the Bombay bramble it's a modern classic first created using Bombay in the 1980s by legendary bartender dick Bradshaw to make this drink we'll be using a tumbler - which I'm going to add a measure of Bombay Sapphire next we want the lemon juice which we're going to squeeze fresh this is the juice of one small to medium lemon now to balance the acidity I'm going to need a little sugar syrup about three or four teaspoons when the balance is right the taste will be sure but like but it will still be a little sour now we can add some crushed ice and give the drink a stir I'm going to chop up fully the crushed ice now and finish with a drizzle of creme de mieux a liqueur made from blackberries and if you watch I love the way that this will marble gently through the cocktail this now brings a berry sweetness to the overall drink it brings some color flavor and balance and the cassia and coriander botanicals found in Bombay Sapphire will also add a wonderful warmth and freshness to the overall drink and now the traditional garnish of if they're in season two black berries and a lemon slice the lemon just to give some extra zing and the berries to enjoy with the cocktail the Bombay bramble delicious you
