welcome to drop either jewelry take your dumb ideas and make even dumber drawing I'm Jacob I'm Nathan I'm Julia and guys today something new for ya stars they're just like us they're just like us except not when we draw them not gonna be anything like us we're doing a criminal sketch artist challenge yeah so here's how this is gonna work one of us has picked a celebrity yes we're gonna pass that image off to another one of us who will then describe it to the third person who's gonna try to draw it based only on the description of the facial features I think it's gonna go great and we're gonna see how close we get I think it's gonna be exact 100% representations Nathan's drawing first Julia you've picked a celeb for him correct and you're gonna pass that celeb over to me and I'm gonna describe it to Nathan awesome also probably at this juncture I'm gonna go ahead and put it up on the screen okay so everybody you guys watching at home can see who he's trying to play along who he's trying to do well yell at the screen tell Jacob how he should be describing it better I'm gonna start with like a head shape okay give me that shape so it's sort of ovular like a bit of a squat ovals not a long oh not a squat oval kind of like a lumpy egg this person is is balding mostly bald on top on top we got some hair on whispies some there is some wispy hair on the sides okay kind of long enough to touch the top of the the ears sort of unkempt it's a little kempt it looks like it was kind of maybe brushed brushed okay yeah is it George Costanza it's George Costanza my drawing George Costanza from got it in one from friends from drawing my favorite doctor on Scrubs George Costanza and there is like a bit of like comb-over whispies okay which which way is it the other way of course this looks like the bald man emoji right now yeah did you get the bald man emoji do they go all the way over it's kind of hard to tell they're crushed aback this is a famous person this is a famous person this person has rectangular glasses rounded rectangular glasses and then sort of a I don't know how to describe this nose it's just a nose man it's like a round nose okay like the the tip of it is a round tip of the nose yeah yeah so far so good it's George Costanza it is the stands and that's the problem miss tans it looks like you post this in your local subway yeah it's like don't let this man stand near you wanted this man he does he does a touch he does he does a bad just a bad touch on the crowded subway a crowded subway is no excuse for I wanted unwanted content from this man from this particular man eyebrows ah huh they're they're wild shit it fell off my lab threw a phone at me Oh gravity did the eyebrows uh-huh they're like bushy but sparse what and unkempt so they're kind of like all over the place so just like it looks like they were once bushy but now they're more wispy can I get an expression they're making he's he's making like a big like he looks like he's just started laughing like he's like so he's his eyes were kind of like squinted and his his he's got these bushy unkempt eyebrows and then his eyes are squinted and and laughter but they're still like open so you can see the eye uh-huh they're just like squinted uh-huh and they have many bags underneath this is an older gentleman it's old George Costanza now it looks like the bad touch man was stung by bees no he's he's just old and laughing he's just laughing he's have you seen a man who by way too many bees call the cops okay nine years huh they kind of go flatter against the head they stick out more at the top and then kind of flatten out towards the bottom but they're a they're little flatter towards the head and he's got more forehead oh no oh no his ears people come down to maybe the whole face lengthened a bit okay so so not quite a squad of an oblong or just actually make lower the eyebrows just lower the eyebrows a bit too high eyebrows are too high okay and get some more forehead up it's some more forehead maybe I'll just here's what I'll do oh yeah let's elevate that bang crank that thing up there how's that how's that look I see nothing wrong with this he has a beard but it's like an old man's beard mm-hmm you've draw the diabetes dude everything about him is a bit on Kemp but it's not like very long it's not like bushy it's not bushy bushy than your beer it's just unkempt it's just like a little imagine your beard like two weeks ago I've assigned you vacationing Santa like vacationing Santa yeah and as his mouth is open in a in a laughter Grande okay his oh god oh no I think we need to get the nose a little higher up hiring a coaster up in between the eyes okay and then his teeth are just the worst Oh No okay it was a huge gap in between the two front ones mm-hmm and then they're all just kind of yellow and scraggly but he's having a really good time in this photo okay he's having a having a blast having a ball who even is this man this is a tough one she didn't give you an easy one to guess um what's he can does look like Wilford Brimley it looks like it looks like a like a bad David Letterman he needs more chin he's more chin oh yeah yeah yeah I round out his face a bit more do you want to know the movie that he's probably most famous for sure Jurassic Park was it it's it's that guy it's spared no expense man it's spared no expense man it's richard attenborough himself wow it was a tough one to describe yeah the