Building a Cape Garage and Carport Complete

so here it is one garage completed Cape 28 by 28 10 foot wide carport on the side nice eyebrow over the top like the background music yeah the backside that a pine door they're going to paint it finish that off lots of room in there vertical vinyl siding you so it's all Ford your power traveling in now it'd be done in another hour so get a floor drain there a lot of commotion going on today we're ready to put the walls up it's a pretty exciting day it's kind of rainy but we have raincoats we're good to go [Laughter] my section of wall three still it cripples to put over the header and some of the one peeved next step I Joyce [Music] we have the upstairs deck on you're gonna do mark out on each side for the rafters we're down to about three more these rafters going up you notice there's no ridgepole we do it a little differently they'll be like the capital a when we're done overhang for a carport on the right side it's our third day here just lay down required for it it's gonna go out here ten feet wide by 28 so now we're getting ready to do the siding we're doing a vertical siding vinyl should look pretty unique kind of going for a barn effect to match the house when they get get that put together so here we go we're starting to do the front got this the doors all trimmed out I might just give you a look it's show you a welcome piloting those excuse my shaky walkie we use a metal coil stock it's four inches wide by four inches wide and we just secure that easily then this is called J channel run that up there trims it out really nicely and we're ready to side it coming along nicely putting the siding on from the carport and presumably boy it looks really sharp today we're going to trim really a hard fit twist those around just really makes it from the house all I want you in it he's camera shy that's all right good guys our site work burying pipes and all and I'm just going to give you a quick tour inside the building ten-foot ceilings you still have to finish the handrails going up the stairs see if I can walk all about this notes tumbling we're gonna build a door for here four foot knee wall it's about a 20-foot wide span from knee walls knee wall lots of room for storage collar ties putting the roofing on today give you another view around here to a modular home for setting that tomorrow six-six module they're all stacked up out here beautiful day to day one garage completed cape 28 by 28 the 10 foot wide carport on the side nice eyebrow over the top like the background music yeah
