by yourself And every night I look forward
to sleeping on this mattress with my cats we fall asleep so easily and

- Thank you So happy to have you here So happy to be here I want to start this off by
offering you some cedar to cleanse your aura And just set the intention for healing
and relaxation today - Is that ok?
- Yeah, thank you Alright So, lower this a little bit I'm just gently tapping this cedar
on your skin Allowing the cedar to take away
any pain, suffering, any grief that might be residing in you right now So that you can fully enjoy
this experience Cedar is just such potent
Mother Nature energy It can take away anything
that doesn't serve you in the moment And not only are the leaves powerful,
you can also spend time with mother cedar and have her listen to your worries,
your tears, anything at all and she will hold space and take it in It's very powerful, very nurturing So I offer this medicine to you so that you may feel held and safe
and loved Just keep your eyes closed Gently going to tap your skin
on the face Also going to light a little
bit of cedar May the cedar bless you May it ground you and return you
to your body Cast away any anxieties May it allow you to be present You've got a bunch of little
cedar leaves all over you Beautiful Next I'm going to use this
turkey feather to do some more sweeping And I'll start with one, then
I'll move to 2 at the same time Beth, can I have access
to your arms as well? Can you take them out? Perfect. There we go Let me just trace down the arms Sweep away The turkey... for me, the significance
of this wild turkey is freedom and specifically, freedom from shame We can sweep all that away
for you as well It can take you in its wings
and just allow you to be free unbound We can be gentle and light with it Using slow movements light touch of feather,
stroking your face Such a wonderful feeling Just tracing your eyebrows now They're beautiful I wanna then move on to your scalp Let me work on massaging your scalp Just start with playing with your hair You can just relax and let me
handle your head There you go, perfect And just scratching the back,
the occipital region and that feels really nice really tingly Your hair is so beautiful
and such a joy to work with Going to comb out your hair with this wooden comb Working out a few tangles here Perfect Beth requested a scalp check so,
going to pay extra attention to her scalp We'll start on this side here,
right next to her left ear Take a closer look So far, I don't see any signs
of redness or any dermatitis All looks flesh coloured
and balanced moisture That's good Just going to part her hair
on the back here to use this clip to clip your hair to the side Okay so, now I'm taking a look
at the occipital region more closely Noticing a little bit more
oil production back here which is normal Not concerning by any means Again, I don't see any erythema,
any eczema, seborrheic dermatitis any nevi or any little (inaudible) Looks really good You're doing a great job I'm going to turn your head Perfect Now going to look at the
anterior hairline just here in the midline.
Let's part it. Perfect Let's turn your head again The right temple also looks
really nice Again, even moisture I don't see any dry patches Hair looks even and full Amazing Your scalp looks really healthy Just using a drop of peppermint
essential oil Trying to get a little drop out There we go Just gonna turn your
head this way, perfect All this cedar Take these off of you There we go Warm up your arms a little bit Gently massaging the neck Especially the sternocleidomastoid It's often very tight This side Applying some massage to yin tang Deeply calming point Then massaging around the orbit This will help to reduce eye strain,
tired eyes Applying gentle pressure with my thumbs Just going around in circles Perfect. You're doing great. Is there anywhere else you'd
like some more attention before I turn you on your back? No, that was lovely Okay, so I'll go ahead and
turn you over when you're ready So now, we're moving onto
the back massage and tracing So I'm going to go ahead
and uncover your back Perfect A little bit more of this olive oil Just gonna move this strap a little bit Your muscles already seem nice and
relaxed and warm, which is great Found a cedar there Applying a little bit more
deeper pressure here with the trapezius muscles Kneading a little bit So, noticed a knot here, so I'm
going to apply some pressure here ok? I want you to take a deep breath in and out Perfect Good And while we're here, I want to locate
a few acupressure points We have my book here Perfect So the first point is urinary bladder 12,
feng meng And we'll find this at the level
of the 2nd thoracic spinous process so let's go ahead and locate C7
just right there T1, T2, perfect And it is 1 and a half cun lateral
to the posterior midline, so... It's going to be between there right in the middle There we go. Same thing
on the other side. There we go So I'm just going to apply pressure
here again Take a deep breath in and out, good This is a great point for
benefiting the lungs It descends and disperses lung qi Expels wind from this area which in the traditional Chinese medicine
perspective, can cause colds and flus So we really wanna protect this area
from any wind invasion and support the lung and its
ability to fend off pathogens regulate the immune system It's a really good point there And I want to find the point
right below it which is urinary bladder 13,
fei shu So that one's the level of T3 So we have C7 here. T1, T2,
T3, the lower border and halfway between the mid....
