Did Sawyer have any previous food styling experience? If not, he should at least be considered an honorary stylist for the work he put into arranging the food in/around Andrew's face for dozens of recreated shots.

I just realized, this is his first video where it is actually BINGING with Babish, usually it's always Cooking with Babish.

Awesome vid. Hyped to get my hands on that book.

Although, he does say that one of his tour locations is in Rigewood, NJ at the end of the video. Anyone else know where that's at? I can't find the location listed on his website along with the others, but there does seem to be a date gap on Oct 25.

Does anyone know how the book tour will work? In my city there are two tiers. For $100 you get the close seats and the "VIP Meet and Greet" ticket. For $45 you get the further back seats and the "advance ticket". So my question is what do I get with the $45 ticket. I don't want to spend $100 really so I'm wondering for $45 do I still get to meet him and have him sign the book or am I paying to just go to a theater where he'll talk about his book for half an hour, answer a few questions, and then give me the opertunity to pay another $20 to buy the book?

Edit: I figured it out from Live Nations site. All tickets include a signed copy of the book. For the $100 ticket, you actually get to meet him which is pretty cool and you probably don't get to meet him with the $45 ticket but it's not completely clear that you wouldn't get to. The $100 ticket is the VIP meet and greet but maybe if you wait till the end after all the VIPs go you can still meet him. Either way you get a signed book though.

hey what's up guys welcome back to binging with babish where this week we're celebrating something really special hitting 5 million subscribers I'm also very excited to announce my book tour which will begin October 21st but we'll get into that at the end of the episode a while back on an episode of being with babish I surprised my former roommate and oldest friend Rashid Durazo with the trip to New Orleans really it was a reunion trip Rashid Sawyer and I spent the summer in New Orleans back in 2006 volunteering and making a documentary in the wake of Hurricane Katrina while it was a very meaningful journey for the three of us we were there to work this time was different we were there to celebrate and in doing so you discover a thousand little things you love about the city [Music] shots moister patties Bananas Foster king cake dixie cake pecan pie occasion boudin boudin balls and crawfish remoulade strengthen lump crabmeat rather goat al Poisson profit oh boy and yakamein oh yeah okay okay we did a little bit of work in planning our trip we decided to recreate shot-for-shot Homer Simpson's New Orleans food rampage what started out as a fun idea turned into weeks of preparations scoping out restaurant menus for specific dishes procuring the necessary accoutrements and Google Maps that would make Jackson Pollock panic with every step impeccably planned we headed to New Orleans for our long-awaited reunion so boys were here we're here in New Orleans it's been how many years since we were here it's been since 2013 6 to 13 years we're here to celebrate this time last time we were here to work we're actually still here a tremendous amount of things never changed straight off the plane we hopped into our rental minivan to hit all fifty four locations in just a few days confident we had everything we needed to make our way through the city with ease you know you gotta make a sign right you make an R then you look at yourself and go no this is not working but I would rather show up with a valiant effort any day and is that what you called it let's go with yes I don't believe that there's waves outside of Gary barbecue they can make it's a barbecue sandwich feel it feel good we got one last stop boy stur pralines I'm very curious to find out precisely what that is this is a great trick if you ever want to stretch your soup a little bit weave say it's you know the Great Depression or something rice it's too much rice today so we ran into a whole bunch of road speed bumps there so luckily we just squirted super here we're back on track baby we're doing pretty good you see I'm in where we got to go here one two three four five six seven eight [Music] okay so we had a few hiccups along the way even with weeks of planning a crew of five and the supportive producers in Nashville that's still to be expected when you're creating something the Internet has never seen before we slept soundly that night knowing it was only the first day of exploring a new frontier [Music] what everything okay so we just learned that Katherine neither house neither Houser Khachaturian Vaughn Meader Houser just beat us to do this she posted a video of her recreating this food crawl three days ago so Katherine Katherine hats off you beat us to it we're gonna put a link to your video in the video description below guys go check it out she beat us to it she did a great job and we're gonna see what she went through because we're only like 10 restaurants deep and I'm already stuff the way you guys stuff and while doing our best to stay positive let's just say that all the buzz Katrina and Janine's video was getting stung a little yeah it looks like they're also on at least we'd be the first Americans to complete the challenge and with that completely unimpressive and unwarranted optimism we pressed forward all said we ordered 52 dishes over the course of four days amongst the five of us there that amounted to two and a half dishes per person per day which we greedily devoured stop going to eat something why don't you landing okay they taste very much like the way the coastline smell my favorite sandwich the world it's got like all the sharpness for the olives and tons of cheese tons of salami and Pursuit it's good it's good mmm the cars no good I was saying I'm oddly hungry but we've been going for what about four and a half hours now but somehow I haven't had enough to eat this time yesterday I wanted to kill myself in all of you [Music] gonna be rough [Music] I'm gonna be wrong all right now you tell me when you're comfortable [Music] yeah that look it's looking great that's it great that's the shot happy I'm happy [Music] the four days felt like a marathon but they were impossibly fun I remember describing it is the easiest hard thing I've ever done great friends and a great crew certainly helped but there's no way we could have accomplished this without the beautiful welcoming people of New Orleans so thank you to everyone that made this possible all things considered the trip to New Orleans was a huge success it's the craziest thing we've done yet in a pretty long line of crazy things and just like every place that gets a go every person I get to meet every dish I get to try every milestone great and small it's all thanks to you guys you guys have built a community around this channel that's allowed us to push boundaries in ways we never could have imagined and I'm ecstatic to share some huge developments with you in the near future the most immediate of which is my nationwide book tour I'm gonna be heading Brooklyn Philly Boston Ridgewood New Jersey Katy Texas Dallas Texas Nashville Los Angeles San Francisco Seattle and Chicago I can't believe I remembered all this yes I'm bad at memorizing things I'm so excited to get out there and meet more of you guys who share my book and share our plans for the future literally none of which would be possible without all of your love and support we've given my channel over the past three some odd years thank you so much for helping me reach five million subscribers I can't wait to show you what's next and then you did cover a
