Bob Hazlett - Rise Conference 2019

I'll stay up here since I'm seated with Christ first let me just say are these guys so cute or what I mean they're stinking cute Thanks Dave and Deb for having me and for this house of so anybody any guy that's married knows what it's like to hear your wife's his voice when she's not there you know I'm saying like about three times every time I preach I hear my wife say stuff it's almost it's like she knows what I'm gonna say and she tries to keep it from coming out of my mouth I can hear her sing in slow motion but as they're up there and my wife is here I just heard my wife saying I just want to squeeze him I just want to squeeze him so so later on I'm gonna squeeze you guys for my wife because she's she was here she would just go squeeze you and so thanks for having me and thanks Dan oh man can we just give it up for this guy that's genius I mean super good stuff today if you were here today if you weren't here today next time you hear me preach it's directly from me it's I did not steal it from him so just so you know and thank you he's actually the ones who he introduced me to both of these guys we actually I did a conference in Stockton and Dan was that Deanna was there and and then in Detroit with Drew and that's how I met these young guys these young guys whose hair is gonna turn gray before mine and Jesus name just saying my dad's hair didn't turn gray till 65 some soul but hanging onto that promise if not there's just four men so he meant for that so so I my name's Bob those of you who've never met me and I was Bob hayslett and how many is this the first time I'm getting to meet you that's so great wow really this is awesome I could just tell all my old jokes forget about the new stuff I had a bunch of new stuff but forget about that I'm gonna do some stuff today first of all thank you worship team for that incredible atmosphere that was created I'm a I'm a presence guy and so if they didn't create it I would have just stayed up here and doing stuff until it got created so thank you for just creating that atmosphere let me just honor this house too I go to a lot of places thank you for what you've created here the conversations I don't know how to say this without sounding weird and I have a feeling there's nothing that's weird to you guys but I'm just gonna like I'm usually the guy trying to make weird things sound normal that's my gift is to I'm too weird for my normal friends I'm not weird enough for my weird friends so I'm gonna err on the side of weirdness with you guys because I think that's actually gonna be pretty yeah actually you're gonna think I'm too conservative so the spiritual conversations that I'm having and the entities that I'm having conversation with and in this space is unusual what I'm saying so the spiritual atmosphere that you guys have created is mature you guys are old in the spirit if you will I can't describe it other than it reminds me of the conversation Moses and the elders must have had when they had sat and had dinner with God and it was on it says and he appeared on this sapphire like honest I've just felt like literally It was as if I could have I was having conversations with elders and in heaven and so it's a beautiful atmosphere it wasn't it's not hard I'm used to it being hard places where I gotta have a problem actually I like it when it's hard it makes you feel like I did something but here I don't feel like I've doing anything it's just kind of like I don't even have to work this is a fun place to be I almost don't know what to do I'm not no spiritual atmosphere to break through you guys have it spiritual atmosphere you might not know that because maybe you're used to it but it's really nice so anyway I've had some good conversations in my hotel room and I'm staying by myself so I tend to have those conversations quite a bit sometimes I have them out loud and people around me notice like I one time I was driving with my daughter running away to a meeting somewhere and I hear this in the background dad dad dad Robert I'm like why did you call me Robert because I called your dad like three times and you didn't answer I said well why did you call me three times she is because you were talking to yourself I said it was not talking to myself I was driving she was no you are actually having a conversation out loud and I was trying to get your attention I said really she said yeah I said okay let me think about that so I'm like oh yeah I was having a conversation with a person I said I was talking to this lady she got brown hair down to here she's got glasses and I was telling her she's gonna write a film script that's gonna bring healing between two nations and I thought she would say something like oh that's so awesome and so instead she said something like whatever which in teenage language that means wow you're so awesome I want to be just like you when I grow up and that night that night actually there was a lady there and I called her and she looked just like that and I told her this and she's weeping because I just started writing a film script today actually and I looked at my daughter said mm-hmm I'm awesome and you want to be just like me when I when you grow up I know she's like whatever but so anyway I've had some good conversations with myself while I'm here and I'm gonna continue to have them so that's pretty cool and you can too you can have conversations with yourself what's cool now is they have the air buds so you put them in and when you're in public talking to yourself people think you're on the phone like I've had that happen to me before I'm an airplane line and people look at me I start talking to God out loud people look at me I'm like yeah I'll call you back later because sometimes stuff goes on in there and then it leaks out like oh did I say that out loud so sometimes it happens but there's a lot going on in there right you know there's a lot going on in there so here's what I'm gonna do just to let you know so what I'm gonna do tonight just just in case this is always good for me to feel like I have a plan I pretend I feel like I'm in control so man makes his plans but the Lord guides the step which in the original language means you can make your plan God's gonna do what he wants anyway so here's my plan my plan isn't gonna do some perfect ministry at the beginning because a couple reasons because I want to do something corporate at the end I think would be cool and at least I think it will be I think God thinks it is too and the second thing is it's like eleven o'clock where I'm from and actually I was in another time zone that was nine hours different by the beginning of this week so somewhere and then times when I'm from I'm sleeping somewhere in in one alternate universe of reality I'm already in bed so I figure out it's better for me to do perfect ministry in the beginning because if I was praying for the sick all I need is a hand right lay hands on the sick they'll recover if you're prophesied you need at least half your brain I'm just saying there's some gifts it takes different faculties for and if you have a hand you can heal the sick but if you don't have a brain you can't prophesy I'm not saying healing ministers are stupid I'm saying is all saying is they're different and and and Paul said eagerly desire spiritual gifts especially what especially see it's not interesting ever ask yourself that question like he didn't say especially you know I'm not saying it's any one's easier harder they're different ones better look I mean I didn't write the Bible I just happened to read it and chose the best one don't blame me for being right so it's I mean I do healing ministry too when I'm tired cuz it's good I'm just I'm just Eve oh I'm just making sure that in case any religious spirits happen to come in just sorted I'm just having fun really just having fun and because it's hard it's because healing ministries is it's like when a doctor has to deliver a baby you know he comes in after nine months of labor and he's got a 50/50 shot it's a boy it's a girl you're healed no I'm not well I prayed I'm saying I'm just saying lay hands on the sick and they'll recover and so you have a 50/50 chance they're healed and then it's a back or it's not prophetic ministry it's not like being there at the birth of a child it's more like raising a teenager everybody have a teenager if you let me tell you how that goes in case you're not there yet just to prepare yourself here's how it goes I give you all the wisdom and revelation that I have you look at me like I'm an idiot two years later you come back to me and say you're a genius everything you said was true it's prophetic ministry right there exactly yes [Applause] it's true and when you get to sort of like the age where I'm at two years from now I'm not even gonna remember you so you're gonna come back like you gave me a word the change in my life I'm like what was it I don't remember you well I was this like I said that that's the that's the beauty of prophetic ministry like five years like after you give the word it's like better than when you gave it because when you gave it it was completely wrong and you're a false prophet and you're an idiot when you come back just like you're a genius I can't believe that if you would have never said that that would have never happened well who are you I've never met you in my life you guys alright so anyway I like all the spiritual gifts by the way I'm healing miracles apparently signs and wonders now since Stan spoke I'm like now I'm into that Wow signs of wonders I was deep signs and wonders and I was so convicted it's like I've done all those things I've misinterpreted signs I've I've tried to apply the spirit of understanding the wonders and I'm like I'm thinking I'm pressing in for a spirit of understanding and I'm like no that's heresy to try to understand a wonder just enjoy it if you're not confused by it then that's sin apparently what kind of place is this I've just been know what spirit you're from tonight she's kidding just kidding so let me try something else let me mm-hmm that must be some because my friend Chris Valentin and I he we have a special gift and we're so close to Beth Lee but spirit of sarcasm came on me so Chris and I are prophetic sarcasm is our motivational gift and I'm from the Northeast so that comes natural to me like uh like we rights I was down south couple of weeks ago down in Texas like text them to love this I love this out because they have sweet tea down there you know it's so sweet so much sugar in it and the people are so sweet in the north we don't drink our tea sweet we drink it like we like our life dark and bitter and that's so great like this no I see you people down south you guys are so sweet you know everybody's so sweet they like oh they're sweet to your face they'll stab you in the back like that's a terrible thing to say about the people that you live with because in the north we just stab you right in the face we don't forget about the back so we're really like every want to make America great again I'm just trying to make my state smile again like guys I just want to walk in Starbucks and have somebody make eye contact with me not swear at me and so we do we walk my wife and I we just where our goal is to literally you guys can heal the sick in