peak physical health guess that means you get the all clear for today's competition i'm still not sure why we need to have a complete checkup before each battle it seems like we spend more time in the lab being poked prodded and tested than we do in the actual beyblade arena if i've told you once michael i've told you a thousand times your beyblade's been specially designed to monitor your vital statistics during battle in order to ensure that we achieve maximum efficiency sorry judy but it just sounds like a bunch of scientific mumbo-jumbo to me i don't expect you to understand but trust me it's important to our research skill and spirit are no match for technology and this prototype will prove it doesn't look like much you've got to be kidding that beyblade has enough power to take on a least twice what it was before i don't know how that can be hmm i guess max had great power after all but but judy shouldn't you be worried if max's power continues to rise then he may actually win it max if you can still manage to defeat michael then you will have proved to me that human spirit is indeed a greater weapon than science come on i can't wait anymore i'm freaking out calm down tyson you're losing it i know it but when i'm nervous i can't stop yelling come on cool it you guys max needs our support right now to keep his confidence up give it your all max you can take this guy i hope you're right ray all i know for sure is that i'll never give up no matter how much power they throw at me and even if i don't have what it takes to beat michael at least i'll know i went down giving it my best shot i'm sure that's enough to make mom proud of me i'll tell you aj i can't help getting a little teary-eyed at the end of a tournament i wouldn't whip out the hankies just yet dude cause there's still one final battle on the way and when the smoke clears it'll be either the wicked blade breakers or the always awesome all-stars chilling in the winner's circle well i'd say the basketball coming at ya looks like michael used his right arm to put a little extra zing on that heater this is gonna be a grand slammer somehow max managed to stay spinning you got him now max just hold on a little bit longer don't let your guard down too late he's losing control look at you the battle rage is off and once again these two forces are locked in a brutal power struggle but it looks like max is getting the worst of it how much more of this pulverizing punishment can this dude take your guess is as good as mine he's still kicking but for how long beats me oh man come on there's gotta be a way to help max you're just thinking of this now we should have been ready for michael's power pitch hello it's not called a secret weapon for nothing there must be a way for max to use michael's own power against him so far nothing comes to mind and time is definitely running out hey if you want to know something just ask the know-it-all that would be you kai i do know the solution but max needs to figure it out for himself i don't believe you for a second you're just saying that because you don't have an answer no kai has a point hear me out this is max's battle and we should put our complete trust in him right dizzy i never second-guess a man with a pocket protector max there's only one power capable of defeating your opponent and it's up to you to discover it let's see if you have what it takes and we're back as the final battle rages on michael is still in total control as he lays down a series of bone jarring slams you battled hard max but it's over no one is a match for that much power it's just a matter of time now oh okay max it all comes down to this i went around bragging that willpower was tougher than all the science and technology in the world but i guess i didn't totally believe it even with my teammates standing behind me and rooting for me all the way i still doubted my own skills but no more now i believe in myself and there's no greater power than that hey mom guess what i believe i can win how super cool is that max yeah let's give him a taste of his own message oh man max should have been toast by now but he just keeps coming no matter how much power i throw at him cool looks like max is digging in and trying to get something going on [Applause] you know a minute ago max was looking wiped out but now he seems sharper than ever oh no way what's happening it's an electrical surge that's it i get it now wanna share with the rest of the class max realized that if he couldn't match michael's power then he would have to use that same power against him by forcing michael to use more and more energy the power will soon be too much for the main system to handle which will short out the entire system that's the one major flaw that science has yet to rectify i should have thought of this sooner too much power can be even more of a disadvantage than not enough power and by pushing himself to the limit max was able to battle back and take advantage of that flaw phew that was a real circuit scrambler this is it you're going down you sure don't look so tough now michael rolls to a stop just short of the plate and he's out at home but how it can't be ever sweet but dude how did max and the bladebreakers ever pull off that wicked upset for the win i'd say it came right out of left field this duck is impossible we dropped the ball i just can't believe it yeah you did it way to go you went up the tournament yeah awesome congratulations on winning the championship max i'm extremely proud of you that was some really quick thinking out there hey thanks mom sure means a lot to me coming from you but i guess i messed up your research yep back to the old drawing board but you're still my greatest achievement i love you max i know mom hey max congratulations yeah i have to say that was a pretty awesome battle match but don't let it go to your head we want a rematch aren't you going to celebrate with your teammates okay hmm why should i they didn't even do anything worthy of any celebration it's only by a fluke that they won oh you know that is the sweetest thing i've ever heard and i'm getting the
