Boy Gets ROCKET BUILDING WORKSHOP In His Room! 🛠 | Get Out Of My Room | Universal Kids

oh wow oh this is so cool my name is Luke and I'm 11 years old I love building and designing this is our room I see people in the top bunk Luke sleeps underneath me put the weight limit for that is 165 and I'm 160 so you're constantly waiting for your brother to fall from the top to you it's kind of scary I mean like he's longer than the bed so sometimes you could see his feet like there's little holes in it you can just say it's feet peering over it right so whose area is this [Music] next all mine so what do you built well I've both cars rockets I'm also building a go-cart from scratch do you race cars yeah you have all your tools and equipment out but you don't have a surface to actually build on it so you need a desk to keep all this organized right yeah that's why it's so not neat now let's talk about your dream rooms if you can anything that you would ever want in the world what would it be Luke do you want to go first sure I want to walk up with a lot of space underneath it like a good workstation if I can keep all my supplies organized I want to feel like I'm in a space where I can just build and design and create whatever I want to be creative and be organized it's time to talk design what do you think Luke wants in his new room well Luke likes to build stuff so I think he needs enough room to be creative well give him a loft bed where underneath he has a place to brainstorm and relax I think Luke definitely needs a place where he can organize all the models he feels we can give him an awesome workstation desk with plenty of room for homework and for all his projects he likes to build Luke will love that these are excellent ideas Ben let me get started all right let's go let's go [Music] Luke is an industrious kid so we want to give his room an industrial look we're painting his laws a metallic gray with red accent wall and we're installing steel light fixtures all around I wanted to make Luke's room feel like it's an auto shop so we're gonna make all of the doors in the room almost look like they're aluminum I think we'll really love that on top of the base coat of the door you're gonna brush a little blighter metallic and do a finishing technique this adds a really good natural aluminum look so you do a section like this take some plastic bag throw it up tight yeah it looks almost like it's metal yeah it's always good to do this in pieces so that you can step back and see your work if it needs a little editing just dab it some more super easy and you really can't mess it up so what do you think oh it's really good me too the other closet doors already dry so let's go ahead the rivets all right I've marked where we're going to put the rivets about one inch apart i spray-painted some of these little corner guards use them for picture frames so that they don't move on the wall we're just gonna peel them off and place them everywhere there's a mark two more doors yeah your brother wanted a loft bed right yeah so I thought it'd be fun to make him a really cool industrial modern ladder for his loft bed yeah I really like that yeah so one of the important things we have to do for this bed is making sure that the ladder is safe so he can climb up it and not hurt his hands something's gonna round off the edges here we're gonna use a router to do that so I'd do a little bit first and I'm gonna hand it off to you and let you get started all right all right go ahead [Music] [Applause] [Music] take it away [Music] [Applause] [Music] nice good job Ben yeah and walk it off does this look familiar yeah it does this is the ladder that you routed out I think he's gonna really liking I'm gonna finish sanding this and you're gonna paint the rest of that I do it work [Music] don't worry if you go out of the lines a little bit because we're gonna use touch-up paint to fix it a little later all right all right cool [Music] can you believe this used to be your old room and hot really there's a lot more space now great I think he's gonna be really excited good I think you got some some blond highlights there going on OOP I'm finishing up Luke's workstation by assembling all the pieces and putting them all together all right and now Ben's gonna help me finish the rest all right Ben so here we have your brother's workstation now you're gonna help me finish putting on the table top and also installing some brackets all right all right cool so first things first we're gonna use these angle brackets to install the tabletop there we go all right now this is gonna be you flour where it goes it's another legs are up all this left is to put on the top of it all right take it away [Music] family need you to do some pre-drilling [Music] alright Ben this is looking really good it's time to attach this really cool wheel as a league this is gonna be an exciting piece that gives them a little more room for stable all we have to do is pre-drill it again and add some more screws alright let's see this is looking really really great lookk is gonna be able to build so many projects for this new workstation alright ready yeah oh wow awesome this is so cool does it look like the same room no not at all you wanted a loft bed with the Hangout space underneath oh yeah this is so cool me and J BJ I worked on this together we took a tool called a router to smooth it down so that it didn't cut your feet when you climbed up so you have your bed up high which doubled the size of your room and we were able to put in a huge workstation yeah me and J VJ made this custom workspace for you we use this wheel over here as a leg for this extension piece so cool we make sure to get you all the tools that you need to build anything that you want I think you guys could probably build a couple rockets in here together right probably and you have space to organize all your tools in all your motors everything you could ever want with all the doors we added a silver finish to give it a rivet sort of look
