Build a $4600 Showcase Rig with AMD - CLX RA PC Build (7950x / 7900XTX)

what is up guys uh I think are you okay yeah yeah I was looking at the screen is it going in there is somebody who have you ever stream before all right not since somebody was like this bro taking a bath I'm like bro don't start y'all don't start y'all we're not home y'all I don't maybe maybe PC Building means something different like peaches like Peach is like yeah we're gonna be taking a bath on this right I'm like yeah we are still working on the bath PC build I think that is what everybody's looking like but PG is here uh and welcome he is here in the studio in Seattle you said it was a little cold it is freezing okay so that was that has upgraded from a little cold too it is freezing so he is he's thinking he's saying it is way more he is uh he is way more and the only two is like so we are here this is the first episode of AMD builds and let me just show you what P like this guy can you feel me yeah yes sir you guys even see me he's like on a red screen he's so AMD uh with uh what he's wearing you're wearing red and black and black like you got like the black socks and everything so you've got like he's got like the whole thing going on yeah and for those of you a robot attack we have new camera so we actually have Josiah live on the new cam so we actually have a roaming cam as well so it's like all of the uh all of the action Happening Here uh all live for everybody going on here but no this is crazy yeah it's it's a it's uh he's he's he's taking in the whole stream um anyway let's start with what are we doing today because so far we have accomplished nothing just like we I think Ray was a little worried we're not gonna get anything yeah um so for those of you who don't know my name is Justin Roby I build PC builds with tons of people and so why I stream three times a week um and we're here on the channel and AMD and uh myself have launched a new a new show and you are the first person on it uh yeah so we tried to get Drake but Drake wasn't available so we got the best Drake look alike that we could get you know so you know yeah okay so we uh we uh that's crazy y'all anyway we started off with uh we started off with PG um and we you know honestly Ray was a little worried and for those who don't know Ray is uh raise our our buddy at AMD um and he was a little worried we're not going to get a PC but we're going to be yeah like joking and having fun which is okay which is okay you know I mean that's that's totally fine with that whatever what's going on there um but we are going to be uh building a PC now the way this works is it's like the best of DIY PCS and some people made like what does DIY mean that means do build yourself which you have done a number of times so like he's built like 15 PCS but the thing is is that we wanted to also showcase uh companies that you can purchase PCS from so today's episode is in partnership with AMD and then also a company called CLX and CLX uh is a um one of the best you know us-based sis and we're going to be building one of their systems so this system if you like the system that PG has you can go buy this exact one and there's links down we'll actually have links in the chat so you we're we're really glad to have you here today uh we're so glad that you joined us nothing ever happened ever this is the first time you've ever seen this show ever and I'm really stoked to have you okay well anyway sorry about that guys well you know you think that I run a tech show and learn how to use my mic so yeah we're gonna get a PC built hopefully okay so now that we're back this package this red and black AMD themed package that they did not pay you for um who so uh my name is TG for those of y'all that don't know I'm a content creator on YouTube well I'm just I'm just concentrating I do a bunch from gaming filmmaking streaming so just a bunch of things yeah yeah but but one thing that let's let's highlight the thing that surprised the crap out of me uh you you make horror films yeah like films that are horrible no horror scary scary no they're they're you can say horrible look you're really selling it right now because the films that I make I intentionally make them like shock Factor yeah like to there's a certain point you know it eases you in and then there's a certain point where your jaw just drops where you're like is is this it's okay to do so yeah you could say horrible so we are going to so I get to watch one tonight and and so and my wife who is now watching as well Mrs robitech she is going to be watching with me now my everybody knows I am not a horror fan so this is going to be like he's like you're going to watch this one because he's here getting to make content with me and he was like Roby I need you to I need you to swallow your pride and help me be scared of horror you know you gotta watch one you gotta watch it you're just gonna hold me right like yeah you know but it's good yeah dude I feel bad that's bad for your back um we're gonna have a we're gonna have a really good time uh and we're gonna be building a really amazing system from CLX this is their CLX raw so if you were gonna pick up a system like this over at clx's website like what do you think like it's very red it's like AMD red and it's got like Flames or maybe that's blood for you you know what do you think it's like taking it Taking It in just you know just some splatters it's the perfect fit for us y'all it is it's got like it's got like pointy edges like knives yeah yeah I mean people die from knives in your movies right yeah a lot how many if you if you were to count up like how many people you've killed in your movies what's your body count a lot a lot no this is not a number I I like I I'll ask really yeah you want to do you want to do a skit or a film you know it's just to Kill Them All it's going to be there like no wonder you've invited me already you're like yes I think that you would be great for one of my movies right just to kill you all just to kill me often to get rid of me um okay so context that's crazy yeah it's uh it's going to be this is going to be an absolutely like epic showcase build but this is not your first PC build you have built PCS before and not small PCS like thread rippers yeah so you've built 15 you said isn't that right yeah so on my journey to wait this on my journey to being uh like a content creator I had to learn you know what I mean so I just my first build I was I was so nervous I just looked up a bunch of like YouTube videos and then after that and I told my friends and family I'm a PC Builder and they were like oh are you serious and I started building