BeamNG Drive - Civetta Bolide DESTROYS the Nordschleife in Racing Simulator

no why why god why would you do that [Music] pale and well met not mere moments after i uploaded my feature video of the new beeman g 0.24.1 update i was accustomed with possibly the most predictable request of all time [Music] take the remastered bolide onto the nordschleifer i was going to say no just to spite you all but who am i kidding it doesn't take car mighty asking for me to have an excuse to take anything onto the nordcliffer the reason the truvada didn't feature in the last video is because it deserved a video all to itself namely this one this is quite possibly one of the most awaited remasters in beam in g history so we really have to make sure we do it justice largely by taking the group 5 variants onto the longest and most treacherous race track in the world last time it was all about american muscle today it's all about italian passion avanti amici andiamo [Music] well this is what you all wanted so here we go oh yeah couldn't resist all right let's do this firstly a big thank you to my friends from archangel sim racing group for this sick shirt also this sick v m shifter i'm gonna use for this run it's great to be able to finally drive manual cars as insane and homicidal as they may be now the bolide is absolutely crazy here on the nordschleife i've had to use the stock group 5 setup where i haven't had to but i'm a bit of a pleb so i can't quite work out how to save my custom tune as something i can pick up on the time trials the problem with this is that the car is grossly unstable in this setup has way too much front brake vice and it's kind of both under and oversteery at the same time now it looks absolutely gorgeous as you would have seen oh my god on the remaster footage but um it still drives very similar to how it used to so i'm wondering if it's actually had a physics model overhaul because it feels very floaty and very scary i'm gonna break early oh my god now it's definitely not an f1 believe it or not um given that i've been driving the mercedes f1 and i racing around here a lot lately i've had to completely re-learn how to drive this track because basically all of this is flat out in the f1 not so much in the bully there oh no i feel like i may not have gotten on that early no no good okay i'm getting it i'm starting to get it guys i'm starting to work it out slowly i anticipate a horrific horrific launch life of time now we're not doing bridge to gantry of course doing the industry fighting thing the full nordschleife lap right so anything in the low to mid 7 minute range is going to be pretty impressive for a car of this age oh man it's not easy i will tell you that it's certainly not you gotta overslow here on the slow bit because once the turbo boost kicks in i haven't jacked it up it's still at the stock 21 psi once that once that turbo spools up that is it you lose all of your rear grips you've got to change the rear diff open it up a bit more in my opinion of course i haven't done because i'm using the stock setup which is oh my god snaps it snaps no no no no right so you want to break nice and early past the pleb tree don't want any unintended mishaps here that's for sure so coming up in sector two this is where i really start to wonder if i'm gonna be able to pull out the goods i have to do this i was gonna say in one take but i've already kind of failed there haven't i i just have to get to the end of the track and uh so far i've not actually managed to make it past sector three in this car it's so insanely difficult to drive around here it's it just won't turn it is pretty much the polar opposite of that f1 i've been driving around here oh my god the brakes just don't they're just not a thing they're more of an implication rather than something that operates the way that one would always expect it to i'm not even going to shift up there that's how afraid i am oh the brakes so too much front brake vice setup is all over the place it's just jumping around no stability on the rear as you can see rear death is too locked he's just trying to throw me around i'm just gonna coast i'm gonna coast through there nice and easy slow in still slow out okay we've made it through we're halfway through the track now that's something it may not be a lot but it's something i'm gonna turn my lights on hell yeah it works all right all right coast coast him you can go you're allowed to coast don't oh my no what was that what the hell was that oh okay oh man all right i don't think i've ever had that happen before in anything ever drive at your own risk it kind of has everything it has understeer it has oversteer it has just random snaps that are almost uncontrollable it has really bad low speed handling or it's actually like truly impressive in how much it just wants you to not survive a laugh and honestly after what i'm used to when i racing i feel like i'm driving in slow motion but it's still oh man i don't even know so this is the first time i've made it to sector three uh let's see how we go i'm gonna downshift everywhere there we go nice and easy oh this is a section that requires a lot of aerodynamics it's everything that the turbo lag just the works it all just wants to end you okay we made it through with them then oh man i don't want to speak too soon there no hey why why god why would you do that right so this is a little bit awful i have to say i it's taken me more than a few attempts to get back here to sector three uh it's getting easier and easier each time but uh in the in the whole totality of things i don't think a car should be this hard to drive around the nordschleife yet the ball lied really is oh god it doesn't like to get weightless it's almost like there's no aerodynamics on it at all it has this entire body kit but it's almost like the body kit does nothing it doesn't feel like there's any kind of aerodynamic grip at speed just feels like it's all coming mechanically and uh not great at that either so i am praying at this point i kind of just want this to end uh in the in the grand scheme of beam and g experiences most of the time i just want to spend more time in beam i just want to enjoy myself more keep doing what i'm doing more this is the first time i've ever had an experience that i just want to end really badly in beam it's almost impossible to judge what the car is going to do around any of these corners the slightest bump can upset it and cause a snap an irrecoverable snap it can just go on you at any point it is a very odd handling car it's not enjoyable it's really not sure that's going to gain me so many brownie points with the fan base but yes um maybe maybe another car for your tourists and fighting dreams oh we almost thought no i can't speak too soon i can't speak too soon it can all end can always all end in this car no no no no you know what screw it screw it it's i'm finishing like this i'm not doing this again i'm not did you see that understeer did you see the amount of unsee it's like it just like it doesn't even have a front axle like what it i turned the wheel and it's like in there not today well we can go straight really fast like really fast it's like gt3 speed no faster my god it has doesn't have enough downforce then that's what that means oh no really how why what what why what the hell is going on that's the final one that's the final gate right there i almost finished it well this has been all together atrocious let's see if we can do it this time no punctures please let's understand please come on just get it onto dirting it can probably survive going straight maybe so let's recap this car's handling it feels like it's dancing and floating all over the track the rear wing feels like it's made of paper mache i.e it's not actually doing anything with the wind it understeers into corners it oversteers out of corners and it can snap uncontrollably through mid corner and bloody hell does it go fast let's start slowing down right now i don't trust this thing i just i want it to end guys i just want this to end i don't even care about anything else yeah fourth fourth is good fourth is nice and good yeah i'm gonna really slow this thing down yeah yeah nice and easy gonna granny drive these last couple of corners whoa you're kidding me you're kidding me 6 55 for that kind of plebi lap wait so i was going a lot faster than i thought i was i don't know what to make of this guys normally bmg is super fun this time i was kind of counting the seconds down for this to end so normally i would say get it try it for yourself but
