WITH THE SNOW AND WIND AND THE TRAFFIC IT COULD BE JUST A MESS. >>> WE ARE LOOKING AT MORE SNOW HEADING THROUGH TOMORROW. AND THAT IS ALSO GOING WITH MORE BAY AREA RAIN CHANCES HEADING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. NOT QUITE DONE YET WITH THIS LITTLE BURST HERE OF WINTER WEATHER WE'VE BEEN SEEING. LET'S TAKE TO YOU THE MICROCLIMATE FORECAST AND GET YOU READY TO GO FOR THE WEEKEND. AND WE WANT TO START IT OFF BACK IN THE BAY WITH A LOOK AT THE WIND. IT WAS NOT TOO BAD EARLIER TODAY. BUT REALLY OVER THE PAST COUPLE HOURS IT'S REALLY STARTED TO RAMP UP YOU'LL SEE BY 9:00 P.M. TONIGHT GETTING THE RED TO MAGENTA COLOR OVER THE MOUNTAINS GUSTS AT 40 TO 5037 LOWER ELEVATIONS 35. AS WE ROLL INTO TOMORROW YOU CAN SEE THE WIND STARTS TO DECREASE AT 8:00 IN THE MORNING. AND THEN THAT WOULD CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY. NOW, THE THING THAT'S PRODUCING THE WIND IS THIS QUICK-MOVING SYSTEM DROPPING DOWN FROM THE NORTH. ALSO A COLD BLAST OF AIR EVEN THE CHANCE OF RAIN AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. NOW, THIS SYSTEM IS PICKING UP SPEED. IT'S ABOUT 10 HOURS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. SO INSTEAD OF GETTING THE BEST RAIN CHANCES TOMORROW MORNING IT REALLY LOOKS LIKE TONIGHT WE'LL HAVE THE POSSIBILITY OF SOME OF THE RAIN AND MAYBE SOME MORE ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. YOU CAN SEE IT RIGHT HERE BARRELING RIGHT DOWN THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA COASTLINE. NO RAIN IN THE BAY AREA RIGHT NOW. BUT, AGAIN, IT'S JUST KNOCKING ON OUR DOOR. LET'S SHOW YOU HERE. 8:00, WE COULD SEE ISOLATED HEAVIER DOWNPOURS NEAR SANTA ROSA WITH ANY OF THE HEAVY DOWNPOURS THERE IS THE CHANCE OF SMALL HAIL WE'VE BEEN SEEING ON AND OFF THROUGHOUT THE WEEK. 10:00 IT'S OVER SAN FRANCISCO TO THE EAST BAY WITH THAT CHANCE OF RAIN. AND THEN BY 11:30 WE'RE DOWN TO THE SOUTH BAY. MAYBE SOME LOW SNOW THERE FOR MOUNT HAMILTON. SNOW LEVELS HOVERING AROUND 2,000 TO 2500 FEET. AND FOR TOMORROW MORNING WE HOLD THE POSSIBILITY OF SCATTERED RAIN CHANCES AT 5:00 IN THE MORNING. THEN WE SHOULD SEE THINGS DRY OUT THROUGHOUT THE DAY WITH CLOUDS INCREASING HERE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. AND THEN EVENTUALLY BY SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY, WE GET IN ON SOME DRYER WEATHER AND MORE OF THE SUNSHINE RETURNING BACK TO THE BAY. SNOW IN THE SIERRA, WE SAW THE ROCK SLIDE. STILL LOOKING AT AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES HEADING THROUGH TONIGHT AND TWO TOMORROW. TO PREPARE FOR THOSE WINTER CONDITIONS. NOW, RIGHT HERE IN THE BAY AREA TOMORROW MORNING, THE SYSTEM BRINGS DOWN A COLD BLAST OF AIR. WE'LL BE STARTING IT OFF MUCH COLDER. HAVE THE HEAVIER JACKET 39 IN THE SOUTH BAY. TRI-VALLEY 37. 30s AS WELL OVER THE EAST BAY APPEAR THROUGH THE NORTH BAY. DAYTIME HIGHS TOMORROW GOING TO HAVE A HARD TIME REALLY BUDGING UP. WE'LL BE IN THE COLDEST DAY OF THE WEEK AHEAD WITH PLENTY OF 50s FROM THE NORTH BAY DOWN TO THE SOUTH BAY. ON MY SEVEN-DAY FORECAST, SAN FRANCISCO LOOKS GOOD ON SUNDAY. SUNNY SKIES AND 58 AND PLENTY OF SUNSHINE NEXT WEEK. INLAND VALLEYS ALSO EVENTUALLY WARM UP. WE'VE GOT IT TO 65 ON SUNDAY. LOW 70s TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. SO WE GET THROUGH TONIGHT AND I THINK WE'VE GOT A PRETTY GOOD WEEKEND COMING
