[Music] [Applause] [Music] okay everyone shabbat shalom and today we're continuing uh the prophecy series that we've just begun and really part one um we didn't do a lot of prophecy actually did we we kind of looked at the warning to the body um because the book of isaiah and many other places but i just chose to springboard from isaiah it it's very clear what the state of the body will be in these last days uh there will be a lot of whitewashing going on there'll be a lot of people giving you our lip service ticking the boxes of you know taking the religious torah boxes but yet their hearts will not be in a good place um you know there will be disunity there will be rejection of any yeah given authority like all these types of things um and we also saw that because of praising him with our lips but keeping our hearts far from him this actually resulted in us having the spirit of deep sleep put over us which means that the unfortunately this will account for a lot of the misinformation that's out there and also for what i think is more insidious is truth wrapped up with little nuggets of lies within it because it makes it harder to separate the truth from from the lies if that makes sense and um you know i i once heard a ministry say the devil will tell you a thousand truths just to give you one lie and i i feel that this is the day and age we live in um so yeah today we're gonna look at the full modem thematically um now why so let's just jump in um the reason i'm doing this part is because many people take the understanding of the modem that's been handed to them for granted so most people just accept that the resurrection is on feast of trumpets and that the wrath is on yom kippur without really digging into it themselves um people just kind of accept it and they think well all these teachers are saying the same thing and while that can be an indicator you know at the end of the day you're going to stand before messiah being held held accountable for what you did um so again like it's all well and good for me to say from behind the microphone you know this is this and this is that but you need to know why you believe what you believe especially when it comes to the former redeem which all point to yeshua you want to know why you believe in these things what these things point to um and especially if pro biblical end times prophecy revolves around these things because there's this idea that you know prophecy is all mystical and ethereal and and like people think oh no i can't understand the book of revelation and and people don't it's like we forget that the book of revelation is just that it's a revelation it's a making clear um it's only clear though if you have the foundational understanding to back it up now moreover okay so people accept this understanding without being able to see it for themselves so i met i'm gonna make the case can you see the feast of trumpets in the tanakh in terms of prophecy you know can you see yom kippur and what i you know what i'm meaning is i don't want you to say oh here's the wrath that must be on yom kippur because i've been told so like can you actually connect the dots yourself because that's what those in the first century were able to do yeah this is very true for tanakh prophecies people it's easier to spot the moadim to a certain degree in in the in um in the brit had a show so paul makes it very clear you know that we will be raised at the last trumpet if you understand what that idiom means you know he's talking to yom tarou that's easy to spot but how was paul able to make that statement with such conviction like he says it is if it's it's a granted you know like yeah it is what it is if the early caho could see the murder into prophecy so should we and it shouldn't be a case of well michael said so or this teacher said so this teaching will help us understand the full modem thematically thus enabling us to spot the mo redeem throughout scripture so there's themes to each of the moadim and what what happens as we'll see is that the prophecies pick up on these themes and you're supposed to connect the dots so let's start with the first form odin which is yom te rua the feast of trumpets okay so leviticus 23 23 and ya spoke to moshe saying speak to the children of israel saying in the seventh new moon so in the seventh month on the first day of the new moon you have arrest a remembrance of tihua a set apart gathering so a remembrance of shofar blasts and shouts a set up our gathering you do know so far work and you shall bring an offering made by fire to ya so it you know there's not a lot said in the torah about feast of trumpets but again you've got to realize that the tanakh was written to uh a nation that grew up with these things that like it was embedded within them so when isaiah comes along and we're going to read this they would have read it and gone well of course this is speaking of this cry aloud do not spare lift your voice like the shofar declare to my people their transgression and the house of yarkov their sins so again what does te it was shofar blast it was shouts it was alarm so you have this idea of cry aloud lift your voice like the shofar and this is now being linked to declaring the house of israel their transgression it's a call to repentance yet they seek me day by day and they delight to know my ways as a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the right ruling of their elohim they ask of me right rulings of righteousness they delight in drawing near to elohim i mean this is amazing because look it's saying that these people the house of israel yakov they're actually seeking yeah day by day they delight to know in his ways they are scrawlings of righteousness their delight in drawing near but yet isaiah is saying to them guys you are in transgression listen wake up wake up and let's keep going they say why have we fasted and have you not seen why have we afflicted our beings and you took no note look in the day of your fasting you find pleasure and drive on all your laborers so i would say that what we're seeing here is the call of repentance from worshiping him in vain because these you know they're ticking the religious boxes they're fasting they're reflecting themselves they're asking of right rulings they delight in drawing near to elohim you know as anyone here notice especially in the more charismatic circles though there's a really big emphasis on experiencing the spirit or having an experience with god and this is what this reminds me of like this they delight in