Starbucks I just want to make people like happy and know my name like if they know my name and they smile at me and it's happening like that's like I feel like revival has come to Connecticut seriously in the last two years people started smiling at me we got chick-fil-a and Hobby Lobby so we're in revival like you gotta seriously the chick-fil-a came I knew revival and I I was like verifiable is coming to New England chick-fil-a's here so thank God for that sorry let me try words of knowledge I'm not good at words of knowledge I was have to be honest with you I I grew up around prophesying to people and if it basically anything that moved i prophesy to if it didn't move i prophesy to it till it moved i people who said joke like you'd prophesied the water fountain if it didn't my call i kind of did that i tried that's how i practiced so i didn't have like these i didn't wasn't come up around a prophetic community had a really good mentors in my life most of them were also really good tormentors to me and and so but i I just grew up like Holy Spirit you know teaching me how to prophesy in fact I never read a book on prophecy until I wrote my first one cuz I every time I tried to the Lord's that don't read that that'll confuse you don't read that that'll confuse you and it wasn't that he was anything out there was bad it was just that he didn't want me to be an echo he wanted me to be a voice so on I didn't understand it until I wrote my first one and then I read the other ones I'm like oh well they're saying the same thing I'm saying just different but it's different and then I met this guy named Graham cook have you guys ever heard of him I never been around here before yes I guess so in 2011 I was it's the first time I got invited to speak at one of these big you know prophetic conferences with other prophets I'm so nervous I was so nervous it was Randy Clark was hosting and I had never met Randy before I taught at school for four years but I'd never met Randy had never been to Toronto I actually used to make fun of Toronto because I was I went to Brownsville and we knew that Rio revivals you cried you didn't laugh and I just didn't understand all you people that laugh should not be happy you should be repenting in sackcloth and ashes a revival so it's really nervous and then on my way there this guy called me this pastor called me and he left me a voicemail hey elijah the tishbite and and I didn't hear what he said after the X mic I'm Elijah the Tishbite and why is why is Elijah called the Tishbite anyway it just made me think of a whole bunch of things a dish by E is at issue by did he have a mosquito bite ish what's at issue is it a tick bite I just think enough stuff like that and so anyway I had this I did this session with whatever it was voice of the prophets it was called kind of an audacious conference title isn't it voice of the prophets kind of like that I always wanted them to invite me to want it was like voice of the Apostles they don't get to invited they don't call me the a word I'm not that one anyway so I went Grammy said hey let's go out to lunch it was real I was so nervous because he's super smart and he's got that British accent that makes him sound even smarter and then he just says like he asks you a question and then he's really quiet for a long time and then am I supposed to say something so he's like you know you're like Elijah the Tishbite I'm like ah what does that mean to you turn the table on the Prophet you know I'm saying like use their little Jedi mind tricks on them don't tell me what that means to you sensei and so he's like well you know he came from Tish but he wasn't from Israel he's from know where you're from know where nobody knows you like thank you you're nobody from nowhere that's why God chose you you're nobody like thank you but I understood it because you know what God's God loves to take people that don't fit you know I'm saying like he wouldn't normally put like he chooses a Pharisee to go the Gentiles and he chooses the failure Jew to go like Peter he was not good at being a Jew and he went to the juice man what is that all about I think some God's choosing some of you because you're so good at failure the reason I'm saying this is because when it comes to the supernatural you can't be afraid of failure so I'm setting you up because we're gonna do words of knowledge and I'm not good at them so I sometimes call them guesses of I'm good at prophecy I'm not good at words and knowledge so I sometimes call them guesses of knowledge how do you know the difference if it's right it's a word of knowledge if it's wrong it's a complete guess of knowledge and sometimes you don't know the difference I was in I was a couple months ago in a conference I was the last speaker in the last night and there's a lot of good guys there was fun but I had the last night and so I decided to do some prophetic ministry at the beginning and I'm like hey is there some mark on the right side and and this isn't a word now it's just a story so if your name's mark I don't have a word for you all right I might later on but I do I do have some names down there so if I call it a name over um during worship so I'm like anybody knew mark and then nobody's responding and I'm looking over anybody named mark no and then somebody's behind a guy starts pointing to him and so I decided well maybe he just needs a little more encouragement anybody over there named mark and and the guy at these points he's just sitting like this and then the two guys behind next to him start pointing to him and I'm like sir with your arms folded there is your name happened to me mark and he's like yeah Mike all right I thought I was failing I was getting it right so I'm like well mark I see you I see you pointing a gun at a target I see hitting the bull's eye and then I see people coming behind you and I see you pointing their gun at the target and they hit the bull's eye and he's just sitting like this like and like 10 people over here go like and I'm like I'm sorry is there so many name mark over here that means something too and they're like no mark is an army gun instructor that's what he does he teaches people to hit the bull's eye and I'm like mark is that sure he's like yeah whatever I'm killing it I think I'm failing and I'm killing it and so I say hey mark I really see you I see you a time of promotion I see you take it took a promotion test this year but you didn't pass it but God's gonna do something you're gonna get your promotion anyway and he just folds his arms yeah I'm like all right mark I'm done with you so then I went on just preached and had a good time I didn't give any more words of knowledge because I felt like it's not working even though it was working it didn't feel like it was working because of his response and I just didn't want to go through that if everybody in the church was like that I'm like figure it out yourself in love in love as juice if you have to have a new revelation of love that offends you I'm offended that he said that to be honest with you but I'm sorry so I just preached and we're having a great time at the end people are at the altar and praying and this ladies are really getting touched now you have to understand I get excited when people manifests around me because I don't have a manifesting anointing at all I've tried I've had everybody pray for me everybody's pray for me for impartation the reason is is to be honest with you prophetic ministries hard work and I really prayed for awhile God let me just knock people down so I don't have to talk to him it's really hard I lose my voice sometimes I mean there were time when I was training I pray I pray aside two to three hundred people a night for like three or four nights in a row for months for like just to develop the gift one night in Miami is a Women's Conference of Spanish women's conference I prophesied over 500 women with it with a translator mmm four five six and a half six hours straight it was six started I know I started prophesying at nine we finished at 2 a.m. neither of us took a drink once that was grace I'll have that grace anymore by the way so you guys don't even think about it just my grace ends at about 4 people now so thank God for that I was gift development stage now I'm in the impartation station I impart to other people so they can stay till 2 a.m. hallelujah for that right so we're just ladies manifesting I'm really excited because she's gettin touched by God she's just really being touched by God so I grab her hand and I hear myself say this and you have had five concussions and you lost your job and you've had dizzy spells you have ringing in your ears you've even had to not be able to participate in worship sometimes but God's healing you now he's restoring your brain you're gonna get your job back you're gonna finish what God started in your life she goes boom on the floor I was so excited I'm like yes that was powerful and so it was a great way to end the conference it was just excited it was a courage that this person was really touched and so people came up was hanging around the front and the first guy in line was mark and he's like hey I'm like hey first of all can you just can I see if you have a gun on you just make sure because you looked a little grumpy he's like no I'm not packing tonight so he said I want to tell you I took that test this June and I did fail it that word really encouraged me and I'm like thanks for telling me that means a lot that you came up game a high five next lady in line was a lady what yeah I have to tell you the beginning of this conference was like any other conference picked up at the airport driven driven by my driver's name is Sam takes me to the book table he introduced me to his wife who's running the book table the reason I'd tell you that story because the next lady in line she looks at me and she goes hey that's my brother mark I'm like awesome have I met you before she goes yeah you've mad me I'm I'm your driver Sam's wife he met me at the book table and I felt a little bit embarrassed that I didn't remember her because I just met her two days before I said well I'm sorry you were wearing glasses when I met you I remember you but you're not wearing your glasses and she said well that's because those were concussion glasses tonight I was healed I was the person you were talking about what that got healed from five I've had five concussions lost my job actually to drop out of school too and actually had to run out of worship tonight and I'm like that's cool but the lady I prayed for has blonde hair and you have brown hair so you got healed also she said no that lady didn't need healed too I was standing behind her you didn't see me so watch this I was getting it right thinking I was getting it wrong I was getting it wrong thinking I was getting it right and everything worked out okay isn't that good so all that to set you up for when I fail it's gonna be so good cuz I'm really good at failing so now I actually know this one is right but I'm actually gonna because I wrote these down as I was worshiping and I just get four I just asked her for a first name and where people are sitting and it's because I could just pick someone out but it's just fun or to practice stuff and if I I'm praying for an angel to come and just blow in my left ear