there's been a lot of talk of you know how to failure to go in man short protected the zones but how much of that had to do with this being like CIA and and I guess spooks two of the nation's who and the government trying to be hands-off and how much was it just failure and protocol going up to it you don't know it's above our pay grade I mean I can we can speculate all day long but that's all it would be a speculation and the movies not about speculations about the truth that happened on the ground my name is Christian paronto and my callsign is Tonto and I was with the second Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment I was in Bravo Company names uh John Tegan a former Marine did four years with the 3rd battalion 7th Marines my name is Mark Geist my callsign zooss I was in the marine corps for 12 years I was in Benghazi for about 30 days wouldn't the attack happened that night everybody this is Jack Silva yeah it's our third contract together so he knows the drill we had the DB former Marine Jack it was a seal and then roan he was a seal it was a good crew thirty so we take away I mean there's a lot of a lot of bottom pack before happen and everything but how cool is it just to have Michael Bay directed a film I have actors playing you guys like how's that feeling this look on a screen and Cecil - emulating you you know I don't know it's just weird yeah not something would have ever thought of happening yeah yeah we don't ever ask what the stuff that we did and overseas and you know wait doing what what our job was and there's Christ pressures that sometimes we're under stressful situations we don't get we don't get in awe of actors or guys like Mike and that I think got helped because we were able to really open up and develop friendship relationships with Michael Bay and Irwin stuff and the guys that portray us because we weren't starstruck yeah and that helped because it when you go on screen I I do I see max as Oz I see Dominic is TIG and I think because we weren't starstruck and we were able to just conversate with them they got our personalities down the Garmon yeah yeah Bob Lee did it actually job playing he did I mean you know and the comment when max he makes a comment in there where he's almost defending the chief of base Tyrone in the guys you know but why maybe this is why he's doing the decisions he made you know and that's that's me I mean Dominic Dominic I think every one of the most difficult role that he played for Dolman cuz you tell me I don't hear the talk he talks he talks so much shut up all the time yeah she's always talking you know but and it comes out in the movie I mean you know he had instead of having the words to betray him he had to do you know it's his mannerisms and he nailed it how much of a firewood how much of where you guys are part of the whole scripting of it like like was it like just revising where you're on set and say hey no you need to do this like this or was it all the way to the script where I was like what this needs to be in a story this doesn't I can look at both your all the movie making the movies like the game everything up to that point is as that's practice so you start with and we did have a lot of involvement with the script and with Chuck chuckling very great great guy Annie he wanted to make sure he got accurate so we we were able to read the script with Michael Bayon and make changes if we thought we needed to recommend changes for and make sure the set was designed correctly and then I said getting to know our actors and how to make sure the actors that portrayed us got our manners correctly and then even just attacking portions and being on so that's when we got on set that's the games already started now we do we did have time there to be there and Michael would ask us of things does this look right does this look right and that was that was also actually a very positive verification that he wanted to get the movie accurate so yeah we better heavily involved from start to finish yeah there's one scene in this movie I mean there's a lot of intense scenes but when you guys are at the ambassador's compound and there's all these people around you with guns and everything else and and you're like I just fine in it just like is this amazing to think that you could be surrounded by people that you're North different default that goes back to our military training and just the discipline that individual guys having you know I just I mean if we don't know who's who's the good guy who's the bad guy you know it's just the but you got to watch their mannerism and you know if they're gonna if they got a gun if they're gonna bring it up towards you and of course you can't just sit there and stare I'm you're gonna judge them like really quick and you keep on moving and you know is and we don't imitate this absolutely unit lives you can see when somebody's out of place new yeah you know you can tell that whatever it is and you have to read that like five ticks head you know you it's you process it I mean is that a threat nope I'm looking for work and you know every time I'm looking at someone haven't deciding if that's work or not people would take that I don't know we don't we're not murderers but we don't take we don't indiscriminately shoot people mostly we did - I tried to shoot him because I like it and there's a bad shot cuz he's a ranger so I couldn't hit him exactly good thing but that's it but it you know I'm like they got that and because you can see that where we want to make sure that that we want to make sure that that we're we're the bad guys getting taken out not just some local bystander that has nothing to do with what's going on there there's been a lot of talk of you know how to failure they going man short protecting the zones but how much of that had to do with this being like CIA II and and I guess spooks two of the nation's who end and the government trying to be hands-off and how much was it just failure and protocol going up to it you don't know it's above our pay grade I mean I can we can speculate all day long but that's all it would be a speculation and the movies not about speculations about the truth that happened on the ground you know from when we got the call to 13 hours later when the last guy got out of Benghazi I mean and that's what we can you know that's pretty much what we know about before we did the movie was is because there was so much speculation going on out there there was so and and then the politicians got a hold of it and then make sure mita started to get a hold of it and they just twisted Internet and all we could do was this is what took place on the ground this is what the combat was this is what we went through that night anything above that we did as a movie we didn't get into it we didn't the stuff where you see the DoD Department of fence guys in the military guys there and their assets there but not moving well that's just fact but it doesn't get into any but anything about who said what who didn't let the support come to us but and that's all we could get into it's just what we knew you're black and white of it well much respect to all you guys for sharing your story our film and uh was that really the last light we just like I'm I walked in here and I'm walking out was that yeah he said that well I believe you guys walk down and much respect to your fallen comrades