drawing near to elohim i want my experience they delight to know my ways they know that they they knowledge knowledge you know puffing people up they seek him day by day and it's all in vain because wake up you're falling into transgression i would say this links to matthew 15 and an isaiah 29 now we covered this last week but matthew 15 and you have the parallel in mark chapter 7 where yeshua is scolding the pharisees saying well has isaiah prophesied about you because you worship me in vain and you teach the uh and you nullify the torah of elohim through your traditions teaching uh the traditions of men over the commands of elohim and as in when yeshua was saying this in matthew 15 he was actually quoting isaiah 29 now we saw last week that isaiah 29 says when we draw near with our lips but keep our hearts far from him and we do our traditions instead of his commands the spirit of deep sleep is poured out upon us it's like a spiritual blindness a spiritual slumber so let's link this to what we've just read in isaiah 58 these people are seeking him with their lips keeping their hearts far from him therefore the spirit of deep sleep is upon these people so this is where the shofar comes in you know a shofar is very loud so the idea of the shofar and the court of repentance is actually a call to wake up from your spiritual slumber which has been caused by your whitewashing you're ticking the religious boxes you're delighting to puff yourself up with knowledge you're tr you wanting to experience him instead of repenting on a heart level so here we see the shofar crying aloud so far i'm hoping people can see that we can now link the theme one of the themes of yong te hua is to wake up from spiritual slumber and it's to repent like to truly repent um right jeremiah 4 if you do return oh yes royale so again if you do repent declares yeah return to me and if you remove your abominations from my presence and see straying and shall swear as yah lives in truth so here we have a lot of people using yah's name but they're not doing it in truth in right ruling and in righteousness there's no integrity now if they swear is yah lives in truth in right ruling and in righteousness then nations shall bless themselves in him and they shall boast in him for this is what yah said to the men of yehuda and yerushalayim break up your tillable ground do not sow among the thorns circumcise yourselves into yah and take away the foreskins of your heart you men of yahudah inhabitants of yerushalayim lest my wrath come forth like fire and burn with none to quench it because of the evil of your deed so again these people they swear as yah lives but not with integrity so again this thing of worshiping him in vain okay which means the spirit of deep sleep is being poured out upon them and the warning here is lest my wrath come forth like fire so there's this warning of impending judgment declare in yehuda and let it be heard in yerushalayim and say blow a shofar in the land cry aloud and say gather yourselves and let us go into the walled city so here again the shofar the crying out loud repentance again is being linked to thematically to yom tehrawa and this time we have the added theme of impending judgment coming lift up the banner towards zion be strong do not stand still for i am bringing evil from the north and great destruction the the lifting up the banner is an idiomatic expression for war so this idea that when you you would have had the war banner and here without getting into it jeremiah is essentially prophesying of babylon eventually coming and taking um of destroying judah so here we have young terror thematically linked to impending judgement and a call to repentance um oh my inward parts my inward parts i am in pain oh the walls of my heart my heart pounds in me i am not silent for you have heard oh my being a voice of a shofar a shout of battle again shofar shouting this is all yom te rua language how long shall i see a banner and hear a voice of a shofar so you have jeremiah saying how long do i need to hear of war coming you've got to remember that jeremiah was it really pained him watching his people continue in their sin knowing what was coming down the pipeline because he was saying to them look if you don't repent babylon's going to come and kill you this time we have a call to repentance and a warning from impending judgment linked to the day of trumpets jeremiah 6 oh children of benjamin gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of yerushalayim again blow a shofar in tekawa and set up a signal fire in bait hakiram for evil has been seen from the north and great destruction this evil from the north is speaking of babylon and great destruction so again the blowing the shofar is a is a call of impending judgment i shall cut off the lovely and delicate one the daughter of zion so here now is the impending judgment and of the house of israel as well as a well flows with water so she flows with her evil violence and destruction are heard in her before me continually is suffering and smiting be instructed o yerushalayim lest my being be torn from you lest i make you a waste a land not inhabited now again what's the elohim expecting his people to be instructed in right in the household rules in the torah of elohim so again this call to repentance to whom shall i speak and give warning so that they hear see their ear is uncircumcised and they are unable to listen see the word of yara is their approach to reproach to them they do not delight in it so again why is their ear uncircumcised why can they not hear because they've been worshipping him in vain you know calling him on their lips but keeping their hearts far from him so they are in a state of spiritual slumber that or you could say the spirit of delusion so again like this like listen here right listen to the voice of the shofar listen to the call to repentance therefore i am filled with the wrath of yah i have become weary of containing it pour it out on the children outside and on the company of young men together for even husband and wife shall be taken the aged and the very old do we have some prophecies in the book of revelation that speak of wrath being poured out in seven bowls again like there's all these little inferences right here thus said yeah stand in the ways and see and ask for the old paths where the way where the good way is and walk in it and find rest for yourselves but they said we do not walk in it now i've heard people um quote this and basically they're quoting this without an idea