hello everyone it's Gladius today we're going over all of it this is everything you need to know about BM Hunters before you step into the raid with your max level 25 Hunter no worries if you're still on your way to 25 and still collecting runes and seeking out things in the world all the Rune locations are in the description for you to grab to make sure that you have everything you need to get started with your Hunter at level 25 we got runes pets add-ons consumables stat priority all of it we're covering it here today the story of Hunter in season of Discovery has just been getting pounded again and again with a Nerf bat time after time so with that in mind if if any of this information does change I will link in the description an updated guide that talks about what we're switching to to support the channel by clicking the link below thank you so much first thing let's talk about the talent build talent build here is going to be for doing raid damage because it's going to increase your damage through aspect of the hawk you're sacrificing some of the pet survivability ility because we're not going to have our pet tanking again right click your grow to turn that off make sure you're not tanking in the dungeon or Raid unless your group asks for it then you can turn it back on but right click on it to turn it off we're going to be picking up five out of five on aspect of the hawk putting three points into endurance training and then coming down for improved revive now improved revive is not going to give you any kind of damage bonus or any combat bonus but I just want to put a scenario out there there are some unavoidable damage that your pet is going to be taking and did have my pet die twice on a fight in the raid and I was only able to get it out again by this improved revive because you can't stand there for the full Channel I see this more as health insurance for your pet we want to grab Five Points and Unleashed Fury and then we're heading down one point in ferocity so of course the damage increase from Unleashed Fury is going to be just fantastic for our pet in general that just that little bit of crit from ferocity is wonderful as well let's shift our attention onto the runes now so first of course we're using our Beast Mastery hands this is going to give a massive buff a monstrous buff to your pet and our pet is going to be doing the majority of our damage as a beast Mastery Hunter next check out aspect of the lion aspect of the Lion's really interesting here CU if you notice it's now changed into an aura you can run the aura of aspect of the lion and also aspect of the hawk at the same time hence why we Speck into it in the tree you're going to get two stacks of this buff if you are the wearer of aspect of the lion and then the 10% port of that it's going to apply to everyone in the raid just that's just a side note on that and for legs we're definitely going to run the Rune kill command kill commands are major DPS cooldown and we definitely want to run it on our legs no question nothing else even comes close for Beast Mastery Hunters okay Talent runes done we're moving on to pet pet there's two Clear Choices we're back to either Raptor or cat there's been a series of Nerfs coming out to pets and these are the two that are really familiar to us from era but uh yeah a cat or a raptor you're going to want to run those keep in mind as a cat you're able to get claw for and bite for right now in phase one you can head over to hillsbrad Foothills to find the giant Moss creeper for bite four and you can head over to ashenvale and grab it from one of the Elder Bears there to get claw for just a quick side note on the pet choice I do have a solo option this thing's awesome for soloing dungeons take a look in the description for my guide on the best solo pet the and bird I tell you all about how to get them and how to power level them all right let's talk about stat priority so first of all that's what makes classic stats so interesting there is a benefit to each of them but of course there's some that are just way more beneficial than others so we're starting at the top with hit chance hit chance is hard to come by you're able to get them off of these gloves which are going to be a crafted item and I have a guide in the description on exactly how you can get these crafted gloves they're not too difficult so any anyway back to the stat priority we definitely want to get hit chance first because missing an attack is a massive our damage is going to be most significantly impacted by our chance to hit with our attacks now who would have guessed it agility is our number one after hit chance we want to get as much agility as we can that's going to be buffing our damage by a significant amount we're getting attack power and we're also getting crit from agility it's just wonderful it's a great stat for us then raw attack power if we find that on items that's really good for us it's just going to incre increase the amount of damage that our attacks are doing Critical Strike comes in just after that crit is pretty important too and then finally a survival stat for us stamina is important for the raid wide damage that's coming out to us it's going to help you survive and your healers will thank you for it spirit's the one I really want to talk about though because spirit will increase your Mana regen when you haven't casted for a while often in classic healers will try to space out their heels as much as they can to get a little bit of Health back for get a little bit of Mana back from Spirit Well notice that you start regening when you don't cast for a while nice thing about hunters is that our Auto attacks don't cancel our between casts regen if we have our spirit kick in we start the natural Mana regen while Auto attacking we're going to be able to regen until we cast Arcane shot multi-shot or something like that again so if you get low on Mana you can just switch to Auto attacks for just a little bit little while and then you'll get Mana back pretty quickly just a little bit of side note I'm not saying stack Spirit no uh but I'm just saying it's not the worst thing if you get a spirit just slapped on a piece of gear and it comes along with agility oh and finally strength strength actually does increase your melee damage okay it impacts melee specifically so in some specs we're going to be doing melee weaving which is really cool a marksman does this just a little bit in this build we're not melee weaving so no worries it won't come into effect here but I just thought I'd mentioned that for in the future when we talk about Marksman