pastor errol lee dixon today we will begin by saying it is a tremendous honor to speak today as we recognize the contribution our pastor has made to this church over the years we know him to be a dedicated and righteous man of god for him it doesn't matter to him because he always present you know he is always presented in or youth services with pasadexa you would always say that on with prosthetics he would always say that you aren't all until you reach 150 years old which he is simply saying his age is a which is simply saying age is a state of mind and con and construct use to restrict a person to continue their normal way of life our past i love to preach and we appreciate his sermons he always makes us laugh whenever we are around him he leads by example which in turn encourage us to be better young be a better young first what are the characteristics of a great man is it having the most wealth just like elon musk or is it being known as a dictator of a nation such as adolf hitler in the minds of many these are the bare minimums to be etched in the history books as someone who are scratching the surface of being grayed pastor early dickson with his charisma and great leadership has shown why he is a great man in times of any crisis within the church we as a congregation look to him for support he is a great pastor and also a wonderful human being to be able to be brave in the face of uncertainty is an irreplaceable value where one is not born with but has attained through several trials and tribulations they are the same age age comes with wisdom and pastor dixon has been leading this church with wisdom knowledge and immense faith pastor dickson is a man of great selflessness and we are acknowledging a great man was surpassed the limits of integris deeds one has done in one lifetime and i'm sure there is much more to come we thank you for our contributions you have made sir and we salute yeah [Music] let's learn [Music] [Music] great is that stand upon the promises of god you know he has lived a life that we can say is an example of a man that lives by faith and not by sight and you know i've really this i can say this man of god has helped me grow you know when i was a teenager i remember in sunday school days i still have to say something about that you know i didn't like when he normally do the reviews because i know he's gonna call us individually to see what we have learned but you know i am glad for that because i was a person that was so shy you know but these little things have really helped me to grow and i know it has also helped others to grow i know and as a young woman no standing you're not here to say something to the man of god i can say ella evelyn nixon you have really worked hard you know you have not given up even when it seems so hard and it looks like it cannot work you didn't give up that's why i said you're a man that live an example a life of faith praise god and you can say you really live by the word of god and you really has helped discharge the members to grow spiritually praise the lord and so today praise the name of jesus and so today elderly dickson i'm really honored again to stand one a face street as a member of this church and as a part of the ladies department to present to you this token of appreciation for your hard work for your commitment for your dedication for a man that's stunned by the word of god we just want to bless you today and we just asked us to accept this little token as appreciation of our love towards you we know we can pay you for the work that because a lot of people come and unlock go and even know sometimes it marvels even me i'm saying god where are the people but i'm encouraging you today pastor don't give up i know it gets really rough you now a poem entitled o mighty man of valor by terry doubler [Music] in the darkest hour when all in fear the enemy power there is one who knows he was chose for such a time as this a battle he wouldn't miss in his armor prayer is weapon of choice a shout of praise he gives voice for the lord is god reigns is commissioned again go forth in my name for this is your power i will be with you almighty bless the lord [Applause] thank you the term mighty man of valor is synonymous with gideon one of the judges in the bible the word valor means strength of mind in regard to danger that quality that enables a person to encounter danger with fairness personal bravery courage and poorest so bishop aaron thompson god representative on earth would have appeared to our mighty man of valium errol pastor arrowley dixon just as god representative the angel who appeared to gideon in judges 6 verse 2. our dear pastor may have tried to talk himself out of the position just as gideon did with the angel he may have told him about his age he's too young his children and our sort of things to get out of this position but like the angel bishop irony thompson would not have any of this because he was other man that he needed to go to may maypen deliver the people from the enemy as in gideon in the case of gideon the midianites and the amalekites but perhaps our pastor like gideon wanted a sign he wanted to ensure that he was making the right decision you would have told bishop he needed to hear from god he may have asked his close friends to help him pray and fast so the answer would come from god saying erali dixon you have to go to maplin there's no getting around the people of mapain need you to help them fight against the midianites and the amalekites perhaps like gideon our mighty man started his pastoral journey with fear and apprehension and would have sought god to give him strategies to ensure that he was with him as a young pastor like gideon who had faced many opposition the amalekites and the media of the may pain hero one of the first thing pastor had to do was to tear down the bell of this era the satan kingdom that ruled over race track and his surrounding hero what the lord stood in the gap and as always was true to his word that upon this pot of gold one a face street i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail and after 39 years this mighty man is a testimony that let god be true