other one up this week glory to god my lesson is taken from matthew 1. verse 18 to round about 21. now the birth of this is why i i said before pertaining sister lisette started singing the name of jesus sister dania came up here and she emphasized the name of jesus and i as brother henry said last week i i have not spoken to anyone with regards to what i was about to say today so matthew first chapter of matthew verse 18. now the birthday hallelujah now the birth of jesus christ was on this wise when his mother mary was exposed to joseph before they came together she was found with child of the holy ghost then joseph her husband being a just man and not willing to make her a public example was minded to put her away privily but while he thought on these things behold the angel of the lord appeared unto him in a dream saying joseph take unto thee mary thy wife for that which is conceived in her is of the holy ghost and she shall bring forth a son and thou shalt call his name jesus for he shall save his people from their sins glory to god now when i read this passage of scripture first i see the bible said that joseph was a just man so he had compassion because for those of you who know in the bible under the the jewish law any damsel as the as the bible put it that was found pregnant during the the engagement period the the the lady and the man who is responsible would be taken to the gates of the city and they would be stoned to death that is the law of the jews if they could not identify who the man was then the damsel would be taken to the gates of the father and she would be put to death so joseph being a just man he was concerned because somehow there was some connection between him and mary so he was concerned for her well-being so he tried in his own way to fatima this thing to see if he could find a way out but holy only did he know that the god of abraham had a way out because he was responsible for what was happening glory to jesus hallelujah hallelujah the the scripture said that the angel said unto him that which is within her is of the holy ghost so there and then there was a responsibility from the holy ghost the holy ghost took responsibility for what was going on hallelujah to god with responsibility comes ris with him taking responsibility that means he is responsible for the well-being of whatsoever was there in mary's womb but the scriptures already identified that it was a son because it said she shall bring forth a son and thou shall call his name jesus so with responsibility brother montague there comes control if you are responsible for your children you are in control of your children so jesus christ was in the control of god that oh hallelujah the report that i love anyway is isaiah's report i say unto us a child is born but here is the the the part of it that really resonated with me unto us our son is given earthly the child heavenly the son so you know brethren when i read this the spirit said to me but i desire to say that unto us our son is given he must have gone in the spirit because this took place in the spirit before it took place in the flesh isaiah said our son is given if we go way back
