Backpacking In Dolly Sods West Virginia (3 Days, 20 Miles)

[Music] we're here in west virginia yes oh god i didn't sleep did anybody sleep i did [Music] yep it's cold it's windy it's the morning and uh uh what are we looking at frank like 20 miles i want to go yeah i need um [Music] i need a zero day actually that would be nice and i just can't i can't function until all that happens but it's time to wake up yes we're too old for any of this [Music] oh [Music] 20 miles oh it's already gorgeous [Music] [Music] i'm stealing time for my own life [Music] i'm winding down the windows [Music] um [Music] my future is [Music] and i know with a blazing smile [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] is [Music] [Music] with a blazing smile [Music] [Music] my future [Music] [Music] i'm is down [Music] so [Music] i've got a photograph of you kept in a box of memories [Music] hoping you'll tell me what to do give me some guidance [Music] he captured me smiling a fantasy life you say [Music] is [Music] so what do you think frank dolly sods love it uh i want to see a lot of the uh crazy views just open like open like fields like planes like areas they're getting down into that valley was uh it's crazy yeah for sure great campsites a lot plenty of campsites yeah i mean we hear it gets crowded uh in the summer months but there is plenty of them we went through so many different changes of scenery like when we all sudden it's like illness new ham trust with the the rocky trails uh then like the road dendrum forest like there was a lot then you go into like uh spruce sections it's and the uh the gps save this gps saved a couple times we got lost around rocky ridge we wound up off the trail um but had the gps i was able to get back on trail some bushwhacking uh so yeah it's mid-april it's cold uh but it's beautiful oh it's amazing and then yeah prepare for just for everything is just wet all the time everything's wet oh there's no getting around it again have a dedic have a gps i i can't see like paper map doing anything over here yeah oh well heart crushed all these sides crushed oh look at that it didn't hurt i didn't feel like agony i might do it a little bit [Laughter] i think it's time for some food oh my god yeah that's freaking let's get into it yeah it's like another probably half mile this way something like that i could actually [Music] so you