the medial side of the scapula and the spine So right about there So take a deep breath in and out Good Apply pressure here It's the back shu point of the lung Really helps to tonify lung qi It can also relieve coughing and again,
just like I said with the previous point it's extremely beneficial for
the lungs and fending off pathogens,
especially wind Okay, good Such important points during
the change of seasons So weather gets colder and
there's more winds How's your head and neck feeling?
Do you want to turn to the other side? Sure Just to balance it out a bit Next I want to apply pressure
to gallbladder 20, feng chi You can find this one in the
depression between the upper portions on the sternocleidomastoid
and the trapezius muscle level with GV16, based on the skull So, again follow the sternocleidomastoid
where it intersects with trapezius at the base of the skull So we calm this point first Take a deep breath in and out Great This point also expels wind,
benefits the eyes, the ears clears heat, relieves pain And we'll work on the other side as well Just have you turn your head again, good Again, the sternocleidomastoid,
trapezius, and between the base of the skull right there Deep breath in and out Wonderful You're doing great And one more point, before
we move on to the rest of the back Let me just cover it up
so you don't get cold This point is called an mian,
quiet sleep This is great for people who
experience insomnia So it's good for you Beth So we will find this point
halfway between gallbladder 20 which we just found and
triple warmer 17 which is right below the earlobe here So if you go halfway, you'll find it Right under the depression here Take a deep breath in and out Good So apply pressure right there,
using my thumb - Is that ok?
- Mhmhm This point is really good for insomnia,
like I said and an overactive mind, especially at night For anxiety, headaches, palpitations So it really helps to nourish the heart and soothe the liver And in traditional Chinese medicine,
the heart is responsible for the emotion of anxiety and
the liver for anger So it can really help to
regulate these emotions One more on the other side,
thank you We'll do the same point here again Gallbladder 20, triple warmer 27 Right in the middle. Deep breath in. And out Perfect Good Alright. So this is the last part
of the massage. Going to do some tracing of the back
using the knitting needles Trace the spine first Other side of the spine And we're just offering appreciation to Beth's beautiful muscles,
upper trapezius Let's just trace that side to side And it's actually this big triangle,
so we can go ahead and trace that We can trace her scapula Thank it for its hard work Stabilizing the shoulder,
allowing movement of the arm holding a lot of different
muscles in place Thank you And the body is truly miraculous,
the more you learn about anatomy and physiology It's just so incredible how
all of these pieces work together to allow your body to do the
incredible things it does everyday And love the spine,
I keep coming back to it It's our lifeline It holds our central nervous system and many important blood vessels feeds nerves, arteries and veins
throughout the body Every organ innervates organs
and muscles and skin, fascia bones, which is so incredible Let's offer it thanks Now I'm just gonna trace hearts right above or right on top
of the heart chakra so that your heart continues
to be filled with love compassion for yourself,
first and foremost and then once your cup is full,
you can then go back and offer it to all the people around you wonderful souls that you touch everyday
in your work and in your home life We thank you for serving the community
and all that you do It's really incredible and we thank you Now just doing a bit of a
wavy pattern here as we conclude the massage Circles Gentle, gentle tracing Finally I'll place my hands on you Offering you gratitude for being here
with me today and with all the viewers watching Thank you for being a channel for them,
allowing them to enjoy this relaxation as well Thank you So grateful for you