and everyone else be a liar it's a testament that god what god start he will finish yes the media knights on the anal christ did fight what this brave mighty man of valor prevailed he fought many of battles on his knees in prayer and fasted with the help of his wife his prior partner his children and the brethren like gideon the mighty man of fallen would have celebrated victories to various evangelical services will dance and preach to celebrate the goodness of god he didn't blow a trumpet physical trumpet like gideon but he didn't did blow and he had trumpet to his preaching after and he claimed that he got a flash from god whenever you hear this you will know that the mighty man of god received a prophetic word straight from god not to mention the master tombarine is his wife and his greatest cheerleader knocking and beating to the glory of god in celebration of god's goodness pastor early dixon we appreciate your technology and your drive to be a pastor for 39 years as jamaican would say i know boy business pastor era d dixon mighty man of valor exemplified the term spiritual obedience like gideon you follow the spiritual lead of god and after 39 years is a past of this beautiful church it's a testimony that his leadership is one of divine inspiration an example that you follow if you follow the lead of god i mean the difficulties you will succeed brethren stand with me as we honor this mighty man of value is dedication to the work of god and after 39 years it's like a duracell exemplary lives and so the dish that has been served to them is also the dish that has been served to their offspring praise god and you know we know that our parents have had you know struggles you know while growing up and even though they weren't the type of parents who would have you know have us in the meeting and discuss everything that's that's happening to them you know they were the type of parents who tried to shield us the best way they possibly could and i remember it was when we had an accident in 1993 on our way to mapen um it was at that time in my teenage years that i realized you know the pain and the struggles that they were going through you know and i just want to thank the lord that in spite of everything that you know you both have gone through you're still here celebrating 39 years who could it be about jesus and i know this song that i'm about to sing will sum up you know basically everything you'll have [Applause] some good days you've had some hills to climb you've had some weary days sleepless nights but when you look around think all those things over all of the good days outweigh the bad days you just don't complain [Music] sometimes the you can hardly see the road and i know you've asked the question lord why so much and you think all those things over i'm sure you can raise your hands and say thank you lord you won't come god has been good appreciated we often normally tell persons what they have done and oh they mean to eat after the fact but i'm really glad that today i can stand here and talk to my pastor and we all can celebrate for the tremendous work that you have done over the years and let you know our appreciation it really meant so much and i was looking online and i saw a point and i started to read the poem you know and i that serving him with all your heart would be your life goal you see pastor there was a reason and that it was you that god chose you not your good looks not your perfect here and your stylish clothes no pasta the reason that god reached down his hand and save you let there be no doubt the reason god chose you is because he knew how you would turn out the reason pastor that you mean so much to me is that when i look at you it's jesus that i see for your footsteps i so gratefully chad because i know that in following you i'm following god you know hallelujah shall we give god a praise you know and our pastors live an exemplary life a life that we can follow you know and over the years i really appreciate him he's a man that you can always talk to the man that you can always you know count and rely on and he always be here for you to help you grow spiritually a teacher a leader there's no problem that is too big or too small for him to hear and pastor today i just want to show our name of jesus [Music] shall worship lord everybody shall we worship the lord everybody indeed a privilege for me to stand here on behalf of our church to present this tribute to our pastor a leader is someone who knows the way goes the way and shows the way posited by john c maxwell this is a leadership characteristic that depicts pastor ella early dixon on this momentous occasion we celebrate pastor ella early dickson and lady vernaly nixon on this their 39th pastoral anniversary of the bethel united church of jesus christ apostolic maypen through many hurdles they were able to soar by god's grace and direction pastor elderly dixon is a true visionary dedicated hard-working anointed and humble servant committed to the master's will based on the goals achieved throughout this ministry and for those of us who know where we're coming from as the umber servant he is he never took credit he always mentioned the officer corps and members of this congregation in every achievement his commitmental leadership and service is noteworthy he and lady dixon are the leaders that show up shows up on every occasion long work days sunday school ladies men and women's departments youth events whether face-to-face or virtual outreach help fasting visiting the shut-ins not only in words but by their actions and presence over the years the youth can testify that even in our annual bible practices they will attempt to offer their support sir and madame we value and we treasure those moments it's evident pastor early dickson is a dynamic leader one who is a team player the word of god declares the steps of a good man are ordered by the lord pastor errolly dixon has utilized the word of god as his guide and continues to spend his spent time in the secret place of the most eye that enable him to gain access to the richness of the lord's anointing in which he operates one thing for sure he is going