BLACK WIDOW - Revealed for the first time!

hey guys welcome back to the channel today we're going over black widow the black widow yeah so we didn't get to go as extensive into this truck so we have uh we actually had a customer saw the videos really liked the truck wanted to use it for his application and we had to make some minor changes well we had to make some adjustments that way we could he could still use it for his application in uh you know and what he does so there's a couple things we didn't get to do we didn't get to go into the interior of the truck or we changed it's a few things we didn't do we didn't do the fenders we didn't do some of the hidden uh what's the easter eggs we didn't really do that deal um we kind of got in a hurry so the customer needs this truck super fast he saw it on the channel as we were building it loved the truck we just had to change some things to make it work for him yeah and as you guys can guess is the inventory is getting a little slim out there in the world and so having a truck that was already ready to go and look super super cool and ready to uh ready to hit the road and work those are kind of hard to find right now so yeah but anyway uh good news is truck pre-sold customer was super happy with it and i am excited to get this thing get it cleaned up get it washed and show it off let you guys see it top to bottom so that's what we're doing in this video we're gonna go take it over to my shop get it washed uh and then go over and show you guys everything we did do to it everything we did get accomplished and we'll take it down the road too talk about it and make sure everything's good before we deliver to the customer exactly all right let's get it on let's do it [Applause] [Music] uh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] um so [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] all right [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right so it was cold outside it's windy outside and you guys know the microphones do not love the wind you can't hear us talking so we decided we'd talk about the truck inside yeah there's been a couple of comments on that so far about uh the wind and ural's ability to hear us while you are watching these videos so what we've decided to do we're going to do the walk around inside the day uh wind being one factor second factor being it's really cold and i just don't want to go outside right one thing i'll mention we haven't put on here yet and we're going to do as soon as we get back to the other shop is the roadworks toe pin uh covers so you'll see the two little red spots there on the bumper they actually have some little stainless deals snap right in place there cleans the look of the stock bumper up that is a stock 18-inch texas square bumper from peterbilt on this truck so i don't know what else we got done here all right uh there was a lot done to this truck i mean obviously the big one first and foremost the guys in the jamestown facility knocked it out of the park on this stripe job this is an original stripe drop designed by the one and only brian burke he got on his laptop and designed this laid it out for the guys in jamestown and honestly you did a pretty good job on this i like it it's cool i almost called you jim you just call me jim yeah i'm not awesome i'm right it is a it it did turn out pretty neat i uh for those who don't know jim is his brother there's that but anyway yeah the the strap job turned out really awesome uh i know everybody's seen that but um yeah let's go over a couple more things i mean uh the next big thing is the dynaflex 8x eight inch eight inch exhaust with rod picket elbows and uh this is a fully active exhaust kit just in case you guys are going to inquire on that yep so this one this one will go through here real quick you can see exhaust goes straight through and it's fully hooked up and active ready to go exhaust actually comes out the tips of these man i was really surprised by the amount of people that was just like it has to be active exhaust there was so many comments yeah but the other exhaust looked really cool the horizontal i i didn't hate it at all and so i'll say one thing about this because there's a lot of people are talking about it and some things you need to think about on the difference in the exhaust especially if you run up north a couple of deals these dudes are getting sprayed with all kind of stuff in the winter time when they're trying to keep the roads from freezing over and whatnot and the hot the heat from the exhaust and these these exhaust systems get a lot hotter it makes it quite the chore to keep clean in the summer you got bugs baking on this thing if they're not actually hooked up they come off really really good other reason in wisconsin they require you to have a heat shield on the exhaust being that the exhaust would be a dummy exhaust you don't have to run a heat shield yeah not specifically wisconsin but there's several states out there wisconsin being one of them right uh but yeah there are there are several states out there where if you come through and you get on the scales and you don't have an exhaust shield on your active exhaust uh the d.o.t guy can get a little fussy about that and there are some guys that don't like running exhaust shields because you know it's a straight stack it's supposed to be nice and cool and out here and exposed it's cleaner looking without that without the heat shield on it for sure and uh so there's a couple of