Hi guys! Welcome back to NautiStyles! As you can tell today, we have a really awesome Tour planed for you. [Inaudible]. Welcome back to NautiStyles. First things first, make sure that your notification Bell is turned on. It's a little Bell right there. Just click on that. So you never miss a new video. Today, we're in beautiful and sunny Newport Beach, California. We're here to check out a unique and custom yacht with a very interesting history. And the name of this yacht is Vendetta. All right, shall we check her out? Let's go. Oh, you want to talk about this magnificent AFT?? Amazing. I mean, it's just beautiful. It's stunning. Also the lettering, the gold lettering looks stunning. Even though it looks like it is a beautiful commuter yacht from the 30's. It was actually built in 2005. So the very interesting history that we guys told you about: Vendetta was actually custom ordered by Billy Joel himself. He ordered it as a commuter yacht, to transport him from Long Island to whatever he wanted to go. And the inspiration was the commuter yachts from the 30s. This one had to be the fastest and just the slickest and all these awesome things that he wanted out of it. So that's how Vendetta came about. And in 2015, new owners purchased it and they had a whole other project in mind. So what's even more fascinating is the new owners actually went back to original Naval architect, Doug Zurn, who designed Vendetta, with the new project and said, we want you to actually do the rest of what we want to do to it to make it even better. So he did. And we're going to show you all the cool projects that they did on this yacht for almost two years in the ship yard. So let's, let's do this! Let's check it out. So to begin with, it is a complete new paint job. It is stunning black, jet black. Since we are already out here in the back, we have on both sites, our exhausts, which are pretty much at waterline and we're going to get to later to it. But that exhaust system is so elaborate. Definitely want to show you guys. We're going to do it a little different. Let's go forward. Everything, it looks like brand new. Look at the details, even though this boat doesn't have any railings on the sides, right? Yeah. It feels very safe to walk forward. Well, there's, there's plenty of rails is just, yeah, there's no railing, but it is gorgeous. I mean, this yacht is really fast, right? Yes! It does 45 knots. You guys so. Well, I mean, considering it's not even 60-feet and we have quite a lot of horsepower. Yeah. 1300 each. Yeah. 2600 horsepower on a, not even 60-foot boat it's pretty impressive. Can you tell we're totally excited... We are jumping, like way ahead. Let's start at the Bow. What do we got here? What we got here? Focus. Lots of classic, stylish accents like these old school vents, which are pretty awesome. Just imagine cruising on this Bow. Yeah. So fabulous. This is definitely somebody's like wedding photo dream. Yeah! It's stunning. It's so stunning. We need to get some vintage beanbags and just put them up here on the Bow and hang out. Is there such thing as Vintage Beanbags??? I don't know. Maybe there should be! Should I open this? Our anchor locker. Let's take a look at it. Yep. Anchor Locker, Fender Locker, freshwater washdown. Straight-forward Stainless steel anchor. There's a lot going on up there. A lot of shiny things. You got a beautiful Searchlight mounted up there. I know, you are in love with that Searchlight. I love that Searchlight. I love the Horn too. One of the things that was changed, is the mast that originally was there, what Billy Joel had, and it was just more of a straight up classic mast and then this was put on and it's really beautiful. It kind of changes the lines of the boat. And I think it's gorgeous. It's pretty interesting. Like it looks classic, but also contemporary at the same time. Yeah. I mean, the walkway is very safe. Yeah, I know. It's, it's pretty good. And you got, you can hold on to everything. I got...show you the little tower we have now. It looks amazing. It looks like a piece of art. What is that thing for? For a flag potentially I guess. You have the... you see, you have the little ring on the top and then you can put... we can put a flag there. Gotcha. Okay. Well come on in to the Cockpit! Did we already talk about the magnificent AFT? No, let's talk about it one more time. Yeah. I mean, it's just amazing. You got to have a good cleaning crew, for a black yacht. You guys, this is stunning. The woodwork is insane. Yeah. It's