and then I know everything about you but it doesn't unfortunately don't have that sorry shouldn't have said that that offended somebody but I'm just saying like if an angel does blow in your ear it's real just doesn't happen to me okay i'm i don't like i don't see lights over people head I wish I could I don't but if you have like shiny earrings I might pick you up for a prophecy just saying cuz I get i do get distracted by shiny objects so sometimes I'll pick someone out you have a light over it no that's just sunglasses on your head yes I wish I could I don't I just don't have that maybe I should get that I'm sorry Danny I'm messing everything up you probably told everybody I was really nice guy so respectful and then alright so now I wrote down the name Matt and on the left side and and I look Jose over net and I met you Matt before so it's not I'm just want to see if it's somebody on the left side is there a Matt over there because otherwise I'll just prophesy to him but I won't give I won't give myself credit for the word of knowledge so all right is there a Matt no no shiny lights stop it yeah in Boston we call that you are being a wisenheimer stop being a wisenheimer okay all right is there Matt left side otherwise okay it's gonna be this man what's it but that's that Matt you're mad right because I talked to you before but I wrote it down during worship but I saw him when I stood up here and I'm like oh that's not fair because I knew his name before so all right I'll give myself 50% credit for knowledge because I didn't know you would sit over there but anyway hi Matt everybody say hi Matt okay so Matt I don't I don't know much about you just told me a couple things that I won't tell to people about here you know I know your security I whatever I saw the word consultant over your head and I saw the word trainer over your head and I feel like the Lord's gonna use you actually he's putting you through a new season of a higher level of training so that you can train others and I feel like this is actually an increase in the marketplace grace it's on your life and there was a time whenever you felt like you had to make a choice between sort of ministry calling a marketplace calling and I feel like the Lord said you don't even have to make that choice anymore because they're both they're merging into one in this season and I feel like the Lord is creating new space for you I feel like there's some traveling coming to your training in this next season and it's going to connect you with a greater sphere of influence that God has called you to because I feel like your haven't just you aren't just called to train people for the marketplace but you're called to actually take marketplace principles and bring them into the Christian sphere in the church sphere and I feel ultimately what you're gonna do is to help to raise up the level of excellence of leadership in the church by the leadership principles that you're learning in the marketplace and you're going to help to be a consultant to church leaders that need to develop a stronger leadership environment and so is this making sense to you or am I just rambling I am rambling but it makes sense okay and I feel like there's I feel like there's assignment an assignment that's coming to you even farther south and it's in Southern California I feel like that's going to connect you with some denominational movements and that you're going to as you bring leadership principles you're actually going to be releasing revival into movements that have never experienced revival before and that leadership is your on-ramp to revive to bring a revival culture into the church and also into the marketplace and so God we just thank you for format we thank you for the season of I feel like the Lord is going to start to cause there to be such increase in your life and even blessing in your life and I feel like the Lord doesn't want you to apologize for the blessing that's coming your way because he's going to cause you to prosper even as your soul prospers you're gonna prosper and there's a prosperity that's coming on you that's actually going necessary for you for the next level of influence that God has given to you so we just bless you Matt in Jesus section your mark okay is there no the mark just one mark and is there a sally well that's an not a name I usually write down but it is there Sally no Sally okay and that name does that name Sally doesn't mean anything to you okay mark alright buddy say hi mark okay you must be important here in the front row I don't know what you do but yeah so mark let me just take a look at you hey you know and Mark who's this nice lady next to you that's your height amber say hi Tami how cool Tami Wow well now I got it thunder and lightning so yeah so here's first let me talk to Tammy okay mark maybe it was Tammy I'm supposed to talk to you but I just got the word knowledge for you so Wow so cool what you guys do and so cool what you guys carry so there's a it's the spirit of Revelation on you and there's a spirit of truth that's on you and you guys are going to be able to carry revelation and truth and when they're mixed together they release freedom to captives and so I really feel like this is a time where mark I feel like there's a new grace coming on writing and I feel like there's before it was almost like I saw you doing kind of training manuals but I feel like the Lord is going to release something that's actually going to be something fresh and new that is going to be transferable even to other spheres of influence even outside of just the church world and I feel like that God's about to take you into a place where you're going to be able to take spiritual principles of freedom and wholeness and bring them into marketplace settings that they've never been before outside on this the sphere of the church and I also feel like there's a a grace for theological purity on you that you're going to be able to help there to be a fullness of Spirit while there's a purity of doctrine if you will an orthodoxy there's an orthodoxy that you're going to help to bring into places and then Tammy I saw the Lord do you have an issue with either one of your niece right now physically because I saw the Lord put his hands on your knees so I don't I always ask if it's physical first of all because I tend to be more literal in my pictures so it must have to do with interest and the intercessory gift and calling it's on your life I tend to go literal first because I don't just want to make things a metaphor so it's just my natural way my natural mind works so the but the intercessory calling that's on your life is about to go generational and so I feel like there's some things even that God's done over the last five to seven years it's almost had to purify the prophetic intercessory gift to bring it to a place of maturity and now it's he's about to release a new generation of prophetic intercessors but actually you have a you have them sort of a geographic intercessory gift and and I feel like the Lord is increasing your geographic sphere I see you like kind of like almost like hovering over through a three dimensional sort of map and I feel like the Lord is raising you up higher to a level where literally there's assignments in geographic regions not just of this state but of the world that God is not just assigning YouTube this some of the stuff I told you but I want to give some understanding to it because you know this but there's an understanding the understanding is this is that there's an authority and prayer to activate the spiritual forces of heaven in those areas and so the prayers right now aren't just about they're not just from earth to heaven they're actually from heaven to earth that are coming and I see really having access to some places geographically and you'll actually go in before teams will be sent in you'll go sort of as the Air Force goes in drops the bombs and then the ground troops come in and I feel like it's time to train the new generation of the Air Force so and as you train the next generation of the Air Force then the next generation of ground troops will be able to be released and so yeah father and I feel like there's some even increase of the writing gift all around the training manual of intercession and then the training of intercessors that is is going to impact even the some of the traditional ways that we've prayed that was that's your ritual I'm gonna you put it in quotes spiritual warfare is not gonna be earth to heaven but it's actually gonna be heaven to earth and it's going to release literally the keys of the kingdom are being given to you and what you bind will be bound and what you loose will be loosed and so father we just thank you for that in Jesus name Amen amen cool cool people very cool I feel like even some of that mister I talked about earlier very very much part of your story so that's cool so is there uh on the right side is there a Laura Laura Laura Laura what are you are you Laura or Lori who's Lori is there Lori okay cuz I wrote is it la la you re RIE and is that you thank you lau RIE yeah okay so there's one she's on the right sorry Lori okay so yet so you can you stand up so I could see who I'm speaking to cool I just saw your house and I saw it being filled with wisdom and I feel like there's a scripture about wisdom is hewn its Seven Pillars or something like that and I feel like the Lord is gonna give you seven pillars of wisdom that will build your house but that people will come like into your house will learn and gain wisdom not just be educated but have wisdom and you're raising up a generation it's going to walk in wisdom and will actually bring a foundational some foundational truths that their generation that won't be shaken and what I feel like this has to do is that you're going to help a generation be established in the wisdom of identity be established in the wisdom of morality be established in the wisdom of their inheritance in God and I feel like that the the Lord is going to give you an anointing for the next generation that will break through the limitations that have been put on them even naturally and what that has to do with is God is about to show you the generational blessings that you have been given in Christ and I feel like there has been a season a time where you've had to work through sort of the generational negative patterns and you've identified those but I feel like the Lord wants you to begin to identify generational blessings and when you do you're going to see an exponential blessing come on your family and there's three things are gonna happen first there's gonna be a spiritual returning of those that have been away second there's going to be a restoration of things that have been lost particularly in the area of property and and land and third there's going to be a justice that comes and I saw these scales of justice over your head usually that has to do with either a spiritual or legal natural legal dispute so if there's anything that's been held up in the courts of heaven or the courts of earth or injustice that's come against you God is convening the court of heaven now the judge the father sitting and the Advocate Jesus is coming in and the accuser is being hurled down and you've already overcome him by the blood of the land the word of