it for them yeah I built a lot so for those of you who don't know this is actually the handoff of robitech to PG Tech so today this is where it all starts off this is my last show so today is going to be the beginning of PG team he's gonna be starting off and all that sort of thing I actually get to leave for the whole time I just come back and I get completely surprised we actually haven't finished PC by the time this is all said and done so I think you're ready right absolutely yeah I like the new stuff it's fired yeah okay so we're gonna have a lot of fun let's kick it off though let's kick it off so let's kick it off first with what parts we're gonna put inside of this 0-1-1 Dynamic XL so this is is this what is your what is your current system inside of I mean case wise do you remember uh no I don't know the exact name I know it's okay okay so this will this I mean this will still fit well within your system and stuff like that yeah and we actually have back here here let's go to the roaming camera we actually have back here this is another clo so if you want to see like kind of a preview of what we're looking at here this is very similar to the system we're going to kind of build uh so when it's all said and done now this is obviously got some other stuff to it but just to give you an idea of how beautiful how beautiful his PC is going to look by the time we are all said and done so but we're going to make it look better because it'll be all red in all like themed out for you absolutely okay so let's start with what we're going to put at the core so start it off dude because your first you're a threadripper but we had to make sure this is a system that not only can you use for gaming but you can actually use for Content creation so this is a ryzen 9 is 7950x this is the current highest end like it's basically productivity gaming everything all in one dude everything that you could potentially ever want all in that little box I was looking at you know I was looking at it oh my gosh so yeah it should be an absolutely epic system so this is their latest this is their latest up until like in in and it'll still be the latest because like this is their highest end and then they have their 3D V cash version so they're X 3D versions those are coming out in just a couple weeks so I know people are getting pretty hyped up about those um but for what you need this is actually going to be a lot better because a lot of times you'll definitely need that productivity for video editing and all that sort of stuff and then these still epic Gaming thing because your your gaming system is actually a little dated at this point yeah yeah he was saying he's saying things like it chugs when I play mind sweeper which is I mean that's pretty that's pretty bad my sweeper is crazy but yeah um with my current gaming rig it lags a lot when I try to like uh um edit edit and record so it's like you know this will be perfect and and the best thing about it is like no matter what codec like whether you use h.264 h.265 whatever it was it's such low overhead on such an on such a system like this in we were even looking at like we went and did some like just light benchmarks to show like what kind of upgrade you're talking about 42 I know uplift per core over the threadripper that you are currently using so crazy yeah which I mean dude and it's like that's like a 1600 CPU and this one you can get for like 600 bucks so or a little less than that but yeah still pretty epic deal so it should be Super Rad and then we're gonna pair that with the other coup de gras there it is right there there it is right there the rising oh sorry the Radeon 7900 XTX probably one of the best looking best looking um gpus on the market hands down which is actually cool yes this is live oh sumerical actually this is not live we just have super mental powers and we could tell that you were gonna do that and say that at one point in time so there it is right there um so this is it right here and then if you want to take a look the other thing I like about this like because of your horror like background check it out it's even got like it's got like a little bit of a like a blood swash through it you know what I mean look at that it's like dude look look it's all black and red so let me go to the roaming so you can hold it up for it folks look at that I'm gonna draw I'm gonna I'm gonna let it go get this Hefty look at that card that is just it's just a good looking card heck yeah and it's small it's not like the you know no no it's not like yeah it's not like it's not like any of the big 40 series ones this is a big this is a nice great size card you've got just the standard two eight pins very easy No Mess no fire nothing like that so you're just basically you're good to go this is beautiful so okay so here we go right here very very nice card so that's our GPU now we got to make sure we got all the other parts because I mean unfortunately you just can't if we could just throw this in and be like it works you know you just throw it at it just be like no that's that's not how it works we need some other parts this so we're gonna start with your motherboard this one's from ASRock and again these are we have the the best thing about this is we're going to show you all the parts that go into a CLX system so if you were to push this piece this PC together you could do it this way too um but we're gonna these are the same parts that CLX uses inside of this raw system so this is the ASRock x670e Pro RS this is their x670 board which means you got pcie gen 5. all that sort of stuff everything you could need in terms of overall power and then you of course this is their top-end platform for motherboards and everything like that as well so and productivity again a big one for you given that this isn't just gaming because you could do something like their b650 but this one's got you know it's got the uh you know 14 plus two power phases you've got Gen 5 in terms of you've got ddr5 support and we talked a little bit about ddr5 is not only good for gaming but it's especially good for rendering because you get twice the bandwidth and you have how much RAM on your current system 254 or 56. that's that's like so much RAM like what do you do with that much RAM well he actually uses it so now I mean the great thing about ddr5 you got 24 gig dimms 48 gig dims and so even you don't even need a workstation level PC on a standard desktop PC you can put 192 gigs of RAM which is more than enough RAM for you yeah yeah yeah you know and plus on top of that with Gen 5 you can take over 2 trillion Kitty gifts or gifs if you're crazy and you can transfer them