of torah behind it the reason i bring this up is because who's this being spoken to to the house of judah specifically here what's the old ways for them what are the ancient parts for the house of judah you know about 1400 hang on about five six hundred years before you know bc it's the torah and i raised that watchman over you and said listen to the voice of the shofar but they said we do not listen so again call to repentance therefore hear you nations and know o congregation what is upon them hear o earth see i am bringing evil upon this people even the fruit of their thoughts because they have not listened to my words nor my torah they have rejected it so i hope people are seeing the thematic connections to the day of trumpets here and that's called to the um a court of repentance because of impending judgment because of worshiping him in vain ezekiel 33 the word of yah came to me saying son of man when i speak speak to the children of your people and you shall say to them when i bring a sword upon the land and the people of the land shall take a man away from their borders and shall make him their watchmen and he sees the sword coming upon the land and shall blow with the shofar and shall warn the people then whoever shall hear the voice of the shofar and shall not take warning if the sword comes and takes him away his blood is on his own head he heard the voice of the shofar but he did not take warning his blood is on himself but he who takes warning shall deliver his being so this is interesting especially if you understand that uh the illusion to the call of repentance if you listen to the voice of the shofar you shall be delivered so if you repent you shall be delivered in beautiful imagery right there but if the watchman sees the sword coming and shall not blow with the shofar and the people shall not be warned and the sword comes and takes any being from among them he is taken away in his crookedness and his blood i require at the watchman's hand and you son of man i have made you a watchman for the house of israel and you shall hear a word from my mouth and you shall warn them for me so obviously ya's using the physical shadow picture of literally the watchman in the watchtower watching for armies coming and he's saying ezekiel you are the spiritual equivalent so far all these passages we've just read they've all been about repentance warnings of impending judgment and waking up from our slumber okay if the warning of impending judgment is linked to yom tehua this implies that said judgment is coming at a day that is soon okay you have young something's coming down the line now the next day on the prophetic calendar is yom kippur okay so we can already uh insinuate that the impending judgment is to do with yom kippur but we'll look at yom kippur to actually rather than just say oh well yom kippur is next we'll actually look at it to show that it is now this is where the idea so i don't know if anyone's heard this this idea of the final call to repentance being on yom teruah and that that heralds the ceiling of the judgment on yom kippur uh this is common in in actually in judaism um there's this idea that yom teruah is the final call to repentance in the uh on yom kippur that's when the judgment is sealed so these ten days is the last time you can repent that's elohim giving his mercy and compassion and this is where the idea comes from actually it comes from the prophets as we will see so how does resurrection fit in the picture because you're probably thinking well okay that's great michael where's the resurrection aren't we suppose doesn't paul and yeshua say that we're raised up on day of trumpets okay let's look at this as i 26 let your dead live together with my dead body let them arise awake and sing you who dwell in the dust for your jew is the jew of light and let the earth give birth to the departed spirits if that doesn't shout resurrection loud enough i don't know what else does now again notice awake decided what was the shofar about it was to wake you from your spiritual slumber okay so awake and sing go my people enter your rooms and shut your doors behind you hide yourself as it were for a little while until the displeasure is passed now the word here for rooms is heder this is where a bride and groom would consummate their marriage okay so again we have this idea of a resurrection and this idea of a group of people entering a marital chamber so that they're not affected by this displeasure that is coming or this wrath i'm so i'm planting some seeds for parts three four and five with this verse for look ya is coming out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their crookedness and the earth shall disclose her blood and no longer cover her killed ones so can you see here there's a resurrection this idea of awake you who dwell in the dust awake from your slumber you need a shofar to wake you from your slumber why because there's an impending judgment coming upon the earth okay let's take this idea further isaiah 44 remember these matters oh yakov and israel for you are my servant i have formed you you are my servant only israel do not forget me now who can remember what leviticus 23 said in regards to the feast of trumpets it says that it didn't say you shall have a blowing of shofars and shout it said you shall have a remembrance you shall have a remembrance of blowing of shofars and shout so again this idea of remember i shall wipe out your transgressions like a cloud in your sins like a mist return to me for i shall redeem you sing o heavens for ya shall do it shouts o depths of the earth break forth into singing o mountains forest and every tree in it for ya shall redeem yakov and make himself clear in israel now okay so notice here it says sing o heavens for ya shadow it shouts o depths of the earth this is linked to a remembrance now let's go back to isaiah 26 what did it say awake and seeing you who dwell in the dust let the earth give birth to her departed spirits so this idea of awaking singing like it's literally saying like let the earth break forth into some and this is an illusion to a load of dead people being raised up apparently so let's take this back to isaiah 44. seeing o heavens for yah shall do it shalt depths of the earth break forth into singing can people see the links between isaiah 26 and isaiah 44. now this time you have the idea of redemption being added to this redemption this is crucial yom te hawa is thematically being linked to redemption now okay why is this important because paul says