Definitely one of the most credible UFO cases ever in my opinion, every skeptic explanation that doesn't try to use the pilots seeing a star or a planet as an explanation (ridiculous with the radar returns and heat felt in the cockpit) assumes that the pilot with +10000 hours of flying experience and the 2 other crew members would all blatantly lie with no motive and not change their story even after they ruined their careers were banned from flying for years.
Well done video, but the spelling errors detract from the professional quality of it. Also, the video doesnβt properly reflect the shape or size of what the pilot described. He said the object was much more bulbous, and estimated it to be the size of an aircraft carrier.
One of my favorite History channel UFO program was Black Box UFO Secrets covers this incident quite well in terms of the large scale of the walnut UFO.
AFFERMATIVE. lol
Also here's another documentary that's more recent on JAL1628. This channel has this whole series which might be a good watch for you if you haven't seen them.
It is an interesting encounter. Not sure if I've ever posted this here before, but here is my connection to researching the story, and how a "FOIA" blunder by the FAA destroyed all the records relating to this specific case: http://www.theblackvault.com/documentarchive/ufo-case-japanese-airlines-jal1628-november-17-1986/
It's a crazy story....
That was the most depressing music ever.
Great video, not perfect regarding portraying the UFO's reported image, but great nonetheless.
Did they do a reenactment of the UFO encounter using that flight simulation game just out of curiosity?
I remember seeing something a few months back about a possible explanation or debunking of this incident.
