Billy Porter Addresses RuPaul Shade

Billy Porter made history last night at the enemies becoming the first openly gay black man to invest Actor in a Drama he of course won't for pose let's take a look at some of his great speech I am so overwhelmed that I am so overjoyed to have lived long enough to see this day James Baldwin said took many years of vomiting up all the filth that I had been taught about myself and halfway believed before I could walk around this earth like I had the right to be here I have the right you have the right this is so yeah yes this great moment such an amazing women and so I know if you guys remember but we talked to you Billy here when he got the nomination the morning that he got the nomination we spoke with him here on ATT Canada and he was shocked surprised obviously he he kind of couldn't believe it at the time but he knew already that it was amazing for him in the position that he is to be able to represent the way that he does and and his whole thing at the time was like I've been working my whole life towards this so the nomination was a validation and at the time the idea of winning the award it's not that he couldn't see it but it's just one of those things that would have been one of the biggest things and here he is yeah amazing speech yeah amazing amazing but that win was not the only thing that got people talking about Billy hmm that's social media last night okay so take a look at the shot of Billy when RuPaul was on stage accepting the award for Best reality competition show RuPaul's Drag Race now people thought Billy maybe was throwing some shade at RuPaul go and register to vote go to vote and low register we love you thank you so much everybody this is so is that shot right there right that people thought that was side-eye if I'm sitting there kind of look it up seriously you're not making this up but you people thought this on social media so reporter from essence asked Billy about it in the press room and Billy shut down rumors of a feud real fast you're already starting to go viral as a gif on Twitter okay a reaction okay and it looked like it was in reaction to RuPaul's win tonight okay people on Twitter are asking what was that going on your mind I don't first of all I don't know what the gift looks like I asked yeah there's a print side never a thought I coming from me let me make this clear right now in this room to everybody right now there's never a thought I coming from me there's never anything negative coming from me you're never gonna get it from me okay it's all love it's all light it's all positivity don't come to me with that mess don't it's never that make every ever ever so I don't know you know they can catch you in some sort of way you know what I mean like they can catch unit can look like it's a time RuPaul is one of my is a friend of mine I am so proud of him I stand on his shoulders I stand on his shoulders he is doing it he paved the way for me so there's never a thought I about that should take the mic and just drop it yeah okay that would be the worst at an award show in the audience like after after having eaten a meal right we had a drink and it just pants ting me out of like one thing you literally had to sit there with a smile on your face the whole time being gauged not on your phone no yeah like that shot was catch on in a second yeah like yeah oh yeah you just kind of turned to the side maybe he was like chatting with some problem having conversation Wow yeah Texas's I don't think it was shade yeah Courtney says he probably had an eyelash in his eye a loon says I love Billy that care says the camera hit him at an angle he did thing wrong yeah else is based on what also he just won this award and made history right like can we not let that be the thing yeah this happened beforehand said that's how people are talking about Billy right online before he won that he says oh goodness sakes he was listening I know it just says he was just looking up at Roo that faces it seems like everyone is trying to make things over nothing but that's thing like people like we'll just take that shot a Billy like making a meme and it goes viral so yeah he shut that down it's good me I probably use that mean at some point you
