Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry but when I die the video ends...

Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry you know we did Black Flag a few weeks ago we made it really far in that video that's the farthest we've made it so far and I was gonna go right to AC3 but I thought hey why not do Freedom Cry uh it's been a while since I've played Freedom Cry and um I thought it would be interesting because Freedom Cry is a DLC so it's only about four hours I looked it up right before here so in four hours I am I'm aiming to finish this entire thing without dying it might be hard it might not be I'm not really sure Black Flag was pretty easy I think man we made it at least like five hours on the Black Flag maybe more than that I mean the video is like two hours but that's edited um but yeah I think we can do this I'm going to try my best that is what I'm aiming for try and finish this entire thing without dying you guys are gonna be with me on this journey as uh we try to complete Freedom Cry it's gonna be a nightmare for me in editing if it really is that and of being that long but it'll be worth it um what should we name it there we go I'm not sure if I want to play keyboard and mouse or controller typically for the older AC games especially the controller usually feels a bit better but we'll see we'll figure it out as we go oh this is already pretty 1735. there he is okay oh we're starting we're starting off strong here all right we got sink a Templar Fleet everything is permitted after all captain I and often it is necessary everything is permitted so pretty uh Naval Combat for my adventures in Black Flag so I should be fine here although this is actually known quite a bit dude how embarrassing would it be after my whole speech about trying to finish the game if I just died on the first mission that'd be so embarrassing okay that cannot happen mortars are so overpowered I have 18 of them oh my God I'm not worried oh they got mortars too they're gonna try and RAM us oh we got heavy shot already too okay I like that a lot oh and there's four fire barrels instead of the two we got like a fully upgraded ship to start I like that a lot instead of starting over uh with uh like the beginning of Black Flag we actually got a upgraded shift here I like that a lot board or sink what does it do us any good I'm just gonna sink up I don't think it does this any good here all right well we didn't die in the first mission Good Start Good Start man look at that sunset sunrise is that Sunrise I don't know but it looks great oh we gotta go diving maybe I should have boarded then hey search the chest for the package okay so we got a chest over here it's not in there oh what there's sharks oh no oh no no no no no no no oh leave me alone I swear no no no no no no no no no no no no no no it's about to spot me if this video ends to a shark oh this thing can you actually do that that doesn't seem realistic to me but maybe I'm just stupid how can you put an air barrel I mean any of you uh scuba divers know the the answer to that okay it has to be in here right and luckily the shark only attacked us once dude leave me alone are there two of my oh there's two of them oh that's just wonderful turn to your what business do Templars have there captain if we let this land in Temple our hands I captain listen to your captain captain there's no rescue yourselves I must stay with the ship no I will stay with you what a loyal crew oh yep that was all insane though I wonder if uh when they were making black oh my God all right I can't talk right now I'm sorry I got focused oh this music is awesome it's like Jaws like Lose Yourself I love the music Big horror vibes I love this this I said it in the Black Flag video but um I really miss having like these storms am I getting pulled in oh God yeah this would actually be one of my worst fears in real life oh my god oh look at that wave I did not see that oh my God wave just jump scared me if it wasn't for the mini map I wouldn't have known it was there manade is the crew dead what happened to the crew oh my hey yo he's gonna wash up a Shore and be fine right what an opening though yup that always happens in every media whenever a character like crashes at Sea they always just wash up on the shore like surely that's not realistic I mean I'm sure it can happen but like this game has very distinct music to fit uh the vibe I like it portal Prince title card that's got to be a record that was a quick title card geez what a slaps oh machete let's cut them up oh my God horrifying scream get him as a boy I fled the same thing I love the machete I think ottawale has one of the coolest assassin kids and weapons what what what's up oh okay that's what's up come on I'm gonna beat this entire thing without dying you're definitely not gonna take me down yeah I love the machete he also gets the Blunderbuss which we don't have yet but Auto walleye definitely has a uh brutal fighting style and his weapons match that very well let's Rope Dart them they didn't see that okay we got our hidden blades all right but as I was saying earlier I wonder if um when they decided they wanted to do a DLC for ottawale was it before the game came out or was the reception to the character really good and that's