today I'm giving you the best graphic and controller settings for console and this is regardless if you are on Playstation or Xbox and some of these things will apply to PC but you'll kind of have to pick and choose what makes the most sense we'll go ahead and start off with one of the most important parts which is the controller settings they did change certain things to allow you to slide cancel like modern warfare 2019 if you're a fan of that or if you really like the way it was in the beta so you have the opportunity to dive and slide we'll go ahead and talk about both of those and where to put your aim assist on top of that I'll have a video explaining how to find the perfect sensitivity and controller settings a little bit more in depth but I'll go over some basic stuff for you here basic controller input obviously you're going to be on controller if keyboard and mouse that'd be different uh edit layout you do get a lot of layouts that you can choose from some people like tactical because they want to do Drop shots uh to really depends on how the movement is you can go ahead and use that for sliding and still being able to aim but it can have a problem where it can destroy your controller I do have a controller with paddles so you kind of kind of take that into consideration that I'm not going to be doing that and you can really bind whatever you want however you want on there so you can go ahead and go that route I do flip triggers a little more comfortable for PlayStation controllers to go and spam the way you hold the controller there Xbox I don't really enjoy it that much to go that way so usually I turn that one off default stick layout I usually don't swap that one out at all vibration is typically off there are people that will put that on but generally A good rule of thumb is to have that one off trigger effect off hatic feedback might be cool for some games but not for Call of Duty dead zones this is one of the most important ones that a lot of people struggle with because they don't really understand it but they've added a new tool so you can see exactly what your controller is doing if you have a really old controller it's going to be doing all this weird like like drifting off to the side and it'll be kind of like shaking and that probably means you need a new controller that's kind of what that means you can see mine even after about 6 to8 months it still stays pretty true you can see there's a little bit of sick drift on the right one and right there I do have the the right one where I can drop that in and maybe do a three stick drift uh you kind of want to get as low as you can without your character kind of moving or barely moving because when you do get a little bit of stick drift it does help with aim assist yes it does allow you to stay on target I know it's broken but if you know how to use it you're going to be able to be shooting accurate aiming I use 66 sensitivity normally lower is generally better for the vast majority of players anywhere between 4 to eight like I said I'm going to dive into this a little bit deeper into its own dedicated video to help you find where yours at but generally if it's more accurate you're going to hit more shots and if you hit more shots you generally win the gunfight probably wouldn't go below four unless you really need it and then I use a 08 multiplier you go ahead and could put this at one you could even put this down to 6 and then raise your sense a little higher and kind of figure that out for you tag stance you can modify with that one I haven't had enough time to really play with the tag stance I know a lot of people aren't necessarily using that Dynamic aim response curve is a preference some people will say it has more aim assist but it really just comes down to how it moves the controller it allows you to be very accurate especially when you get used to it uh but standard is very good linear's good it really comes down to the player but I think more people kind of adopted the dynamic response curve one other thing you could do is especially if you're going to be using snipers or something like that you might want to put a high Zoom optic a little bit further out but since we're staying in multiplayer and the map's lengths aren't necessarily as crazy maybe in ground war you kind of want to find two this for a high Zoom optic so it still feels comfortable uh when you are using a different optic because the higher Zoom will be so so slow uh you might want to be able to adjust that as you go in there as well uh Target a assist is on and then I use Black Ops a assist you can either use Black Ops or default it's marginal difference almost indistinguishable which one's going to be which but do not use Precision or focusing unless you are very comfortable with how those ones work I wouldn't I would if you're asking why why not just use default or Black Ops that's definitely the way to go then third person correct assist it's just there and then you're pretty much good to go there automatic tactical Sprint that's going to help with a little bit more Mobility if you find that you get caught in the tack Sprint animation a little too much it might be worth turning that one off or just going to automatic Sprint so you don't break and wear down your controller I have tap for tactical Sprint uh grounded mantle off Airborne mantle uh off and then automatic ground mantle hang off and then tap to slide and that'll allow you to go just slide and be straightforward that way uh you can also do tap to Dive Dive only SL only so this is the part that I was talking about specifically when it comes to slide cancelling I will show you the difference right now um after we get through these last two settings plunging underwater free parachute Auto deoy off that's more for ground war if you jump out of the the plane or in Battle Royale right sprinting door bash on mantle only and then we have slide cancel Sprint on uh aim down sight hole tactical Sprint Focus change Zoom it's pretty standard weapon mounting all these are default pretty much all these are default except for apply all armor plates but then again that's war zone so when we go in the firing range you kind of can slide cancel like this you can slide and you stop the slide if you aim down sight you can go ahead and stop the slide through there and basically all you do to slide cancel is slide and then jump slide and jump slide and then jump slide and then jump and what happens is because you have slide and dive on the game has to wait a small amount of time to decide whether or not you're holding it long enough to do an actual dive or a slide and that makes it so that the start of the slide is a little bit delayed by a few like 100 milliseconds 200 Mill it's pretty slow but if we go into the settings and we adjust it we can get rid of the dive and make it so it's slide only what this will do is make it so it feels a little bit more responsive so when you slide it already happens instantly it already knows it's going to feel like modern warfare for 2019 so but that's at the cost of getting rid of the dive it's because of the way the movement is slide jump slide jump and it's actually even smoother than 2019 if you want to go ahead and go that route so go ahead and try each one if you want one or the other if you prefer 2019 movement you're probably going to stick with one but keep in mind you will not be able to dive reminder before we get into all the graphics if you enjoy the video you find it which I think a lot of people Miss over um so on texture streaming on world motion blur off weapon blur film grain that's kind of been standard forever depth the field off Fidelity cast on and I would keep this 70 plus and it just makes your game look a little bit better Some people prefer all the way to 100 with the sharpness but each one's different eco mode efficiency I have 120 HZ monitor I play at 107 fov typically multiplayer professionals they play between 95 and 105 uh since I play both war zone and multiplayer I usually keep it kind of in the middle because a lot of times the pros in Warzone will push that to 120 so that one is 100% preference but keep in mind that the further the target is away uh it'll look smaller because you use a wider fov uh lease camera movement inverted off you could make it so it does Darkness instead of light and then you got third person transition game perspective brightness safe area is a great one and this one what it does is it brings in the corner of your mini map that top left edge of that white corner right below safe area on the left is where your mini map will sit if I go ahead and stretch this out I have to look further on my screen to go ahead and kind of see where the mini map is again this one could be a little bit of preference but I would recommend tighten up just a little bit so when your eyes are working from Center to back and forth fractions of seconds will be able to add up and allow you to be more likely to stay on target especially since you should be looking at the mini map approximately every two seconds if you're actually playing Call of Duty um the mini map is that important so then we get to interface again like I said this is the secret sauce of making it look good on top of everything so you can choose whatever color palette you want I wouldn't really worry too much about that that one you can swap after we make this next change and that is to switch to color Filter 2 color filter Target is both and that'll apply it to your interface and your world if you go ahead and turn this off it makes the colors a little bit more dull and you can go ahead and boost that up the color to and it just brightens it a little more vibrant you don't need any special color saturation on your monitor it just improves it there and then if you wanted to go in and and adjust these to make them even brighter of the colors you definitely could you can go here and go all right well I'm just going to swap that to the other red this other white uh that's about as white as it goes we got orange good there green we can actually go to a more vibrant green if we wanted we can go Blue we can actually go a different color blue if we wanted make it that way and then yellow we kind of can go with the brighter yellow if we wanted and that will help with the vibrancy as you go through and look at different things in game it just makes your game look that much better without having to really do anything else
