welcome to Panlasang Pinoy today we'll cook Bistek Tagalog this is a remake video, a clearer version here is the complete list of ingredients with measurements are you ready? Let's start squeeze lemon or calamansi on the beef we're using a tool called lemon squeezer so we can extract all the juice from the lemon but of course we can squeeze it manually we're adding all the marinade ingredients in the beef now let's add the soy sauce this is dark soy sauce then add ground black pepper add the garlic powder mix well using hands, make sure your hands are clean we can also use gloves or use a spoon to mix make sure all ingredients are well distributed after that, mariante for 1 hour to maximize the flavor after 1 hour, we're ready to cook heat up cooking pan or wok, add cooking oil once hot, add onion this is red onion, cut into rings this is cut crosswise continue cooking until the rings separates from each other then remove onion from the pan and set aside we'll use this later using the same oil, let's pan fry the marinated beef if the cooking oil is not sufficient, you may add more oil cook 1 side in medium heat then flip continue cooking the other side for 1 min. as well then remove beef from the pan transfer to a clean plate then set aside the beef cut used is top round you may also use sirloin, cut into thin slices let's saute garlic if oil is not enough, add more oil then add the marinade I added 3/4 cup of water stir and let the mixture simmer while stirring, we can deglaze the pan at this point, let's add the pan fried beef we know how delicious this bistek tagalog is that's the reason why I'm able to eat a lot of rice. That's when I'm eating this.
