Big Test for the Repaired SR600 Kuhn SpeedRake

[Applause] [Music] thank you thank you hey guys welcome back to the farm we're out in this 60 acre field and making sure the dues off it that's what we're going to be raking up Prime second cutting this is about three weeks late because we've gotten so much rain it's going to be a good test for this rake rakes back together I went around yesterday I had a decent second half of drying day and we raked up all the Headlands the end rolls so I can just go up and back so it's going to be a solid test for the rake today but speed rake a lot of guys sales going too fast but that's what this thing's designed for it's just I'm gonna have to really slow down to make these turns because I'm not going to Loop Loop between other rows I'm going to go right as we go so we'll see how it goes square balers out they're going to finish up wheat today I'm going to try to head over there Greg's getting the square baler ready because we got to put square bales in our loft of straw so a lot going on it's going to be a good day 87 degrees today hot let's go nice and easy B4 foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] s from yesterday looks like they bailed up pretty good we were pushing it but like I said I like to get this out of my way it's funny I had a great comment one of them videos when this rake broke the catastrophic rake failure she's holding up nice he's like better than new the guy said I wish you could put a showed us when he hit the Bale and funny thing is I tapped one of them Bales before earlier in the year I can't remember which side it was but that could have very well of what started that rake so a lot of people dog in the rake but these are good we're happy with this breaker rotary rake those you guys Farm they know that that is a better rake a lot more money but as long as you don't hit anything with it or drop it in the hole I know things happen but we're happy with that reikia she's just quite not quite yet that's that's a little green there but kind of stagnant not much wind but man these are going to be some nice pills not a lot of wind right now it's kind of gonna be a little muggy we'll get going yeah this is to have a real calm Sunny week but came through and we saved the day by setting this out but but in doubt headed out that'd be the only alcohol and then Headlands or dodging bales from here but beyond that this has got powerful you're dodging the poles you've got to be very careful layer down right into it I own Hayfield it all runs this way from the bottom of the field minerals are extremely thick look at that there's going to be [Music] break all right got it just got back Lonnie and for me Greg wants my tractor to square Bill we're gonna hook into the square baler because we got their other mowers hooked tractors hooked to home this is a straw they're getting ready to bail done with wheat he's gonna round build this and there's another field we're going to square bill moving out all in between these bunks cows are eating these cows just got milked scraped the Alleyways the main the rest of them majority of them are locked in down there we're gonna get fed still hotter than heck out here uh calling for nasty showers now we got to keep checking the weather because you never know what might pop up pop-up storm coming around 8 o'clock tonight so Greg took that square baler he had headed over there I'm gonna check on him in a bit after I get these fed and only got four wagons Mark's bailing that hay we just right Lonnie and Jack's two nephews are milking and uh Greg square bales so I'm gonna try to I'm gonna try to get over there and get to get some bailed pick up some Bales if he misses them and get the loads back in the barn he's just 80 percent chance coming we'll see then we got to get home Chloe's first birthday well Rochelle I might be missing the cake but we don't know we'll see [Music] boys are holding it down boom green cart pulled up needs to get washed off it got muddy over there that was a big non-tiled uh I think it's about 70 Acres look at the combine so they're gonna have to be very careful Square Balon if it was leaving ruts and it sure as heck looks like it was by the looks of these tires so this stuff's up here waiting to get blown out washed off probably tackle that tomorrow you'll get in there and blow all this stuff out and uh it's a good it's a good test to get it ready for for soybeans and corn look at that packed right up in there foreign [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] made it out to the field as you can see she's a little bit wet uh that's what that 7830 was out here they unhooked the grain cart real quick and made sure he didn't get stuck or pulled wagons up but a couple of them are put away this is a barn over off Norman that we Farm we we put our eight wagons in here but I'm gonna take this one home put it in the barn he's finishing up on the last load we got four wagons so four loads we're gonna put up eight this year but with the rain coming potentially we want to get this get at least half it done we'll see if it hits or not foreign [Music] foreign [Music] make sure I don't hit the super Trucker's tractor here okay yeah this deck it's one of them things I just kept putting off putting off ah the whole thing was about black so this is not even a bad part it was real bad up there there's Chloe so I took and I'm gonna take and power wash the whole thing and stain it preserve it add this up hey Chloe add this up for probably 15 years close to it's already seven o'clock yeah yeah huh yep it's already seven o'clock guys I'm telling everybody about this deck yeah it was probably like 26 years old this thing was only four grand when I built it back in the day so now she's gonna be ready to stain I gotta finish washing it go around the outside and I think you gotta change the board see that board and that board was holding water so I do got to change the board but summer happy birthday bud yeah but so anyway here's the grant man we're gonna get a a freshly stained deck and I need to start you need to do this probably what every four years maybe I'll get i'll let you in on it when I stand and I'm probably going to tape them wall plastic that off so I don't get any in the house look at somebody she's already about walking you're crazy girl she wants out here all right guys that's the video a lot done a
