was baptized when she was? - (Rhoda) 11.
- (Sergio) Wow! And I was baptized
when I was 14. And today is a special event because my sister,
at the age of 12, has decided to follow
Christ in baptism. So, it's a very special
event for the family and a few members
from the church as well. So, we hope that you
like this episode. It's definitely very special
and personal to us. (Sergio) Give it your finger.
Use your finger. This is not the same spot
where John the Baptist would baptize people
in the New Testament. That spot is about a
3 hours' south drive from here, but the same river. But we are at the very
beginning of the Jordan River. The dam of the Lake of Galilee
is right here, and the water comes out of it
and it flows into the Jordan River. This is the start of it. We are
at the top of the Jordan River. (Rhoda) Yep, we are. - Okay. Let's go swim.
- All right. No. No! Babe, they're gonna eat me! (singing) So, this is the official
baptism site of Israel. You've got a shop,
right above here, where you can buy
the white clothes for the pastor, for the person
who gets baptized. They've got a place here
for the congregation to sit and pray and witness
the baptism. The pastor is gonna go
into the water. The pastor is
my father-in-law, Suhail. This is a wonderful event. And right after this, we're gonna
go up and have a barbecue. So, stay and watch

the baptism of Joy and Sawsan. It was very exciting
and very beautiful. And now we are going to celebrate