almost instantly and actually on the next PG stream he's going to be doing that counting out two trillion Kitty gifts and doing that manually when is that stream happening and that's the one question is going to be playing on that too right yeah yeah it's gonna be awesome I just I can't wait for you guys who's ready to watch that look they're taking notes there you go yeah people are really excited about that do a Lipa and Drake partnering up right here it's gonna be pretty huge guys that's the last one I can't I'm out I can't do it anymore man you got some people really excited that was actually the whole point of this stream was just to get you guys really excited about this next time just to Hype that one stream up it's gonna be pretty incredible and I mean she's dropping a new album it's gonna be amazing all on your stream special guest I know and you're gonna and they're and she's gonna be singing on top of this PC it's like a stage with the RGB lights yeah I'm messing my PC man she's like you are Uninvited you can no longer come you cannot mess in my my PC okay um for our Ram because we talked about this we got 32 gigs of ddr5 this is Kingston Fury this is a 6000 Mega transfer so nice idea nice ideal um for uh 7 000 Series ryzen so huge shout out to Kingston obviously and then again with CLX because that's they're a great partner of ours um storage dude oh yeah four terabytes four terabytes of 980 Pro Storage these have been updated with the latest firmware so we don't have any of that pesky issue or anything like that guys so four terabytes 7 000 megabits per second that is a lot of cops that is crazy that's crazy fast yeah so it's uh it's four terabytes that is like that is almost an entire install of Call of Duty but you can you can almost put Call of Duty on both your drives yeah actually it's funny because like people make fun of Call of Duty but if you want to make fun of somebody Forza Horizon 5. that game is like 192 yeah right right yeah so like I don't understand like all the hate going to like the Call of Duty fans but man Forza I think Forza and uh flight Sim haven't beat you know what I mean so uh yeah there we go four terabytes of storage uh which should be absolutely uh which should be absolutely crazy um we do have some RGB fans dude because we all know that if you're gonna have if you're gonna get all the frames you have to have RGB so we have ten 10. that's a lot of airflow dude 10 of these aeolus MDOT these are their these are their RGB fans you can see them but like we showed them a little bit off in the other CLX system a little bit earlier uh they're gamma Diaz um these are crazy um they got lots of RGB lighting all that sort of stuff for now we'll make it red but then you can like yeah it's 10 minutes dude 10 fit in there one in the back three in the bottom three in the top three on the side you got that yeah yeah yeah you're wiring all of it me yeah dude you've done 15 PCS I've done like this would be my third one I mean you're more of a PC voter than I am bro you bring your helicopter somebody says we're gonna bring all the helicopters it's gonna be absolutely insane um we also need you're not you got to make sure you power it so a thousand Watts this thing is not light I just threw that and like I was like you know what I mean like here you go it's like it's not like damn yeah it's a thousand watts of power so that's more than enough power for 7900 XTX even your 7950 if you wanted to use like the auto overclock or anything like that just to get your that little bit of extra power this is EVGA probably one of my favorite PSU companies so um you know and this is a gold rated PSU which I love to see from a system integrator like what we have from CLX so uh this should be pretty dang rad and have plenty of power um right here and the like the Radeon and the and the CPU they don't use a lot of power consumption within their smooth Jam huh no no so that was one of the things yeah that's right because you were at the Radeon launch it's like big thing for them is about power efficiency in fact you can get like non-x versions of these CPUs um that use like 95 Watts um but the good thing is is with overclocking and stuff like that the one thing that also they that AMD did say is that for like third party like 7 900 xdx's they did not limit the amount of power you could put through it so like you can get a sapphire Nitro 7900 XTX that's like a 500 watt card that you can then overclock because I mean again you're just you can be absolutely crazy you didn't want to for the enthusiasts they didn't want them to feel like they're limited yeah yeah so you can sit there and like straight up like Frankenstein this PC like just jam it with like lightning rods and like have well have your have him stand out there and hold the light you don't want to get hurt but he's yeah he's doing that he's like you know what he's completely Expendable it's totally fine man there's people wanting to rob you damn he's like let's Rob him while he's gone okay I gotta build it first y'all dang yeah we caught you we see what you were saying there's not gonna be any robbing the cheese guys so we are gonna so we have plenty of power for this and then the last thing we got is we got to make sure we cool it uh 7900 XTX is a very interesting sorry 7 900 7950x is an interesting um CPU because what it does is AMD has made the technology so um so advanced in their CPUs that what it does is it tries to run at Max temp all the time and then obviously the more power it gets obviously the core clocks all those sort of stuff men so 95.1 if you have a really good um if you have a really good AIO like this Glacier one um from phantax uh then you end up with uh you end up with a better cinemat score better rendering all that sort of stuff so uh pairing it with a really good um uh really good AIO like this is just a great example 360 millimeter eio phantix makes really really good stuff so this is a good choice for your cooler and then we got to use some cables oh so that so you know just keeps going all right it's all red okay I don't know I don't know your favorite color you're wearing red right now it is now it is now it is now hey guys officially if you are like looking on Tinder and you see pgs It'll say under favorite color red red it is now yeah it is now it's all red that's what it is so that's it hey macca says aye that's my AIO so when so with this yep saying it's safer to overclock yeah so so that's the thing is like and even the best thing is like the crazy thing is like if you don't overclock it or run at 95 if you do overclock it'll run at 95. so you it's just what it does is it just