if you ever feel like your drawing looks great until you color it here's a quick tip on how to pick a color palette that's going to look really nice and harmonious kind of no matter what you do with it the trick i most often use is i take a warm and a cool color and i keep them relatively desaturated and this will be my main palette and then i take a very strong color something very bright and saturated and i use that as a special pop-out accent color so using only this top part of the palette i colored almost everything and then i'm going to apply my really bright color into a few key areas so that it pops out and looks interesting if you want your accent color to pop out even more you can put a overlay shadow over the entire foreground and carefully erase that shadow off of the accent color that'll make it look super bright playing around with different accent colors can create all kinds of interesting effects so definitely have fun with it