when they were like hey we should make a DLC of this guy because something very similar is happening with a mirage obviously except that's a full game and not a DLC but basm was such a well-received character on valhalla's launch that there was an idea to give a DLC for him and then that obviously turned into a full game later but very interesting to think about how that works unless they just knew ottawale was going to be a fan favorite character and they worked on it beforehand anyways I need to locate a gentleman tailing all right first sailing Mission shouldn't be too many in this game it's only it's only four hours um let's try and stick to the rooftops here the way that works is weird you just have to keep them in your sight line or else the timer will go down it's not so much how far away they are as long as you can see them you have them highlights You Gotta look away and the timer starts I look at them it stops it's interesting that that's how they choose to do it because normally you would think it would be based on distance not if you can actually see the Target but I guess it makes sense what do you guys think do you think they're gonna bring back tailing missions it's very possible it could happen in Mirage I like I said I say it all the time I actually don't mind the tailing missions as long as they're not too frequent too long and they're kept engaging you know like this one was very simple so this doesn't bother me at all a black flag has tons of tailing missions and some of them aren't always the most fun all right oh yeah I remember this place can't move oh my gosh no oh my run Ave right to discipline I should just assassinate them while I'm here Madam Joseph expecting a package a Templar package dead and do you mean for me to meet the same thing look around one threat and these men will you think those guys are gonna kill Auto walleye yeah right but before you judge remember the templar's coin like any will buy the freedom of men like you I know this map you have the brand of a sleigh the eloquence of Escola has of a sailor and an Assassin's Hood few weapons but prove that what you promise is true and perhaps something can be arranged repeat this password [Music] I love that they start you with all the Assassin tools right off the bat instead of making you like start over again you get the rope darts smoke bombs sleep berserk darts all right off the bat that's so nice we got an escape I got you Rope Dart him except these guys bother me all right let's uh ow I can't move I love the animations for the machete too they're so brutal I love that they gave him new animations it just makes it feel fresh oh my gosh oh my it's a little Overkill oh honestly these guys oh jeez that's some Connor Kenway level stuff right there dude can you imagine Connor and ottawale oh it's too bad Shea killed them I make my own Conor and ottawale together would have been so cool especially since Ottawa and achilles double assassinate these two the guy over here though I have to say I don't really like how they used the mini map so much in these older games it's kind of a crutch because I can just see where everybody is it's it's a little bit too strong I mean you can just turn it off but then you can't really see where you're going for your objective but it's going to make it easier for me to complete this without dying so in this circumstance it works out four more what okay that's fine there's only two left there we go all right do not didn't Escape um where'd those guys even come from I got it only assassin to have the sleeveless going on unless you include like uh Conor's native outfit that's also a cool one but it's not really an Assassin outfit auction the bracelet if I just kill this guy we're good right dude those animations are brutal can you imagine if these old games had dismemberment like the like Valhalla oh my gosh like you just see like heads flying all right when we need two more right here I got spotted from behind the all right well we got 20. this Brigantine could meet you needs if you could relieve it though it's cool Bastian has volunteered her woman to draw the men away or you could set this Tower light to distract oh it's giving me options excellent options all of them okay cool what's this firecrackers now it is something new to Freedom Cry the firecrackers those were not in Black Flag and I don't think they're in any other I mean well I think other games use the firecrackers to yeah broke has some doesn't it doesn't it like the firecracker darts I love the atmosphere right now though during the storm it looks so cool no lightning yeah I got the volumetric fog on as well so it looks really nice if they ever remastered Black Flag they should definitely include Freedom Cry in that package like how they did um with Liberation in the AC3 remastered I still can't believe they haven't remastered Black Flag that's so strange to me I don't even need to assassinate these guys I just got creative distraction why take the risk we gotta we gotta we're gonna beat this without dying it's gonna happen This is Our Moment place of Powder Keg under the tower and ignite it did not want to fall down but it's okay I did not see this guy I'm not doing very well in the stealth Department right now we got to clean that up