says hey I'm gonna try and run it at Max temp yeah it's completely okay for the CPU AMD was very very clear about that that's just kind of how things go with their higher end stuff and yes you can overclock with a 360 millimeter AIO so I mean this has got lots of radiator space and if you want to you could actually hire other people to just blow in your PC like you they get really tired so it's it's pretty expensive you know what I mean like those guys who like like spin signs yeah the chat they keep doing five mil chill then so he wants to know how much is that an hour so just so you guys know if you want uh he is hiring uh it's currently sitting at 20K an hour so if you want a game God chill y'all uh positions are open uh if you want to just slide into his DMS he's looking for really [Laughter] let me quit my job right now it's crazy it's funny because he when he said he has 1.5 mil it just means in his wallet when he tight when he get to his like his money bin and stuff like that which I got a tour of like earlier on it's pretty crazy when I got picked up in his Bentley it was Super Rad like I was like man and so he just uh yeah he's he's really good he's hey great stream y'all great stream y'all [Laughter] oh man uh yeah the only thing is is that if you want to apply for this job you have to have a master's degree in rocket science okay uh civil engineering okay uh computer science uh uh Quantum mathematics and you have to be able to break the space time continuum those are just the minimum requirements minimum minimum so that's just just somebody's like I got that dang I tried it okay I tried it I tried to get I tried to get you out of it I got all those things stop y'all don't stop Google is never wrong okay so that's all that's all the parts feels like feels like a pretty good system wouldn't you think he's like a beast it decided I think it's I think this is going to end up being really really rad like we did um let's go ahead and start uh getting everything ready to start putting it together okay well I don't what do you what do you audience chat the fine folks who are on the other side of the the internets and the interwebs where should we start you guys want us to start with like putting all of the fans in and then we'll get into the PC Building part or do you think we should start with like the really sexy putting everything in the in the motherboard first and then do the fans later when you're bored and want to go to sleep what is the GPU they say put in the CPU first Roby I think the good question for PG is what are the speakers for the PC oh speakers do you have like some like really high-end speakers cheap you know I think ten dollar ones from Amazon y'all since 2013 I kept them I'm not trying to upgrade them y'all uh DJ techno wanted to know hey are we using the fan text fans are we going to be we're going to be using the this is going to be built the CLG way so we're not going to be using the stock fans that come with the phantix we're going to be using the um the gallimis uh uh RGB fans so that's a good question everybody's saying motherboard um and all that there's by the way huge shout out thank you very much for Subs on both sides really appreciate the know whose fault it is ha dang dang okay let's go to top down let's start giving these guys a view of this sexy uh the sexy motherboard and then we'll keep this do you know what's crazy so I know I know years ago I don't I don't know if it's still like a thing but right when I started uh building you know 2013 yeah remember it was a big thing uh people were scared to touch it without like a a oh the uh yeah the famous the famous uh the Livestrong bracelet yeah so so here's a deal a lot of people just need to know that oh I just threw that on the gimbal uh yeah that was a that was a nice expensive uh drop there um so uh people are asking static so is static a big thing um we have a special flooring here on in our studio that is that that helps prevent that um the other thing too is a lot of times if you're going to build here I'll just take that we make a pile start making a pop oh don't hit the gimbal I guess um what we start doing is um you don't necessarily have to worry all that much about it these are actually very shielded and actually Linus a number of us have made videos to show just how hard it is to fry something like this using like static electricity so you're you're not really having to worry all that much um just by building a PC if you build the thing is if you're going to build on carpet that'd be a bigger issue but if you're gonna build like a kitchen or on a table or something like that as long as you're wearing shoes and you're not basically doing dumb stuff yeah yeah I mean you're gonna be fine okay so have you ever um no and I've built I think I think at this point time I met over 300 PC so I've never never in all my time and I wear we're wearing socks right now and we've built hundreds here in the studio and have never had that problem okay that's a great question that's that's a great question now PG may be the first you know what I mean we hope not I mean like that's where we're going from there okay so we're gonna have some fun here don't don't take that off here okay let me let me show you the fun thing you can you can pop that open just like you were doing you're good there okay but here once you grab yourself press the yeah so what we'll do is we'll just open this up what you were doing and go and pop your socket in there you sure I'm sure I'm not gonna lie to you and look you've seen like you've seen my story we're good we need more we got we got enough to like some of the this is nerve-wracking okay so we go in there then just put it down put the lid down you sure yeah I'm sure spit the lid down and then dump then just like kind of yeah now don't hold yeah and then you can just be able to there you go just like that and then now start closing it let's see how it go how high I guess that's crunching oh I didn't go very high because I I you know yeah you were you were a little you were a little tepid you were a little tepid I was kind of nervous you're a little nervous like it was like something's gonna go wrong but you know what we're okay everything's fine we're gonna we're gonna be okay we got it we got it all squared yeah but I mean like then this is your first 7 000 series install right like that was pretty good yeah how you feeling you feeling okay you need to stretch a little bit it's been kind of timid you're feeling kind of straight you're feeling kind of timid here why don't we I can beat that oh well you know what a brick is so we've got here we've got our decibel meter