop allowing church folk to misinterpret that scripture and say you ought to just sit over in the corner and wait for him it's okay if you see somebody that's handsome somebody you know speak to them introduce yourself give it you know they said you just the woman's supposed to just sit over in the corner with black on in the veil you'll be sitting till you're 80 years old so that's not what the scripture means that's not what it means but let me say this to you for every one of you all that are looking for mate longevity the first thing that you must do is the first thing that you must do is find a mate in yourself find a mate in yourself so that when he or she comes you don't need nothing from them mascara i'm gonna let you go you ain't call me in three hours what you doing say you too needy you need to date yourself first so that if he doesn't call you all day it doesn't matter so be whole within yourself and god will send you prioritize your plan participate in the process i'll start here next week proceed with the presence we'll talk about the presence of the lord that nothing will work for us without the presence of the lord why are we doing this simply because of the last sentence that i read to you god says where i'm about to take you you have never ever been this way before 2020 was necessary for us come on worship team i'm done 2020 was necessary tell yourself it was necessary 2020 wasn't necessary you know why it was necessary it was necessary because it slowed us down it slowed us down yo come on come on 2020 put us put a halt on the busyness of our life and what the lord says is 2021 is going to be the transitional year for 2022 2022 is the year god's going to take the breaks off of your blessing that's why some of y'all showed up today that i hadn't seen in a long time because the lord needed me to tell you don't waste the rest of this year don't don't waste the rest of this year from the rest of august to the end of december work your plan and make start making moves don't hear what i'm saying this is instructional this is pastoral this is not even evangelistic prioritize your plan participate in the process and start making moves that makes sense shake your head because i can't see your lips shake
