Bug discovers where chicken eggs come from

[Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] okay let's put pom-poms eggs in the incubator and we can have the silkies eggs for breakfast that's a good idea let's go [Music] here we are okay this is our incubator it's a machine that creates the perfect conditions in order for our fertilized polish eggs to hatch let's put them very gently okay good job bug now let's cover this I'm glad my eggs are safe and sound Auntie because last week my dogs kept stealing them oh yeah they ate two eggs last week no wonder they are looking plump nowadays awesome [Music] now let's bring out an egg to check countdown it takes 21 days of incubating for an egg to hatch today is day one we will add a sticker in each egg as the days pass while our eggs are in the incubator [Music] [Music] thank you handling is the process of flashing a light onto the eggs so that we can see its progress [Music] for candling eggs now let's candle an egg put the egg here then we turn on the light oh we don't see much because it's only day one [Music] according to our life cycle chart the egg should have some veins let's recreate our dark room before candling our eggs hopefully we'll see some veins [Music] oh there it is there's spider web looking veins yes we see some veins guys that means our egg is starting to make a little bird how very exciting stuff we'll come back again on day 10 we will see the chick moving inside the egg foreign [Music] guys we have good news and we have sad news out of the four eggs we incubated only three survived but do you want to tell them the good news the good news is eight eight more eggs we were even able to take a video of Pom-Pom laying an egg She lays one egg per day now I don't know why she laid it in the middle of the coop though I guess she wants to be part of her video okay now it's time for here in the dark room let's start handling the dead ends first we call this the crater egg because it quit developing [Music] do you see anything moving no there are no movements and there's hardly any veins so it's definitely a quitter let's get rid of this quarter egg now let's check the live eggs foreign [Music] this one's alive because there's slight movement inside and I see some veins I hope this egg will make it till day 21 well that's it for day 10. now it's time for exciting news we've built up it's a war place for Julie hatched chicks to grow I think there's enough space for up to 30 chicks in here let's start decorating but can you help me help let's praise the masking tape nice and straight [Music] now that we have our guidelines we can start painting foreign [Music] all right [Applause] [Music] I made the feet orange because it's cuter like that this is where the chick feed is going to be next the chick house thank you we are using these Fallen old wood bark as a roof of our chick house foreign ER there my brooder hood is almost ready so kids it's now time to start adding bug designs we're using this technique called rubber stamping I'm adding brown paint on these rubber stamps here you go back [Music] wow it's nice now let's fill this all up with this pattern [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] now we're done bug screw their Hook is finally ready yay come on 10 more Skies 10 more days till happy today is day 15. [Music] on day 15 we installed the heat lamp [Music] you have to make sure that the temperature is just right so our soon to hatch chicks it needs to be around 32 to 35 degrees Celsius after that we counted an egg for the final time wow bird vessels can clearly be seen at this stage and the dark Mass inside looks bigger and the chick is moving he's really active oh I can't wait for the hatching day [Music] are you ready to meet your cheeky Samba foreign [Music] we added six new eggs here from Hong Kong these will also take 21 days to hatch let's transfer the chicks in our border [Music] foreign