right here so we heard it is our decimal this will actually measure how many so you can do stuff like hey so that was 112. you know what I mean so we're going from there what's the highest highest that we've got is 10 106. it's like been crazy hot what'd you do hit it with a hammer no no no but I'll show I'll show you some technique so we're gonna pause the music because people like people get very serious about this okay we got the channel points thing is going on right now we're gonna put this out in the top here so people can see the overall score we'll zoom out a little bit so you guys can actually see that there we go okay so here's our there's our thing right there and I'm going to show you my technique and then we'll let you do one okay but the thing is 95 so we're gonna let that Ram click go here you want to go the quieter the better no the louder the better that's the win oh yeah so yeah you're like trying to hammer it down no no yo you'll see you'll see okay so uh predictions are almost done where predictions are almost finished here we go okay prediction's done go like this then we'll put it like this we'll see how that goes that was 96. talk about the PCI Lanes oh let's go to the top down so people can I'm like top pointing at stuff and people like what is he talking about uh so when you think about it there are actually lanes that are done by your uh motherboard and lanes that are on your Dr on your actual CPU okay so usually the top one is actually one of the CPU ones people have said that typically it has been faster um in most cases it's like negligible at this point in time the one thing that is important is as you start to use more in vme slots it does start to do things like split Lanes Etc so the best thing to do is just to start and when I say split Lanes like you could have something where this is a buy 16 slot and it turns to a buy a slot when you put something in like the fifth and sixth slots so the best thing to do is just to stick your drives in the top too because you have the least amount of chance of turning a lot of other things well I didn't even see this one yeah this is but we'll use this one yeah yeah I don't even know why so why are you taking that one up you know like I didn't even see this one yeah we should use that one I'm gonna take this one off okay it's your PC that's fine another better oh and I got this thing this is my new favorite toy so what's that check it out it's a magnet okay so you're like that way you don't lose that way it's like so we don't lose that people have no supposed to take it off but you're you're gonna there there's enough thermal transfer that it still would have uh dissipated heat but we found it it's all good it's all good we you can't you're We're that a lot of people don't know is sometimes coolers don't get put on evenly and so if you don't cover the entire IHS with thermal paste then if you take it off you don't actually know if it's act so it could be because you didn't apply enough thermal paste so by covering the whole IHS you can ensure because you have a full print of the CPU where you might actually have a hot spot or you have a thinness so that's why we actually end up doing it this way look at that look dude he is Bob Ross look at that right there guys I just know there's going to be air bubbles that's a lot of churning if you think there's going to be air bubbles in that stuff guys you guys are watching science like Bill Nye ain't got nothing on this right now nothing right now like you guys you are literally learning because we're using am5 this is the uh one that's going to be up and then what you're going to do is you're just going to take this long bit and stick it in like that okay so you're just gonna stick that in like that and then you screw that over each one of these okay there you go look at us we're helping we're helping each other right now each other yep so wait so you just put this in oh I see and then it just screws down yeah we just got to make sure the slotted one is up and that's just how they make sure that it's actually the right height does the last thing have a torque stopper so you don't strip screws or tighten so dc5 Goose ask dot dc5 Goose asks a good question the answer is no um the what you want to do is you actually so like for screws like your motherboard you'll see when we actually get to the motherboard installation we don't do that um we actually uh we actually wait where are we supposed to do with this let me show you because it's not screwing in all the way it's not supposed to It's supposed to it's just supposed to just yeah it's just supposed to go to the end like this and then this this header oh no you have to have that you have to have the black thing on because that's actually what keeps it to go the right height yeah that's a good question no that's a good question no no you were you were you were keeping my toes um so dc5 boost you know it doesn't so like when you'll see him install his motherboard we'll actually use just a standard screw main reason being is that you want to be light on the touch when you're doing the uh screws so that way you don't do things like strip or um um uh what's the word um yeah you don't want to cross thread yeah yeah so yes huh what do you mean huh that was a very clear answer what are you talking about I only split it between five minutes of random stuff in between I feel like that was like very clear what I just said everybody here is nodding their hands like I know what's going on yeah strip them yeah crazy person okay we're just making sure the motherboard's all 100 ready to go so if you want to grab those four screws and pop them in there then we'll put this in your motherboard box and then we'll go from there uh strip or I wasn't thinking strip I was thinking cross thread where because if you cross thread them and then you try to remove your motherboard um you try to remove your motherboard what will happen is that the standoff will get stuck and then you won't like you'll have to use a wrench and stuff for your standoff so it's just a way of being a little bit more light touch with your with your uh materials okay okay here we go we've got this ready let's put this away and now it's time to grab your case so if we want to put this away and then it's time to actually guys it's the rated PG-13 portion of the show uh if you have any kids in the room you might want to put them away you don't have that conversation we're going to be taking it Taking we're gonna make a naked case won't come all the way out there captive so then you just pull it up it's just yeah oh you have to unlock it there's a little there's a little