this in romans 8 for the intense longing of the creation eagerly awaits for the revealing of the sons of elohim notice is the creation so do you think maybe the heavens and the earth what what's isaiah saying sing our heavens break forth into singing why are the heavens and earth longing for something are the heavens and earth gonna praise when that revelation comes for the creation was subjected to futility not from choice but because of him who subjected it in anticipation that the creation itself shall be delivered from the bondage to corruption into the esteemed freedom of the children of elohim do you think the heavens and earth will break forth into singing then when it's been delivered from its corruption for we know that all the creation groans together and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now and not only so but even we ourselves who have the first fruits of the spirit uh we ourselves also grown within ourselves eagerly waiting for the adoption the redemption of the body so when the dead body will be put away with and a new body will if that's not resurrection i don't know what is i hope people are connecting this so young has now been linked to resurrection to redemption and paul's picking up on this that the the not only the creation the heavens and the earth will be redeemed but so will the sons of elohim and this is why isaiah says sing o heavens break forth into singing let the depths of the earth shout and that this was the essentially the earth giving birth to the departed spirits let's look at hosea 13 verse 12 the crookedness of ephraim is bound up his sin is hidden pains of a woman in labor shall come upon him this should make us think of messiah's words that you know labor pains will come upon us in these last days this actually also points to the fact that these labor pains and this tribulation is for the house of israel because ephraim is here being spoken of he is not a wise son for it is not the time that he should delay at the breaking forth of children from the power of sheol i ransom them from death i redeem them where is your plague o death where is your destruction o sheol repentance is hidden from my eyes now what did we just read so isaiah 44 23 seeing o heavens for ya shall do it shout out depths of the earth break forth into singing again what's coming forth from the depths of the earth the departed spirits for ya shall redeem yakov now hosea is telling us that this redemption is from death it's from the power of sheol this is what we're being redeemed from this is how paul can say what he said in romans 8 in regards to the redemption of the body he's not coming up with anything new and again romans 8 23 we ourselves grown we who have the first fruit of the spirit notice it says first fruits not the fullness we ourselves also grown within ourselves eagerly waiting for the adoption the redemption of our body paul did not come up with a new doctrine he was just taking things from tanakh and basically passing that on to the body first corinthians 15 see i speak a secret to you we shall not all sleep but we shall be changed again what's one of the main themes of yom tehua of being awoken from our slumber okay so we shall not sleep we shall not slumber but we shall be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed now again paul is using this idiom here the last trumpet that traditionally there were a hundred trumpet blasts on the day of yom tehua so the last trumpet was this idiom for the end of the hundred trumpet blast now paul is saying without apology on the day of trumpets the day shall be raised this is what he's saying how was paul able to make that statement hopefully you can kind of see where he's coming from now from the tanakh because that's all he had the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed for this corruptable has to put on incorruption in this mortal put on immortality and when this corruptable has put on incorruption and this mortal is put on immortality then shall come to be the word that has been written death is swallowed up in overcoming oh death where is your sting oh sheol where is your overcoming we've just read this in hosea this is where paul is getting it from again paul is not coming up with a new concept let's look at hosea six come let us turn back to ya so again repentance again in repentance really is thematically linked to young terror for he has taught but he does heal us he has stricken but he binds us up after two days he shall revive us on the third day he shall raise us up so that we shall live before him now this idea of being revived it's almost like awake come out right raise us up you you're awake again isaiah 26 19 let your dead live together with my dead body let them arise awake and seeing you who dwell in the dust for your jew is the jew of light and let the earth give birth to the departed spirits you know look i'm repeating these scriptures so that you can connect the dots easily okay we have this idea of being raised living before him this being linked to repentance and now through eyesight this is linked to a resurrection again seeing o heavens for yah shall do it do what redeem the creation redeem man shout out depths of the earth break forth into singing for yasha redeem yakov redeemers from what from the power of death from sheol jeremiah 31 at that time declares yeah i shall be the elohim of all the clans of israel and they shall be my people and thus said people escaped from the sword found favor in the wilderness yes for i o when it went to find rest do you think that maybe they heard the shofar call and repented yah appeared to me from afar saying i have loved you with an everlasting love therefore i shall draw you with loving commitment i am going to build you again and you shall be rebuilt o maiden of israel again you shall take up your tambourines and shall break forth in the dances of those who rejoice now notice here the cove the wedding covenant language here going on this is bridal speak going on in verse three again you shall plant vines of the mountains of shomeron the plants of chaplain and treat them as common for they shall be a day when the watchmen cry hmm on mount of frame arise let us go up to zion to yah our elohim so again this idea of the watchman crying out loud a loud noise watchman you always had shofars for thus sing with gladness for yarkov and shout among the chief of nations does this language sound familiar from isaiah from the heavens and earth singing and shouting giving birth to the departed spirit