what up fam it's your boy g rich i'm back in the kitchen today fam yes it's look it's finally cold here in jacksonville it's in the 30s and i'm loving every bit of it yes yes sir i mean man it's like when i went out there this morning and i was like i said there it is see that's the kind of cold i know that a lot of y'all up north and uh midwest i used to but man i tell you we'll be craving for some colders down here and i know y'all be craving for a lot more eat look man we gotta give and take this thing but anyway so today so what's a good food to eat when it's cold and stuff like this some kind of a stew yes sir so i'm gonna make today brunswick stew i know a lot of you people out there know about brunswick stew i didn't no i didn't down here i ain't doing nothing about it it's my first time making and i know it's gonna be good i start hearing all the ingredients that go into it and you know that you're gonna put into it there's several different ways you can make it a lot of people was throwing stuff at me different kind of stuff i said no means that then my mind like yeah i can use that so what i'm going to do is use two different types of meat in my brushwood stew and i'm about to show you all in a minute but look man hey this is a good meal you can cook for your family home-cooked meal um especially when it's cold and everybody a lot of people love stew but this brunswick stew yes it has changed the game i'm just not learning about it so i'm gonna give my version on it shout out to miss barbara walker bobber walker for bringing it to my attention and shout out to georgia uh georgia cooking for the soul yes i took uh i took uh i got like most of her ingredients so this is most of her ingredients and then of course you know give rich got to put his spin on to make it my own yes sir i advise you to do the same because it look the greens that go in there it sounds like it's it looks like it's good so i know it's gonna be good when my seasoning in it you're gonna like a g rich style also yes sir so hold on tight i'll be right back okay fam so what i got right here i just put i got four thick pieces of boneless skinless chicken breasts yes sir so i got that going in there and i have a four pound of pork butt four pounds of pork butt meat i'm gonna go ahead and sit down right in there also boil it together it can per per of um georgia cooking for the soul she bought it together and then make a broth out of it it's gonna be good but i'm gonna add my flavor some of my seasoning in there right now only two i'm gonna put one tablespoon of salt and one fourth of a cup of chicken bouillon yes sir now i'm gonna let this boil it's gonna take about four hours so i'm gonna let this boil about four hours until the meat starts coming off the off the uh to the meat sides or uh falling off the bone that's in that uh pork butt and then i'm gonna start pulling the meat and stuff off of it and shredding the chicken up and everything it's gonna it's gonna be good i'm gonna save the broth i'm gonna take take the meat out take it out i'm gonna save the broth that's left in there and then i'm gonna add all kinds of other uh ingredients and and stuff to it corn et cetera we're gonna i'm gonna show you what i'm gonna put in there besides the meat okay so hold on tight i'll be right back i'm gonna cover this and let this cook for four hours but while it's cooking i'm gonna show you what i'm gonna put in there all right fam here you go now let's see all the ingredients that i have set out right here okay i'm explaining to you in a minute as you can see i got bernice on fleek yeah it's going down over here to the left anyway these are the ingredients that i'm going to use and um if you see some ingredients that you use on yours that's good for you this is what i'm going to stick with and um i'm going outside of my own principles with this cream cream style corn y'all know i don't do cream scotch green style corn if you know g rich you know i don't care for a crazy style corn that's a refrigerator fan so you hear that noise right there but anyway okay so this is what i have this is what's going in my brunswick stew yes sir okay as you know what's what's in the meat you know what what kind of meat i got okay i cut up six potatoes that's all i need i cut up six potatoes dice them up i got two cans of um colonel corn two cans of sweet whole corn corn i cut up three onions dice them up okay right here i have uh one 28 ounce can of diced tomatoes and 128 ounce cans of crushed tomatoes okay i mixed them together right here i got some frozen beans with frozen vegetables with green beans peas corns carrots you name it mixed up into that okay right here i got only one can of cream style corn that's all i need for me in my