absolutely beautiful. Absolutely amazing. So this whole area is where a lot of work went into. So basically as far as I understand, this wasn't here. Correct. So this whole awning was added in, and also this here was added as well. This was, like Isinglass. So yeah, this was put in. So yeah, he said that there used to be a tower going right down here. I don't know if you guys can imagine that watching the video, but anyways, that was removed. And then this was added, which is really nice when you're hanging out here and also gives the yacht a whole different feel. And it follows the shape of the Hull. Yeah. It's really beautiful. So that's of course, custom made beautiful stainless work really rigid. Yeah. they did a really great job. Really cool. Originally this yacht was just basically for, you know, four people. Set up for four people to be able to do a little commuter trips. It wasn't set up to entertain. You know, we always talk about the application, right? So this is very important, when you look at any yacht, this yacht specifically. The application was completely changed, it's now, like this fabulous day cruiser, you know, you can go into the Island for a day, you can go get lunch. So it's perfectly set up to entertain up to 12 people. I mean, can do more, but like comfortably 12, super nice. And just go for some nice trips. So seating for four there, two custom chairs right here, which are fantastically... Oh my God... I mean, does it come out how shiny this is - the varnish is spotless. It's so awesome. Everything, I mean, like, I hope this comes out in the camera. This looks fantastic. Yeah. So we've got these customs that were added in as well. And this here is a drink fridge. Oh, top loader. Yeah. Oh really deep actually. That's fine. Yep. And drawers here. And then the teak was completely added new. So the owner, the new owners went with oxblood color, Italian leather, and the chairs were added. There is only sitting for four here. So I think that's a really nice resolution how that all just fits in. And it really feels like a classic yacht, but with such a modern shine. It almost... You know, you have like 6 Helm seats. Yeah. Absolutely. I love it. I mean, when you go in 35, 40 knots, pretty awesome to sit in this chair, right. A hundred percent. What's really cool about it is, we talked about entertainment, right. They actually spin around completely. That turns as well. So you can face them this way and you kind of go like, well, what about these ones? Let me tell you, so this actually comes out and you can flip it around and flip the back around, you know, my favorite convertible backs that I'm obsessed with. Yeah. So you can kind of do the same thing here. And what is even more mind blowing is that when they did, when they designed these, they wanted to show off the woodwork. So instead of completely covering this up with leather. They put straps on it or something. Exactly. They actually came up with this awesome solution. And this part is actually on magnets. See if I can do this right. Is that nuts. So cool. Proper craftsmanship. It's real, incredible woodwork. So, pretty cool. Right? Oh, that's it. Oh, that's easy. All right. Keep coming forward. Yep. Should we go to the Helm? Yeah, let's go and check out the Helm. I'll we'll be very happy to go to the Helm. Look at this Helm. Look at that dashboard guys. So that was originally inspired by an airplane. Yep. And that was actually Billy Joel's, one of the pieces that he wanted. Trying to get a little bit closer to the instruments. It looks just totally classic and vintage and it just works so well with this boat. And then of course got our Chartplotters, Autopilot, Rudder indicator. And then this boat is powered by Man Diesel, 1300 horsepower each. You got Dual Thrusters, you got all your Trim Tab Controls, which are also pretty cool looking. It looks awesome. Um, what else did we got here? Our Engine Throttle, Shifter Controls and Stereo Control. Helm Seat. So cool! And then on the Portside, got another repeater of the electronics, the little storage compartments. Yep. Storage and other little storage underneath. And a nice classic way that this is. Wow look at that. Yeah. It slides in and unfolds over... and it is like a wooden. Right? And you've got this, I think it's clicked in. I don't know. Yeah. So it's all just like this beautiful wood. All right. Let's go check out the interior! You are dying to see the interior, right? Yep. All right. Come on down! Did I point out this Searchlight