Assassin's Creed Mirage

Assassin's Creed Mirage is the new $50 game from the Ubisoft company PS5 games are usually 70 now so what's the deal well I guess this game is much shorter than the previous titles AC Origins was 30 to 50 hours Odyssey was 50 to 80 and Valhalla was in 60 to 90 oh my God for this one they're saying 12 to 16 hours which for me that's good because I just want to play the fun parts of the game and Skip all the dumb for fans of the last three games they're be going damn why is this so short because Ubisoft is firing everybody you're okay now my favorite part of these games is always the setting I love the idea of going back in time and exploring an ancient city and I feel like that is what most big studios are best at today creating huge detailed environments we walk a narrow path enough take care of what what you say when we next meet Governor I will not suffer such insult twice that's what govern in most games you pick up notes filling you in on the lore of some madeup Video Game World what's cool about AC marage is how it actually teaches you about the history of real life Baghdad it's very refreshing to learn something of value in a goober open world game it's also refreshing how this game doesn't have a ton of d dialog trees which is probably why it's so short video games holy you need to stop talking at me you don't have anything to say so why are you always talking at me pay me no mind the storyline for this game is that you are working for the League of Shadows and you have to hunt down razal ghoul I haven't got to that part of the game yet but I'm assuming the League of Shadows is actually the bad guys because everybody keeps telling your character how conflicted he is to be working for them even though he isn't why the struggle within you what do you mean there is no struggle the protagonist is just you know a decent guy runs around killing everybody with a knife and he tells a little kid to jump off of a ledge you see I am unharmed now you go I cannot yes you can in terms of game play you know what I'm saying I'm sure there are upsides to the new engine from AC Origins I just don't know what they are the Parkour in this game is jerky and confusing this dude will not do what I tell him to do and he gets stuck on everything let's get out of here that nope go out the window why did you do this the melee combat is also a big step back from the older titles when you hit a guy with a sword he doesn't even react to being hit it's like your sword is made out of plastic it reminds me of the combat from Shinu 3 [Music] mostly what I like to do in this game is sneak around and throw knives at everybody's head we catch hold on no we what the hold it there hey gunning won't save you you there me hey what who someone's up to something it's very hard to recomend this game when there is so many right around the corner but I'll say this if you are an open world addict and you're thinking of picking up four spoken on eBay save your $20 and pick this up next year at the same price because it is really funny when the guards stop what they are doing so you can assassinate them good to meet you assassin I'm just working on this net all day oh hello ah my old friend thank you for this is a good friendship this dude is doing bow training what what is he going to do when I kill him he's oh [Music] [Music] he

Is it just me or was dunkey not as negative in this one? Like I get the feeling he may have actually liked it. The short length of the game also has me kinda interested. AAA games nowadays have become way too bloated so shorter games are kind of refreshing

Still not gonna buy it, but I'm hoping ubisoft might go this shorter approach when they aren't in financial distress. Imagine what this game would be like at this length if they hadn't fired everyone?