your testimony and laying down your life and so now justice is coming to you and this has to do with a family situation that God is about to bring justice to and so well or we just declare justice coming I'll have some free stuff if you guys like free stuff okay cool I want to give you a couple things that I'm gonna this is going to be a way for me to practice words of knowledge for birthdays because usually words of knowledge for names I'm like around 75% issue you know I'm not supposed to keep score but it's just in my head like because my one of my five top leadership strengths this competition what which means I'm not allowed to compete with people but I turn everything into a game that's how I how I deal with the dark side of that is I flip it and like it's fun it's a game it doesn't matter if you win just play all right you with me that's how I'm wired God made me that way it's cool but I will beat you if I have to all right no it's good it's good all right so this is my books called Think Like Heaven Think Like Heaven and the subtitles change your thinking change your world I wanted to call it think like heaven don't stink like hell but publishers said no you can't do that so it comes from Isaiah 55 that says my thoughts are not your thoughts my ways are not your ways as high as the heavens are from the earth are my thoughts from your thoughts my ways from your ways which tells us two things you're you're thinking precedes your action so what you think you'll do secondly God thinks differently he thinks higher and he actually invites us into his way of thinking it's not a condemnation it's a invitation if you will you can think like me let the righteous forsake their let the wicked forsake their thoughts the righteous forsake their ways that's the Old Covenant perspective the New Covenant perspective would be this hey you're not wicked don't think like that anymore you're righteous don't act like that anymore right so you have an invitation into righteous thinking and righteous actions which is pretty awesome so what I love about this is it's a practical mystic book so I talk about what heaven is but I also describe you know what are some other wait places that thoughts come from and I give examples to in in history and on science and technology marketplace stuff for that maybe I'll share with one later on but it's it's a I called a practical mystical book it describes how we can actually access the things of heaven but let me just give you one practical way I love what Diana said today about transformational thinking here's one one place where we get transformational thoughts all the time that we miss this is true scientific study I believe was Cornell University did this study that 50% of the hours that you are awake you daydream you're daydreaming 50% of the hours you're awake all right now I'm looking at some of you thinking that's more like 75% no thank you so she beats 50% of the time that I'm talking to you're checked out you're gone you're somewhere else right which is okay because I'm gone too I'm totally I'm totally gone so when you are daydreaming your parts of your brain are communicating that don't communicate at any other time it's a completely different level of thought going on and it's completely creative it's so you bypass some of that critical thinking who's talking about some more probably more right brain or cyclical so you guys ever hear post-it notes post-it notes were invented by a guy who was daydreaming in church pastors preaching is in the atmosphere of heaven his mind drifts he invents them a billion-dollar product just saying if you happen to daydream tonight and come up with a billion dollar idea Bob Daisley ministries the mission malkov Oh Dan all these guys just saying it happens think like heaven what would Jesus do so this is really it's a practical mystical book op but I like to I could hand this to someone sitting next to me in first class and they would understand it because it's really a practical way of understanding that sometimes we have thoughts that come from other places and sometimes they're from good places and so we hadn't learned how to take captive thoughts and then cast away vain imaginations so some thoughts you throw away sometimes some thoughts you can happier and when you capture me bring them in obedience of Christ it's a way of thinking like heaven so I'm gonna give this to someone let's see anybody have a birthday March 12 see I'm usually about one out of three on birth dates which if I was a baseball player be really good but just not so nobody March 12th okay that's all right so let's do it this way how about someone here who okay anybody here that's a fitness coach fitness coach yeah your fitness coach yeah is your birthday March 12 oh yeah wow you're so honest that's awesome like do you train people do fitness training okay come get this book now okay well I'm only only a part-time millionaire so yeah so the thing is this is very selfish for me to do but bless you so you train people body-mind-spirit go do it all right good good job because if you saw what you reap and so I figure if I give it to someone who exercises I don't have to exercise it's completely selfish all right this is a that's brilliant thinking the art of brilliant thing it's artificial thinking transform your body are you giving away books this is called heaven majors my wife's CD my wife Kim my personal stories I grew up having nightmares night terrors and we had kids and we didn't want them to have nightmares night terrors so we would pray over there every night but my wife would sing prophetic songs over them at night and my kids never had nightmares that in fact their dreams from God both my kids are dreamers they process differently with dreamers my wife's a dreamer she reads three times twice a night actually usually twice yeah that's why I travel a lot kisi she wakes me up sometimes honey are you awake ahead of dream no I'm not you just said no you must be awake anyway so we interpret dreams in the morning but we have hundreds of testimonies of children being healed of night terrorists trouble sleeping even parents and grandparents anybody have a child having trouble sleeping here yes us we're so tired we need to sleep yeah gonna give this to you and then I have a book that goes with that I'm gonna give to somebody I bless you my pleasure my pleasures back there it's called heaven mate heaven made you actually my daughter teaches kindergarten and they have to track in their computer the kids that take naps and went since she started working there she started playing that kids that never took naps started taking naps so they the administrators made it a required CD for all of their classes they call it the magic CD they they used to call it the Jesus CD now they call it the magic CD they're like just put the magic CD on that kid will sleep so it really does have a grace please don't use that CD when you're operating heavy equipment or driving your car cuz you might fall asleep all right and then my wife did a picture book it's just to give identity to children she just has a passion to release the identity children anybody have a child this is a surfeit I have February 4th so either your birthday and you have a child or you have a child as a birthday February 4th or you just want to what is it is if you have a child that this would make sense to be a little kid yeah I mean this is probably like 5 or under is someone that you could give this to you yeah and what was what's what's the birthday of the grandson oh well I'll give it to you anyway it's fine I don't have it barge Oh March 12th looks good all right so that's over too with birthdays so this one must be right this one has to be right for sure this one's called the river my ice know newest CD it's the oil of joy for mourning she made this during a time of loss in her life and it's all instrumental except for one so it's credible really powerful oil of joy released through this instrumental you guys know Bishop Garlington Joseph Garlington so she did this with Clarence if you ever ever watched Clarence in the background and George his worship minister it's a beautiful beautiful only one song has words to it but it's it really is joyful like I'm not a joyful person it makes me amen hey thanks for letting me do my comedy routine first I appreciate it comedy spiritual gift routine we're talking about transformation abrasive transformation really excited about this topic I have some things I've talked about in this I want to share with you but there's some things that are just new I'm gonna kind of process with you if that's okay and then I really believe the Lord is gonna release an atmosphere tonight and there's two things I'm going to end with I hope that's going to take us into an atmosphere and then tomorrow I want to talk about some things in the morning what to do in that atmosphere see a lot of times we think Oh transformational thinking I'm gonna get all the answers that I need I just need one thought from God and I get all the answers I need wrong one thought from God creates two had new questions you've never had before transformational thinking actually is not about getting answers it's about asking new questions and and and that's really what the space I want to create for you so actually you're gonna leave here scratching your head but tomorrow I'm going to tell you what to do with that space so hopefully what I want to do is open our minds up for me and it's just my process so I'm gonna bring you into my process a little bit so transformation say transformation okay so that comes with two words the word trans everybody say trans so I know it means something else in the culture today but here's what it means it means beyond say beyond so when you go trans something you go beyond something say beyond okay so formation safe formation now there's a lot of definitions as the one I like the best is the genesis of something transformation to go beyond the Genesis if you want to get where you've never gone before you got to go beyond where you've been before right and so you need to go beyond your Genesis to get to your revelation so to speak if you will right you need to go beyond where it all started to discover what needs to be created go beyond the genesis of something so when you get beyond your Genesis when you get beyond how it started you can see where God wants to take it when you get beyond what happened you can see what is about to become when you get beyond what people said to you you can hear what he wants to say to you turn to the person next to you say get beyond it we all say get over it it's okay to get over it but it's better to get beyond it because the thing that happened to you isn't something you just have to get over is actually put there to actually launch you into where you're going so if you want to get over it you're trying to forget something you're if you forget it then you actually haven't you haven't accessed what God put it there the grace of God put in there for it to catapult you some here because what happened what was said what was done the genesis of something was supposed to take you somewhere if you just get over it you haven't actually steward it what happened and so you actually may have to repeat it again because you got over it but you never got beyond