the reasons to run a dummy exhaust versus the real exhaust but for all you fans this is a fully active exhaust system on the black widow we heard you loud and clear so uh other other panels or the other things we've done road works front and rear breather bars um you know we we're a huge fan of these bullet lights you guys see us using them a lot um i personally that's my favorite uh we've got them down here to match on the panel light sleeper or cabin sleeper panels yelp oh and behind them we have a set of trucks train horns in there if i can get a camera in there there we go focus aha but anyway got train horns they're mounted right there on the battery box you can kind of see them sticking out just a little bit there but uh they're good and loud oh yeah very very loud especially sitting right there under the driver's seat you can you can hear them really well but uh up top we have the reverse uh bowtie visor and we've changed the lenses out on the top of the lights we've changed those out to the clear uh the clear led lens we also switched the lenses on the uh on the mirrors you had clears yeah yeah clears there and uh the visor i mean the visor is a sharp visor this is actually the exact same visor we put on silver bullet so uh left the red emblems in this truck obviously because it's all black and red and this looks i think to me the best the lighting on this side of the truck looks so much better now the truck's like it's brighter i don't know why just this the paint job's slick i really they did a good job on that dude they really did so um you know you got your stock this is another thing you guys saw too but you get a different box over here because all your scr systems under there you know one thing we didn't mention over there what did we not mention over there window chops oh yeah we put window chops on it painted those black to match front and rear window chops guide flex exhaust you painted the uh any of the fuel tanks and uh you know stripes come back around this way they're pretty sharp deck plate is installed um they did a really good job with this paint it's super slick honestly when we wash this truck the deck plate dried off faster than anything else um you know strives continue around they kind of come over here that's sort of like an hourglass look which was uh kind of a cool thing to be um you know part of that black widow theme we painted the tanks black um 12 gauge those are 12 gauge tank straps got the line cut in the middle of them is pretty neat and we painted the stock def cover black this shiny black which i think it looks really good too that looks really good and then the paint on the frame the frame paint like it's super glossy super super glossy i mean the reflection it's pretty nice um this deck plate i it dried off faster than the truck did i mean the paint's just that slick and they really did an excellent job painting this dude up and you did the same thing on the on the on the fifth wheel here that you did with a silver bullet yep you guys can kind of tell like right here we rounded the edges um just kind of cleaned up as much as we could on the frame down there you know you can tell even here but uh just a little stuff that makes it just a little cleaner looking oh and then these guys so you can see here you know before if you if you if if you've got a peterbilt go out and look at your brackets but they'll have this casting mark down the side and uh we just kind of cleaned those up so that when we painted it it's just a little smoother looking it's kind of simple doesn't take very long to do just a quick little touch and then uh hogue built quarter fenders these are the 34 inch 304s i like the big long fenders i i think it looks really cool i mean if you're not going full fenders if you're not doing a half fender or like a uh you know a set of like like full fenders or anything like that i would say definitely get the longer quarter fenders these things it's it's got this real classic look to it a very traditional uh you know style yeah and just with that drop down going all the way to the bottom it's like a low rider as well so it's that it's just to me it's super cool and that's the only way to go if you're going for your fingers on the back back here again same same products this lifetime lug nut covers that's the uh the center cap we painted the hubs obviously red to match the truck and uh all lifetime lug nut covers uh hub cover and lug nut covers um deck plate finishes off nice in the back and then the customer needed air and electric uh we actually added a second electric plug here it's just a four-way and that dude's wired to just two auxiliary switches in the dash for his um his trailer some other stuff he needed there and then quick connects on the air lines he'll actually make his own hoses we pull it off so he'll make his own hoses yeah and so that's how it looks when you don't have an airline hooked up and then you'll take this fitting yep pressure in there there you go spring loaded and uh so this will be actually connected to his hose which will go to the trailer uh same deal happens in the uh in the back back there in the airline box so he's got both options now and of course the blood flasks got to put the fistula peterborough flaps on it the best touch that we've done so far i mean it's cool it's not the coolest thing we did in the truck and a polished fifth wheel so i mean that kind of gives you guys a pretty good walk around on this truck you know there's a window