photo I gave Jacob is insane it's not helpful now I'm gonna show you the photo Nathan also so you can see the headline this is what julia handed look who doesn't need a body is a sketch artist it's a sketch artist okay here's the photo oh my god and the headline Sir Richard Attenborough dies at 90 oh it's like this isn't what is this why is this the photo they use I got pretty close yeah I mean based on the information I gave you you God yes so here he is Richard Attenborough a perfect represent a perfect a perfect representation nothing wrong with this at all nothing wrong with this at all okay I'm up next yeah all right so we're gonna start off with the head the head is a 3/4 view looking to the left see you're making it harder for me I have to do a specific pose it's actually be easier it's a fun pose is the thing okay so I think very importantly we should start off with the hair yeah give me some hair yeah long sideburns to about the bottom of the ears bottom of the year so this is the year yeah we got long sideburns yeah this man has a long face I should say that a long face the long face he walks into the bar and the bartender says is this loop on this loop on the third you're drawing loop on the third you know what I'm gonna go back to the face for a moment you never what do you can go back to the face Stern eyebrows how like what we got like thickness um regular thickness regular thickness Stern Stern eyebrows Stern eyebrows really that's random this way okay really straight triangular nose straight triangular nose yeah coming out from those eyebrows so like but not going past the cheeks not going past the cheese it kind of like like this yeah type of triangular yeah yeah I'm just really impressed with how well you guys are working together on this you do you're doing you're doing a real good job thank you thank you I don't have much to say during this part because I'm not describing or drawing so I just gotta chop shit I just thought I'd I thought I'd chime in and just encourage you guys cuz I'm having a good time yeah as usual I'm cartooning it up a bit that's just yeah that's good I would love to see a cartoon version of this image yeah so eyes very up in the eyebrows basically wide and looking up up in the eyebrows wide and looking up yeah okay so they're kind of like they're like up here yeah pretty big eyes I gotta say oh they're pretty big yeah they're pretty big up eyes okay okay so they're they're up there up in the eyebrows but they're pretty big yeah they're pretty big but they are but they're up there they're really nestled in those eyebrows and looking looking up yeah that's this yeah that's perfect oh yeah and he has one really big eye bag underneath one really distinct eye bag line one distinct eye bag line under which and it's very big under this under under yeah exactly but it but it like swoops back into you know it like follows the cheekbone basically oh I see so they're kind of like this yeah yeah perfect so his lips his lips are pretty full and he's got a little bit of a smirk Oh a little bit of a smirk and full lips yeah and it's good dead center between the nose and the chin dead center it's good it's got a good unison let's let's get like a smirk okay so Jacob make that mouth more dead center he has very shapely lips okay very shapely lips yeah yeah shape those lips so you said full lips yeah that's perfect oh yeah kind of a smirk and he has he has a slight you know those like parentheses lines by your mouth he he has one on on the smirk inside Oh on the smirking side so it kind of gonna come like this Julie you're doing such a good job thank you this is Jacob you're also doing a very good job thank you I don't know who this is at all yet know you will I'm ready for more okay so um I don't know if you want to add this in but he has like a pretty dark five o'clock shadow especially in the mustache line okay that's a little hard add in but I didn't know if you wanted to like 50% opacity or your brush and oh that's a good idea give it up I like that idea gotta give it a wide doing I'm gonna do what you said okay it's a very distinct beard line that kind of goes you know to the side of the mouth and up and follows along the bottom of the cheekbone and into that sideburn yeah except there's like a notch was it like darker here yeah there's like a notch in the beard so it like a notch where it I'm trying to figure it out I'm trying to figure out how to describe it so like if you go right to the middle of the eye and you follow it down there's a notch to the side of the mouth so that you get that distinct like mustache oh I understand then it goes into a beard so it's kind of like this yeah but the the mustache and the beard are still connected actually no that's good that's very good okay the most session the beard are connected or they're not uh vaguely you can leave it out so the hair oh boy the hair oh boy the hair we've been leaving this for last yeah cuz I felt like it would give it away there's a very distinct line of where the sideburns come up to the temple and then they make that little square that's by the Butte Ed's yeah yeah and then it goes up so then it it kind of swoops down very slightly just a smidge and then you get kind of a curly mullet wait it swoops down just just just just don't like it it's like a slight widow's peak by the way ever so slightly a widow's like a widow's how does a widow's peak swoop down