and uh we're headed up to clay's pit now and we're gonna get ready we qualified last night with a 390. no 396. 396. and uh he was all an ass and i think they got good data yeah i wasn't sure what happened yet why cut off early yeah i got off about 800 yeah some guys were saying the lighting was weird and they thought the end was sooner yeah i heard that a couple times but i think i've done that yeah but we were helping blaine so we didn't get back to talk to clay before he had to take off and get some rest because it was an early morning and that's racing but looking forward to today's looking forward to but i'm looking forward to it i can't even talk to two days i'm looking forward to to today and i fly out later this afternoon go meet up with booster boy kyle in atlanta and uh that should be pretty exciting all right let me go check this thing out you know all right let's go all right so everyone's getting ready for first round qualifying wiping the car down getting it all slicked up and ready to rip and i'm getting excited i'm so pumped to see him go today you know today is if you lose you're out so hopefully we can go some rounds and uh have some fun and bring you okay we only went 309 miles an hour so i mean there was a lot left if the belt would have stayed on that's what i was telling jamie it looked like it was thrown it looked like it was throwing fuel out it would have been quite a bit quicker so you were like come on come on come on that went out at 3.2 seconds it's what that's what it is race cars just when you get aggravated at them yeah i'll give you something they give you something just to bring you back look at that data 3.2 seconds kick the belt it is just awesome we're done so he's gonna cool the blower down and then they're gonna check the game and uh jamie's been out here watching this stuff out wow i still wish she's a worker man all right pistons have been swapped sleeves are swapped fuel's been adjusted they're in the car they're about to start this bad boy up and we're ready to jam let's go what a few minutes to get out of official or it here to call us yep it's at eight minutes we raced down for eliminations two and uh the the buzz is frantic at the moment gotta get everyone's nerves just settled now from the rush to get down here sometimes i can throw you off and uh just get ready all right so we got freaking force in this round and uh we're gonna do our best for sure she's got a really nice rig that's for mike is sure man on a mission we're here i love his burnout [Music] all right here we go [Music] out quicker i don't have a time slot it was two thousand he he wow hey brother that was amazing wow god mike i'm so proud of you buddy don't do our deal after the freaking qualifying crap you are a freaking man mainstay so you said that one broke a main stud so you're just swapping back to this one yep yeah and this one's all ready you just gotta torque it right it's gonna torque the rods torque the rods you put heads on just like a burning service sweet we're a little behind but we'll be all right okay i need to tell jess justin i need deck height so i can't like you know i need deck heights that's the one they put in last night that's adrenaline right there i love that okay come around i got it i got it i got it now remember you got to have your site higher than mine when we get shipped in the shortest guy over here is not going to be doing this much again well no you can put that back on i got the motor plate though so it'll shove the motor plate back and go around that so he's got to remember we got boosted up the motor mounts in the back and you know it moves the plate back just enough if you want maybe grab this other side or you guys can all right let's go make sure to catch nothing in the front get on the front make sure it doesn't operate perfect you guys done that once or twice anytime we can move some air man it's awesome that is all we're doing the flow makes you go what's your hobby i move air loudly loudly and in a hurry and sometimes with smoke in it yeah yeah so this round we just don't want to beat ourselves we'll just need to get a to b and make sure the car just goes down the track really good so mike has been in and out of his head working on the clutch working on the tune up back working on the clutch back working on the tune up and he's just about got things settled right now it's only mike's serious because yeah parking orders of people yeah he's just thinking been pointing and look at that he's over in the clutch himself he's he's going hard so it's cool to watch honestly it's super humbling and brad so they're just about done we're gonna get it on the ground and we'll head up to that round yep almost there [Music] [Music] do [Music] weekend though man clay just treated us to the best hospitality you know we get all there we've got the great content get to see it all get to get up on the line what a feeling jamie got to experience it that close for the first time rattle your brain yeah brain atlanta and start tuning on the mr2 that sounds exciting [Music] everybody slow down all right so now they're going to go through it and they're going to find out what the what the heck just happened no one's really sure and uh not what you want to do on the fire not what you want to do in the semi-finals but things happen it's racing are now leaving and we're headed to the airport and uh man i love this place drag racing here on the mountain is by far the baddest coming to the mountain with clay millikin and the rest of the nhra
