Basic Cinema 4d Tutorial l Speaker animation with sound effector(no plugins)

we're going to learn how to do this speak animation just so at the beginning i'm going to try to be quick on this one it's fairly simple so let's just begin so today we're just going to start with this tube all right let's just um put this 200 and let's just do one 150 actually let's do 180 okay we just bring this to 60 segments and then between five to the height which is so um actually okay right bring this up trying to try and do just a basic speaker won't waste much time to just really in terms of the accuracy but this will do so like so let's bring another sphere there 60 hemisphere so just duplicate this just hide this for a minute okay rotate this 180 and i'll try to get it to the same radius so that was about let me just just check here that's 170 let's just try get it today all right actually let me just bring it to 160 you see why so it's been a while since i've done it tutorials have been just away doing some projects so now i'm back hopefully this might help you on your next project okay let's just bring this up so just bring that hollow let's extrude i'm assuming you have the basic knowledge of cinema 4d if you do you'll be able to be do able to do this it's fairly simple really let's easy it up and then let's just unhide all things there you go let's try 50 80 all right let's convert this and make editable bring it down a little bit so all right i'm just gonna delete some here then select this edges and extrude just just offset scale this out like so you can put however size you want to those two work so then now we group out our speaker my inner section so just name this this is all right just group this like so all right let's get to arcturus take this editor it's done okay fine let me just optimize first select all optimize you can right click there's optimize i just use my custom layout be quickly do this let's bring out our cube just bring out that speaker shape all right let's just [Music] bring our cylinder me just put this to 180 all right 200 yeah that'll work okay so i'm just gonna do right [Music] okay i'm just gonna duplicate this like so duplicate i'm just going to group these two [Music] right okay duplicate this two all right scale this down all right it's our work okay so speed is small so once we are done with uh you can rename how you want it i'm a bit messy right now but you know my main focus is on the speaker difference so once we've got our basic speaker set up just going to do all motion that's boom boom if it's sound effect so what we do here now is we put a sound defector for us to put a sound effect out our speaker has to be in a more graph so just put it in a cloner and just you can just go ahead and put one day like so then just go to small graph effector just select sound um okay i'm just gonna group this so we don't get lost here okay speaker all right repeat the same step [Music] steps okay let's just speak a small more graph victor sound okay so once this is done we come to a sound right there and we select assault i don't know this is a trick of mine let me just i found it on youtube man actually so let me just put that there just our parameters let's just bring that two to eight this is for the large one let's just repeat the same step not sound all right powering it up let's just press play and see what happens so what it does just automatically it does the job for you instead of keyframing it just animates according to the amplitude as you can see there okay if you wanted to just run faster just and click all frames then then we come to our let me just group this as well all right let's just bring our camera set on our camera v like so let's get to a couple of tags this camera tags camera attacks camera tags oh come on yeah motion camera tags actually yeah so motion camera so what happens now is just [Music] removed whatever's here is just close the position okay fine back so actually i'm just being i'm just freestyling i always there's a better way of doing this it's not by far the or you map it so now let's just press play and just adjust my height a little bit let's try and bring this down like so okay so motion is a bit um it's just too strong let me just adjust this just come to a preset a steady cone stadium look slow so i then did it came to about 80 frames then on my parallax section and keyframe that one so keep that so keyframe so now when you play just like so okay so that makes it more dynamic just adding just a bit of movement so yes after this then you then put your materials and um you know gets the job done so you know this bring it up like so bring our sky so double click we know material b just for y so click just bring a texture for speaker okay let's just bring our reflect as the legacy all right actually let me just put it to [Music] 5 5 strength 10 specular okay just bring our roughness there you go just like this thing like this three okay i didn't see how it looks like right now okay let's just go to our settings effect spring ambient conclusion like so let's try again all right so okay okay let me just apply some material things let me just duplicate this for speaker so um just downloads just the gray hood and texture i downloaded if we need put it b q just put it to cubic let's take this to 90. let's get that continue slowly just put my seamless so let's check it out oh yeah let me just adjust this 200 turn id seams you've got a better way of doing it it doesn't matter as long as you get the job done so i think it's coming out i think it just came out good so write the okay just there's a floor i see some shadows so our floor wasn't touching our speaker box so there was no shadows so otherwise guys that's pretty much it that's pretty much it hopefully this helps you on your