cry out give praise and say oh yeah save your people the remnant of yes fry out they're shouting the watchman is shouting and they're saying yeah save your people why what are they been wanting to be safe from do you think that maybe they know there's an impending judgment coming down the line see i am bringing them from the land of the north and shall gather them from the ends of the earth among them the blind and the lame those with child and those in labor together a great assembly returning here so again now this idea is being thematically linked to a regathering a regathering of his people and and this is all linked to yom teruah through the watchmen through the singing through the shouting through the crying out with weeping they shall come and with their prayers i bring them i shall make them walk by rivers of waters in a straight way in which they do not stumble for i shall be a father to israel and ephraim he is my firstborn hear the word of yah again listen o nations and declare it in the isles of far off and say he who scattered israel gathers him and shall guard him as a shepherd his flock so again here right open your ear uncircumcise your ear this idea of wake up from that spiritual slumber and this has now been linked to a regathering of israel for yah shall ransom yakov and redeem him from the hand of one stronger than he well what's the arch of being redeemed and ransomed from the power of death as we just read in hosea this is this is why you need to understand i bet none of you would have seen the feast of trumpets in jeremiah 31 you're just saying oh yeah we're being redeemed from death and because i know because someone told me the resurrection happens on the day of trumpets that must mean it's somehow connected but hopefully now you can actually connect the dots yourself so look this idea here of his bringing them from the land of the north and shall gather them from the ends of the earth well yeshua said about this he shall send his messengers with a great sound of a trumpet or a shofar and they shall gather together his chosen ones from the four winds from the end of one of the heavens to the other how did yeshua know that this was the great sound of a trumpet that the voice of a shofar again yeshua knew his tanakh so you know i could go on and on giving you well look here's a hint there here's a hint there here's a hint there but i i want to give you just the basic building blocks hence why i'm calling this the former dem thematically like we one of the things that we do coming into this hebraic understanding and this is something that we've probably inherited from christianity it really it's a translational issue but we look for words and we try to find the same words and then we struggle and this is not how you're supposed to connect different scriptures you're supposed to connect them thematically so i don't know sing shout praise blast of the shofar that they're all different words but they're all thematically connected through loud noises okay this is how you need to think and this is how you need to connect the scriptures so we've done yom tehrawa let's look at yom kippur now okay let's look at yom kippur this is the next day on the prophetic calendar after um so leviticus 23 yah spoke to moshe saying on the tenth day of this seventh new moon is yom hakiparim it shall be a set apart gathering for you and you shall afflict your beings and bring an offering made by fire to ya and you do not work on that same day for it is yom kippurim to make atonement for you before ya your elohim now if you read leviticus 16 this will detail what's needed atoning and how it was to be done so people forget that yes you know liverpool 16 basically says how the priest is to offer a ball for the sins of the priesthood for his family and the priesthood um and then actually you need to atone for the tabernacle and for like for the altar apparently because yah says that because the sin of israel is brought all the time to the tabernacle and that's where it's atoned for the actual tabernacle itself needed atonement and people missed this that look if you realize that we are the tabernacle collectively of elohim do you do we need atonement yes we do but essentially the whole point of yom kippur is of atonement right it's the it's the dealing of sin or well i'm saying that loosely dealing with sin okay very loosely but atonement is what this day is all about so i'm going to give you a 101 crash course on blood and atonement for sin because you need to know this to really understand what the day of yom kippur is all about in the garden man was at one with elohim right they he adam could hear the sound of elohim walking in the call of the day there was intimacy there was intimacy due to sin and lawlessness the breaking of a commandment man was separated from elohim man was chucked out of the garden the wages of sin is death okay you sin you die now if this sin is against the covenant and not against another man blood is required as the covenant is ratified in blood remember that a covenant is ratified in blood so if that covenant is broken blood needs to be spilt now i say sins against the covenant not against man why a sin against man comes under the mishpatim the judgments and these require restitution so if you stole something from your brother you were meant to give back and a bit more okay that's called restitution that's how you dealt with that transgression but you couldn't do that with murder you couldn't do you see what i mean seems like murder and adultery are actually against elohim therefore blood and death is required like why is murderous sin against elohim because we're created in the image of elohim we're supposed to be his image bearers here in the earth and you're killing that image you know adultery is the separating of what elohim has made one so it's actually a form of spiritual murder the torah does not provide atonement for willful and rebellious sin now i've put here to let's be more precise there is no levitical sacrifice that deals with willful and rebellious sin that's what i mean by that statement okay there is no levitical sacrifice that deals for willful and rebellious sin cold calculated torah mandates capital punishment for sins against elohim and the covenant so murder like you know intentional murder you die you die there's no atonement that can be provided now hebrews 10 verse 4 says it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins and indeed every priest stands day by day doing service and repeatedly offering