it and some people get over stuff but they never get beyond it like yeah I get over it you know that person not gonna bother me anymore I'll get rid of toxic people that's the thing right now get rid of toxic people how weak are you like you are powerful you mean a person can actually poison you no no I am and I am an antidote to toxic people so I'm just saying like I get it I get I and the idea that I can't let you know you can't let people the way that identify you in your last season keep you from getting into your next season but that doesn't make them toxic it just makes them ignorant they just keep being who you are they can't hold you back that's there's a little bit of the self-care stuff that's come into the church recently that for me is not Kingdom because we want to get over stuff that God wants us to get beyond I know I just crushed something I'm so bad at that because somebody really liked that teaching here and I'm sorry see one more to post about toxic people it's like you be toxic you're not gonna bother like oh let's just bring a little sugar on you and make you sweet talks and whatever Botox how about that say I'm getting beyond it you see when you get beyond what you were born to be you can discover what you're created to be you don't want to get over what you were born to because you were born to bead helps you discover what you're created to be but when you get beyond it when you get beyond your Genesis you discover what you are created to be and when you would discover what you're created to be you discover what you're created to create and you're not gonna create from what you were born to be but what you're born to be actually is the catalyst to discover what you're created to be because what you're born to be sometimes frustrates you and that frustration is what is the catalyst for you discover what you're actually created to be and so when you discover what you're created to be then you can create so you have to get beyond to discover you have to get beyond what you were born to be to discover what you were created to be you have to get beyond what you've experienced to discover what you can encounter your experience can keep you from your encounter but you don't want to get over your experience you want to get beyond your experience which means your experience was important but your encounter has to be discovered and so you have to get beyond what happened so you can discover what's about to happen you have to get beyond what you have so that you can discover the things that you already have been given but you don't know you have but you're focused on what you have because when you focus on what you have then you also Kisan what you don't have which is that that scarcity thinking but when you can get beyond what you have and what you don't have you can discover what you've already been given because most of what we're trying to get we already have we just haven't accessed and that's a different part of transformational thinking even this like how in heaven comes to earth I understand the concept of it because we're we're dealing in a time temporal sphere and we're thinking of heaven up here coming to earth but what if heaven is actually here what if it's actually in the same plane just a different dimension maybe we don't have to get somewhere maybe we just have to realize we are somewhere maybe it's just a different perspective because when that happens a lot of times did you ever have like you get a car and you drive it off the lot and then you realize like everybody has this car like I am such a trendsetter like I just got this new car and then and now everybody has the same car as me in the same color because I'm such a trendsetter did you ever think that or you start to wear a piece of clothing you're like what everybody has I am I'm a fashion you know pioneer though it's it has to do with awareness because when you become aware of something now you start to access it in others places and when you start to access it now you start to form opinions or Authority around that thing because I know that car I Drive that car have that car I know how that car works right and so when you become aware of something you can access it and when you access that you have a measure of authority around that thing is the same thing in the spiritual realm when you become aware of what you have been given or where you are or the space around you then you begin to access it more easily and when you start to access it now you have a measure of authority around that and I think a lot of times what we call miracles or just accessing things that were already there just we became aware that it was available and then when we become available we exercise authority around it because by His stripes you were healed it's not just a different tense it's a different perspective and so there's a lot of things we've been given but you got to get beyond what you have to discover what you've already been given that you don't have so we need to get beyond the Genesis in a sense is it's kind of you can take this biblically in Genesis is where we see the spirit or heaven come and breathe into Earth and bring transformation right let there be light and darkness turns to lie chaos turns to order emptiness turns to resource dirt and dust turns to the image and likeness of God when heaven comes to earth but if you go to the end to Revelation it's more about Earth becoming heaven like the new heavens and the new earth so it wasn't just spirit coming into flesh but it was actually the temporal realm becoming the spirit realm where before was the spirit realm Jesus in the beginning was the word the Word was with God and the word became so the spirit became flesh but what we're about is actually realizing we live in the flesh but were spirit because I love 1st Corinthians 15 it's it's a freaky passage it talks about the first Adam the second half the first Adam was a living soul but the second Adam was a the first Adam was a breathing soul the second Adam is a living spirit and you are not of the first Adam you are of the second Adam which means you're not just from Genesis you're not just a breathing soul you are a Zoe numa you're you are living spirit and if the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you it will quicken your mortal body I have the Zoe Numa life of to me I have the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead I can be nine hours and then three hours than that in another time zone but if I realize I'm seated with Christ in heavenly places and I have enough caffeine in my system then I'm good to go it's just saying transformation is when we bring the temporal realm into the spirit realm and it's transformed not just that we bring the spirit realm down into the temporal realm but what did how did Jesus transform five rows of two fish he took it up into the spirit realm and then it was transformed so that's the first step of transformation what Moses he went into the unseen and what did he come out with he came out with an architectural plan to build a heavenly tabernacle on earth he went into the silence and what did he come out with he came out with the voice of God written on stone he went up into aloneness and what did he come out with a plan let's take a look at that real quick Exodus 33 18 it's a very familiar passage to you guys I'm sure it's a simple scripture I'm going to talk to you just for a second about this because Moses was I think the most transformative leader in the Old Covenant the reason I believe is the most transformative leader in the Old Covenant was because of this encounter and Moses had some pretty powerful encounters he was a guy who he had an encounter with God when he was in a basket in the in the Nile River and he had been marked in the natural he'd been marked his generation was marked for destruction but God had marked him for something in his generation that was totally different and that tells us that sometimes what we were born to be marked for destruction actually when we get beyond it were marked for something completely different so what where Pharaoh had marked him for destruction God marked him for distinction and the basket he had an encounter with God in that Nile River and on his he was marked to be destroyed in the Nile River where did they the babies in the nile river where did God deliver him from the Nile River because the very thing that the devil marks you for destruction for guard marks you for distinction for so the thing that you're marked would be to be destroyed by is the thing when you get beyond it you're actually marked to be distinct in your generation to deliver people from it I'm gonna get beyond it and when I get beyond it I discover what I'm marked for distinction for in my generation but if I can't get beyond the destructive mark that the devil put on me I'll never discover the distinctive purpose that I've been born for and so Moses has this transformative moment he has another transformative moment when he's standing in front of the burning bush and here he is he's actually been marked to be a deliverer right he's marked for distinction to be a deliverer and he's delivered out from he's viler out from the Nile River and he's he's given the robes of royalty he's given a staff of royalty and then the very thing that he's marked to do one day he sees a Hebrew slave driver or a gypsy slave driver beating a Hebrew slave and something rises up in him because he's marked to be a deliverer but he hasn't yet process the pain of the of the way he was born he hasn't process the pain of what happened to his people and so when God can mark you but if you haven't yet matured through the process what you'll do is you'll take your mark you'll take your calling you'll take your purpose and through the pain you'll turn it into a weapon and he took it that he got frustrated and the pain caused him to respond in the flesh and the natural what he was called to be a spiritual deliverer and he took the same gift that he was given to be a deliverer and he killed the slave and so or the slave driver he was a fugitive now in the wilderness and now he's got a different robe a shepherd's robe and he's got a different rod he's got a shepherd's rod it's it's the clothing of failure it's the it's the rod of a failed promise a failed purpose and he stands before God and God says what's in your hand my failure my frustration the result of my unprocessed pain here here's what happened yeah give it to me and what does God do he he transforms his failure into authority he transforms his frustrated dreams into purpose and he gives him a new rod the same rod that was that rod of failure was the rod that part of the Red Sea is the rod they smote the rock and the water came out it was the rod and so these are transformative moments but for me I think this is the most transformative moment is when God and Moses had this encounter in Exodus 33 and Moses makes one request one question one request Exodus 33 18 then Moses said now everybody say now you know there has to be a now request that comes out of your mouth sometimes you just have to say you know what the devil did this to me but now show me what you want to do now like god I screwed up I failed over here I did this thing to this person I said the wrong thing but now because if you believe