to preach the undiluted word of god and get a flash at some points during his message he has such great desire for his membership when the pandemic struck as a true shepherd he was concerned about his membership being fed with spiritual food this saw the institution of or morning's devotion done by the officer court each morning same is posted in our church what's up group except on sundays also distribution of care packages to the church and the community with the view of taking care of the holistic man is a continuous drive and he makes it a point of duty we are blessed that the lord has entrusted them to lead us ladies and gentlemen stand your feet as we honor pastor ella early dickson and lady dixon for their outstanding leadership and service to the bethel united nation church and this this certainly is an honor with distinction oh it's such a great day when i think about 39 years it's not an easy task and i know it wasn't for our pastor who is standing here this afternoon he's not just standing but he's standing tall for all these years i know it must have been sometimes in the valley sometimes it must be rough when it's raining sunshine whatever but it do make it through to be here i appreciate my pastor and i am ever grateful for him and i always talk about him i remember i don't know if he remembers when i was studying and i do have a bible course to do you know ncu we have a whole lot to do there and actually i was having an exam and i was blank and i called on my pastor and i said pastor we have something for doing about me not really understand can you work with me and he did not hesitate he came by the house he sit with me and we went through that passage that i'm supposed to do and other scriptures that it tied into and after all that i was feeling confident because the man of god has taught me and prepare me to go out so i went out and would you believe that's one of the bible course that i did that i got an a in who could it be so i have proven that this man is a man of god one that we should believe and trust because god is leading him i will not take too much because i know the preacher should be coming up so sir on behalf of the bethel church united church facing street here where you are our shepherd we want to say thank you for the many years that you have given to us which we know it wasn't no easy task with what you do because we know managing people of different personalities and different races whatever it is it's not easy but you stand the ground and you deliver and here you are 39 years after so as an appreciation to you this afternoon and our love for you i present to you and your wife and all inclusive [Music] weekend at the pro conus hotel in pennsylvania usa yes yes yes sir you are international so we have the tree too we have to treat you as such and this will also coincide with your 48th wedding anniversary which will be coming up on the 1st of june 2022 so this afternoon sir the lord bless you and your wife as you both continue to share the blessing and thanks for your tributes and here for your gifts and we just pray that the lord will continue to bless you as you you know continue to support your pastor as i said it is not easy especially in this time but we give god thanks that amidst the many dangers toil and snare that our pastor and lady dixon that they are still standing amen hallelujah there are there are no quitters amen and we just pray lord we continue to strengthen them as they continue we are at the best part of the service amen are one of the best part aliyah where we hear a word amen somebody say word hallelujah today i am honored to have bishop designate michael g lewis to be among us today to celebrate with our pastor i mean when the team met and you know we were looking for someone to speak hallelujah everybody was in favor of of of design bishop michael j lewis somebody that i love that i admire amen i mean we grew up at 20 south camp road a mensa amen at a tender age while i was in the junior choir he was in the youth choir so we're coming from a far away amen and i've seen him elevated throughout these many years amen preaching the undiluted words of god and it's good that he and his wife could join us today to to give a word of encouragement amen and so stand with me brothers and sisters hallelujah as i welcome to this microphone bishop designet michael g lewis the overseer for the central district we just pray the lord will use it mightily in jesus name amen amen can we put our hands together for jesus clap those hands like you really love the lord you may be seated in the presence of the lord oh how beautiful it is this afternoon to be here and to be sharing in this extraordinary and special occasion as we seek to celebrate the work and worth of pastor errol lee dixon and lady dixon it is indeed a pleasure for sister monique and i to be here and with desire we desired to be here amen when the invitation came for us to be here i was mindful of some other engagements but i did say that you know it's not easy to say no to brother philip it's not easy to say no and when i consider the work and the worth of pastor dixon and lady dixon my heart was moved to be here amen even at south camp now there is a soul winners conference going on but i chose still to be here amen there was another invitation to be with pastor robert stewart who's been consecrated a bishop even as we speak but i chose to be here because i know the work and worth of this man and woman of god amen they have labored long and hard they have labored on the difficult circumstances the church was not as beautiful like this all the while those of us who came up remember what it was like all right i didn't call it zinke mini but we remember what it was not me does not me call it that here but god has been good can you put your hands together for pastor and lady dixon [Music] and so be before i get into the word of god i want to greet overseer philip dixon and his wife associate pastor dorvin dixon his wife and to of course pastor nixon and lady dixon our special honorees this afternoon and certainly i bring you greetings on behalf of the beth the united church of jesus