ASV with Fecon Blackhawk and new Bullhog with door

hey buddy it's john with upstate brush control we are up here in spartanburg south carolina doing a little work along the edge of this field so what do we got here today is uh so it's just a little old little feel we got some old farmhouses barns and stuff like that and uh we're going to push this back off to the edge of the property line customer bought this a while back and uh i guess he hadn't had it too long and he really wants to be able to see everything he's got um he's not turning it back into pasture it's probably just something that he's going to maintain with his bush hog down the road um so we got a lot of just small sweet gums i think there's some privet in there just real trashy stuff um we got a couple larger trees in there we're gonna say large trees over here and then we have all this that's gonna come out there's the property line right back there and it kind of goes up at an angle like this so you know all that's gonna come out um you know all that will but i was uh i was walking over here where's he at oh there he is the customer came through yesterday and bush hogged but that is a copperhead it's obviously dead i don't like snakes but uh i didn't kill it customer with the bush hog dig he came through and cut this grass which is actually actually really nice because when i came out and looked at this it was like super tall but um it eventually goes all the way up back over to here the farther we go that way it's kind of like a pie you know so it gets narrower at that end so while it's still cool and cooler um we're gonna start in this section starting right there at the road pushing up to right here we're gonna get that completely done and then jump on to the next one um not sure trying to remember how big the area actually is maybe somewhere in the acre acre and a half something like that it'll probably take us a day and a half or so um depends on how it's going but so we got the uh ruby red over here we got uh e45 what's that though oh a new one 20. there's micah how's it going micah yeah anything new um no any poison ivy anything like that not recently so we got the blackhawk willy likes running it so willie's gonna run the blackhawk and uh oh hey hey willie men's is on the left women's is on the right yeah so we got the old 120 here and um with our new fecon uh with the trapdoor dcr i'm excited about this thing we uh especially like working along this road and stuff it's gonna we'll see how she does but josh is up getting the uh some tires put on the truck so we hooked up the old gooseneck uh to the um dewey here but willie's going to start right here on this edge he's going to get it get at it right away josh should be here in a little bit probably two hours or so go chop drop truck off get oil change and stuff like that then all four of us will be here so we should get a lot done today [Music] i'm pretty sure i know what he's doing he's going in there kind of clear out a little spot and get off the edge of the grass that's what i would do he's going to get in there a little bit and then work his way up and then work his way back towards the road and stuff um thing about these old fields and places like this you know we got little old farm houses and stuff got to be careful on the edge of these fields i can't tell you how many old uh plows and all kinds of stuff old plows and um hunks of metal and piles of wire and everything that they always throw right on the edge of the field you got to be careful especially working on a place like this was a lot of looks like it hadn't been cleaned up in quite a while so he just did a fresh sharpen on that uh last week we haven't used it since but it cuts [Music] great [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] tree jammed up there one thing i do not like about the black [Applause] the other hand won't do that at all well not to that extent all right let's go all right so uh mike is on the pole saw i'm gonna give you an idea trying to get a little dusty out here just with this opening see stuff like that right there so all right so uh we got all that done over there all that's finished off so right here got just a little bit more right up here along this edge and then the guys have uh have gone through and uh already limbed that up right there they got a few more to get josh is doing a little bit right there but he just wanted to get it off the ground you know driving his tractor up through there or anything anything potentially hanging low but i think we should be done after that i think this neighbor came out and talked to me about running over a little area for him but we'll see we shall see so we'll get this little corner cleaned up here [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] all right we're loading up got the trucks moved out here to the road mike is touching up with the uh blade any uh big stuff around the trees get blade on the trimmer but um yeah it turned out really nice we got everything blown off over here oh turned out really good really happy with my machines very blessed to have both of these and uh just being able to work with fecon the reason why that cutter head is yellow uh if you haven't seen any of the other videos um fikon is now offering a line through vermeer so you will be able to buy that cutter head through do a vermeer dealer coming soon i'm not sure when exactly they're going to start having those in stock but it is going to be something that vermeer is going to start carrying and it will be paired on an asv rt-120 that they're gonna do some slight modifications on so we're really excited about that um so you guys could go in contractor whoever could go in uh buy one unit with with cutter head you don't have to buy a cutter head and then buy a machine you know maybe it's i don't know but i'm just guessing it'll be under one uh one loan so instead of having two loans you know one for your cutter head and one for your machine i i don't know i'm just speculating but i imagine it would be one but uh yeah we're excited about it love that trap door thanks again fecon and thank you everybody for watching the
