let me tell you a hard hard lesson nothing in this world is free excuse me yeah that's not true we do so apparently we have some free plug-ins at motion vfx so i guess i'm wrong let's dive into final cut and we'll learn how to use them so these are four free plugins that you can pick up right now just by going to the motion vfx website plugin number one is called m vertigo i'm sure you've seen the vertigo effect before it was seen first in the movie vertigo by alfred hitchcock and has been used in a lot of hollywood movies since we created a plugin which once again is free to help you achieve this effect it can be found in your titles you'll see we have four options to choose from each give a different style of the vertigo effect for this drone example i'll go with m vertigo 2. i'll extend it for the duration of the clip and we'll set our focus point by adjusting our on-screen controls here this outside circle adjusts the radius of the distortion effect i'll make this inside circle a little smaller so our focus point looks a little less distorted and this scale handle here sets the target scale for the footage basically how much the footage will end up scaled in the end and then we have our rotation handle here and it's as easy as that and vertigo does the rest now we've portrayed to our viewer that maybe this ferris wheel is not something you'd want to go on up next we have the free plug-in mlight diffuse this can be found in your effects window and it gives you six options for unique lighting effects to add to your footage let's use this shot as an example i'll drag mlight to fuse one and it automatically will find the brightest parts of our shots to add some light streaks nothing needs to be tracked either we can head into our inspector window and change things like the brightness the width even the color you can also add different types of grain and noise to your footage directly from this plug-in with this fairly flat shot diffuse 2 is going to be a great option you'll notice it almost gives a halation effect like a black pro mist might give there are four more awesome options in this pack to help make your footage stand out and like i mentioned the pack is free the next free plug-in i'm going to quickly go over is mlut and chances are if you follow this channel and our work you may have already heard about this plugin amoled gives you quick access to manage all of your different luts for example i can find all of my motion vfx lut presets in this folder find the pack i want and select an option easily we'll go with nuclear here you can also import the different luts that you have on your computer as well lastly mlet gives you quick access to add contrast adjust saturation and even add grain to your shot for a more cinematic feel this plugin is so easy to use and is a great way to quickly grade your footage last but not least we have m-cam rig this is a popular tool that a lot of youtubers use to automatically animate footage and photos in their videos but of course it's not just limited to youtube this plugin can be used in a ton of different ways let's say i'm creating a documentary about the us and i want this map to animate and become more dynamic as b-roll i'm going to turn off animate in and out because i want the effect to extend the whole clip the first thing i'll do is adjust my camera y rotation you'll notice something awesome happens m-cam rig automatically blurs sections of the map to look like we shot this map with a shallow depth of field with a camera we'll place our starting point which is this on-screen control tool on the west coast here this position x rate is basically where our shot will end up on the x-axis so i want it to slowly make its way to the middle of the us so i'll head to the end adjust this x value and stop in the middle of the us you'll notice that now we have a real nice animation to the center of the map with what looks like a shallow depth of field we have tons of different options as well i can adjust the camera angle of view the blur amount where that plane of focus is located and you can even adjust the color of the background behind your footage or stills this plug-in has a lot of options and once again it's free it's important to note that not only do we have some free plug-ins for final cut but we also have some for davinci resolve like our m1 ready plug-in m-hello dv which is a free goodie pack that includes tools like a magnifying glass a transition different effects and useful titles we're working hard to create for davinci resolve users so for those out there that use resolve thanks for your patience thank you guys so much for watching do us a huge favor and press the thumbs up button and make sure to subscribe if you have not already because this channel is one way to get notified about all of our new plugins hope you guys have a great rest of your day [Music] you
