hey guys welcome to this blender tutorial and today we're going to be we're going to learn how to make further realistic der beautiful let's do it so first thing we want to do is set up the scene delay everything at playing camera [Music] freeze zeros now you are in the camera gzip key no mouse button to zoom out and then you should have the same something like this now this stage we can get into is now forming the ground into shape so we want to click it click the plane you want to go tap into inner mode right click subdivide six times two three four five six get back to ten and then click the modify attack go add subdivision surface so now let's put that down to the one we want to add a displace modifier you get a we'd result like this you want to click new you want to click this button here which will take you straight to the pictures then you want to click the clout beautiful so we have some flunkies doesn't around look like that's fine make it look like federalist grants over here sorry so you want to go into first you wanna go back to tap when I click the mesh you want to go to shading and make it smooth smooth faces beautiful absolutely gorgeous cops well so now you can actually manipulate the ground form through these extra absolutely made technology so let's just go through it or even something like this form I reckon we should bump the depth up to about five that's great maybe four we can change it later go back to the modifier change the strength to about that's good point 4.35 it's probably the best voice seen so if you go to the rendering tab and change the render engine two cycles and then click it the rendering tab you should have a result like this so nothing's happening cuz we don't have proper lighting which will sort out soon but now we're gonna go to the teachers face just want to make sure we're on the same page now texturing let's do it so you have something like this and now we want to go split this screen we want to go to shading editor wrong idiot so yeah beautiful change this to shading editor beautiful and then you want to click them the mesh new material so now you'll get a principal shader ready for you to play around with now we want to activate Oh drank a lot so if you go to blend up edit preferences Adams any type of load Wrangler check this because they'll make your life easier and your life's probably really already complicated because you're watching this tutorial click the move material no principle shade on and click ctrl T now this is because of the no train delay you can add the texture mapping and image texture coordinates ready for you to use by just clicking ctrl T now I'll provide you guys with the texture under the link or somewhere if you just maybe email me on something like looted now we want to go to the modifier tab you want to add another subdivision surface you want to make sure that that's on top of the displacement leave it at one for now so you have something like this yep so now you want to add another displacement modifier and inste click new and then you click this button here and instead of changing so in my automatic alerts cloud change it through image or maybe go to open and then open go to bump and you click that one then you should get something like this it should look miserable similar to [Music] people's expectations now go back to the modifier stack put this down to point zero five behind us now you want to change this here to UV and if you go to solid you have something like this and there if we bump this up again thank you that looks absolutely gorgeous we got each bump from each pebble in the texture and its water consistent with the texture we are using to make the ground now we've got these weird bumps which has given me a heart attacks we might not even need to turn this on to be honest so if you tank turns off yet that would get rid of it and then we can yep so you want to take aways subdivision surface you might if you want to add it later that's up to you or what you can do is you go to the displacement the or the first one and change the depth to three which will just solve the issue of having this weird unnecessary distortions so now you should have something like this and these are the options you can see now it and you will render it something like this so it still can't see much because we need a light this scene and that's what we're gonna do now yeah we are going to see so how are we gonna like to see now what you want to do is you want to add HDRI and in this scene you know it's up to you but we're gonna add for this tutorial a a HDRI honest answer so you want to change from from the shading options we want to change it to object to willed and then you want to click this background like this one here using non regular and click ctrl T and now you have an image and also map the hedges are I will open it this is the one I'm going to use which is from the website pink HDR Haven so you want to go back so you should have something like this and you wanna grab these three positioning and click the ground image drag the color into the normal now it should look absolutely distance so what you have is about the texture limits you've got the mapping you at the ground you got the bunk any but the principal Hader simple not too complicated but very effective and now you want to go with this smaller we don't need the UVs at the moment so what we're gonna do years sorry Gotham still muted it's good so what you want to do [Music] beautiful back to the render tab you should have something like this so the bump is a bit strong so it's on one nail what you want to do is probably put it down [Music] something like that and you can always change the strength of the Brittain you [Music] I'm beautiful so this is probably on for probably be too much but you're gonna leave it for whatever you want we're actually getting quite realistic results yeah so this is actually pretty good but it's also you gotta can consider the positioning of the lighting and also the camera so what we're gonna do is now fix up the lighting and the setup again so it's just like almost like Pelin so click the camera you want to rotate it x-axis you're not nervous take the cam settings changed from the focal length of 50 I would say actually 75 75 is actually quite reasonable in my personal opinion you want a position at something like that and you want to go to depth of field you wanna change the distance meters that's pretty good long bad and good slice don't elective that right head on the date access if you want and then fingers it's actually super strong if scope to the lower the f-stop the higher that the Pacific feel that high the below I want to change it something like that now I want to change actual material color because the color seems to be B to D saturated and lot and dirty enough so we want to go back to the shadow knows and we'll get a add mixed shader not some extent a mix idea and click that there so we're gonna do that we're gonna change the bottom color true almost ready orange you want to click down the desaturation so you don't desaturate it so it's now become like a creamy color and then down the valley and you should have something like that maybe desaturate a bit more because gives a bit of doing I can do beautiful so you should have something like that we want to change the camera again as a new item something like that we want to now change the lighting just a little bit and by doing and not the actual lighting but the actual color management eager to be stabbed here a color management put down the gamma baby and input the exposure up to about - maybe something like that the gamma 5 exposure down a little bit summer sounds like this and now we can also get back to the camera we wanna maybe put down Proctor if stopper be something like this gorgeous and when this is pretty much really [Music] fantastic so let's just get this rendering and get it going so what you want to do is make sure you go to the render tab you can change it to CPU or GPU depending on your personal computer and preference you wanna click you want to go to the lighting because really especially there's an outdoor lighting saying just what up with these three or four light paths change all these to volume 0 you don't need that and even you know render amount so I render you know the actual rendering samples 128 is pretty good 64 is even doable we can you can get away with 64 this sort of scene you know I'll leave it on 220 our mind I'm sure you guys probably hey hundred twenty-eight all ready to go I want to be that guy and I want to change it up to feel a little bit more a bit fancy with that sort of stuff so I don't put it down you got to always get back and forth it's it's a game of just like trial and error what looks the best on the spot and you can always change the position in the camera to what's more suitable or the lighting maybe I want to change the lighting now just a little bit get back to the world and rotate a bit more see if looks better there you go looks a little bit better more shadow more depth there you go something like that [Music] now let's rinse go to solid and let's get this rendering so you want to click now go back here click f12 to render it should shouldn't take too long w in a computer and I hope you enjoyed this tutorial please like subscribe and follow my Instagram as well and keep in tune for some more tutorials to come in the future I hope you enjoyed this [Music]
