Breath of the Wild - How to get powerful weapons right after the plateau!

hey everyone today I have a very special video and that is how to gear up as most optimally as possible from the beginning of the game now as you can see I've added a new file so I only have three heart containers and only one stamina extra stamina vessel meaning that we are the very minimal requirements for pulling all this off now as you can see I'm still on the plateau and I've only just gotten the paraglider so you want to start off at the Illuma shrine and then make your way to the left you'll see a vantage point where the horses slowly make your way towards them so what do you want to do is take this horse make your way straight for the castle now the thing about hyrule castle is that it is a late-game area so you're gonna be one you're gonna want to be really really careful however the gear that you do get if you do messes succeed is actually responsible after every single Blood Moon cycle meaning if you feel the need for high damaged equipments which will be finding here then you can get it and it'll be a lot easier to do two things like take care of the Guardians lionel's or any of the overworld bosses now one thing about gearing that's very important to note is the fact that gear actually upgrades when you find them based on how far you progress the storyline so let's say that there is a soldier's broadsword that spawns in an area just somewhere out there finish maybe one or two of the divine beasts and then you'll find yourself picking up a knight's broadsword or then after that you might find a like a [Music] a Royal broadsword and so forth so pretty much it just goes up in tears and the same thing goes for the equipment and drops by enemies like they might have the regular clubs and there's spikes clubs and that reinforce bone clubs and then the dragon bone clubs so we're heading towards hyrule castle and you might want to stay to the left as you progress through the game obviously you'd be able to get closer but I'm showing you guys how to get here from the from the very beginning of the plateau now remember to always keep pressing L every once in a while to charm the horse because you want to be able to have maintain as much control as possible especially because we could be encounters in Guardian soon there was also a shrine nearby so if you guys want to use that as well and you're feel free there's a fork over here that we're heading towards on this cliff on the left side that leads towards the shrine so if you guys want to do that then by all means and then I'll make the process of getting here after a Blood Moon that much smoother Terra's gonna spew past this guy thankfully run a horse of Amelia run these still you got to be careful [Music] okay so you're gonna want a head in here this is our destination so first thing that you're gonna get as part of our little gearing process are these bomb arrows or now remember these do not respond because you found them inside of a treasure chest now I'm not sure if they'll spot you it depends on how far they travel but in any case just head towards the cliffside yeah be really careful around that come to think of it the shrine isn't that far away from here either [Music] all right should have shaken the mine out all right so you want to drop down to this pathway over here coming out of the mountain and that giant pillar over there with all the glowy thing he's on it is our goal if that's gonna be our ticket to get in here also I recommend that you save as many times as possible because there is quite a bit of trial and error involved if you're doing with this for the first time this is actually a speed runners tactic what we're about to do but it's pretty useful if you want to get some powerful gear which I'll be showing you guys you know all right so to stand over here do what I do and just save now the way that the game works is that the terrain as it changes it allow link to step on and advance grounds as if there was no friction like so so he would actually step forward so always try to keep the ascends while at the same time also maintaining your uh also maintaining your energy at all times all right here we go okay so we found a little spot to stands on here and you worm your way up so pretty much the way that it works is that you find a solid ground for a link to step up on for the step up animation and then you try to get your way to the other points of the set button for information it's quite a bit of like game design logistics at play here as well it's typically but not really a glitch but yeah you want to keep hanging over those edges so that link and keep climbing them here we go all right so it is keep on those edges again keep worming your way back up the first couple of stretches are pretty tough but after that you should have no problem making your set pretty easily and also you can find some resting spots it does take a couple of attempts I mean as you saw with me it took me several tries to even make it up the first stretch but once you do though it was worth it okay and to stand on something all right it's gonna make it way slightly higher [Music] there we go keep stepping up until you're at a comfortable height all right so I would say that this is pretty good so I'm gonna save if this is a pretty comfortable height to be on now as you could see over on the left side of the screen there is some