Bald Eagle Blazer Gets a Whole Lot Faster!!

[Music] yeah welcome back to the channel everybody today we're out here at garrett's new shop we're going to get this blazer they bought on race week tuned up they got a nitrous kit on it it's got a mild cam i guess in it but apparently every time they turn the nitrous on it bogs out so we're gonna get that all fixed up all right guys looks like it had a completely stock file in it even though it's got seems to have a mild cam uh james said it was an ls6 cam but she's got a little lope to her so went in and just did basic parameters went ahead and adjusted the power enrichment table on these factory gm ecu's they delay the power enrichment which is like a fuel adder so if i'm commanding 14.7 and i go wide open it'll actually add some fuel to it to keep it you know 125 12a air fuel which is where i want it at so i went ahead and set all that up i'm just working through everything and getting it set up and then we'll uh we'll do some cruising around do some partial throttle fueling all right got our road up did the trans tune got us a little base file in there get that loaded up fire it up go cruising around all right foreign [Music] [Music] this thing sounds just a slight bit tractor-ish needs a bigger camshaft guys i think i think old jack stand put a hurting on this here transmission we had first second neutral and i didn't even floor it yet we're just cruising let's see if it does it again and neutral oh boy [Music] yeah i think she's a little hurt i think we got us just a little first and second gear ripper but she needs a little bit of fuel in the tune up wasn't too bad it's pretty close just cruising around it definitely needs a little bit up high hey guys you know you have two neutrals in that transmission no it's got a power glide in it dude fast and faster yeah yeah no i i just wanted to converse before i did anything that that is how that was beforehand is this guy's fault is his fault he was pouring it i was just pushing the go baby it's got nitrous i know that's oh so it was a team effort okay he sprayed that gear right out of here it was gone third gear said not today it goes first second neutral yeah it starts shuttering soon as we bought it because it already yeah but uh we don't need anything past second perspective so all right so we just need that stumble to go away you got this thing you hit this little button that's just there and again yeah it's bald eagles and then you let go and you hit it and then it takes off we'll fix that we just needed to i just wanted to double check before i went any further with this thing yeah is this guy need a second year to go all the way do you know what valve springs in there yeah the right one the right okay doesn't matter got it cool yep we'll move it eight thousand eight thousand rpms uh they you got nitrous in it all right there should be a little bit left in that bottle but you got more full bottles all right let's go get a full bottle and then we'll hit the button and make it not go got it got it all right guys under further inspection i've noticed that the tps isn't open all the way so we're gonna test it all right that's floored oh yeah she's got a long ways to go yeah it's only showing 85 percent if i push real hard that's 100 there but i'm like cramming it into the floor is it all the way open yeah that's like cramming into the floor real hard i said i'm cramming it into the floor real hard and she's not going all the way that's that's showing a hundred right there that's a hundred so you just gotta you just gotta push on like yeah just real hard we'll be good all right we got us a fresh nitrous bottle in here so we're gonna test her out we gotta we got a fancy butt in here too apparently all ls george installed you guys ready for house normally we do test but not on video i don't want that on my channel all right i take it back you did get there yeah so you just make your relief cut it makes this hard steel thinner bend it to desired uh level of wide open burner back shut what we should test it first maybe no that'll be fine no because if you step on it with the relief it'll just become two pieces especially with that big old foot step pause and let somebody with a lighter foot step on it he's got look at that boots he's got all looking like charlie chapman up in this thing bro he needs some jorts yo can we cut you some jeans and make jorts it'll be george and jorts you gotta watch out for them fresh welds buddy a little toasty but that's okay just like this tune-up's about to be all right so george is gonna remove the headlights so we get some fresh airflow to this air intake because our iets were a little hot she was a little hot you know what cools down on your teeth nitrous problem is it's post iat so i ain't going to see it just turn you tell that computer no no i'm taking the time out i don't know we need this be safe here bud i don't want to melt the motor you want to put that new motor in there i mean i can do you want to not yet okay then i thought it was just zip tied in there oh don't break it he's in love with this thing dude rocky dude just leave her yeah we're doing the show and shine also so oh yeah we got to keep the headlight there we're going to fix your grill yeah get that baby right how does that go you missed the spot quick like you know how to do it i've seen your car all right let's go check airfield wide open then we'll spray this puppy i'm gonna hose her down and get her cooled off cool it off all right we ain't got the ac running ain't gonna do all that you know what size it is no i mean i do but yeah what about you do you know what size is it it's about four and a half seconds faster jet but this way the next option was to just take it out well hopefully i have enough timing pulled we're gonna find out should be fine all right she's ready to go let's go perfect dude you're gonna throw i don't think you've ever tuned anything like this before no make sure you don't grab the bald eagle button grab the nitrous butt what if i grab them both at the same time and i'll probably do a wheelie so i'm good at that yeah yeah that's right so we're gonna just check the ratio timing's already pulled so if the air feels good we can spray it and then we'll see how she goes might as well just spray it first go so it don't get too hot just all right if you've seen that we've been ain't spraying hurt it ain't gonna hurt it i really want to know where it says it's got this stock blazer radiator does this like just get so hot here no that's the that's the horn oh it handles the bumps real well i'm going to uh wide man and nitrous at the same time and shift it yeah don't forget that you're going to spray it through the is the bottle open the bottle is open it's probably got a little bit more pressure in it now too a little warm you want me to leave it on one x right there yes all right as long as you get involved [Music] need that for saturday [Music] she's a sleeper it's her right there or something i don't know it just started like pulling dude so awesome all right we'll pull down here look at the data tomorrow i'll have extra extra pressure in there so maybe it won't have that hiccup so that's right oh this is a big smooth ride it's like a cadillac ride's more like what's let's say a buick a buick a little bit in between a cadillac and a cummins oh man so what you're looking like iets weren't too terrible all right guys we're going to just stop on the blazer so that he can run that this weekend because that transmission is just not going to last much longer and then once there's a new one in it then we'll finish up we'll get that little hiccup out of it which is apparently a lot better i didn't really see what it was before but i guess it's a lot better than it was so we're gonna leave that alone we're gonna play with neighbor a little bit make sure that's good to go did you guys put a different fuel pump in or something uh no we had that buyer in indy oh okay that's right got that all fixed up just need to make sure that now the second pump's working it is being turned on at like five psi boost so we just need to make sure to make sure that's doing that and then just double check because it lost the tune in it and you just sent me the last 10 you had for it so i just want to make sure it's good cool all right so we're going to hop in this thing make sure it's happy and then we got anything else i guess we got to do drew's airboat next basemap base mapping the mustang i got to clean up the airboat that you guys have seen some of you guys have seen on my channel already he's got a little bug so i gotta fix that let's hop in neighbor and make a rip all right guys it doesn't appear to have a second pump working so they're gonna look over a few things see if they can't get her figured out in the meantime i guess i'll work on this little mustang here please don't arrest me man you're a cop you're a cop please i swear i didn't do anything come here all right guys so the airboat was just a wide van he's going to take it run the leaded fuel out of it fix the wide van then bring it back and