all right let's talk about gear en chants first of all we'll go quick on this cuz these are obvious back is going to have lesser agility duh minor stats to the chest of course minor agility to the bracers right lesser impact on the melee weapon again don't worry about this really much at all because we're not going to be meleeing too much but it's fine and then this one is probably the most important if you wanted to grab it the accurate scope for your ranged weapon now I want to give a disclaimer for all of these for the record you're going into level 25 black ra them depths deeps depths you're going into level 25 BFD so I don't think a couple agility is really going to make the difference between you clearing the boss and not clearing the boss go ahead and take it at your own discretion but I would what I would say is just don't feel pressured to dump a ton of gold into enchanting all your pieces before you walk into there if these raids aren't super difficult unless you're talking about kis in the last boss these are a little bit more difficult and definitely a ramp up but still and even those are just focus more on mechanics than necessarily just raw DPS races so I guess what I would say is that if you have pieces you know you're going to have for a while like you get a sweet drop from The Raid or you get your one of your BS that comes from dungeons or something else yeah go ahead and enchant it but I wouldn't enchant something that you're going to be trading out really quickly anyway just my two cents there you make your own decisions though consumables you are only going to want the elixir of agility or the scroll of agility right because they don't stack no you have to pick one or the other so I would go with the elixir of agility it's lot cheaper anyway and I think it gives more consumed on death so you might want to bring some extras and again really no pressure on this I it's the barrier to entry on the rates are much lower it's not meant to be a super sweaty thing of course whenever we talk about anything in wow there's always going to be a group of players that make it sweaty no matter what even though we are just raing BFD but you know again play your way whatever you want to do you make your decision all right our our construction of our hunter is almost complete and then we're going to go over the RO rotation but before we go over rotation let's talk about add-ons that make your rotation pretty much autoplay I'm going to point out two add-ons that you absolutely need that's going to make your life so much easier six fix six fix six fix swing timer six fix swing timer is going to be the first add-on we talk about this one is going to actually show an animation at the bottom of your character that's going to show you when you should stop moving and when your auto shot is ready for anyone who doesn't know in classic versions of World of Warcraft your character your Hunter cannot shoot while moving this is different than retail so you do have to stop moving to get your auto shot off your attack speed on your weapon is going to impact how quickly you're able to get that next Auto shot off compounding with this you also can cancel your auto attack if you try to cast certain Spells at the same time so you want to be weaving in your spells like Arcane shot and multi-shot between when you're doing your auto shots we'll go over that more in detail when we talk about rotation in just a second but before we get there let's talk about Doom cool cool down pulse this is my personal favorite add-on for classic wow this is fantastic because it tracks all your cooldowns and you're going to see an animation in the middle of your screen every time a cool down is up this includes your big ones like cool command cool what cool command uh kill command this one is going to be the big cool down so it attracts your big ones and then also attracts your small ones so you're able to see whenever your multi-shot is ready and whenever your Arcane shot is ready so I'm just leaving you with two for now these are my two highly suggested add to make your your autoplay Hunter really really work all right let's talk about rotations now we're going to break this down into two pieces there's the pre-pull and then the during fight rotation so before you pull you can mark the enemy at any time Hunter Mark does not pull aggro or on pull you want to make sure you send your pet as soon as you see the tank running towards the mob to account for travel time and then once the tank makes contact and starts generating threat at that point you can put out your serpent sting so preo we're going to Mark sen pet serpent sting now during the fight you're going to want to use kill command on cool down whenever you have cool command why do I keep calling it cool command kill command so whenever you have kill command you're going to go ahead and use it it's about a minute cool down so it's going to be up several times during one of the more lengthier fights and boss fights now if you're watching your swing timer below you're going to see it change animations during the times that you you should be shooting at the time that you can shoot your spell it's important to do this because if you try to shoot your spell at the same time as an auto shot it's going to do something called clipping it's going to reset your your timer again and you're going to skip an auto attack and you don't want to do that now I got two more things for you so first of all if BM is not your style and you're more interested in Marksman I have a marksman guide coming out in the description I do think overall BM is stronger and just easier but once you get one of the really good weapons out out of BFD specifically the crossbow the arbalist at the end off the seventh boss if you do get that then you can consider switching to Marksman because your damage is just going to be insane with that but for coming into BFD the BM spec is is better it's just it's best to to walk in with that but really you make your decision again like we're talking about level 25 BFD do what you want to do have fun and second thing I got for you all is if you're wondering what you should be doing at level 25 there's a lot of options a lot of different things you can take a look at I have a guide in the description on the priorities and things you should focus on keep in mind the great thing about season Discovery right now is that there's no mandatories it's like whatever content really sounds interesting to you go for it and remember this is phase one phase two is coming out and we'll be able to move on to all new content so