Remote. Is that what that is? That is for the Searchlight. You turn it on and off and then you can loosen these up and you can, you know, turn the lights and you can put up and down. So cool. Really Cool. All right. And Hey, you got your whole panel here. Oh, beautiful. Okay! Got our Generator Instruments and Remote Control right there. Our 120 Breaker Panel with Switchovers, our 24 Wall Breaker Panel. here on top with all the usual switches. Come on down! Look at the staircase! I like the stainless steel inserts and the steps. Oh yeah. Like a non non-slip. Everything is so beautifully varnished. You know what really jumps out, is this contrast of the paint job, right. So everything was painted and I guess it was some kind of a yellow color before, and you've got this gloss and then you've got a semi-gloss. So it gives it like a nice contrast and it looks really beautiful. Yeah. I agree. The galley, I guess, things were also changed. This was... The countertops were different. I mean, the woodwork is ridiculous. Yeah. The quality, of the woodwork is phenomenal. Yeah. So again, application, right. This isn't the liveaboard yacht. This isn't what the application is, the perfect entertainment yacht. It's got this beautiful open concept. So you can just entertain. That's what it is all about. Now you have a Galley, you do have a Settee and you have, if you really want it to, the chance to, you know, crash a night. Yeah. If you want to spend a night, like a night on an Island, it's totally doable. Yeah. But what I'm saying is, don't look at it, as like this... is this going to work for a world cruiser or you know what, sometimes you guys say, which is silly, this is not what the application of this yacht is made for. Yeah. So let's check out the Galley! Check out the Galley! Le's start here. Entertaining Galley. What do we got? So storage. Lots of storage. Yeah. What's above? This here? Holy Moly... Access... On both sides. So that's, that storage from the other side. Yeah. That's kind of cool. Okay. We have all of these areas here as well with... you can plug in your appliances. There's electrical outlets there. Deep storage. This is insane. Yeah. So you obviously can add extra things here. There is plenty of room. We've got our draw fridges. Yep. And the freezer here. Oh, that's probably also a fridge, right!? Or maybe one could be made a freezer. Trash and storage here and some more storage as well. I like these sliders. They just look kind of cool. Very vintage. And then just look at this here, these big handles, they look kind of cool too. They did a fantastic job on the refit on this yacht! It's just really beautiful. What's this here? What do you think? Storage! More storage! Nice. Oh wow. It's super deep. It goes all the way down there. Cool. And you've got storage up there as well. And there's something here as well. Access to the back of the Helm. Access to back of this one? Yeah. And there's something here Rico. Okay. Take a look at it! Shall we? Wow. That's easy access. That's cool. That is very cool. Even had a light in there.Do you see it? They definitely thought about this. Very nice! Coming forward. So as Rico said, it depends on how you want to use the yacht, but obviously it's a really nice entertainment space. You can hang out, chill out. Wow this is a really nice couch. Right? The one thing I don't see here is a TV, which I'm assuming the owners did not want, because they use it to socialize. And of course, if you would want one, I'm sure there's some cool, hidden way, you can probably get a TV in here to pop up from somewhere, right! There is a good sound system in the boat. So that's all what you need. Yeah. Check out the sound system. I mean, it's tons of speakers built in everywhere. Yeah. Hidden Subwoofers, Speakers. A perfect entertaining boat. Yeah. I love that they don't have a TV on it here. I like this little pad here on top. Yeah. Cute. Right. Just to chill out. Really nice. So here you have a little, actually hanging... a little hanging locker here. Yep. Also some storage areas here. Yeah. Right here as well. And we have our head all the way forward at the BOW. Two of us can fit. Oh, beautiful. Teak grid floor panels. it looks really nice. And again, you have all this storage here as well. And so this is a wet head. Yeah. This is a wet head. This is your shower right here. So if you wanted it to shower, this is a wet head. It doesn't have a separate shower and there's a storage all behind as well and down there.Yeah. That's our