christ apostolic 20 salkim prude and all the saints from 20 sulkim approachers salute you and lady dixon on this special day i am mindful that you have known me from my childhood you have watched us grow and you have prayed and supported us and encourage us and we are mindful that you are our father in the gospel amen you have paved the way for many of the younger preachers who are now assuming the role of leadership you have paved the way you have cleared many of the hard roads that would have been ahead of us for us and we are mindful and so pastor and lady dixon on behalf of the bethel united church of jesus christ amen 20 salty emperor it is my pleasure to present this to you as you celebrate 39 years of god's divine blessing upon you god bless you my brother in jesus name amen put your hands together for your pastor isn't he looking smart [Applause] you know i sat there and i said to myself that the older he gets is the smarter he dresses [Music] [Applause] you know when we were growing up we would have a little joke about pastor dixon and his dressing you know we always say he wears nothing that matches and i remember when we were growing up when we got called we were actually coming from somewhere when we got the call that he was in an accident and we actually rushed to the main pen is what mapen right hospital spanish town right and when we got there um they showed us the clothes they said it sure is brother dixon never said that but and they showed us the clothes we said yes it's him nothing matches [Music] pasta dixie know that brother wayne and myself always shovel him you know i remember he used to drive taxi but you know he would wait for passengers on the road sometimes and then pastor dixon have a way of falling asleep so you know we were always given trouble so we would sneak up behind him when he's sleeping in the tracks everyone said give me all the money oh god has been so good amen we would give this man of god so much trouble but thanks be to god he loves us amen and i know sister dixon loves us amen and we are just so happy to be here to share with you amen praise god good to see you sister fellas amen we continue to pray with you and for you in the name of the lord amen turn to me turn with me quickly pastor dixon turned to me a while ago and he said pastor lewis your second service is already over i said yes fast a long time the two services at south camp road would be over already so you know we are on borrowed time amen so we've got to do this quickly judges chapter 6 and i just want to read one verse from judges chapter 6 the 12th verse and then we hear what god has to say to us praise god to all the officers and brethren i'm just so blessed to see how you treat your pastor how you honor the man and woman of god it is a great day indeed judges chapter 6 and verse 12 the angel of the lord appeared unto him and said unto him the lord is with thee thou mighty man of valor the lord is with thee thou mighty man of valor can we just point to pastor dixon and say the lord is with thee thou mighty man of valon praise god leadership is critical in this present age that the church of jesus christ has found itself in there is no doubt that we are living in the closing days of time perilous times paul refers to it as and this pandemic is only just an indication of the nature of the times we are living in but god is raising up in this day and in this age leaders who will not only guide us through the pandemic but leaders who will ultimately guide us to the rapture of the church need i remind us brothers and sisters that we are not here to stay we are just pilgrims and sojourners one of these days you're gonna look for us but we won't be at one a faces street one of these days the trumpet of the lord shall sound the dead in christ shall rise and they that are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet the lord in the air that is the hope of the believers that is why we're living the life we live in because we're looking for is coming in the clouds of heaven he's coming back to earth to catch away zone the someone says may we all be ready when the cry is given to go and reign with god on i need i remind us don't be too comfortable down here heaven is still our goal the enemy knows then that the ministry of the church is as strong as its leaders therefore the great enemy of our souls has sought to attack the leadership of our church he has made it clear that on his agenda is the destruction of leaders at every level in the church and if you talk to any pastor today if you talk to any leader in the church they will tell you that there's never been a struggle like this before there's never been a time when the struggle has been so intense where the struggle has been so fierce against god's leaders in zechariah 13 and verse 7 the prophet said smite the shepherd and the sheep will scatter the enemy knows that if we smite or attack the shepherd then the sheep will scatter but i hear god saying i'm with you mighty man of value no matter how the enemy wants to attack the leadership of god this afternoon that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church of the living god i hear jesus saying upon this rock i will build my church not lewis church or dixon church but my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against the enemy has turned his attention to leadership at every level be it in the church in the family in the ministry and the weight of christian leadership or the weight of the pastor is heavy it is not an easy road and i want to sound the alarm for those who are uh overzealous and trying to uh run down positions and titles to be careful because you don't even understand the weight that comes with leadership often we look from the outside but we don't really understand what's happening we see the prestige and the prompt and the pageantry of leadership but oftentimes we don't know the pain that comes with leadership we see them being ordained and we see anniversary services like this but not every day in the life of a pastor is like this how many know that sometimes your pastor have to cry and you don't even know he's crying can i preach up in