walls that I can actually lands on so we're going to do it [Music] careful because you're gonna get noticed by that century feel free to land so you can find some cover also rest up a little bit [Music] I think this is a pretty good distance okay there's a ladder on the other side we're gonna head onto that ladder perfect now over on the right is something that also respawns the taking this now there are lasers trained on Co so that's the big indicator that we cannot or we should not rather head in this direction instead we're gonna go over on this side the big hint is the staircase and the waterfall those are the landmarks but we want to head towards that staircase and stodg those lasers remember to keep your sound on so you can hear those lasers being trained on you know so yeah we have these don't have any standard arrows right now though but we'll find those later when the time comes now you don't after you want to go up the stairs like I adjust it you absolutely want to go in here [Music] some of these barrels actually have the arrows inside of them so we're gonna quickly surround around these perfect found result an arrow [Music] you know okay you're gonna head down this hole look both ways cuz we're careful like that now there's an eye up there in the hallway we're gonna take that out otherwise it's gonna keep spawning skulls at us perfect now we're clear okay you're gonna head rights ignore that I because that I is not gonna bother us at all doesn't even know us know we're here how sad alright so now we got ourselves a good shield and a Knights broadsword but more importantly you get the ancients arrows these are extremely powerful arrows as you guys might already know at this point mainly just because they can one-shot basically anything that's not a boss and even then just do tough stain temas two bosses - okay so now what we're gonna do is we're gonna put on that broadsword and we're gonna go into sneak mode not now though okay now the reason why we went going sneak mode is because there is al is all foes in here also you know for safety then cautions sake we're gonna save okay this lizalfos here I'm gonna weigh from the lie down now we're gonna sneak strike them [Music] and of course we get the spoils feliz all shield a very good shield and the try boomerang which is aptly stronger than our broadsword always welcome now we're gonna head down here and there's actually a explodable wall to the left and what do you know we got ourselves some more ancient arrows so already if you're starting from the beginning of the game these are very powerful assets to have you're gonna melt like you know like wind light unin and such now this part is very very important to notes because there are two lizalfos here and we're gonna fight with an knights bow all right yeah I'll let them come here [Music] okay can't carry anymore she'll sass embarrassing yeah this makes short work of them with your sword I'm over here we're also gonna free up some space on our shields not gonna need these anymore now because this is an armory we also get access to the Knights halberd which is a very useful weapon for wild encounters and my favorite looking weapon the Knights claim war now I'd recommend that you guys say if here extreme fight against of really tough enemy at least for this stage in the game [Music] I forgot how swoosh weapons all righty so this is the role of guards claymore rezoning at the beginning of the game we already have is 72 as hack power weapon well furthermore we also get the royal of Claymore which is 52 and we don't have enough room but that's okay because we're throwing this out so again a lot of these items are likely going to be upgraded by the time you start clearing outs things like divine beasts and these do respawn after every Blood Moon because they are either helped by enemies or found on the ground not in chests now this is just a few more things for you guys to get here there is a Falcons bow if you guys are in the mood for getting a bow and there's all some balm arrows now these of course don't respond and to get you guys started there's also a bonus silver rupee in here as well now usually this would be the ends of your collection simply cuz it's very very little for you to do here asides from you know finishing the game if you were so inclined to continue on to the end but this would basically be your route for completing a castle so what I'm going to do now I'm gonna switch over to my main file and I'll show you what I usually do when I have acquired this gear and they want to collect more things ah there is actually one thing that completely slipped my mind as soon as I hit the record button in the previous segments there's actually one more very important piece of equipment that I would like you guys to know about and it is along the route so as you saw as soon as you leave the gate you make a right and head up the cobblestone and then scale the mountain and as you can see I have minimal stamina requirements for these kinds of things as well okay now this part is going to be tricky because as soon as you get in there's gonna be a silver line all now you have one of two choices if you want the ball marrows now then take out one of your ancient arrows which is what I'm gonna show you guys right now and the chest is going up here and that's gonna be that and you guys got a head over here [Music] [Music] nice all of the bomb arrows