chops in the back window chops on the front um what did i say i said polish it's not polished it is it's aluminum and then it's factory polished ish it's like kind of shiny but yeah so uh that's kind of the rundown on black widow uh the customer is gonna be picking this thing up pretty soon and uh i think he'll love it it's like really classy looking truck you know what else what you forgot something what did i forget the inside of the visor oh yeah so we did we did do something inside the visor didn't we yeah so i think we should go drive it and show everybody the inside of the visor let's do it it's the best excuse to drive a truck i've ever heard that's a good one all right well let's go hey guess what this thing has in it tommy an 18 speed yeah of course it does they'll have 18 speeds all right guys we're going to jump in this dude go down the road and uh well we got to get it over the shop back in the shop anyway because uh customer's gonna be getting picking this thing up soon all right ready go take this thing for a ride i'm always ready oh yeah with 18 speed yep so uh real quick because we told you guys as we painted the inside of the visor the reflections are killing me right now but inside the visor is painted black put black widow in here over here we got the fish sterile peterbilt sticker and uh i don't know we go down the road maybe we'll get a little better light you can see this uh inside visor maybe better we'll see we'll see we'll see starting to be a brighter prettier day at least it is it like it started to warm up the sun's coming out again so that's always a good thing and uh i don't know riding around a brand new shiny peterbilt so that's cool too so what could be better so a couple things to go over guys with this this setup has got the smart nav um obviously got an extra switch right here that's uh set up for the air dump so this way you can you can put the valve in there you can flip this switch right here and dump the air in the front end then you flip this switch which will dump your air in the rear it's got the premium sound in here this is a platinum interior ultra cab so you get the storage compartments up here a little bit more room gets you a couple extra speakers also with the uh with the ultra cabs and uh it's tan interior black leather seats black carpet back back here you got all storage single bunk single bump sleeper and uh nice setup for sure suspension wise guys it's got a uh 40k rears peterbilt uh low air leaf suspension on the rear yep and we're a five inch drop axle on the front air ride dual leveling valves this one's a 565 horsepower 1850 torque cummins x15 18 speed transmission right there until there by the grey button yep and uh you know you guys seen everything on the outside of this guy so kind of know all the drill there disc brakes all the way around trying to navigate these tree branches here look like that one's on the ground now so it's a little easier than that but wheels and tires on this truck is uh the 24 fives low pros i vote did this one have michelin's or bridge stones i don't remember this one had the bridge stones is that bridgestones okay so bridgestone rubber all the way around uh aluminum holland fifth wheel you got air lines and electric in the very back and also in the in the middle there on the deck plate so get all that good stuff we've got another video coming out too guys uh which will be probably the one that comes up after this one and it's a big it's a big surprise or a big reveal i guess um not really a surprise but me and tommy are pretty excited about it because it's going to make what we're doing way better oh yeah okay you know you know what i'm talking about now i was like what are we doing okay but now i know okay yeah there is a there is a uh there's a big secret we've been working on a big surprise like brian said and pretty soon i what is that next video or the video after yeah it's gonna be the next couple of videos it won't be long we're gonna show you guys something and it's awesome and uh we're excited about it i think you guys will like it too in the long run for sure uh but yeah so we're pulling her back over here in the shop and uh this thing's gonna get ready to [Music] he's like what's wrong with him hey for you guys like black and green look at that guy oh yeah all right we're back we're done we're gonna put the truck over there in the shop and uh it's getting ready to leave go go to his new home yeah we were gonna shoot this outside standing out uh by this big pretty truck but then we decided you know what it's really cold so we're gonna shoot it inside yeah let's do it right here is the heat's on it's nice um but guys this truck is done it's going back home i think it turned out amazing um back home it's going to its new home his new home back yeah new home it's all right it's back home now but it's leaving it's going to its new home very very soon um first just got to go to birmingham get a couple of things done to it and then the customers come into picking up from our birmingham location uh but speaking of other locations you guys mark your calendars we have the semi-casual truck show coming up june 18th and 19th you guys aren't going to want to miss it it's going to be a lot of fun crossfield tennessee yep it's in crossfield tennessee know the davis brothers is coming billy brethwish he's bringing some of his trucks a lot of trucks you guys have seen on this channel will be at the truck show which is going to be pretty awesome