yeah from memory there we go okay so let's put this over here okay there's your dust filter okay now if you want to go over here we can oh actually these it's just very easy just lift up oh wow yeah so you just lift up on that front back panel there we go live straight up you're not quite it's still not a little bit oh there you go perfect look at that I mean look at how good a job they did like that panel is really nicely done they did a really good job like nice nice quality printing okay uh lift up on the glass just lift straight up same as the same as what you did on the other side oh wow yeah it just makes it really easy to get into it yeah it's very easy to get into that's why a lot of people love this case okay and then same thing with the front glass just lift up what the heck yep okay we almost have a stripped we almost have a stripped Liam Lee case so now what we're going to do is we're going to put it down on its face yeah this is a mid Tower or is it this is a full this I think it's a it's an XL so I'd consider it a full going to remove this screw and then we're going to remove these screws okay and then we'll put them on our little screw mat which we got right here because this is stuff that like this the one thing about cases is cases are a little bit different like even though you have a very good idea about PC Building cases you always just have to learn when you first take another part because you're like oh I don't remember how this one goes in there yeah guys I hope okay you guys can go and bring your kids back in like we've done the stripping part so like now they're just like oh look at that it's it's a 710 you know so it's it's nice and clean so what is this panel exactly so you'll see what this panel is is this is the panel that shows like that hides all the cables so you were saying that you're like the world's best cable manager and we're really excited to show that off I mean okay so here I'll show you a neat little tool I have for this when it gets annoying you've got a magnet yeah use that sometimes I don't remember which one of the screws there's two sets of screws here they made it better in the 011 Evo yeah but in this one they didn't so we're gonna remove the screw underneath oh those okay yeah those so what are these uh those actually hold in the holder that holds it so you'll see it yeah the other one perfect we're just testing we're just trying to make sure this is we're done with robitec that's not a thing so um okay so we have all of this stuff here these are all the cables we got to worry about later we'll undo those but we basically have a stripped case if you want to flip it over use those muscles so okay and then what we're going to do is go ahead and lay it oh yeah we're going to put it we'll put the motherboard in because that's what everybody wanted so let's go to top down let me find this we had a box they got brought up did we see where the box of screws is did that come up too it was on top of the box that when you brought the PC up it's not here it might still it might still be downstairs on the table okay okay yeah okay so if you want to go ahead and pop that inside that has all the hardware in it okay there we go hold on should we remove this or no no that's actually that's a oh is there is there a peel on it uh no no no yeah you're good that's an integrated layout are you used the ones which you have to like yeah this one you do not have to do that no this one is just an integrated i o Shield so just pop like once you get it on the the part you'll you'll be good to go just pops right in there it won't it won't click in or anything you just gotta line it up with the screws oh okay okay I think I see oh wow perfect okay now we have yeah it makes it a lot easier doesn't it okay now you got all your screws sir okay so let's get your motherboard screws out and then we'll use this screwdriver for that this is it so we'll want it's in here let me find them this is always like a a turkey shoot and you'll have to put in a number of them yeah we're not gonna use the wow stick for this guys I know people are excited but we're just going to use the the regular ways of doing it that is a beautiful beautiful worried so CLX uh somebody's asking seal who CLX is the company that we're building with right now so this is a CLX pre-built system uh CLX just did me the did me the the kind of letting me actually build the entire PC with PG oh you don't have to build enough that yeah you're not you don't you can ignore that one okay uh with PG um so we're uh we're essentially building the exact same system you could order from CLX this is their raw um their raw pre-built that you can uh customize the same way that he has and we got left two one one more left all right yeah instructions unclear smoking thermal paste that is not good for you and could potentially kill you so uh if somebody could get over to his house I would like to know oh the master smooth is saying hey I'm wanting to learn how to build a quantum computer you know what's funny we were going to build that today uh but unfortunately it just it's not really good for uh it's not really good for video editing yet so we're trying it's like it's going to just look that much better I mean Horizon zero Dawn Horizon West all those games just look way better on PC so I kind of want to just like play it as intended I guess is almost the way that I've said it I don't know guys what a chat what do you think you think I'm being too snobbish and if you are no because aren't you guys uh giving away Uncharted we are we're giving away gonna come here no they're up here because remember we got to install the AIO the cooler is going to go right here okay yeah those will be the last three fans they'll be attached to the cooler does that make sense yeah you don't no no yes whatever gets me the whatever gets done the AIO has its own fans but we're not going to use those we're going to use them now why don't you because they're well it's just because CLX wants to use RGB so we're gonna use the CLX you could like there is no reason not to like you could still works the same it'd still be the same okay yeah all right you want more RGB yeah that's what you want absolutely so yeah I mean it's there are performing they're obviously your performance differences between non-rgb and RGB fans but I mean given what you're doing here um it's not it's not enough for it to be a concern wait there is yeah RGB actually most RGB fans perform slightly worse so even for cooling but given that you have I mean like again you have three so many yeah yeah but yeah I don't wanna I mean like the thing is is somebody who does and test