it's like a rounded widow's peak I'm giving you like a neural shape as as I'm asking you like this this is what you mean no but more slight like this very slight no no go go from that line you have and just go directly to the left a little bit down and then swoop back a little bit like this yeah but make that the entire head all the way but all the way Oh like this yeah exactly there you go there you go now curly mullet curly mullet the whole hair is is just a perm the whole hair is a perm yeah but then it like you got a lot of excess in the back to make should be like this yes but more MORE no not not longer just more not longer just more not longer just more so kind of like out like this oh yeah but it doesn't it doesn't it doesn't hide behind that this cannot be contained it cannot be contained it is just a it is a wonderful cape of curly hair just really just really Brock Samson it out yeah looks like diehard Jerry Seinfeld what's the deal with ders I think we should try to get the rest of this pose in because this is right this is really Jacob this is really good head and put it to the top right corner and make it a smidge smaller put it to the top right corner of the canvas you're really making my editing gonna be a pain because I was gonna have a half and half with the face well Nathan requested a bob you're just gonna you're just gonna have to sort of make this one sort of come in alright in this in this sort of desert okay so it's gonna be worth it okay neck up you're gonna be so proud of your since rest you neck very short very short is it straight down it's straight down very short very short perfect so then that perfectly goes into a chest that is leaning diagonally from from if the neck base is the top right it goes to the bottom left and it's out like a mean angle so he's leaning back he's leaning backs was it like like this basically but you want a well you want to see that chest so give it more of a lead I figured it out oh you did such a good job - yeah okay and then his shoulder you can see his right shoulder our left pop in it just it just comes out of the chin a little bit and but it has a shirt on so yeah I mean his arm is like out so it just keeps going basically right because it's coming out like this yeah yeah you know who it is he's wearing a shirt right or you know he's not wearing he's partially wearing a shirt wearing a button-up shirt that's very oh so like his collar is lying on his collarbone and then like covers one PEC enough that one nipple is censored then it goes back around his abs so that you can see his wonderful abs and ribs yeah well I'm not getting down that far but yeah and then the other shirt like the collar just sweeps around the corner and pops in a little bit and then goes straight down sweet like this given more of a curve towards the left like this meaner now you've said meaner to me a meaner a meter curve like this smaller smaller and tighter but smaller tighter like this even closer to the back yeah good enough it's gonna have to be yeah it's just gonna have to be it's just gonna have to be but I think I think that's good except I do want to add one thing which is that he has on his his right our left eyebrow he has one line that's kind of going up into his forehead I like this no the other one like this yeah there you go perfect kind of like that oh I think we've got all the big points he's got on I mean the only thing you might want to add is that he has that that little divot above the the lip and it's pretty distinct yeah yeah yeah and then and then just start just darken that hair yeah yeah you know in the hair you know who that is I know who this is you guys did such a good job holy shit this is our this is our boy Jeff Goldblum yeah Jeffery Goldblum oh my god this is incredible I'm so proud of guys I I can't believe how well it came out yeah yeah Jacob you crushed it I mean it was the mullet hair that really yeah yeah sold it for me it started there cuz I felt like we had to get the sideburns in but like getting the hair too soon who'd give the game away but like you got that fit you got the perfect cartoon of that face like I wouldn't have been able to draw or describe that face as well as you guys did maybe whenever I have to cartoon a celebrity I'll just have you describe it to me without me knowing who it is yeah it's this is such a cool challenge because it really shows like how how like analytic Julia you are wouldn't like breaking down faces I do a lot of measuring when I draw celebrities on my spare time so I think I go from there I'm gonna do such a bad job describing to you I could have definitely been more descriptive before you my gosh I feel Wow well this is this is the benchmark to hit holy shit way to go guys okay Julia are you ready to hop in huh Nathan I'm gonna go ahead and hand this over to you okay yeah I'm not gonna look we're doing I think we're gonna do another round of this because we've done all dudes this time okay okay I think next time it should be an all ladies all ladies okay it I think I think probably what happened is we we didn't want to mess up some nice ladies faces but dudes faces fuck yeah I don't care but isn't seeing how good we did yeah now we know how we know I know we need to ruin that it'll be oh boy okay your friend and mine whoo all right I've got to do some describing okay so we're just gonna there's no pose we're just getting the face okay so it's um I