B1 test UK 2021 topic - My Life - Question & Answers

hey guys welcome back to a brand new video in today's video we're going to talk about the topic my life for the b1 speaking and listening exam if you don't already know about the b1 exam there are two parts firstly there is a topic and then comes the conversation the topic is something that you get to decide and that is the thing that the conversation is all about choosing the right topic is crucial for passing the b1 test that is why in today's video i have brought to you the topic my life this topic is the easiest and the best choice for those people who cannot prepare any other topic and struggle to remember various answers to the questions this topic is about you and your life you know everything about yourself so you can easily answer any question asked about this topic and you won't have any problems remembering them once you select the topic you want to choose then you'll have to first get a topics form which looks something like this you have to write the main topic in the middle of the topic form and then you have to write five sub-topics related to the main topic in the other boxes around the main heading for the topic my life this could be my hobbies my family my work life my husband or wife my children or my pet the examiner will ask you questions related to the topic and their sub topics now that you know how to select the topic and submit it let's talk about the question that could be asked for the topic my life the question may include something like do you live with your family to which you can say yes i live with my family or no i do not live with my family how many members are there in your family you can say there are four members in my family then he might ask you how many brothers and sisters do you have you can say i have two brothers or one sister then he might ask are you married or single to which you can answer if you are married you can say i am married but if you are single you can simply say no i am not married i am single if you did say that you're married then the examiner might ask you was it a love marriage or an arranged marriage to which you can simply answer it was a love marriage or it was an arranged marriage whatever it was in your case next he might ask you do you like your husband or your wife to which you can say yes we both love each other and both understand our needs what type of clothes do you like to wear to which you can simply answer i like to wear simple clothes or if you like fashionable clothes that are poppy you can simply say i like fashion clothes or designer clothes whatever it is in your case what is your favorite food you can say my favorite food is anything you like to eat which could be a burger or taco or anything else you can simply mention next he might ask you do you have a job and if you do have a job you can simply say yes i have a job then he or she might ask you what type of job you have or what is your profession you can mention whatever it is in your case if you're an employee at a franchise like mcdonald's subway or anything else or if you have a much better job at a company you can also mention that it doesn't matter then he might ask you what type of people are there at your workplace you can say as far as the staff goes everyone is very nice and very understanding we help each other and work together but with customers they are all sorts of people some customers are really good and calm they talk very politely and are easy to work with but some are very frustrating and annoying to us but we have to deal with them nonetheless how do you get to the workplace or what type of transport do you use to get to your workplace you can say that you use a bicycle a bus or a train or whatever it is in your case you can simply mention that vehicle and you can say i use this to get to my workplace then he might ask you when do you wake up in the morning you can say i wake up at 7 am then he might ask you when you go to bed at night you can say i go to bed at 10 pm then he might ask you when do you have your breakfast or any other meal you can simply mention i have my breakfast at about 7 30 a.m do you like your job to which you can say yes i love my job the examiner might also ask you some questions about your wife or husband if you are married does your wife or husband do a job if you say yes then he might ask you what type of job does he or she have to which you can reply he owes she works at zara or mcdonald's or is a bank manager or whatever the job is next he might also ask you what type of foods does he or she like or what type of clothes does he or she like you can answer that my husband or my wife loves pizza and he or she likes to wear bright and colorful clothes what sport do you like the most you can say i love football or any other sport do you play that sport regularly so if you do play the sport regularly then you can say yes i play it every weekend or once every week but if you don't play that sport very often you can say i play it every once in a while do you like to watch sports on tv yes i watch every football match on the tv or no i don't really watch any sport on tv what do you watch for entertainment i watch a lot of youtube and netflix for entertainment on a daily basis do other members of your family also watch them yes we usually watch netflix shows together do you have any hobbies yes i love to play the guitar or you can mention any other hobby for example drawing painting singing etc do you have a pet at your house yes i have a pet dog what is his name his name is milo do you have any children yes i have a boy how old is he he is three years old and he loves to play with milo what other activities do you and your family enjoy we really enjoy going to the park for a picnic and traveling the examiner might also ask you some other questions but you should not have any problems answering them as they are all simple questions about your everyday life the questions
