what up guys it's Mikey what's up it's mark Greene you know a lot of you guys have been asking on the comments message you need six years ago they're like oh you got to do a collab with mark so finally it's happening I am a Bangkok Thailand and I'm with Mark and we're going to go on some crazy food adventures in this city I know nothing about the food here I mean I love Thai food oh you are like the expert you are like the Thai food cool so I'm gonna rely on you to kind of show me what's good in the city alright this video it's going to be really special because I love you know if you love me at all I love to ice cream on spy a lot of spicy food um we're we're like like soul mates right here but today we are going to go on a noodle tour adventure around Bangkok and you're going to show me some of the best noodle dishes in the city and I can't wait you know I don't know if you guys can see that dirt but there's like a rich culture and rule of bones and meat tell me about this boy where we came here this is a giant fan of eternal freezing be specifically that helps fix a profit and that's good you're like the fat and oil just fumbling in there that's what you eat here I think we're off to a good start let's get started guys hi Margie took me to this place first of all was it called place it's called what kind of penny what's enough I'm really bad with languages I'm don't know I need the omelet here and then I think I think I just kind of combined it I feel like then they kind of walk together instead into a perfect dish for me man again don't judge a book by it's cover I thought I knew how you know that just looking at this today I didn't think I like lemon sole right so yeah all right I'm - location number three guys we're a location number three and we're not on a boat but we are eating bolt mutants and they're made with pig's blood yep though you can even see them a Jamaican they have a pocket a problem and it literally anyone and no they do is they scoop some of it out to him yeah Boone and then they stick it into the hot boiling broth so that immediately cook will be a little turtle thing so it is cooked yeah it is cooked but then that curls it and that's what gives the the brachot thickness its richness yeah and that just just multiplies the flavor and so then after that they pour it into the soup and that's the basis of what this boat noodle is all about again we got a smaller bowl but then they managed to shrink the portion of the noodles even more to where I'm getting half a bowl of noodles am i both small yep and so the reason for that is because traditionally these books complete noodle were served from a boat we're rocking in the water and so in order to not lose the new fellow as you're rocking in the book they would only have fill the bowls and so that's a tradition that's just stuck and it's just now kind of fun to eat a lot of bowls and stack them on top of each other well I'm really excited to get started because this does look like a one fighter so I can see why you order like eight bowls of noodles for us here Cheers Wow oh god I'll miss this kind of scares me because I had this in New York where the soup it was more suited than like okay awesome you know this to me is more like saucy noodles yeah and they're eating double soup and it has a little bit of a metallic taste what we take to it I wasn't really a fan of that but this I can't really tell you what it good yep it doesn't have a gamy face cooler no no not at all and I got it I got a big piece of liver in that bag and if you can see the liver yeah the liver is half rise well let's do that yeah and it's awesome and there's already surprising here but I do feel like this with with a bit more vinegar oh yeah but then another thing that complements that I feel compliment the voting it'll sell well it's sweet basil yeah can either just chase it or you can top some leaves in there and that goes so well together with the bra oh you know what this for first time I've seen like chili it's like hot oil almost yep these are deep-fried they're dried chillies which are then deep-fried and then they crush them yeah that's like my when I coach my hot oil fry it really quick flash fry it it brings all that great aroma we're right above that basil I also really like it with that chili that's good choice it's fragrant in taste though it's like a burn roasted chili flavor all right next well I think what's really cool is that the racial you know Stu the broad there's a lot of brought lineup evening look how seasoned these noodles are so you're not getting a bite where you're like okay so you know the kind of Flint what does look at the amount of flavor that gets like yeah within those noodles exactly whoa we're going yes sir this is what at you you crunch it up in real our noodles and that gives it the extra crunchy dimension I'm going to try what it uses as this for now oh you just take a piece of the fork right huh and then just stick it on your noodles just brush it up and that is what takes your bow noodles to the final level of excellence this is high eating at its best yeah Oh like a deep-fried fun I was very calling a whole number of poor mark I'm telling you right now it's a great feeling to be sitting here sweating because you didn't spy just sitting here like 100 degree heat and just chomping on these noodles and just hanging out with someone who yeah who loves to eat and love spicy as much as I do you guys never done this before where you're just like I'm going to go out today and eat a bunch of noodles or a bunch of whatever food you want to name it says Simmons thought how it's fun to to do it food a lot of things you can do that's just as good as the first bowl all right all right whoo that was fantastic that changed my whole perspective on bowl noodles actually cool so I mean this is this is my new standard of folding noodles I will tell you that this is a very good bowl of both noodles for Bangkok as well [Music] this is worth we're getting big noodle Danny Weigel you guys we're on our next location and this is just something familiar this weekís are ignorant that reminds me of Tiffany yep is even even actually the name of the record it has a long zoom within the name yeah invincible this is a very popular time very popular high tide three food dish especially and I can tell you right now the difference is so it still a Hong Kong what I usually have this it's usually inside a full a long time util to so here it does have to walk down element in the middle element but that's what a similarity int because then I see role support here and some fish cake and then crackling pork skin it's very Chinese but at the same time it has I agree and it will rarely do teeth in get to actually you can hear the on orbit hang or with the suit inside and hang is the dry version yep which I really like the dry version because you can kind of mix and match if you like and your noodles don't get soggy I agree with you yeah I mean usually you don't get a rib that good on the bone and yeah let's just take those noodles well they're like hot and fresh right now oh I love it beautiful crispy pork skin with mine and everybody is such a contrast in texture the noodles are so light and fluffy they're so so been that when you chew in them is like is like there's a mini tripling in my mouth home your team Japan about popping other now I don't know about you but whenever I see up meat on a bump my my title is thing is just kind of do not talk oh you don't get a release of Billy River in the first bite but I make sure you're like wow the depth of the flavor it's given inside that's been boiled for a very long time you know that feel like I'm afraid the same and it's can W denim again the noodles are so good on their own but they would definitely be better with the food I can vinegar here do you want to get a kiss please thank you and I'm going to go ahead and add this in my cut as well oh yeah what I like to do all filled yeah just go in with like one scoop of - yup just kind of rehydrate some of the noodle cattle then I'm going to do a little lighter but what I love is that noodles they just remain individual they all have their own personality every noodle and cascading device Fraser don't underestimate the power of the bowl of fried a we had a bunch of noodles today what was your favorite thing time even remember what we ate I like the beef noodle broth and the beef noodle chunks that's what I like the egg noodles I think for me I loved the first pledge allegiance I love not the gooeyness but the other two I feel like that that was the highlight of my of my noodle in various names I think that the chef's were able to take some of the common ingredient and make something that sort of looks like it's going to blow you away but it's really really transformed what you when you think of noodles after that I do feel like I was able to after today get a bit of Wrath of the noodle soup in Bangkok there's still so many other noodle dishes there's at least 2030 noodle dish yeah 20 guys man so many different ones definitely