this stuff all the way fans can matter um but uh for what you're doing it's going to be absolutely fine you don't have many issues and CLX tests this stuff pretty heavily too so okay what we're doing right now is we're actually gonna hide we're hiding a cable behind the motherboard so that way you just can't see it like that see and so you just don't see that run there so there you go that's crazy so now you got that you can't see that and then we'll it's black and so we'll have the AIO there too and so that will not be visible either that is Sleek okay so we are here okay so for folks who don't know just want to take a quick moment because we keep having people pop through while we're uh um motherboard we got 32 gigs of Kingston Fury ddr5 Ram uh we've got nine or sorry 10 uh of these crazy RGB fans we're using a fan text Glacier uh 360 millimeter AIO and then of course all of this we've got four terabytes of uh 980 Pro uh storage as well so when absolutely Beast PC again you can check this this is called the CLX raw so if you wanted to check this exact system out we have a link for that as well but beautiful system we're building with PG who has actually built PCS before um and then at the end we're gonna we're turning on we'll uh see based on time we might do some benchmarking play a little game and then we'll call it a night so that's kind of the the whole deal we do have some game codes to give away we're gonna give away copies of Uncharted uh we're gonna have left is our cooler uh then we'll we'll install like our cable extensions and then lastly the uh the last part is basically uh powering it up and and turning it on once we put our GPU in so it's coming along nicely thank you it's looking really really good so it should be fun it is it is looking pretty and you guys it is going to be very impressive when we turn the thing on finally at the end there's always a nerve wrecking every time like the first power it it does it is funny because we actually have I mean you watched the one episode like remember the last one it actually turned on but the PC didn't post and we ended up spending a bunch of time uh well we will not have that problem on this one yeah but the other thing too is we have like I will let you guys know we've already tested it's already got games on it we've put all that stuff in there so that way when it does turn on it will look nice and pretty and all that sort of stuff so uh we'll get the it will be RGB puke but we'll make it turn red when we're we're here and make it look final so it looks it looks all good at the end so yeah there's lots of Lights which means over a bajillion new frames uh as well okay so we have all of our stuff hooked up now we just have a couple uh we're gonna go ahead and hook up our fans the last one three all right well no we're gonna we're gonna hook up the fan oh oh so figure out where to run these yeah okay so these are our fan hubs so we have so we have we can do looks like eight fans yeah eight fans per Hub so we can actually hook all of these fans to one and then what we'll do so let's hook all these up and then you're just gonna plug each one of them in sequential order and then we'll find out where we can place this uh place this fan up and we'll actually use it we'll actually keep this one separate because we'll do that with the AIO so these are all the fans and they're just yeah luckily it's only one cable per fan sometimes you get more white cases do look good hey Igor thank you for the two gifted Subs man appreciate it ghost punter asking us to do a hydrate he did one I'll do one here in a second guys hydrate is there ever too many fans um the question really comes down to where too many fans can be something is if you're worried about noise uh but you can't have too many fans to like realistically um I'm sure there is a case I mean I have seen one where there's like 40 because somebody just made a whole case out of fans um yeah they just did a case of fans and it was just like literally rows of fans um I've done a build um actually by one of our one of our commission builds that we actually did I think it had I think it had 24 fans um it was like because there were there was three there was six on every radiator because it was a push pull for everyone and then it just dude it was it was massive are we putting uh this one as well Yep this one this one and this one those are the last those will be the last ones I think is that led let's not put put it on the fan ones not in the yeah oh yeah you did okay my bad my bad uh I did it I shouldn't have done it I built an AC okay is that like is that like you built an AC unit or being so independently wealthy has just really opened up a lot of doors for us I wouldn't be able to do it without rain hahaha honestly at this point in time you know you know it's it's really good it's it but no that was a really good the 7900 xdx has been a real win uh especially for the the value um what you get uh for performance like 4K all that sort of stuff it has been it is a beast of a system and uh the one thing that actually makes it really easy especially if you're like like say you don't want to build a PC you're not like a PC Building Genius Like PG uh you they're actually this really awesome um AMD Advantage Pro uh AMD Advantage desktops where they basically ensure that they have the best noise the best cooling uh the best like they're like it's like getting into an Audi right like oh you get into like a Ferrari I mean Ferrari is cheap for you but I mean like if you were gonna get into a Ferrari uh you'd like just know the performance is gonna go I mean like not all of us can do like Bugattis that are in 24K 24 karat gold you know what I'm saying but um hey so how y'all doing how y'all doing how's your day going yeah I mean it's yeah I'm just yeah I'm I'm enamored I'm enamored yeah just is just manifesting the money for me that's it right right it's sufficient it's awesome manifesting it right now I'm like I'm making it appearing in a while we're just manifesting it we're manifesting it that's what we do it's a good what's a good price range for a PC that can do it all uh oh let's see oh that's a really tough question because doing it all it means a lot of stuff yeah Quantum Computing about 2.8 million uh but if you're talking about forget you know honestly I'd say a nice mid-range system uh anywhere between 15 and 2500 actually will do a lot um especially at 1440p 1080p when you start getting into like 4K that's when you start to see like the price has a tendency to go up how about for streaming someone that wants to just get into streaming I honestly I mean most of the like any of