think a long face a long face a long face that is it looking in any direction just right at us right at Eric right into our souls okay and and yeah I think just uh it gets it gets skinny towards the bottom sort of big at the top skinny towards the bottom but then but then there's like a nice long bit in the middle yeah that's good yeah see a drill what is this sort of okay where do you want to where do you want to start should we do should we do uh follow your heart Nathan let's start with these uh let's start with this nose okay it's a it's a square nose square nose big it's just there's a there's a wide brim on this nose wide brim on this brim the right word rims are on hats okay there's it's just it's just sort of a thick nose but it doesn't like get super wide at the bottom it's just sort of thick all the way down and then you've got like a cute little bump where's the bump at like the at like the front bit of the tip the tip of the nose is like a little bump and then just just little little nostrils these lips I think a little bit closer to the nose than to the bottom of the chin okay and full full lips and just sort of in this I don't know how to describe this expression it's it's like he's trying to smile but he doesn't quite know how I feel bad because I like this act but he does have you given me like the most uncanny village Jacob yeah that's how I like to do it and yeah it's like it's like they're going up but then you got a you've got to sort of you've got to bend the middle part more like Beckham it's like it's really sort of like like a like a Reap shape oh I'm doing such a bad job he doesn't have that meaner he doesn't have it's it's a very it's a very smooth lip but it's doing like a little it's doing like a little dip like the like this side like from the from sides of the lips it's it's like a little downward it's like a little downward guy but then the the very edges sort of sort of no the other way he's not I guess upward yeah but but the full but the whole mouth yeah and then the and then the the very edges they just ever so slightly dip back down yeah and then just um real yeah real big yeah that dip that dip in the middle there real it goes real low so it real hot yeah yeah really yeah Julia yes okay we're getting there okay and then we've got a very distinctive that area sort of up between the lips and the chin like that that's deep yeah that's very distinctive it's a little bit I'd say yeah get those lips up closer towards the nose and then yeah there's a decent amount of space between the lips and the and the chin and then you can you can tell that the chin is sort of sticking out except it's not it's not as well-defined as that it's a little bit softer it's a little bit softer there sure it's it's a little it's a little wider a little wider it's a little wider that bottom bit dolph lundgren what's going on a tiny little bit of stubble right above the top lip just that just the tiniest little bit of stubble there are you having me draw baby kind of you know babies with their tiny little bits of stubble and then very very defined cheeks like the right next to the the nose those little those little lines like he's got the proles yeah he's got the full parentheses lines but they're most defined right by the nose and they but they do extend lightly all the way down to the edge of the lips I do not like this visit I think I love seeing our different methods so much so clinic I think you can bring the I think it's more of a gradual slope the sides of the jaw I think you can make that and more of a just more of a slope II round it out a little bit uh no bring it like bring it in yeah Brown did but yeah but in but like tighter you know yeah that's good and then however you want to define it the cheek bones are our visit like they're they're not sunken it's it's very smooth he's got a very smooth face but yeah you're gonna want to just like let us know that those cheekbones are there and then little intense eyes so the beady eyes they're very little honestly yeah yeah but but that I no no keep it keep keep the eyes with the eyebrows thick and wispy like they kind of like yours yeah they they take up a lot of of surface area but they're very but they're very like light yeah maybe not even that not not that they're more kempt it's just like there's the hair is thin okay hair is thin but it but it takes up a lot of surface area okay and we do have I'll let I'll let you do I'm I'm getting ahead of myself it's the shape of the eyebrows just just sort of regular just sort of blobby but just sort of like I don't know house - yeah just sort of like no yeah but like a little a lot of surface area a lot of certain like the least surface yeah yeah okay just sort of like little hot dogs hot dogs we got to get those eyes back in there yeah just tiny enhance eyes it's like it's it's like you think he should be squinting but he's not squinting those are just how his eyes look yeah this is good this is really good this is good Julia's honestly really good I don't know how cuz it's it's like a lot of it has to do with just the lighting and the shading so like okay but if there's any way you can just define the strength of these cheekbones anymore the strength of them they're just they're just very he's got very distinctive cheekbones yeah do you have any idea who this is yet yeah okay so now we're gonna sort on sword on so you're not gonna want to for