here sometimes he's in pain but he's got to get up in this pulpit and preach like paul is going through his own struggle but he's got to be there for the body of christ hallelujah you see we see the glory of leadership but we don't know the story the leader is subjected to so many challenges and as the enemy seeks to target the leader in an attempt to scatter the sheep sometimes you don't even know but your pastor comes to church and he has to minister to your need he he gives you the last dollar that is in his pocket and he's got to go home and look at his children and pray with them and beg them just to deal with it and hold on with to the hunger just a little while longer because things are going to get better it didn't always happen like destruction in ministry but he still got to stand and minister critics my god pastors can never win sometimes whatever we do can't please everybody critics are always there sometimes pastors are abused they're lied on and leaders have to deal with even betrayal in ministry jesus christ was the greatest leader that ever walked on this planet but he was not exempt from betrayal he had 12 disciples but in the midst of the twelve there was a judas there was a betrayal and every leader has to deal with betrayal even jesus christ was not exempted paul the apostle was not exempted from betrayal in second timothy chapter 4 and verse 10 he tells us about a man by the name of demons he says demons has forsaken me having loved this present world and has departed onto tessanna like a paul says listen the weight of leadership is not easy he spoke about alexander the copper smith he says in second timothy chapter 4 and verse 14 he says alexander the coppersmith did me much evil but the lord reward him according to his work you see my god the the weight of leadership is not easy you've got to pray for your pastor you've got to stand by the man and woman of god you've got to cover them every day that you wake up cover your pastor as he covers you pray for him pray for his wife pray for his children pray for his physical children pray for his spiritual children cover them under the blood of jesus christ because it's not easy sometimes a pastor have to preach us happy and go home and cry paul spoke about how all had forsaken him in second timon chapter 4 17 he says notwithstanding as he went before the roman authority notwithstanding he says the lord stood with me and strengthened me that my me preaching that it might be fully known that all the gentles might hear the gentiles might be saved and i was delivered out of the mount of the lion he says listen no man stood with me all men forsake me i pray god that it be not laid onto their charge but even when men forsake us i'm pastor dixon i want to assure you that god will be with you when paul went before the roman council all those who were a part of his ministry run away from paul they said paul we hear them sharpening up the guillotine to take your head off and we are not going to stand with you when paul looked around the bible said in second timon chapter 4 and 16 he said at my first answer no man stood with me i couldn't find the missionaries i couldn't find my evangelist i couldn't find my youth president i couldn't find nobody to stand with me i had to stand alone but then in the 17th percent he says notwithstanding that i couldn't find any man he said god was with me jehovah shama the lord who is present was with me i feel the holy ghost oh god i've combined to tell you mighty man of valor that god is with you it doesn't matter who come and it doesn't matter who goes i combine to tell you that you're a mighty man of fire i can't say to tell you he is with you i'm about to close in about five minutes but i hear god telling me as i sat in that seat that since this pandemic start some folks have walked out of this church you can't find them you're wondering where they are but i've come out to tell you don't be discouraged be not disagreed the god of jacob is your defense [Music] chandler oh mighty man of allah god said to tell you he's with you and greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world so don't worry about those who left i hear the holy ghost say they're coming back because this is this is this is the closing days of time i know some folks have left and i know some people are worried about it but god sent me here to tell you they're coming back they're coming back we called them back we called back those brothers we called them back from the east we called them back from the west we called them back on the [Music] hallelujah hallelujah we're calling my brothers to the church we're calling back backsliders we're calling that the young people that live i stand in the authority of the holy ghost and i declare right now that they're coming back get ready get ready get ready get ready now [Music] the devil can't have it this is the church of the living god and the gates of hell shall not he says where one two or three are gathered i'm there in the midst bless god says anyone when we show up to this house and when we turn our attention to him he's going to show up and when god shows up and when we lift him up oh god i hear you when we praise him when we lift him up when we glorify him he says i'm going to do the drawing fire he says i won't do some drawing if it's full of you coming here for it lift him up praise him like his 50 praise him like it's a hundred of you in here give god clothes don't hold that femininity don't cut back on anything give him the glory [Music] he will shut up [Music] he says lift me up lift me up [Music] ebola lift me up how to reach the masses men of every birth for an answer jesus gave the if i if i be lifted up from this earth i will join mighty man of father you know when god spoke to gideon gideon says god how how is it where are the promises i don't see it how is it going to be god says don't worry about it i will be with you [Music] the best days are ahead of you the best [Applause] the best [Music] is yet to come you ain't seen nothing yet [Music] swing those doors widely open [Music] this is the season this 39 year pastoral year is a season of restoration [Music] it's a season of restoration can i tell you what the pandemic has done [Music] sieved the pandemic has caused a sieven [Music] shows up those who are playing church from those who are serious yeah [Music] of those who are following people and not following christ but those who are rooted and grounded [Music] can i tell you sometimes we have been rocked to the left rock to the right sometimes we are rocked almost down to the very but because god is with us even like the palm tree that goes to the ground don't count us out yet because little by little we are coming back up [Music] mighty man of valor said to gideon the lord in the 16th verse it says the lord said unto him surely i will be with thee and i will smite the midianites [Music] i'm closing [Music] the sipping is on and whenever god saves the body of christ it's an indication that the rapture is very near the church is being prepared for the coming of the lord we have to make our calling and our elections sure we have to be focused [Music] this is not the time to be playing church this is the time to be resolute like we have never been before [Music] as we prepare to hear gabriel blow the trumpet [Music] one of these days the eastern sky you see what's happening in the world you hear what is happening in ukraine [Music] the world is wandering what's going to happen and somebody says but pastor that's all the way miles away from us all the world is one stage [Music] and what happens in russia or ukraine will have a ripple effect across the world but all of these things must happen must happen [Music] must happen [Music] for these are the last days [Music] therefore i close if you're in church stay in church [Music] keep your seat in zion stay under your pasture [Music] i gotta say this and go these are the days when we have a whole lot of fly by night past us coming up they're under no authority they're under no leadership they're on the no airship and a whole lot of people are just running after that but god has placed a man of god that for 39 years when there was little on the spot of ground [Music] but a zinc [Music] we would get nervous when we had to come here for because the heat mighty lung [Music] look where you brought us from stay with your man of god stay with your woman of god over their children when they stand in the gap for them support them do everything that you can to ensure that the work of the ministry continues mighty man of valor god says i am with you i will be with you even until the end of the age can you put your hands together [Music] the best is yet to come stop worrying about those who have left a whole lot left so can pro too but god tell me to tell you they're coming back [Music] because it's preparing the bride the transition when mortal shall put on immortality hallelujah corruption shall put us in corruption where we shall be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye my god the trumpet of the lord look for it look for look out look look up look up he's coming back he's coming back look up look up look up anything now count the years as months count the months as weeks count the weeks as days [Music] any day now so don't be surprised if by next week you see some faces you haven't seen in a long while and when you see them come don't make up your face at them just know that it is rapture time it's rapture time it's rapture time it's rapture time when you see them coming back and crying you must know that it's rapture time god will confirm his word with signs and what does the best is yet to come god bless you in jesus name mighty man of father god is with you in jesus name [Music] hallelujah somebody stand to your feet somebody worthy to be praised on the rising of the sun to the going down of the same [Music] in our going out and in our community praise the lord somebody he's worthy to be praised we pray that god will continue to use bishop designate michael lewis yes we pray that the power of the holy ghost will continue to envelop this man of god as he continue to lead the flock in this end time praise the lord somebody what a day it is what a day it has been as we celebrate our pastor and leader brothers and sisters my personal testimony of my encounter with this man of god will always be uppermost in my mind i remember when i came here i believe it was in overheat and brothers and sisters i was searching for a place to aid in my restoration and i've gone elsewhere but i didn't get any help but when i came and i met this man of god i've never seen such wisdom praise the lord somebody he said to me [Music] i'm not saying you're a bug slider but i'm gonna treat you like a buckslider in other words i'm going to restore you back to the flock and if i treat if i handle this matter this way then nobody can't hold you out there and say okay you can't go back to any church because you need a letter of consent from so and so and when pastor used that level of wisdom to get me restored back to life [Music] i give god the glory and i really continue to bless this man of god praise the lord somebody you may not understand it all but praise the lord the conversation we had and continue to have praise the lord somebody god is good a man god is good praise him so we really need to hear from our pastor today praise the lord somebody and lady dixon so at this time i invite you all to stand to your feet even those who are watching via zoom at whatever media platform you're joining us by we thanks sir overseer dickson and mr darwin dixon associate pastors and to our guest speaker bishop michael lewis the first lady loris greetings to you man in the precious name of jesus a word that reached our hearts today and i just want to give god thanks for every member of this church and as overseer mentioned the committee which made that missionary partisan missionary brown we just want to give god thanks everybody the touching sounds today i you know it would take me too much to continue to talk because so much things is coming into my mind but you know when i came in and i looked at the the beautiful um oh my god i was wondering if it's something that they're going to move after this stay but them say