the same slaughter offerings which are never able to take away sins this means that eventually a payment for our sin is required because the blood of balls and goats was not for the cleansing not for the cleansing of the conscience okay so this gives us two choices you either pay with your own bloods and that doesn't sound like a fun idea because you die or you accept the blood of messiah resulting in life they're your two choices you repent and take the blood of messiah notice that our flesh still has to die now why is this important because in hebrews 9 it says if the blood of balls and goats and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the defiled set apart for the cleansing of the flesh how much more shall the blood of messiah who through the everlasting spirit offered himself unblemished to elohim cleanse your conscience from dead works this is why your body has to die because messiah's blood is not for your body it's for your conscience it's for your spirit as it were this verse tells you right here as well what the difference is between the levitical sacrifice and yeshua's spinning of his blood one doesn't negate the other you know a lot of people can go watch the blood of yeshua part six it's called why the blood of animals if you want a deeper understanding into the difference between the two but hebrews 9 13 14 is essentially telling you why now on top of this sin pollutes the conscience and the body so if you if you murder your your conscience is polluted this is why you need the blood of messiah but it also actually pollutes your body your body is dying it's decaying why because of sin people also forget though that sin pollute the land okay leviticus 18 verse 24 do not defile yourselves with all of these for by all of these the nations are defiled which i am driving out before you now if you read the context of leviticus 18 it's actually speaking of sexual sin verse the land became defiled therefore i punished it for its crookedness and the land vomited out its inhabitants but you you shall guard my laws and my right rulings and do not do any of these abominations the native nor the stranger who sojourns among you because the men of the land who were before you have done all these abominations and thus the land became defiled so the land itself is polluted so let not the land vomit you out for defiling it as it vomited out the nations that were there before you for whoever does any of these abominations those beings who do them shall be cut off from among their people [Music] and you shall guard my charge so as to not do any of these abominable laws which were done before you so as to not defile yourselves by them i am your elohim so not only do these abominations to fatherland they defile you there is only one way to atone for the land numbers 33 verse 33 do not profane the land where you are for blood profanes the land and the land is not pardoned for the blood that is shed on it except by the blood of him who shed it and do not defile the land which you inhabit in the midst of which i dwell for i yeah i'm dwelling in the midst of the children of israel so this this is why blood needs to be spilled for the atonement of sin because sin defiles sin defiles your conscience it defiles your body it defiles the land around you okay now in isaiah 24 we read this see ya is making the earth empty and making it a waste and shall overturn its surface and shall scatter abroad its inhabitants does this sound like a warning of impending judgment and it shall be as with the people say with the priest as with the servant so with his master as with the female servant so with a mistress as with the bias so with the seller as with the lender so with the borrower as with the creditor so with the debtor i i.e everyone is going to be treated the same the earth is completely emptied and utterly plundered for yah has spoken this word the earth shall mourn and wither the world shall languish and wither the haughty people of the earth shall languish for the earth has been defiled under its inhabitants because they have transgressed the tarot that's plural for torah they've changed the law and they've broken the everlasting covenant so the the whole earth is defiled and yah saying that because of this judgment is coming therefore a curse shall consume the earth and those who dwell in it be punished therefore the inhabitants of the earth shall be burned and few men shall be left whole earth is being defiled again there's only one way to atone for the land and that's by shedding the blood of the ones who have defiled it okay well funnily enough we read about this all over in zephaniah 1 for example near is the great day of yah near and hurrying greatly the noise of the day of yah let the mighty man then bitterly cry out so there's a warning that this horrific day is coming this impending judgment that day is a day of wrath a day of distress and trouble a day of waste and ruin a day of darkness and gloominess a day of clouds and thick darkness a day of shofar and sounding against the walled cities against the corner towers now later in the series we're going to break down these days what this means you know a day of uh waste and ruin darkness gloominess a day clouds of thick darkness we will get to that just not today and i shall bring distress on men and they shall walk like blind men because they have sinned against yah and their blood shall be poured out like dust and their flesh like done neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of yah and by the fire of his jealousy all the earth shall be consumed for he makes a sudden end of all those who dwell in the earth so we we can glean several things from this passage okay the day that the blood of sinners sorry the day that the blood of sinners is poured out is called the day of yah or the day of the lord if you're in king james english and the day of his wrath and there's this warning that one day this day will come and that on this day the blood of sinners will be poured out why the earth has been defiled they have sinned against you blood is required the only way your blood is not required is if you accept the blood of the lamb the day of wrath is the day of darkness clouds and thick darkness and we're going to look at this uh next week actually in part three now knowing when yom kippur is and what it entails helps us to know when the day of the wrath of elohim is i hope people can connect the dots because what's yom kippur all about the spilling of blood for atonement and here we're being told