head. What do we got there? Living well is the best revenge. Oh, that's one of Billy Joel's quotes. Yeah. It's perfect. Really cool. All right. In general, I know you guys want to see the engine room. Rico is like, let's go. Let's go. Maybe do the Lazarette first and then the engine room. All right, Lazarette first. You really going to hold out for this. Okay. All right. I'm impressed by your patient's Rico. So the Lazarette is all the way up. I'm going to let my assistant do it. Your co-star. Sure. Whatever you want to be called today. Yeah! All right. Have fun! Guys, before I went in here, I thought this Lazarette is probably not that big. And then I went in here and I was positively surprised. First, let's talk about this here. You guys see this? Okay. The engine room is just behind that wall there. And I mean, first of all, here are Engine C-Strainers, right there. Raw Water Inlet right there. Our Shafts right there. And then look at these Exhaust System at the Mufflers. They are massive! Goes from there into another Muffler System. And from there, it goes all the way on the Outboard Side AFT. And that's where we saw, on the outside the two exhausts coming out on each side, Starboard and Portside hole. Can we talk about all the hydraulic lines for the steering and the autopilot? It looks extremely clean. Well-built all the runs. I mean, amazing! Accessibility - fantastic! He is our Steering System, our Rutter Posts right here... Right here... And then it's a site power unit. Got our Stern Thruster mounted underneath that grid here, all the space here. The Stern It's amazing. Lots of storage space. Yep. Looking further forward, got a generator mounted Mid-ship between the Exhaust Mufflers, Adam Recharge. I mean, everything is so well done and clean. And then we got... There we go. There we go. Part of our 24 volt system there with battery switches and plots. Okay! The Engine Room. It looks more like a surgical room than an engine room actually. Yeah. So clean in there. All right. Go for it. Have fun. Already guy's! Okay. So where do we start? Down here we got our Racor Diesel Filters. This boat is equipped with a Oil Changing Systems. So that's what we're looking at here right now. Our battery switches mounted AFT. And here we got our big boys to V12 MAN, or MAN, 1300 horsepower each engines. It's of course they are Turbo Diesel. There we go. MAN Marine Diesel. I want to climb around here and get you guys to see the Outboard side. There we go. I mean, they are just massive engines in this not even 60-foot boat. I can't even imagine 2,600 horsepower are going to feel so good. There we go. There is a Fireboy also on the Portside mounted. Yeah. We should fire these up. Should we fire them up? Yeah. We should fire them up. Let's do it! If only we would have someone who could fire these engines up for us. Whenever you're ready! Good. That's yeah. Pretty, pretty good. Okay. How many hours on the engines? About 900. Okay. So they're just broken in. I mean I have seen Engines with 200 hours, they looked a lot worse than these ones. They look amazing. They look band new. What do you mean? You want to go wakeboarding? Yeah. This is what it's called. Yeah. With this yacht. Oh my God. Oh yeah. Just to tell you guys that this is possible. Okay. Can you just, can we just talk about wakeboarding behind this yacht and the looks you're gonna get...you kidding me? Yeah. I mean, even that setup, right? We just switched the flag obviously - it's vintage. It's custom. It's stunning. I mean, this is... wake boarding behind this boat, you're going to wear a Tuxedo. A Tuxedo, right? Yeah. It looks like a James Bond thing. Amazing. What the hell? I got to learn how to wake board. now. There you have it. This completes our tour of a 57-foot Custom Derecktor Yacht named Vendetta. This completes... There. you have it.... This completes. Turn around... No, no, no, no. It's perfect. No, I got it. I got it. Got it. Oh, you hide over there for a second. She's always that feisty by the way... I got this. I got, Oh, can we look in here already? Not yet. Okay. That exhaust system is extremely elaborate. Little bit. That exhaust system is extremely elaborate. I don't even know how they're called. I don't know what it's called. Actually. I have no idea how it's called anyways. It's where the lines go through. This is wow. I mean, it might be the best looking AFT I've seen in a while. What about you? Well, yours is better. It was a total setup. You're really good Rico. At least I didn't fall for it.
