all ym series tractors feature a 10-year powertrain warranty which covers the engine transmission front axle and final drive along with a two-year bumper-to-bumper warranty and a one-year attachment engineered in-house as for the ym342a specifically it features a 41.4 horsepower 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine the engine utilizes yanmar's innovative fuel injection system and combustion chambers to create an unbeatable level of power and efficiency because of this the engine helps the tractor get through the heaviest jobs easily as i mentioned before all the ym series tractors are gear driven instead of hydrostatic like all of the other yanmar tractors in the case of the ym series the operator has full control of the tractor's power with the dry single main clutch and synchronized main shifter located behind the steering wheel the tractor is two-wheel drive four-wheel drive selectable with four main gears as well as a high and low setting giving the operator 8 forward and 8 reverse gear shift options when i first hopped on this machine i was extremely impressed with how smooth the transition was the tractor is not jerky at all plus switching from forward to reverse is smooth as better but being a smooth operator only gets a tractor so far luckily for myanmar they have also packed in a boatload of power on this compact tractor for example the max lift capacity for the three-point hitch is an impressive 3 190 pounds so pulling out trees toting around trailers brush hogging land and lifting large bales will all be a breeze behind this 41.4 horsepower tractor the really cool thing about the three-point hitch is that it is both a cat one and a cat two meaning you can quite literally run anything behind this tractor with the right pto and hydraulic power from a user standpoint this is great because if you already own a few three-point attachments they will most likely work on this tractor also finding attachments that will fit will be much easier the three-point also features telescopic lower link ends as well as one to two additional remote control valves for your log splitter or any other three-point hydraulic attachments did i mention the drawbar that comes standard now the total hydraulic flow for the ym342a is 14.6 gallons per minute a total of 5.3 for the steering and 9.3 gallons per minute for the attachments the ym 605 loader that comes on the tractor comes standard with a universal skid steer quick attach a bucket level indicator the bucket that comes on the loader is a 72 inch bucket with a total capacity of 10.9 cubic feet you'll be able to easily fill that entire bucket plus some because the max lifting capacity on the ym605 loader is 2 500 pounds the loader has a lift height of 113 inches a dump clearance of 87.6 inches with a 85 degree dump angle a max rollback angle of 40 degrees the loader is a quick connect loader with stance so you can take this loader off whenever you'd like to decrease the tractor's total length before i go any further i want to mention that the weight of the tractor without the loader is 3916 pounds now if you include the loader the total weight of the tractor is 5 128 pounds we have already covered a lot of great features that come on the ym342a and as i already mentioned all of these same great features also come on all the other ym series tractors namely the ym347 and ym-359 but there are still a lot of other features that come on this tractor such as the awesome cup holder with storage compartments as well as a fully adjustable air ride seat the built-in comfort of the ym series carries all the way down into the large floorboard of the tractor no transmission between your feet here folks but it doesn't stop there the floorboard is actually an isolated floorboard to provide more comfort and less vibration for the operator the side step that springs from the floorboard is well positioned making it easy to get on and off the tractor the fuel tank is positioned beneath the floorboard making it easy to fill up the fuel tank also the ym342a has a ground clearance of 15.5 inches a wheelbase of 74.8 inches and a turning radius of 138 inches i particularly appreciate the way the hood opens up out of the way all the major filters and fluids are easy to access replace or fill up time for that glorious moment the cost of the tractor now if you want to purchase the ym342a with the front loader you'll likely be spending right around twenty eight thousand nine hundred dollars now not all dealerships sell their yanmar tractors for the exact same price and the price could have gone up depending on when you're watching this video now you can also finance this tractor if you'd like and you'll probably be paying between 300 and 400 dollars