that what God is about to say when you say now show me your glory what God is about to do is greater than what was done to you or what you did you are about to move into a place of transformation and he he gets beyond it he gets beyond what happened to him he gets beyond what he did and he says now show me he could have asked for a whole bunch of things couldn't he show me how to be a better leader show me how to get to the promised land look if it was me he's got people he knows the situation where's that sorry I was probably bothering you more than me if not bothered me but I'm behind it so Moses is up there and three things are happening first of all he there's a mutiny down there and his people don't want to follow him anymore and they're starting to curse his name and they're saying who's this Moses guy secondly they don't have food or water to feed the people thirdly they're stuck in the wilderness and don't know the way to get there now if it's me if it's me as a leader if it's me as a pastor I would say now show me where the food is give me some DEET cuz you know like drew I get hangry I'm just saying like show me some food or now show me how to kill these people without getting in trouble like show me how to lead these people like show me who's with me tell me tell me who's like tell me who's gonna split the church tell me who's really with me or not tell me like if my staff is gonna go against me tell me if I should get rid of my brother show me or show me the way out of this wilderness just show me how to get you could have asked a lot of things in fact one of the things he says it's Lord if you're pleased with me show me your ways everybody say ways I love that Moses asked that question because there's a lot of questions you could ask you said God tell me what the plan is anyone like to know the plan I'm one of those guys I always like to know the plan just show tell me what the plan is tell me what to do tell me how to get there tell me how to fix it tell me what I did wrong Moses didn't say any of that said show me your ways and so he asked god this question show me your glory and out of this encounter Exodus 33 out of this encounter I just want to tell you what comes out of this because he didn't ask for any of it he asked for one thing show me your glory out of this encounter comes a plan for a representation of government judicial reform personal property rights compassionate Mahlon monetary policy care for the poor and disadvantaged compassionate immigration policy groundbreaking architecture creative fashion design and all the women said Amen and the guys too I got like fashion homeopathic medicine came out of the conversation that conversation that God has after he says show me your glory came just warfare and warfare capabilities freedom of speech principles religious expression sustained family structures everything that has to do with art science education government family faith business you know the deal right show me your glory I wonder if the reason that we aren't thinking differently is that we're not asking the right questions maybe we're asking God show me how to get my breakthrough God show me how to get the house you promised me God and I think God wants to do all that stuff to be honest with you I think God's into the stuff he loves it cuz when you get your promises fulfilled he gets glory but Moses said God show me your glory now when you read this in the in the New Testament there's a little bit different take on it if you will and I just want to have a New Testament little perspective here for a second in Romans second Corinthians chapter 3 17 and 18 it says this now the Lord is the spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty but we with unveiled face beholding as in the mirror the glory of the Lord are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory just as the Spirit of the Lord you're being transferred from glory to glory right and so what it Moses ask show me your glory one of the words and hear the word glorious Shekinah and the new in the New Testament it's doxa but one of them the meanings of the word glory is the reputation or the substance of a thing and so it's hard to understand sometimes biblical words sometimes we have to say stuff in sort of the language of the culture so you know when you're ordering Mexican food you gotta kind of order it with a Mexican accent like you know you don't say give me some enchiladas you know he's saying give me in China you know I'm saying like like you don't say I mean guacamole no it's a guacamole everybody gets a little Spanish when they order Mexican food and then the Mexicans are like what dude what are you talking about and so when you say glory you got to say kind of the way preachers say you don't say glory you say glory so I'm moving from glory to glory every single all right this is that good just feels it feels different like the atmosphere changes it's like go down and the my church were 20 20 percent Latino or like glory hallelujah so glory and especially like an african-american church you may know how to say glory over hey you guys look kind of a furball like a cat go around oh yeah so gonna have to say it but it's not just that you got to understand it and so there's not a lot of natural analogies but let me give you like a quick natural analogy so I could give you like the male analogy for glory or the female version which would you like first the male is a female female okay so I'll give you the male first because the guys have a shorter attention span so it's nothing against you at all here's guys just one word ready this is the glory bacon like at the mention of its name it walks into the room it's just a little Orissa bacon oh good I know when I cook bacon there is a glory cloud in my house I'm just all over my wife's like are you burning something that has the glory honey that's the glory I mean the bake you don't cook bacon and you know eggs and bacon you cook bacon and eggs because you cook the eggs in the glory of the bacon you know I'm saying like when you cook bacon it's one of those things you don't just eat bacon you become bacon like you smell like bacon you're driving to work you're like glory you go to work Wow you have a new cologne yes it's called Colonia hey Louie yeah that's the guy version ladies and not that you don't love bacon and the guys wouldn't understand this but this is really for you you know there's a scientific study it's true this is not just a joke it is a joke but it's so true the longer you're married to someone the more you look like them that's true take a look now unless let's see unless you love your dog more then you look more like your dog than your spouse I'm just saying so if your husband looks more like your dog than you and there's science to that the science is this when you look at someone face to face you start to mimic their facial muscles you actually start to look alike because you're looking at the person long enough because what you look at you look like so we behold you and we are transformed from glory to glory you see Moses had all this stuff come out what did I just the whole list I gave you that was the residue of the glory got on him so he got into the presence and he got the res do of the glory of God but it tells us in second Corinthians that when he laughed he put a veil over his face why because the glory was diminishing some reason I grew up in church heard the story I always thought his face was so bright he had to cover it no his face wasn't shiny anymore that's why he covered it because he didn't want them to see that the glory was diminishing but then it says but not you because you behold him with unveiled face and you are transformed from - isn't that awesome because the glory increases as you go - everybody say - see I love the glory say glory and I love the glory say glory because when you get here it's not glory anymore it's going round you don't just smell like it you are in right so you don't just have the residue but you have residents say residents and so now the glorious residence in me I've been transformed into what he is because as I behold him I become like him and so when I'm going to say - I'm going through something because in order to go - I got to go through and sometimes what you go through keeps you from getting - if you're not looking at the right place transformative thinking comes from a transformative perspective and so I behold him I don't behold what I'm going through I behold him while I'm going through and then when I get here see it's not so much about what I build when I get here it's about Who I am when I get here it's about Who I am because Moses knew where he was going he already told and I'm going to take you to a land flowing with milk and honey I'm not sure why that was so attractive I'm like give a double shot of espresso I'm all over at milk honey espresso called a latte not sure why I'm gonna give you houses you didn't build fields you didn't plan I'm gonna I'm gonna give you land you didn't pay for he knew where he was going he wanted to know who was gonna go with him where and God said my presence will go with you you see God wasn't just taking him to somewhere he was taking him to someone he wanted someone he could go with he wanted a family he could build and I believe that transformative thinking comes with creating this space where we get comfortable in the too because once you get to glory there's always another place to go it's it's typical of our prophetic people we get we're constantly bored so we're always prophesying the next move of God that's why we're in constant transition because we're not were bored in fact this is because it's part of the culture we've actually transitioned to a time I see it's there's no more seasons of transition we are in constant transition that's why I called ever-increasing glory which means you're always going from glory to glory to glory to glory which means you're always going through something cuz you're always going to somewhere so get over it no get beyond it stop saying when am I gonna get through this you're not gonna get through it you're gonna get beyond it it's good because it's a perspective we have to change because there's something that happens in the in between navigating the to navigating it in between is where transformational thinking happens and I want to leave you with something see I believe transformation 50% of it is just showing up Moses what do you want to do I want to be with you all right there's cleft in the rock it's beautiful him by the way he hided my soul in the cleft of the rock covers me there with his hand beautiful song know what that means if you want to know God you're gonna put you in a hole in a rock and then gonna block the exit what is this it's a beautiful hymn I don't know if Charles Wesley wrote it on John wrote it but it's like if you want to know me I'm not gonna let you out till I'm done show me your car seriously just show up God will do the rest you know what the other 50% of transformational thinking is cluelessness seriously he gets in a hole of the rock and then he's like oh this is cool what are we gonna do next hey where'd you go I can't hear you god I can't see you God what's going on God God's like my glory is passing by and he's in silence he's in darkness he's in