let me get this guy oh that was close oh yeah this music is great Assassin's Creed always delivers with the music why why why does it do why does it make you hop out of the haystack what I just accidentally took his out of Wally doesn't want to listen to me it looks like wait oh no he woke up that's not good can I uh on a Wally's being stubborn okay we need a hundred and fifty normally I'm not a huge fan of locking progression behind things but I mean it's a DLC man of war level 36. okay we do not want to mess with this man of war that is horrifying that'll likely end this video very quickly I don't remember if there's tons of Naval Combat sections in this game I am I gonna have to upgrade my ship just sailing the Seas like this is this could literally be its own form of therapy I feel like it's just so peaceful so freeing look at this all right well let's go to war oh there's three ships it's an entire Convoy okay let's murder them from afar that's probably our best bet any more we got 16 mortars though but now's not the time to talk about the jackdaw oh we're not supposed to attack I can't even hear him because we're battling why did you just put that dialogue there [Music] Ram then man I missed what he said about the jackdawg he said the jackdaw was a he thought he might be around here I couldn't I wasn't paying attention because we were in the middle of a battle wait someone someone in my comments of the Black Flag video gave a really good tip to easily kill everyone on board oh you wasn't it like you mark him with Eagle Vision and then you can just yeah yeah that was it that way you can easily see everyone you turn on your Eagle Vision and just use a swivel that was a really good tip on like yeah that's so smart I got to do that next time I play thank you to whoever suggested that I don't remember who I might be able to fight come on let me get on it's pretty much one of us that's so fun I took out like nine people with that we have 72 heavy shots that's an insane amount every shot [Music] I'm really excited to do this video for AC3 as well it's been a long time since I've pre-played AC3 like from the start and I I love that game so much so I'm very excited for that this is very similar to Black Flag so I'm definitely still uh I'm not very Rusty when it comes to this kind of game oh okay I got way too much air there I I can't see blunderbuss I couldn't reload and just shoot that Barrel there we go overboard all right let's just reset our wanted level I'm telling you I don't know what it is this is just so therapeutic I'd really like to play with a no HUD here but um just to make it more immersive but I kind of need it to see where I'm going so oh that's that man of war again that looks really weird in the distance you can like you can see that the waves aren't moving in the distance you see that it looks like the boat is almost gliding let me know in the comments which um DLC you guys prefer do you prefer Liberation or Freedom Cry I actually made a video a while back where I did like a witch game is better between those two and in that video I said Liberation mainly because I felt Liberation had more new content it was also like it's also a lot longer than Freedom Cry it's like twice the length Freedom Cry is four hours I think Liberation is around eight but at the same time I also like ottawale more as a character than Evelyn and I think I like the story more freedom cry I don't know so I I might prefer freedom cry but I do like that Liberation had more new content it added more I felt like the personas were really cool I mean if you love black flag and you haven't played Freedom Cry you gotta what are you doing I feel like a lot of people forgot about Freedom Cry stay hidden to avoid casualties okay this is a plantation got it this this guy has some great awareness as you can see look at this man's awareness but that guy sees me yeah that makes sense I'm over here see the HUD in this game is very intrusive it's like taking a pat ball entire left side of the screen you see that is he is he not gonna come over here you just gonna stand there what are you doing really suits acting like he sees dead bodies every day yeah okay nobody has awareness keep forgetting I have the firecrackers I'm not used to using them I'm used to Black Flag so it's a bad nah come on I was I was in the grass before when he spotted me are they helping me fight oh okay oh they're killing them no no oh they rang the alarm bell all right I'm sorry guys I'm not being very stealthy in this video what are you doing oh no this just gonna try and speed run it as best we can foreign I really like the color palette of black flag and Freedom Cry very vibrant okay I'm just gonna oh that's so fun he just spotted me through the should have kept me informed does Ottawa have any alternate outfits I don't think he does either way though we should uh restock our ammo and stuff we're uh pretty much out of everything by the way I just wanted to take a second to thank you guys that um when I did this for Black Flag it's gotten the most views out of all these kinds of videos I've done so far so I really appreciate that thank you and for all your nice comments that was uh you guys were making me feel good about myself all right um where do I restock ammo um