that one day there will be a day of wrath where the blood of sinners is poured out i hope people are connecting this this event is also known as the treading of the wine press we read this in isaiah 63 who is this coming from eden with garments of glow and colors from basra who is robed in splendor striding forward in the greatness of his strength it is i who speak in righteousness mighty to save why is there red on your raymond and your garments like one who treads in the wine press i have trodden the wine press alone and from the people no one was with me and i tried them down in my displeasure and i trampled them in my wrath okay so again this day of wrath their blood is sprinkled upon my garments and i have defiled all my raymond for a day of vengeance is in my heart and the year of my redeemed has come so now we're getting this idea there's a day of vengeance it's this day of wrath look i trampled them in my wrath and this individual who i believe is yeshua is saying that that's the day of his vengeance and look he's treading the wine press and that that he's treading on people this is why the blood is sprinkled everywhere like the blood is being poured out why because the earth is defiled because they are defiled and they have not accepted the blood of the lamb and i looked but there was none helping and i was astonished that there was none upholding so my own arm saved for me and my wrath upheld me and i trod down peoples or nations in my displeasure and made them drunk in my wrath and i brought down their strength to the earth now what did it say in in zephaniah um was it zephaniah with this idea that uh he's um he's gonna punish the haughty people those that think of themselves more highly than they ought to you're gonna find this theme of the day of wrath that it's actually to bring the pride of men down and not down to eradicate it now this isaiah 63 is fought is the foretelling and we get uh this further explained in revelation 19 and i saw the heaven opened and there was a white horse and he who sat on him was called trustworthy and true and in righteousness he judges and fights and his eyes were a flame of fire and on his head were many crowns having a name that had been written which no one had perceived except himself and having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood his name is called the word of yah what did we just read why is there red on your raymond what like someone who treads in the wine press and the armies in the heaven dressed in fine linen white and clean followed him on white horses and out of his mouth goes a sharp sword that with it he should smite the nations and he shall shepherd them with a rod of iron and he treads the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of el shaddai and on his robe and on his banner he has a name written sovereign of sovereigns and master of masters so now we know who is doing the treading of the wine press in isaiah 63. so let's have a quick recap excuse me we see trumpets yom te lua being the time of the resurrection now we didn't have let me say this did i clutch at straws was it easy to see once everything's being laid out yes this is what i love about the mower deep because let me say it this way if anyone's giving you a teaching on prophecy and you haven't got the understanding of the moadim run because they do not know what they're talking about once i understood the modem and it's and the hebrew wedding model as well i found that everything just fell into place by itself and i wasn't having to do gym like scriptural gymnastics to make things fit it just it became simple dare i say it does it require digging yes does it require study yes but it means that you have a framework and if you have the framework you save yourself a lot of problems we also see trumpets as the warning of the soon impending judgment okay it's a call to repentance a call to wake up from your spiritual slumber stop worshiping him in vain like a white wash too okay this judgment is required to deal with sin it so the treading of the wine press is to atone for the sin of because the earth is defiled you're defiled so forth atonement is the time where the earth is atoned for because as isaiah 24 said the whole earth is defiled because of the breaking of the everlasting covenant this is done by elohim's judgment and wrath spilling the blood of the sinners and most like we can we've been able to put this together all with the tanakh okay when i brought in the book of revelation it was only expanding on what isaiah 63 said okay when i was bringing in paul he was only expanding on what hosea and isaiah was saying so you can do this just from the tanakh okay i don't know if anyone's noticed this we're all aware that there are 10 days between trumpets and atonement we call this generally the days of or scripture shows the resurrection occurring on trumpets right yet the judgment isn't sealed until atonement who can see where i'm about to go is this also another source for the mortal sequel in the millennial reign the point i'm making is some people may actually see a resurrection occur we know that paul says yeshua will be present in the sky and that we will meet him in the sky you're going to have a whole world see that do you think that maybe some people might come to genuine true repentance and yah's giving them the last available mercy and compassion until the ceiling of the judgment i.e the day of wrath just saying i think it's plausible okay i think it's very plausible that there's this gap between the resurrection and the sealing of the judgment okay next day on the festive calendar is the day of sukkot okay the feast of tabernacles three times in the year you are to celebrate a festival to me guard the festival of matzot or unleavened bread seven days you eat unleavened bread as i commanded you at the time appointed in the new moon of aviv for in it you came out of mitzrayim and do not appear before me empty handed and the festival of the harvest the first fruits of your labors which you have sown in the field and this is speaking of um shavuot here so shavuot is a first fruits festival this trip some people up and the festival of the in gathering at the outgoing of the year when you have gathered in the fruits of your labors from the field this is where you have to understand the biblical um harvest cycle so in aviv you were dealing with the bali in chavawatt you were dealing with the wheat and then at the around scott you were gathering in the fruit and nut harvest okay three times a year