Beautiful Historic Forgotten Rose Mansion in South Carolina built in 1948

[Music] [Music] all right here we are today checking out the sally abney rose house although it looks like it was built pre-civil war it's actually built in the 1950s it's got some really cool architecture kind of got an interesting little story let's check it out man what a cool place little stray cats out front hey kitty oh i wish i brought some food for you i might have to go get some cat food and come back hey kitty hey kitty oh holy cow these steps are marble let me turn my light [Music] walking right into the grand stairway oh my goodness let me stand back here and show you this different angle oh look at the plaster work man so much cool details okay show you this room over to the left okay look at the parquet floors man this beautiful little closed in back porch let me get a little look at this holy cow cheese let me show you this over here then i'll head back to the main house man really smash this place up okay now this is the end of the this side of the house man this place is huge he could probably fit five or six families in this house it's not even worth showing that old door for that new doorknob this is cool just imagine this hallway when this house was built though when this house was lived in imagine this all not smashed out okay that's where i walked in over there so let's go this way there's my buddy zanes and logan over there yeah wow look at the detailing on the ceiling and those are massive columns let me just show you a shot like this is nice okay let's continue on yeah this is that cool staircase i showed you at the very beginning i already showed you the whole other left side of the house over there let's check out over here beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows i can only imagine what that fireplace mantle would look like it had been beautiful someone definitely stole that or they sold it so apparently the woman who owned this house passed away in the early 2000s she lived here you know her whole life basically traveled the world and stuff really incredible lady i think her name was sally rose or something like that i'll share more information in the description here we are in the kitchen of the house a beautiful view hmm this is the second kitchen all right that's cool it had the built-in ironing board i've seen that in a few old houses it's pretty cool all right let's check out upstairs so i'm about to walk upstairs but look at this but i didn't even notice this this is an actual elevator shaft i'm almost positive this house was fancy enough it had an elevator isn't that something else it's too cool so that's cool it's like a serpentine marble or something i don't know what a cool house all right let's check it upstairs it's too cool do you guys see the elevator shaft this house was fancy back in the day dude is there another it looks like there's another floor above it too there's another staircase up here oh man hmm that's a little upstairs bathroom [Music] oh that stinks i'm getting out of there that's awful okay this room didn't really lead anywhere man there's a grand house that mantle's still there okay let's go down this creepy hallway yuck holy cow that's where the elevator leads up it absolutely is an elevator shaft man what a rich house what a fancy place holy cow what is that like there's a guest house over there i guess i'll show that at the end let me just focus on getting this house filmed first all right that's this whole side of the house let's move the other side okay yeah you're good man the elevator shaft is open be careful let me just get one shot looking at this window i really like this view all right let's keep moving left i don't have my good flashlight with me today i'm sorry about that let's see uh let's just go this way okay open the door up this is the last room of this floor it's perfect no way this is pictures of the house back in the day that's the front view of the house looking up from the pond this is the back side of the house that's incredible let me show you this room over here i guess this floor is kind of sketchy what's this the master uh master bathroom yep that's a hole upstairs cool all right oh man this is my least favorite [Music] i don't have my good flashlight with me today i don't know you get a good idea though i'll give you a gist of it it's pretty hot up here too honestly it's august in south carolina it's hot or it's actually september now nevermind september all right so make me um