ammunition I wish it was just like a refill all like for you they have that in unity just a bit annoying having to go through everything to refill I haven't used the firecrackers much oh there's only two oh right you can't even buy it wait so what's money for just refilling ammo and stuff because you can't actually buy pouches or new Weaponry it's all from recruiting Maroons so I guess the money is just to refill your supplies interesting Quest complete at least three of five investigations that's kind of cool at least it's giving you like the freedom to do which investigations you want that pouch must be important went into the water [Music] do you actually get anything for doing all five or is it just full sync will that work that's all that good work but he's just gonna spot what was that noise he made huh I didn't think they were all gonna investigate I didn't think they were all gonna investigate okay that's my fault what but what is happening they just undetected me for a second that was weird foreign [Music] oh great all right so much for being stealthy I'm not doing such a great job of that in this playthrough he's running for his life right into my machete you know what's funny that I never really realized before Shay is the only character in the series where you can kill civilians without being desynchronized which is weird because Shea's whole thing is he wants to save innocent people yet killing civilians as shade doesn't desynchronize like it's trying to say no he did kill civilians so I'm like that was odd to me like I get it like because he's the Templar like oh it's cool that you don't get these synchronized by killing civilians and innocent people but that doesn't fit Shay's character at all which is an interesting contradiction but whatever it's a interesting detail I didn't notice about Rogue excuse me sir okay he's just gonna run away that was quick not much of a track and field Runner are you has a special fever thank you good night good night it's it's the middle of the day are they we're just gonna let him go see nah Altair wouldn't let that happen Altair would kill him because that guy can now warn the scientists that we interrogated him just not a very smart move we should have killed him sorry to be so blunt these scientists aim to record navigational secrets for our beloved Kings to use at War but we can seize them through extraordinary Advantage for my brotherhood and the maroon we need only Supply literate recruits and the rest will take care of itself that is all nothing more on the governor that is all that is everything how many more could be freed with this knowledge in our hands all things require balance no any day now the Maroons will rise up then I will leave not before I've decided you are as arrogant as the French hmm but yeah all nice guy liberate Wellington Plantation in the Caribbean Sea okay yeah so it locks a lot of missions behind um certain activities but oh my that did a lot of damage let's just get out of here let's kind of strange love that animation again just imagine if there was this member in these games that would be so brutal oh Ottawa is just completely glitching out I think I hit a few of my own crew but it's okay uh their sacrifice oh look they lived I just got shot by my own crew member did you see that wow all right that's 20. wow I actually can't believe we managed to pull this off I thought we I thought this video was done for sure that would have been a really disappointing way to go out but I just saw level 60. I didn't realize we were actually like capable of fighting that high of a level but I guess our ship is already like upgraded so I am happy to be back on the ground let's do this kill the overseers 20. all right I really like that you can um hold the melee button to have your hidden blades out so it'll just automatically assassinate when they come into range I really like that just gives you some more control massive Plantation um I'm gonna have them fight each other and that's a good Strat what oh okay that grunt just took out one of the bigger guys that was like David and Goliath right there you know and you may ask what is his prize Well it's death shout out to all those who know who random guard number 23 is may he rest in peace oh you just punched him let's go my minion my need to do this for the other games okay it was it was pretty short around four hours total but God still feels like an accomplishment thank you guys for uh thank you for being on this journey yeah this was a lot of fun I forgot how good Freedom Cry was it's definitely not talked about a lot but I really enjoyed the DLC ottawale is a great character yeah I mean it's exactly like Black Flag but it's a DLC and again black flag's gameplay is still really fun so it is a bit easy but still fun but yeah we did it I have no idea how long this video is going to be obviously it's edited so it won't be like the full four hours but we aimed to beat it without dying and we did just that we can't really I can't just end this vid this is called freedom cry but when I die the video ends so I can't just end it like that otherwise the video the video will just go on forever because I haven't died yet right so we're gonna have to let this video end but um I'll be doing this for Assassin's Creed 3