it will be there but it's a beautiful thing and it is white so we have to take good care of it or praise the lord but um so many things that come across my mind and i i can't if i don't say anything i get to say this for the 39 years that um well being here being there was still connected to here um i think i can boldly say because this has happened to so many pastors and leaders but within my 39 have been here not one person around this area or anywhere and not one member can point them finger at me if it's not thinking about trying to say i look upon them a different way if i'm not thinking about put up on my heart praise the lord praise the lord i i make sure live the life to please people and to please god and i i am being friend with everybody i i remember one night we was going home and police stopped we're underway and said passer oh you have so much woman with you i say all that belongs to me praise the lord but you know god is good and god is great and i just want to give god thanks as i listened to what um missionary morrison mentioned that if bishop thompson did know that i said it was the worst place that he could have sent any young person which my desire at that time to we actually was planning to migrate to canada and i was stopped and i think just here to come to me then i think it was better than canada only when i reach here i regret that i just said yes praise the lord and then you see i i was not here because anything was here i was sent here and i obey god i obey the servant of god 2009 when i traveled to america i could have abandoned this church because i actually get a church and they give me the offer sent for your wife what i said i had a church in jamaica just that bill we don't reach nowhere yet leave it and come and something just hitting my spirit god didn't send me here to pass a church i am here because i need rest so i can't do it then the devil allows something to happen that when i get back here i am so regret i'm sorry that i didn't take the offer but god knows everything but one of my greatest moment in this year coming to me is 2012 when i realized that there was a church open to the glory of god here where we were coming from that's what paid my price and god had really bless me glory to god and i and i i want to say this last but not least i played this in jacob but i remember bishop something had gone wrong and the doctor tell me to well i have to tell my doctor everything he said reverend tell me what is wrong with you because all this year you is my patient i never see you like this so i tell you what happened doctor said resign from the church resign and i said god i'm dying slowly for sure my nerves is going but how can i resign from the church i i can't i have a struggling going home i i remember i slept 15 minutes through the night and couldn't sleep again and i struggled and i said i'm going slowly but sure i said god how can i resign from church and when i [Music] in my mind i wanted to but i remember one sunday i came here i didn't in the good frame of mind to preach that sunday but god allowed me to preach and fight back every message every word to me and after service everybody gone and i stand right at that door and i hear the voice said if you don't start to work on this church i am not going to bless you i said god what you're saying where how much i start work on the church and i don't have no money everything had gone from me god how this can be that isn't possible and three weeks after i remember was out by spanish stone by prison over some place there and i thought come back to me and i said god why you give me basket to carry water why are you telling me to start work on the church i don't i don't have any money 15 minutes after my daughter katrin called me and said daddy somebody called and said some money that money grabbed i don't know who i don't know who's going to send money to money i don't know nobody but right there advice came to me but i don't know the other name when i call and i get the other person and when i say this must be that person god just opened the person to write a stone and i said yeah so i drive go by the monogram and i post office and said some money is supposed to come from me here i say from where i said from cayman and i tell them the person name they say you know how much money i said holy eat after me i know how much so i'm not going to say a little bit i said hold him and she said when i fill out the paper and give it to them and say oh mr dixon we have to give you a check that you have to go by um ncb touching i said la donde so i put your teeth down there they might go see me with this holy family shortly after the breaks come and when i get 75 000 bishop i i put some down here put some down here put some down here put some and when i finish i stand at the bank and i come out like and i look around and i look around and i make sure that i don't see anybody and i jump in the van i lock my door and when i reach at my home i didn't drive and stop at my home i'd drive round and circle to find out anybody was thrilled with me so i parked the one close and jump out of it and run into my house and lock the door and come seventy five thousand dollars you know what i did i took the phone and i called the economy they can read you know the chuck man that we was talking to say yeah tell them to judge a big load of son a big lord of gravel i use every cent start rendering the church and i got a hundred and fifty a thousand dollars and i make sure that the hundred and fifty a thousand dollars rendered the church and as we finished rendering the church cement moved from 300 allah back to 650 i said thank you jesus praise god i never regret doing what i do for this church and today let me just say this i felt the blessing of god up on my children praise him god had blessed us with two extra daughters in our lives which we can say they are the best god had blessed us with a son and another boy which i can say i can't compare him praise the lord and a family that stay together stick together and one of the things that i can say god had blessed us with six grandchildren and we are blessed we are blessed we are