aloneness what's happening he's unlearning everything he learned so that he can learn something new he's becoming clueless because clueless is the beginning of curiosity it's true I'm gonna talk about that tomorrow because curiosity is I believe one of the things that unleashes these kind of transformational thoughts when you start to ask new questions but you don't ask new questions until all your old answers are taken away and so it feels like punishments not punishment this is good revival happy preaching he wants to put you in a hole in a rock and he wants to keep you in there till he's done because he's doing something what's he doing my goodness will pass before you I will have compassion on who our compassion I have mercy but God I want to see you no one can see my face and a guy want to hear you no one can I'm you can hear me I'm good that's all you need to know when you can't hear me no I'm good when you don't know what I'm doing no I'm compassionate when you don't know what to do no I'm merciful and by the way while you're in there I'm passing by glory is passing by and no one can see my face being lit and but you can see my back or literally translated my afterward my after parked my afterward which tells me something there's an afterword to your cave there's an afterword to your darkness there's an afterword to the silence there's something after when you get beyond it there's something after there's something after say there's something after there's something coming next when you say now show me your glory God puts you in a place where you can't hear but there's an afterword to the silence when you say God show me your glory he puts you in a place where you can't see the way you used to see but there's a sight that comes afterward there's a sight they do you want the old sight do you want the Genesis sight do you want the revelation sight do you want to get beyond what you've seen so you can't see what you've never seen before because I has not seen ear has not heard it's never entered into your imagination the things that God has for you beyond where you are and so God says you will see my afterward that God removes his hand and Moses comes out he says afterward everything looks different afterward he comes with a plan to build a tabernacle afterward he comes with a plan to build a society he's no longer alone he has the pattern for family for community for culture for transformation afterward after it it all comes afterward it all comes afterward it comes after the silence it comes after the darkness it comes after the aloneness there's an afterword you don't have to get stuck in your - but if you don't process through your - you'll never get through who he where he wants to take you there's an afterword and the best thing about afterward it's not about what you see it's about what you look like because then he goes down the people like what happened to you because you went up there and you were grumpy pissy sorry you are a grumpy mean leader and afterward now you look like God you look different afterward you sound different afterward you you act different afterward why because I've been transformed from glory to glory and the good thing is I don't even have the residue now I have the residence can someone say I'm getting beyond my Genesis I'm getting beyond it I'm getting beyond it stand with me to your feet father thank you in Jesus name God that you are just taking away the old answers I can I want to say something to you as you're standing here before I pray I was gonna mention this before maybe I was just in too much of a joking mood now I'm serious I'm very serious about this there are some prophetic promises the church is trying to fulfill that are way beyond their expiration and we need to get beyond him the last twenty years have been amazing I've been it's been so cool as the revival culture that happened I'm so glad to live in the time that lived and I remember the crazy beyond words that were given 20 years ago God is raising up tools for the last day harvest there'll be a billion sold harvest and God is merging the prophetic office with the evangelistic office for a tool of the last day harvest anybody remember that I remember because I was just learning about the prophetic then and discovering a prophetic gift in myself and I remember being so offended by that word that's like extrovert evangelist and an introvert prophet you can't merge them it's like oil and water and what it's got done he's made these hybrids we call them revivalists how many people here are revivalists all of you are shut up and get your hands up how many ever viable this all right if not I'm gonna come out there the Prophet part is gonna whip you into shape now I'm just kidding so we get it there's the last day harvest and there's a billion so I believe it how many people believe there's a billion so we're living in the greatest days of harvest but can I tell you something that the next 20 years is not about the prophetic evangelist we already have a fact we've got too many revivalists look you gonna have a hundred a few enough a billion new souls we gonna do with them all if you don't have homes for I don't say it I've said it privately to a lot of leaders if we don't shift our thinking around revival we're in danger of creating a generation of orphans that have a son and daughter message but have no homes and I think we're not gonna do it we're gonna get it we're gonna totally get it here's why because see III believe the next 20 years God is he's merging the Apostolic office with the pastoral office and so what's gonna what was cool the last 20 years is to be a revivalist I think what's gonna be cool the next 20 years is to be a father and a mother like to make home since so I think you know 20 years ago prophecy wasn't cool it wasn't it was weird nobody wanted to be a prophet now everybody wants me I'm a modern prophet I'm a young prophet I'm a hipster prophet I'm like jeez you know what that's about when I exit when it becomes the cool thing to do I'm like uh-huh my job's done I liked it when it was weird like now I'm just you know the person doing the same thing everybody else is doing I'm not saying it's bad I love it I'm glad that it's become mainstream if you will I think unless it becomes mature it won't be mainstream anymore so I think I'm not looking for modern prophets or young prophets or hip prophets I'm looking for mature prophets because maturity is what's gonna make us look like Jesus that's a side note but what a billion billion so harvest what if you had one hundred thousand episodic pastors pastoral app apostles whatever you call people that emerged in this gift that are builders like Moses right builders they're gonna build something cultures and they each built communities of a thousand hundred thousand times a thousand what do you have 100 million you only have 1/10 of the harvest that's a hundred thousand communities of 1,000 and you only have 1/10 of the harvest here's what I think Dave here's what I think Dano here's what I think I think and I don't think you guys ever thought you miss anything because I think you did you stayed in your lane you did what you're called to do your season is now because you guys are called you're called as builders this is a house it's called to build and I and I really believe God's gonna breathe on the model of maturity that he's given you guys and the grace in which you stood and you've celebrated other people raising up revivalist and you have revivalist but I really believe that there's a grace on this house I'm gonna share this but I don't shared it privately a bunch of times but back in 2015 I think it was they had an event called Azusa now right great stadium event Stadium Christianity that's the prophecy revival is gonna come and we're gonna have stayed in Christianity I love I love when the culture sees us worship I love when we gather together we can change the atmosphere of a city and worship so I was talking to the Lord about it I had a dream here's the dream I had him can tell you the dream what I think it means I was walking through the old city center it was like a post-industrial city city was falling apart buildings were falling down and this middle of the city center was a stage massive stage massive speakers and a speaker was standing there he was prophesying he's a city gatherer a stadium filler guys a transformation guy he's prophesied the city's going to be transformed city's gonna be transformed and as I'm walking toward this backer behind the stage past the stage the buildings are falling down as he's prophesying the city's gonna be transformed and then this the person on the stage morphs and it's a younger generation person standing there saying the same thing big speakers big microphone big stage the city is gonna be transformed the buildings are falling down and I'm looking in the city center and there's no people in front of the stage there's no people there and in my mind I'm thinking where are the people at like where are the people that are gonna transform the city that kept walking and I got to the Main Street when I got to the Main Street I turned the corner and I saw the people they were on the other side of the street and they were on the other side of the street they had erected police barricades and the people were pressing against these barricades but they couldn't get into the city they were locked out of the city and they were calling out to me like reaching out to me and here's what they said it was weird to me as a prophetic person for the last 20 years I said Pastor Bob you have the lettuce into the city you can let us into the city Pastor Bob led us into the city and I woke up from this dream and I said God I don't understand this and and I feel like the Lord said the the the key to city transformation is whenever leaders get healthy and they create healthy families and healthy families create healthy communities and healthy communities create healthy cities and healthy cities are transformed and I felt like the Lord is going to breathe on the pastoral office in this next season if you will and I've said this to some leaders and it's resonated with them just gonna say it we've made the spiritual gifts really sexy if you will like people wanted like [Music] I said the wrong word it's meat God's gonna make pastoring sexy again you make Church sexy again okay and are you guys okay with that like like he's gonna make it like we can raise up a generation Isis I really want to plan a church in the market I really wanted and I'm not saying church has to look a little way look the last 50 years I'm just saying community church family PAP caring for people look doing life together like that's good to be cool again when that happens man we're not just gonna have a billion soul harvest we're actually gonna be able to sustain harvest because it would be a tragedy if we had the tools for harvest and we had harvest that we couldn't sustain and I'm not really interested in a revival that's unsustainable in fact I don't even think I will give us one because he he wouldn't he's not that nasty like that he wants us to have this I think we have an invitation here's what I would ask here's what I would ask if you're willing I've already said lo I'm willing the next 20 years of my life um I'll give up whatever