Building an Axolotl Aquarium! - Minecraft 1.17 Update

hey how's it going spy here welcome back to another minecraft smp episode and today i am going to be building a fish tank for my little oxalot friend here which you guys named and his name is axey yeah that's kind of a fitting name axey the axolotl right yeah sure all right so we're gonna be heading into the castle here and if you remember one of my previous episodes i had a giant maze down here but i kind of cleared it out and now we have this gigantic empty area and i thought this would be a perfect spot to house my animals especially axie here we're gonna make a giant fish tank that'll be awesome and then we can find axey some friends and maybe maybe they will breed let me know down below in the comments how we get baby axolotls all right so we're gonna have to head over to our chest and we're gonna have to grab some supplies so i already have some glass made somewhat right here and i do have some cobbled deep slate which is a new block we're going to need dirt i guess maybe some foliage for the bottom of our fish tank like kelp and as you can see here i do have some fish for axi because he's gonna need to eat i don't know if he's tamed or not but we're going to see get started somewhere like right here and it's gonna go down a little bit but we're gonna make it so people can't get in and steal axey that would be terrible that'd be terrifying he's an innocent little creature we'll just kind of mismatch it here and there make it look like uh natural formations is or something oh yeah that that looks pretty sick we're gonna have to put the glass up and then the worst part we're gonna have to fill it with water which i don't know how that's going to work so we're just gonna have glass go all the way around so he can swim around have fun i hope he doesn't die in there if he does i'm gonna be super sad but i also want the edges here the new deep slate that will look really cool i should probably throw some glowstone down in here too so it brightens it up but for now check it out now i need to go get a bunch of water and fill it up it sounds like there's someone in my base by the way who is it is it just a villager i hope so hello it's just a villager get out of here this is my throne do i have any glowstone i might need to go to the nether to grab some because i am not seeing some at all well while we're going to the nether i could grab a ton of buckets of water here all right where would glowstone be it should be up top somewhere i should have probably brought some gold equipment so i don't die from the mobs in here oh wait wait we can use these shroom lights that might make it a little more natural looking and there we go we got a bunch of these shroom lights it should look awesome inside the fish tank okay now how do i get out of here is it this way oh no i almost got lost okay let's get out of here let's go back to the castle oh no oh no oh no don't touch me don't touch me a little jerk i'm going i'm going home he's looking at me like what are you doing i just want to be your friend but no he's going to try to murder me and steal axey let's go quick all right let's head down there and get axey's home built or i guess filled with water yeah oh that looks so cool once shaders are able to be used in this new version that's gonna look so good okay one two three and then we go in here and now we just gotta fill this thing with water which might take a while i have a ton of buckets on me though it's looking good so far oh we got like a vortex in the middle might be able to fix that with just some blocks like this and moment of truth i think it worked oh we have a fish tank yay but we need some of these shroom lights uh somewhere we're gonna put some in the walls hurry don't don't drown go go go go go shroom light oh that looks cool boom oh i'm drowning and i do have some kelp to give it some liveliness i don't want too much because it grows a lot i think that's probably good if you want to see me add anything in here let me know down below in the comments what it should be i don't think you could put any animals in with these guys because they eat them but here we go three two one ah he's in his fish tank he loves it that's his home okay now i'm gonna throw in some of these tropical fish but i was told he might eat them here buddy have a fish eat the fish oh oh he's going for the fish he just killed the fish here maybe oh i got a heart from him okay well it looks like he enjoys his home so far i think okay i'm gonna gear up and that's because i'm gonna go find axey a friend okay we have a giant ravine right here oh i see some copper that means this is a newly generated area okay i'm going down oh watch this water bucket i need that though for my axolotls oh i do hear some zombies though right behind this wall and that might lead us to a good cave there we go big cave now we just got to kill these mobs oh geez skeletons so many zombies get out of here jerks just looking for an axolotl friend you picked up an arrow don't take my stuff bam all right let's go in oh there's a creeper don't blow up i wanted him to blow up so he would damage this zombie get out of here jerk boom okay this goes down pretty far do we have an axle bottle buddy there's a spider that that's not what i wanted i guess jerk get out of here eat quick oh there's a skeleton with armor go up go up go up he broke something it was my boats that's what you get take this and that okay i'm just gonna search this cave really fast so what is this the leg tie my thing oh i'm gonna die i'm gonna die don't hit me don't hit me don't hit me oh i don't wanna die i don't wanna die hello skeleton jerk so you get for ganging up on me bam you're dead i seen this here i'm gonna break it because whatever this is i want it so we got a pointed drip stone drip stone block these are brand new oh wow oh we got skeletons and they're fighting yes that's what i want kill each other stupid skeleton jerks who's going to win i think it's going to be the guy at the back there yes i win but you die oh whoa right there do not kill the axolotl do not kill axolotl buddy buddy buddy come on there's two of them there's two axolotls they're different colored i want them all no don't kill me don't kill me i got the axolotl buddies that one's a cool color give me up give me up come here little buddy i'll save you ow he's up there ah no no no eat eat eat so many skeletons i gotta save all them no that one is armor are you serious preventing me from getting my axolotl buddies serious let's grab them and let's go i got two that was my main goal let's go now i just gotta get out of here and i gotta get back home we're risking the lives of our new axonal friends and guess what it is night that sucks up and we're out okay is there uh ocean around here somewhere because i'm gonna need to get some where am i uh i don't know which way's home i'm gonna need to get some more fish to tam them which way do i go i'm so lost maybe if i just go back to zero zero i'll get back home this doesn't look familiar i'm gonna get lost whoa look at this that's cool um still kind of lost though we made it the ocean yeah look we got some fish get give me give me okay there we go you know i'm gonna grab extras just in case we need them for more axolotls get over here you little jerks you're gonna be fed to my little amphibious creatures and now we're home so we just gotta go down to our tank throw these little dudes in and tame them and we got three axolotls look at axie right here is he enjoying his tank i think he is he's just sitting there that's what oxaloles do right they just float around and they just don't do much okay i hope they don't kill each other because they're not tamed but boom we got them tamed so let me know down below what this one should be named and let me get another fish really quick i don't know if they attack each other boom bang and let me know what this one's named we have three ox of bottles wait wait what we got a baby oxolottal are you serious that's all you just feed them fish look at them i guess we need three names for our oxalos that's so cute i might need to build a little ledge here because it looks like they want to jump out and i don't want them to die and boom okay i think that should work our tank is looking fantastic so if you enjoyed don't
