[Music] i'm creative crambo back with another one yeah in this video i'm going to show you how i bond into some existing concrete what you see there is a start of a concrete beer i'm going to be concreting this in there'll be four inches of concrete from there as we go through where it finishes there there's only going to be 18 mil of concrete so i need to bond into this concrete so it don't crack out all i've done is loads of saw marks in the existing concrete there that'll give it a nice key for the concrete going in also as well i'll be using this primer that's a primer and add mixture that's going to go into the mix and also i want to mix them up as well cover that area there this the the existing area there with the primer yeah four inches of concrete down to 18 mil also as well i'm going to be putting these fibers for concrete in there there's 750 grams in there and they recommend that you do 75 grams per 25 kilogram kilograms yet that's one bag of cement per 75 grams of fibers i'm putting 10 bags of cement in the mix of this so i'll be using the whole bug yeah bring the concrete through when i get to this point here there's about three inches of a depth there and then from that area there i'll prime the rear the existing concrete and then bring the concrete through yeah so i'm just there bonding this existing concrete now [Music] i made sure that the the concrete was all clean and dust free as well i'm just going to work this into the saw cuts i've done there [Music] all i did was read the back of the tube and it said three to one ratio so that's what i've done the most important part when you're doing a bonding chord a prime and court is that when you do your finished court the prime has got to be tacky so don't let the primer dry out just time it right so it's nice and tacky and that should get you the best results there you go prime and cut all done i'll probably lay that about 20 minutes then i'll come through with my concrete yes i've just come through there with the concrete i'm at the point now where i did all the priming i've got some nice bar in there as well the prime is nice and tacky as well so we can go over that now she hasn't dried out concrete's good to go coming through i'll be finishing where that line is there coming through and what i'll be able to do is get a nice bull nose finish on the front of that as well so primer's all ready to go it has a dried out nice and tacky coming through with the concrete let's have a look at these here what these fibers for concrete do so we've got the bostic fibers for concrete are easy to use and minimize cracking and shrinkage in mortar and concrete they easily disperse evenly into the mix they are suitable for use in malta and concrete for floors and slabs external hard standing puffs and drives that sounds pretty good also as well with the primer it does see on there reduces cracking and shrinkage so that's ideal as well so i'm good to go with the concrete coming through i'll get to that point there and put a nice finish on the edge yeah nice bull noise finish there on the front of this slab it just gives it that extra 10 nice easy way to bond concrete at the concrete all i did was a lot of saw cuts in this existing and then i got a nice straight line cut through there that eventually gave me my final finish with the with the ball nose to let the troll get in there in the cut and work with through also as well using the primer and prime up your area make sure it's um still tacky before you go over the finished area also as well you put your primer into your mix and also as well i use the uh concrete fiber mesh in the mix as well so very strong job uh ideal as well for just coming down from four inches to and airtamil at the front there so nicely bonded in all primed up most admit that's looking pretty good through there just give that the extra 10 percent with the bull nose i'll let this firm up and then i can get a final finish yeah that side has definitely dried out quicker than that side i still can't get on that side yet got away for a little while longer but that will be the finish as you can see nicely at the front there just go let that air bleed water dry out a bit but that's your general idea uh this is only a footpath as well so it's only like traffic it's only foot traffic going across this [Music] but the concrete there nicely bonded into that concrete that's a great job thanks for watching like and subscribe turn on notifications [Music]