you did the last 20 years you can have it I'm gonna get beyond it doesn't mean I'm not gonna prophesy I'm just saying I want to get beyond it because I don't want to transform the way I think about Church I want to transform the way I think about ministry I want to transform the way I think about the harvest sorry if I get a little too my own space and I will be quite honest with you there's a lot of stuff I'm processing myself and but I don't think I'm just projecting my own personal questions on you right now I do believe the Lord has asked inviting us into some challenging questions that is this perhaps we're really getting weary in well-doing because we're trying to fulfill prophetic words that had it expired maybe Stadium Christianity will be a result of community transformation not the catalyst for it maybe maybe I would say yeah but I'm just gonna let let you ask the questions tomorrow I want us to take a little time and I want us to I want to I want to give you like three questions that you can ask and to lead you into this and it's this is my personal journey and I know what works it's something God led me to but I want to leave you with this one thing and I'm gonna pray for you guys we've had a lot of problems in our state with violence school violence just the town two towns from a Sandy Hook Connecticut a very affluent white community 28 kindergarteners were mowed down by a gunman several years ago affected our church our spanish-language pastor his niece was a teacher there she hit her students in the cabinets and in the bathrooms and told the gunman there in the gym he shot her went to the gym to find the kids couldn't find him she died saved her whole classroom just a few weeks after that in our high school in the exact city where our church is was junior prom a young lady had broken up with her boyfriend started dating a kid in our youth group a couple weeks before the junior prom the day of the junior prom her ex-boyfriend came to school with a knife and said will you go to the prom with me and she said no he stabbed her gutted or right there in the hallway she bled out and died and I got a call happen to be in town that day from our family life pastor he said we're gonna go to the school they cancelled the junior prom but we're gonna go to the gym where they were gonna hold it we're gonna counsel the kids kids found out we were going so they all went to the beach to hold a memorial service we went to the gym nobody's there so a couple pastors from our church night said let's go to the beach they had 300 junior highers there are juniors I should say not junior juniors in high school doing a memorial service so the police were there and the parents were there gave them space and they did a beautiful just time there the news was there but the police kept them at a distance and ma the faming life passed and I were standing there he happened a lot of our pastors they have clerical collars because in our area it's a highly catholic area so they just wear him to go the hospital and things like that and and so one of the teachers having to be standing there at the end of the memorial and and she looked at the family life pastor she said are you a father and he was starting to say like no i'm he explained who he was and I stopped and said yes he is and he looked at me like yeah you have two daughters I know them you're a father so she's like father would you yes he is she said father would you pray to close the memorial service he said I'd love to and the news was recording it and all the kids had their phones out and the mother of the girl who was murdered saw it and she asked him to do the memorial and about four thousand people from our community gathered for this memorial service and our family life pastor got to give hope and speak about life and resurrection and the good news the gospel it was at that time you remember that movie that came out I think heaven is real or heaven like that and he got this idea you know these kids need to see this movie so they had to cancel or postpone their prom so he decided you know to talk to our church and we sponsored for I think it was like 300 seats in the movie theater so they announced it in school within five minutes three our tickets were gone he called him and said the tickets are gone we've sponsored another theater six hundred seats that those were gone they said well they act they called the theaters that how many theaters can we get this at four so they got two businesses of sponsor 1200 high school students went to see this movie and the news came and and they were interviewing our family I passed and what they did was actually opened up the church hall with all the games in the gym and everything afterwards so the kids could go there and the news was recording all this and it turned into like this totally good yeah you have to understand the state we live in it's not it's not like it's not Bible Belt it's not Texas it's but weathers deep darkness arise shine for your light has come here's what I'm saying we have the solutions right we have the solutions we just gotta show up just show up what if we weren't there and and be clueless enough to be like I don't know what to do I have a caller what it's in your hand and I have I don't know it's just a stick alright that'll work and I feel like there are some things that we are scratching our head and I'm you know I'm I'm old enough to realize how clueless I really am you know what you're a kid you're super curious and you ask questions like why or where are we going what are we gonna get there what are we gonna do after that and that's that's more because you want to make sure you get what you need and then you kind of get older and you're kind of like I don't want to ask those questions anymore so you be like here's what I'm gonna do is what I'm gonna do when I get there I got the answer even though you don't you fake it till you make it you know what I'm saying and then you kind of reach another place in your life where you're like yeah you know what I really don't know what is going on like I kids are leaving home and getting older not sure what's next graduated got my degree got a good job houses almost paid off not sure what to do next that's an awesome place for transformation to take place because you get clueless again you get cured and if you get clothes again you start to get curious again that's the space he's inviting us into so here's what I'm gonna pray God if they're not clueless make them clueless if they're not scratching their head give them something to scratch their head about God if they think they got it all figured out [Music] give them a couple years to get it but God thank you but you do not leave us without hope oh god I asked right now [Music] there would be a cry of our hearts that Moses crying show me your glory say that with me careful what you ask for no really really it's a good thing but it that cloud let me tell you first when you get in there you're just like oh look at that glory cloud then you're in there you're like I can't see the way I used to see God I still I gotta have your glory in my life god I gotta look like you afterward god I gotta sound like you afterward god I'm just not satisfied thank you for the last 20 years thank you for every promise fulfilled thank you God that you're faithful concerning your promises thank you you're not slow concerning your promises thank you that every promise of God is yes to which we say men thank you thank you thank you thank you with gratitude we say thank you thank you for pulling us out of the basket thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you for taking our failed try at giving ourself a mantel and a rod of authority and still taking it and breathing on it and somehow setting people free somehow using our efforts to try to walk on water yet flailing around to to get us to the other side thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you but God I know there's something beyond this I know there's something beyond this thank you for the last 20 years of revival thank you for a new thank you for Toronto thank you for Brownsville thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you for the fathers and mothers that are now patriarchs thank you thank you that they said such a good example for us thank you that their character their characters match their gift their integrity as much a gift thank you God but there has to be something beyond thank you for prophecy and signs and wonders and miracles thank you for merging these off it first of all thank you for helping us recognize the restored and thank you for helping us to somehow operate in them it and thank you for beginning to establish some mature expression in them God but there's something beyond it there's something beyond that there's something beyond it and I'm not gonna stop I'm not gonna stop stumbling around in the dark I'm not gonna stop mumbling in the silence I'm not gonna stop reaching my hand out what feels like isolation to grab the person next to me just grab the hand of the person next to me don't I thank you we are not a even though we're going through something into something we're not alone thank you even though it feels it feels like cluelessness I think you got it's turning into curiosity I thank you that is turning into expectation and hope I thank you that it's turning into the just the unseen I thank you God I thank you thank you I think you were gone beyond the genesis of this thing we're going beyond what I has seen we're going beyond what ear is heard we're going beyond anything that's ever entered into our imagination and God thanks for letting us just sound like we have it figured out and we could fake it till we make it a nod thanks for helping us you know look so cool with our words of knowledge and our and our healing and our manuals and and I gotta thank you that there are some things that we've learned and that we could celebrate that but don't let what we know keep us from what you want to show us and don't let what we've experienced keep us from a new encounter God because I can't stop now I can't stop now God there are men and women here costume everything for revival cause some friendships and denominations and ordinations it costs them stuff God we gain so much more but God don't let this generation get a cheap revival don't let them don't let them get it get an encounter that costs them nothing God let them experience the fullness of who you are that comes in dying let them fullness the experience the fullness of maturity that comes through God through through going through secret places and and Lord what is done in secret is reward in public we understand that God but God don't let us raise a generation that doesn't understand process and don't let us raise a generation that forgets the secret place and don't let us raise a generation that doesn't know how to get back in the glory because the songs that transform come from the secret place and and the sermons that transform come from the secret place and the signs and wonders that transform they come from the secret and take us to that place to that secret place so we can be like you take us beyond just they take me beyond amen I kept you away too long sorry about that but I'm Way more tired than any of you guys so and I'm the first