blessed and all because i did not walk out here and go somewhere else at that time i would be lose everything god bless you and i thank you all today thank you preacher you touch my heart you touch my spirit or praise the lord it's not only other one said we just killed it one missionary rested on right there she noticed me every sunday we come here and i never know so somebody was going to see me in this story and one sunday she i don't know if trust god i pray that god will continue to result i know it's not an easy road the 39 years have not been easy but with godhead we are able to overcome all the obstacles we can say that too many dangers starting snail we have already come it's great that brother saved us far and i know by the grace of god he will lead us on god bless you all in jesus name wonderful service in jesus name and i just want to say thank you again and of all no hard feeling but it's anyway you know how i know about this i saw something in the paper and i didn't know what was going on but i leave from one anniversary service and i went home the night and this good friend passes and bishop send me a greeting and she looks at i say oh my god what is happening now jesus so when i open it i hear all these greetings i say it seems like you have the wrong person mix up you mix up about this so i say wait so when i hear overseer dixon make the announcement after this oh but let me say this is one of the anniversary service of the 39 years i don't know because of the 39 years but i really satisfy and enjoy what have been said it is good to my heart god bless you and i don't know who to turn but i i think i can tell the bishop before his wife closes in prayer with my family and the future pastor praise the lord i think we need your prayer we need your prayer i i was in that service two weeks ago and i tell you i saw the 50th anniversary of the church but god moving that service that what i see happen we should not wait till we did before and can't walk amen anyway i i i can walk i can move but i'm not going to wait until that i come my family come let the bishop pray for us before we leave come carry children and come come when when darwin come here davin was two actually two years old children and their grandchildren we thank you o god that you have called them to the kingdom for such a time as this we pray even now god as they stand even in this 39th year of ministry we thank you god for your sustaining grace which has kept them we thank you for your love which has unfolded them we thank you oh god for preserving them for using them oh god for anointing them for service god almighty as they have wedded the store for these 39 years we thank the lord god that you all have never left them but you were with them in the violence on the mountaintops oh god in the midst of the battles you were there oh god and we thank you o god for what you have done in their lives we pray even now oh god that you will anoint them with a special anointing even as they go forward even as they move into a new year into a new dimension of ministry we pray god that you'll take them higher that you'll anoint them with a fresh oil god a new anointing god almighty to deal with the challenges of this day oh god we pray that you'll continue to abide with them be upon their left and their right to go before them go behind them god stand with them stand in them stand for them stand through them oh god let the power of the holy ghost be evident in their lives god we pray lay your hands upon them bless them indeed enlarge their territory oh god almighty bill offends around them let no weapon that's formed against them prosper and let every tongue that rise up against them be condemned in the name of jesus we pray that you'll open doors for them oh god almighty we pray oh god the windows of heaven be open over them oh god almighty that you'll pour them down a blessing we pray god that you'll continue to pour visions into them we pray god almighty that you'll continue to pour dreams in them that as they lead your people that this church will grow from strength to strength that this church will grow from grace to grace oh god cover their health cover their finances oh god cover this ministry in the name of jesus let your perfect will be done let your name be glorified oh god keep them humble at the cross oh god we pray we pray above everything else god that you will preserve them even unto your coming where they shall hear well done thou good and faithful servant enter thou into the joy of thy salvation preserve them to your coming god where you shall give them your reward father we know that there is a reward awaiting them so we pray god that you'll just help them to remain faithful and even unto the end knowing that you who have called them is not god almighty forgetful and that you are not unfaithful to forget their labor of love but will reward them in juicies if they fail not so we consecrate them and we commit them to your glory hallelujah we commit them to your fatherly care we commit them to your divine hands and we say lead them hallelujah lead them heavenly father lead them holy ghosts lead them lord as they lead the flock of god as they lead this church oh god we pray that you will lead them from glory even unto glory bless now as we declare oh god for thine is the kingdom the power and the glory now and forevermore let the replenish them with verti today we want to thank you lord god almighty hallelujah for all the blessings that have been given to them lord we pray that the seeds that have been sown into their lives today oh god it will be multiplied in the mighty name of jesus lord we thank you for the bread of life that you broke to us today through your servant we pray mighty god that you will replenish him lord and restore virtue into his soul in the mighty name of jesus father as we see for one from the other we pray lord that you will go before us and grant us journeying mercies fly the traps of the enemy we pray and preserve us again o god almighty to come unto you if it is your will we give you all the honor today we give you all the glory today for you have been wonderfully good to us in jesus
