[Music] what's up everybody welcome back to this channel we're back out here bringing to motorsports park we got old jackson's nova out here and we're gonna see if we can make this thing go a little bit faster last time we had it out you guys know it rained on us so we got it back out here a little bit more testing as a private rental so let's see what we'll do same tune up as last time we put a little bit more dome to it early so we're gonna see what it does hopefully it picks up but doesn't pick up the front wheel and rides out down through there you go fast bro go faster than we did the last time let me see i think these shoes dude they're going to make you go faster you just got to flip them down to four wheel drive through my driving shoes i put them in four blog guaranteed like this for a bargain guarantee to hook off any conditions at least a 111 60 foot right here right there this is exact same tune-up that we put in it after the last video yeah so i haven't touched anything it's the exact same way it was just a little bit more early on we got a second pass yeah so that's what we're gonna do he's gonna suit up right now we're gonna get out there track is fresh ready to go so [Music] oh and so not the fastest but that's two passes back to back with no wheelie so that's progress so i'll look over the data and maybe we'll turn it up he did lose the hood he hasn't came back yet so hopefully nothing is wrong with the car and he just doesn't have a hood and we can continue to test and get faster you don't need the hood where we're going yeah dude the hood went higher than the scoreboard it wasn't the fastest ever but that's two passes back-to-back without a wheelie yeah it just tickled the front tire on the ground so we'll just give it a tiny bit more you know how that when we tried the nose springs yeah how it left and it went oh yeah this was like like it never never dipped it was straight that came in so we'll try to give it just a little bit more as long as we can keep it level and keep it down on the ground we'll be yeah i mean it came in style yeah 142 miles an hour yeah almost 140 yeah i guess you can show them because you know you know 143 mile an hour though 142.8 that's that'll be quick once we get that 60 foot to drop back here it should be all that is with the shoots yeah shoot out a thousand foot of 2012 so especially the hood's okay it looked like it landed in the ground no it definitely did not land no it didn't i'm sorry it was higher than scoreboards too it was up there not the first time yeah probably won't be the last either i'll look over the data and see what we can do probably add a little bit more to the dome early and see if we can't pick up a little faster get this thing in 120 60 foots the hood's had better days it's not that's not as bad as i thought it would be it'll buff two passes in a row no wheelies dude yeah it's better we'll just get faster we got really got to do something with this alignment though you're killing me i know i need to redo the lower control arms to get it to where i can tuck the tires straight either they're going to do the lower control arms or redo these top ones yeah i would just move those out what happened was is uh when the front end was done we had the car set what we thought would be level at ride height and we set them perfect and when we added weight it was cambered we adjusted it out ran out of adjustment it was perfect then we added lead and went back to the camper again so move it out a little bit you i would put a little maybe a little bit i think honestly what would help this thing is if we had more travel in the front yeah so you can like extend more in the front go to uh i can always move this up and go to a longer body yeah uh once we got that mustang strut yeah like a longer one so once we got that data we were here to get with the parachute stuff we uh the cars going on jack stands and getting that new grand housing and getting all new uh mensker suspension all around so i'm gonna send them everything off the car and they're gonna tell me whether they can make something work with this we're already going to a longer body shock like we've spoken about we're gonna go to a probably like a seven inch traveler nine as travel shock and then we're going to uh he's gonna see what he can do with these but if he's like hey i can i can put these on your car and it'll pick up significantly i'll change whatever i need to to make them work yeah that man getting that and a roll bar on there i'll hope a little bit more of a helpful part of that like when the car leaves i don't know if you guys can see it but it leaves and it leaves kind of like this so the whole thing is kind of rotating to the right and then also if you really look at the ride height once i squared the back of the car with the leaf spring sliders and lowered it the housing's so twisted it holds one shock different than the other so one shot is preloaded so if you actually look at the car the back of the car sits correctly it doesn't sit level not everything in our favor here but we're making it work yeah we'll definitely make it work better for our favor once we get all those new parts now that it's going down not wheeling that helps us too now we're like okay but all that suspension stuff will just help us be able to throw more power early yeah we'll be able to leave with all of it you know and that's the goal try to leave with it all yep all right guys i'm gonna hook up the laptop check over the data throw a little bit more at it we'll make another hit all right guys so i went in added a little bit more on the leave because it can take just a touch more but i didn't get too crazy with it so we added three pounds for about the first second and then we're gonna continue the exact same ramp that it had in it out a little bit more just picking up the leaves just a little bit and then i gave it a little bit more on the trans brake so we were on three pounds before so i gave it six on the dome for the trans brake and then if it has a hard time getting there we got our boost builder table set up right here so it'll pull the timing down and then i have a three step on it also so it'll actually go above its targeted uh rev limiter for the trans brake by 600 that's what you guys hear so to go up start building a boost and then drop back down to desire leave rpm that's what you guys can kind of hear in the video this time it'll probably be a little bit more pronounced but she's ready to go i'm gonna load this in the car and we'll go make another hit [Music] um oh it back up and just wait all through there that's some good collective data right there i don't know if you heard me but i patted the gas a little bit there on the after the shutdown uh my shoelace was stuck on my tow hook so uh but yeah that was a a solid solid rip it's just going to show that our theory on what we needed to do to fix the wheelie issue is working you know it was a collective collective thing of you know dr tunamo or nate and me just thinking what can we do to try to make this thing right and we tried it and it's working like it's uh it's doing what we're wanting it to do we're thinking it's gonna do something we're making a change in the tune and it's doing exactly that so go around see the slip pull the log and see what it did all right guys i don't know if that was a new personal best but that was that was really good it stayed down it went fast it went into the 120 60 foots 504 144 so we picked up two tenths just right there i don't know how much more i can throw at it it seemed to be right on the edge but that's that's good progress three passes no wheelie just going straight down the track if he would have stayed in it i'm sure that would have been a personal best quarter but he let out winning 820 828 sure this motor you know this is a fresh deal yeah pretty sure this is making more power than that other one on less boost yeah yeah like i'm i'm commanding more on the i'm the same on the dome but it's not making as much either so yeah it was a little bit warmer usually well in texas it was pretty cool at night oh yeah it was here right now it's probably 85 degrees and like 70 percent humidity so so we're not in that's good let's pull are you gonna make another hit tonight or oh maybe all right let's pull the log yeah we'll pull the log and let's pull a couple plugs and see where our timing's at maybe we could put a degree or two in it maybe a little bit more boost but yeah i don't know if it'll take any more on the leave dude that thing was left and it was dangling and tired yeah set it down i want to go set it down i wanted to grab this scramble for the second i was reaching yeah it came in it came in yeah and it picked it back up again if we could just get it we're riding the line with it right now once you get the new rear end in it with the new shocks and everything dude we're gonna be able to like really start applying it to it the other thing too is i don't know if it hit the boost that i was commanding to drop back down so we might have left with another few hundred rpm so i need to check a log and see yeah we'll check and see what it did we're going to end it off there know when i'm 5.0 we got to get out of here and run it late so that's going to be it for this video i