the hair yeah um you're not gonna want to go in at all on this fart that far head is perfect okay hair is just sort of around okay how about hit me with some ears ears a pretty pretty small just sort of regular they're they're sort of angular ears yeah like you yeah except the the lobe the lobe just goes in it doesn't dangle at all so just you just sort of come straight in yeah yeah like that I feel like the face is longer the face is longer I feel like you could take the whole thing and just go Orient I think you could go bamp and then you could take you could take all of the feature yeah go like that and then I think take take the the entire like lips to eyes yeah and then just shrink it a little lips to eyes so shorten the nose Oh take it all take the whole you get all the whole face and just shrink it inside of this big head that this man has okay no no no no you - no that's not what we want you know yeah yeah perfect very good okay hair yeah sort of like a like a like a quaff it's um it's sort of what insides to you do they go straight up or do they follow the curve of the head okay so we've got like that you've got the the the side bits the it does sort of have that that square thing you described the the burns don't go down they go down to like halfway through the ear okay and then just real real skin skinny there and then a very subtle in and then it's really just a bagel a big ol forehead and it goes all the way up and then sort of like do the sides go straight up like there they go straight up and then they kind of come out as like the hair gets longer towards the angle outwards angle outwards okay and then kind of like a like a volcano of hair coming up from the from the center top of the of the forehead is that it's like it's almost remember what the hair looks it's all just sort of coming up at the top right yeah there's a bit of a widow's peak going on no that'll no no the hair is the lava if the hair is the lava coming out of the vault so it's like a bit of a widow's peak it's not like yeah it's coming up out of that middle it's like a fat widow's peak like it's got the two sort of sides dude that's in the conjuring no no no okay so yeah so like the the two the two sides of the widow's peak um they're like further like I can't list the middle is thicker the middle part like it goes down and then there's like a straight line and then it goes back up it's like peaking on the edge and again we're gonna want that this for the top of this head to just be wider like you're trying to make it make sense and like yeah select these two you've got like two sort of distinctive lumps of skin coming up on either side and yeah and I think you can buy Janus no not that high not that high but I think you can yeah like that and then I think you can dip the middle part down a little bit more and then like all the hair is sort of coming up like a like a fountain no that's Jimmy Neutron Jimmy Neutron it's it's a haircut look at my hair like on the sides yeah and then imagine that I just had more of a widow's peak and it's like pushed up and kind of flopping it okay I know Thank You Jacob I'm not good at this I realize I think you've done a good job that's pretty good I'm just like noticing a few details okay the mouth it's just like very awkwardly slightly open okay and then again that bottom lip is nice nice and big yeah skin looks so tight it's so tight on his face his my like best thing to tell you would be just like take the eyes and drift them further apart until you know who this is yeah interesting yeah I think I think you can you could like shade there there's there's a distinct amount of shadow there's a there's a brow he's got a brow huh yeah I think there's like shade underneath you did it oh my god these eyes apart until you know there you go there is such a tough man to describe yeah that was why I picked him nose is not quite as thick and it is a little bit longer yeah yeah it's a it's tough it's tough that was a tough one but I think you got like really close I got pretty close I think you showed me if this is any actor who is it I would say Benedict Cumberbatch okay yeah you did a good job drawing the thing I described I didn't do a very good job describing my face is like indescribable it breaks a lot of the rules yeah it's it's hard what should do like he technically has eyebrows but not really yeah that's what yeah there it's the end they they're they cover a lot of surface area yeah and then his cheekbones they're so they're so big but you also can't see them with lines it really is like the two fixes to make this Benedict Cumberbatch are like I'll bring this guy in a little bit uh-huh this guy in a little bit Julie's gonna turn them into Benedict Cumberbatch and then and take this two-bit just rip it off no it's like sure that's that's a little more him it's just like a little too long that distance between the eyes and the yeah there's a lot of room on face space he's got a lot of space you got the mouth perfect though yeah thank you when you drew those lips the way you did I was so happy that's a very confusing mouth um guys I think we all did a great job yeah Nathan I'm sorry I didn't describe to you better but in the next one I will know I you did I think what we learned is Julia is the best at describing faces yes I'm gonna take from Julia's style yeah and be a little more exacting with my descriptions but this was a lot of fun I think