and now you're gonna want to drop down over here or anybody much about the laser eyes but you guys want to be really really careful for this part [Music] so Gus can turn around this resolution low water and then book it [Music] something you can do as well is just wait for the initial laser and then I'll run to the side so that it misses and then you just charge right in now that he was at the cooldown essentially so there's a mullet in here we deal with sand we do other bobbins all righty this is the edge of duality so a 50 base power weapon that you get the beginning of the game now take out your magnesia and you see over here and the Royal Guards bow which is a 50 base power bow so again all very very important items for you to have so guys keep the end minds now I'm gonna head over to the main file and show you the other things that I do but none I got when I want to get equipment so here I am at the main file and this is my map and all the markings that I have on it as you can tell there's quite a few skulls on it because I like to keep track of all my different worlds bosses so I can kill them accordingly now the ones that are very notable of course are the lyonel which are enemies that I particularly enjoy fighting so most of them are easy to warp to but locating them can be a bit of a hassle so the one that's been giving people quite a bit of trouble actually is the one that's located over here now this is the Gerudo summits usually I would reach it by starting off at the tip on that Ridge staple and then just kind of climbing my way up but there is a friend nearby called the chemic Kasasa shrine which is also a major test of strength so again if you're going through a blood moon cycle you might want to kill the Guardian here get yourself some good gear and then you just continue to make your way up the mountain and scale it accordingly so that you can encounter the lyonel that's over here now the thing about this one is that if you did not even if you did not do any divine beasts and did not progress the plot whatsoever it'll still be a white light all it'll only upgrade after you have beaten the game as well everyone knows about this one this is the Colosseum ruins now the closest shrine that I know of anyway is a Rosa you shine a shrine which is not that far away from the the great plateaus Hauer and also the central tower so pretty easy self-explanatory to get to you just follow the pathway or if you're like me you would climb up the mountain and then drop in from the top and this is a very special kind of Lionel because depending on how you progress through the game it'll change colors accordingly so if you beat three dungeons then that's going to be a white Lionel if it's two dungeons it'll be a blue Lionel and one dungeon it'll be a green standard Lionel but then if you finish all four divine beast this will be a silver line on a silver Lionel and the only one that you can encounter until after you beat the game in which case almost all the Lionel that I'm aware of will actually become sulfur variants another one also to take note of is in a column so the Acala tech lab is pretty close by and you just have to jump down and then fight this guy over here he's somewhere around this area you can't miss them and if you do miss him he'll notice you and he'll start shooting at you with arrows and no one wants to do that so just stay vigilant and of course my personal favorite one the one that the very first one I've ever encountered in my time playing is this one in the Hebrew Mountains now yeah the shark and my shrine it's right beside it so yeah have fun with that one all in all the Lionel gear was meant to be and game equipment but it's gone to a point where the player base has found so many different strategies for dealing with these guys that it's pretty easy to obtain their equipment using the routes that I told you guys earlier so yeah that pretty much does it for all the Lionel um obviously I haven't found all of them and so yeah feel free to explore enjoy that gear durability can be a bit of a pain I understand that but if you know where to go and you memorize where the shrines are the ones that you need like Josh kata for the matrice test of strength or um yeah this one over here it's actually right by the silver Lionel as I said earlier chemica salsa is another major test of strength another notable one that I you guys know about as well yes this one Goma a sog deep in the hebrew mountains you actually need to start a fire to melt the ice to actually get your way into it but yeah that one is also another major test of strength it's a bit hard to find but as soon as you find any frying you can just warp back to it so I hope you think this guy um I hope you guys found this helpful in some way to help you get your ancient weapons lionel gear as well as the special gear that you get in hyrule castle so just keep all these things in minds whenever there's a Blood Moon cycle because they will respawn oh and also before I forget one other weapon of notes is actually right beside the table on the tower so significant about the tower you head Northwest into the Khujo Mountain and you will find the great Thunder blade which is a very useful elemental great sword so I think that about does it these are generally my rotations for going through this game in every Blood Moon cycle and yeah feel free to copy it and get yourself overpowered so