pot right here i'm going to use one fourth of a cup of minced garlic yes sir 1 4 of a cup of black pepper one fourth of a cup of seasoning salt yes sir one fourth of a cup of ketchup heinz ketchup that good stuff and right here last but not least i got one full cup of louisiana hot sauce yes sir so that's all going in the pot when i get ready to start when i get after i pull all my meat off and put the put put it put the uh i i'll pull all the meat off them off the bone and cut up the chicken i'm gonna pull that meat i'll put it in a bowl i'm going to save the broth okay then i'm going to put all these ingredients in there and then i'm going to put the chicken back on top last yes sir it's going down man it's going down i'm going to mix it up i hope you like it i already i i already know i'm going to like it because of the ingredients that i'm putting in mine yes sir so hold on tight we'll be back we're about halfway through we got a couple more hours to go okay see you when i see you all right fam look at that look how look how look how that broth in that look oh it's good in season yes sir let's just let's test it and see if the uh meat fall off the bone okay that part already oh hold on just about touching it look at that look at that yes sir yeah i'm proud about that thing man just fall right off the bone so i'm going to turn this off and take this meat out of here shred this meat off of here and i'll be back to finish it oh my word look at that that water was all way up here look how it don't boil down oh you can see the the broth in it yes sir all right fam here we go as you can see how to pull it all against all the chicken and the pork off the meat it made it i mean it fell right off the bone yes sir so we're gonna go ahead and put that in there first matter of fact i'm gonna put half of it in there put half of it in there first okay then i'm gonna go with the potatoes man it's gonna be good then the corn that's the two k of the whole kernel corn that i add okay one can of the cream style corn put that on in there we then i'm gonna go with the mixed veggies put that in there stir it up yes sir all right then i'm gonna go with the one can of 128 ounce can of chopped tomatoes a diced tomatoes and one 28 ounce can of the crushed tomatoes yes sir man i am proud about this thing man it smells so good fam i tasted that broth oh man y'all gonna love it yeah it is coming together nice okay now i'm gonna put the rest of the meat in there look at that i can't believe man i did man that came right off the bone i mean we're like yeah absolutely just like she said okay so now i'm going with the one-fourth of a cup one-fourth of a cup of the um minced garlic one-fourth of a cup some black pepper [Music] yes sir that's my grandson in the background one fourth of a cup of seasoning salt one fourth of a cup of ketchup yes sir and one full cup of louisiana hot sauce yes sir last but not least the rest of the onions three cut up onions oh man man look at that man mix it up now y'all know i'm proud about this thing here yes sir oh man look at that this smells so good i'm gonna taste it at the end when it's done all the way fast mama there goes that man would you look at that i did it fam yes sir yes i'm gonna put this top over here let it cook a little bit and we'll be back to check on it okay fam look at that i want to come show you all five taste it look how good that is look how good that look oh my word now let's see yes sir oh man yeah i'm laughing because i'm proud of that look at that i'ma let it cook a little bit more so we can all sludge up a little just a little bit more getting nice and thick look at that oh man yes sir okay fam there's my fitness look man look man y'all y'all really outdid yourself with this one here this is so good man i'm proud of this here i'm gonna get ready to taste it for you in a minute but man i tell you it took like three hours to boil it for the meat to you know to start shredding and falling off the bone and um uh but the whole entire process takes about four hours it's well worth it as you can see the look can tell you that it's good that it's gonna be good now i'm getting ready to taste it for you here we go all right oh my goodness and the hot sauce flavoring is so good that's it's not too hot too either fan it tastes exactly how it looks y'all ain't right man i am proud about this thing so this is to be on the menu from here one out they especially doing you know like the cooler times wintertime and fall they gonna love this i appreciate y'all man for listening thank you shout corn you know like that but i don't even taste it this is so good every ingredient i put in here works i love y'all to life man g rich out literally this brunswick stew in your mouth