all your mouths are to appear before the master yeah now we get this this is really interesting in deuteronomy 16. perform the festival of sicot for seven days after the in gathering from your threshing floor and from your wine press the feast of sikho occurs after the in gathering of the harvest why is this important i would say this further helps us understand the timings in regards to the gathering of his people and the treading of the wine press because the feast of you're supposed to have your wine ready for the feast of sakai your wine is no good to you in the wine press or still as as grape form right so what i'm saying is that we know that the resurrection has to come before the feast of sakai we know the day of wrath has to come before the feast of sakai right because again what what's the shadow picture here we are the great harvest right if we are grapes we are olives and we're being crushed crushed for what hopefully we're a cup of sweet wine in the master's hand the i spoke to moshe is saying speak to the children of israel saying on the 15th day of this seventh new moon is the festival of the cop for seven days to yah on the first day of the set apart gathering you do know so far work on the 15th day of the seventh new moon when you gather in the fruit of the land celebrate the feast of yah for seven days on the first day is a rest and on the eighth day is a rest and you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of good trees branches of palm trees twigs of leafy trees and willows of the stream and shall rejoice before you are your elohim for seven days now we get this in revelation after this i looked and saw a great crowd which no one was able to count of all the nations and tribes and peoples and tongues standing before the throne and the lamb dressed in white robes and palm branches in their hand and crying out with a loud voice saying deliverance belongs to our elohim who sits on the throne and to the lamb now knowing that this is speaking of the feast of sakai we can actually infer that this is a seven day celebration going on in revelation 7 9. this is a seven day celebration so much for the feasts being done away there are many places in the prophet speaking of how israel will rejoice after elohim judges donations if i was to list them all we'd be here for weeks okay but go do your due diligence you know go reads a really good example is jeremiah 30 and 31 this is where at the end of jeremiah 31 you find the renewed covenant language um but jeremiah 30 and 31 are one speech go read that and you'll see that they will come with joy and singing right why because there's a wedding feast going on knowing that these people are dressed in white garments helps us understand that this is a wedding celebration okay this is a wedding celebration um go watch the ancient hebrew wedding model if you're if you haven't already that will make a lot more sense what that statement so we have trumpets we have atonement we have tabernacles we have the resurrection the wrath and the wedding feast okay the spring melody we're fulfilled literally and sequentially all within one year so you sure was crucified on the passover buried for day one of unleavened bread rose on first fruits and then the ruach the spirit was poured out on shavuot okay so that fulfilled chronologically one day one feast after the other within one year okay why is this important because that's the biblical precedent that we have okay if the former edema to follow the same pattern this means that the eighth great day becomes day one of the millennial reign now this really jerks at people because we all assume that the eighth great day is pointing to the forever after but if the spring moa dean were fulfilled one after the other sequentially within one year well let let's do this like let's do this as a group they have trumpets day one day of atonement day 10 tabernacles starting on day 15 you celebrate for your seven days and then you have the eighth day right you'd have it here where my mouse is that's day one of your millennial reign you know something that curtis said once and it kind of stuck with me but all the moedem has spoken within the time domain which means that has to you know in the forever after this idea that there will be not time anyway i digress but i i want to say this because the eighth grade i believe it's pointing to the millennial reign where a bride in a groom will let me let's use the ancient hebrew wedding model uh you would have had a wedding feast okay a wedding feast for seven days what was day eight for the bride and groom it was the first day of them living married life as husband and wife why is it going to be any different for yeshua and his bride the eighth great day is a high shabbat which is interesting considering that the millennial reign is the shabbat day if a day is a thousand years interesting right so i hope that was a blessing guys um i hope you can see that how yeshua was able to know without a shadow of a doubt that the regathering of israel would be with a great chauffeur i hope you can understand how paul could say that we will be re that will be resurrected at the sound of a great trumpet i hope you can understand how he knew that this was related to the redemption of the body even to the fact where he was quoting the very scriptures we covered okay so the reason i did this is because i want you to understand for yourself why i teach that the resurrection will be on on yom teruah why paul said this without excuse without apology you know why you sure did that i want you guys to understand why i think the day of wrath is on yom kippur and why i hope this makes sense um next week i'll give you an insight but we're going to look more deeply into the day of wrath because there is a lot of prophecies in the tanakh that deal with the day of wrath and we're going to kind of link the jubilee very briefly to it because understanding what what the jubilee is about very briefly thematically is um it further solidifies this idea that the day of wrath is on yom kippur and again we're going to do this with the tanakh we're not really going to go to the british it's not until part four essentially what i'm doing with parts two and three i'm giving you the tanakh foundation and then in part four i'll show you how this all links to the book of revelation and the book of revelation is literally just that it's nothing new it's not mysterious it's a revelation of what has already come before so i hope that's been a blessing amen [Music] [Music] you