the new right like any even a ryzen 5000 series like if you did like a 5800x and x3d the the impact and cost on CPU is so low that it just doesn't mean as much anymore so I mean like you can do a lot and the other thing too is a lot of uh you know a lot of the uh uh gpus can help with that work as well but I mean if you're gaming and streaming you're talking about like say for instance if you're getting like 1440p uh like with a 7900 xdx or even a 7900 XT or a 6950 which is like I mean 6950s you can get for like sub like sub 600 bucks I think sometimes right now it's like really good prices you can really do a lot um with those systems for not a lot of money that can handle you might look at like you know 10 frames a 10 frame difference in terms of your overall uh performance when streaming which I mean when you're taking like two 300 frames on fortnite that's nothing yeah get a name so all great questions guys and hopefully we're answering them and giving you the stuff that you need okay sorry guys this is always the slow part where you have to like slowly put all of the stuff together to make it to make it um now let's go to top down so you can actually see what I'm doing Cable Management I'm cable managing this right now but it's looking it's the leak so we're just making sure all these fans kind of oops know this is a while back so uh we ended up going to like some mountains because you know perfect setting we we rented out this old 1950s vehicle okay perfect for you know the what were we trying to you know it was a 19 1950s film okay and so we went out in the mountains we was like okay so we could shoot everything over here we had a generator a light took everything out there so we go inside of these mountains we park next to this old Toyota right this Toyota's there you know we we all Camp up there check out this Toyota we're like why is this Toyota here you know it's locked there's a I peek my head and there's a car driving off the cliff into our set so I'm like what that it's two in the morning it's it's pitch black all we see is headlights right so we're like what the hell he right before he falls into this ditch he gets out and this dude is bleeding like his face is just bleeding what and we're like what the hell so we're scared because we're like what's happening with that and we don't have a permit to film we're in we're in LA and La they're very very strict for filming oh really we're like yeah you're like you need a film's permit so we're like oh so this guy he ends up literally walking off into the darkness because the only light that was you know lighting the set was our generator with with our our Moonlight it was you know the daylight uh so he literally walks away we're gonna caught on the cops because we're like okay so there's like a random guy so he ends up the cops in the coming they're actually cool with us filming I was like oh shoot cool they end up Towing that uh car away so that was day one day two we go back to the same location the Toyota is gone oh that's good so again 2 A.M hits the cops come again and then they tell us that they found a person inside of that car that we were in that same site behind that Toyota y'all so we were filming yeah there was a per like a dead person yeah what right in that in that Toyota like real yeah we have we had this document and everything so then the so we filmed that night then the third night we go back out we go deeper into into the mountains and it's like 4am our generator dies because it needs gas and we didn't bring extra gas for it again that's the only light source that's Shining Light in our film set and then we hear a goddamn mountain lion bro I I am scared shitless I'm like why do we do this like why do we do this you know so yeah that was just and the thing is every single one of our films because we again we just want it done and we want it the most authentic so we really we go above and beyond like and and hire people to really try and kill you you know that's what it takes that's a dude that's a story yeah that's that's uh that's legit okay so we got all easy they put they are to do to put on so we can just put this off to the side so AIO what's the AIO stands for all in one it's an all-in-one liquid cooler this is short of it and what this just means is that there is a radiator this is all filled with a water glycol mix and then the water runs through it's cooled by the fans and that's how it basically cools The Cools the PC one thing that's nice about aios over water cooling uh sorry over air cooling is that these have a tendency to be quieter for an air cooler usually to really deal with a really hot CPU they have to run really fast this can run at lower RPM which means it's quieter and you're not going to get it so that's it is even though you have nine fans it's going to sound like a jet engine no it won't but point being is that um you uh you you can do it you can do less let's use less power for cooling okay are you trying to do you have an ice or no I was just curious if you tried nice you got to try the ices the ice yeah I have still um 10 minute test we'll just go and run a CPU multi-core bring up our temps here there we go starting that test temps are starting to go up there it goes like I said 95. like it's supposed to so this is actually doing what it's supposed to do it still has a fan curves that should still be fine 93 so still good within temps and then boom [Laughter] it's above a threadripper in terms of just and this is a multi this is actually a multi-threaded processor right and it's like crazy so you're looking at like that's just giving you a step in terms of what this thing is capable of that is beautiful yeah so it is a quick boy and again temperatures are right even though it says this it does not thermal throttle that is not what it's actually doing uh the way thread rippers are the way that 7950x is run is they run at the hottest they possibly can um and then what they're doing is they basically just Mass it change their boost cost Etc um but obviously the better you're cooling like if we had a better fan curve on this there's no fan curve or anything right now then obviously we'd get actually even higher cinebench scores but you're not seeing the cinebench drop or anything like that so it's just giving you an idea of how good a system like this is so that's that's the boring stuff though that's the boring stuff like hey that was for my audience they love this stuff it's always good you are a workstation thing so I just want to show you versus the threadripper like this is crazy it's a great system right it's crazy okay so let's go ahead and just let's let's pop open
