ARE THESE SKATEBOARDS BACK IN STYLE AGAIN?!?

my name's aaron cairo i'm a sponsored skateboarder from the san francisco bay area and today i have a question are these boards back in style right now because i feel like these old-school shaped boards are coming back i even almost feel a little bad calling it an old-school board so when i first learned how to skateboard this was my first board and i'm pretty sure that i have the arrows a little bit mixed up here i thought it was really funny to throw in the smallest wheels we ever had onto this old school board because i just think that looks so sick but i think this board if i had to pick like an era i think this board is sort of 80s and i think they're small wheels i don't think they were ever really this small but i think the small wheels are sort of early 90s maybe like 1993 in that era if anybody knows exactly leave it in the comments below i'd love to hear your opinions and then we have sort of the skateboard that i've been skating which is just your standard popsicle stick board so you guys can kind of see the differences between these this one is a shaped board and it meaning it has like a very distinct different shape and this one is just your standard regular popsicle stick check out the difference between that really interesting and then check out the difference between these wheels so these wheels here these are 52 millimeters and i don't even know what millimeters these are i think there's many things i think if you're a brand new skater learning how to skate it's got really nice width i wonder if this helped my skateboard in growing up i didn't know any difference i just went to the it was actually called the ski shop and they sold skateboards there and it was in montana and i got myself one of these boards it was also a dog town dogtown skateboard sent me this and i think it was super rad and my first board was also a karma board shout out karma so sick so you have a nice wide shape you have the pointed nose and then you have this really broad wide tail and you know i feel like that could help you you know if you're a brand new skater and you're learning tricks you're doing push then you have a lot of surface area you have a lot of surface area in here compared to this popsicle stick board so yeah maybe i'll do a couple tricks on this and i'll do a couple tricks on this we'll check the difference and then we're going to roll through woodward west and see everybody who can do any trick before you start for a beginner skateboard who doesn't really know what in style is what does that mean to a skater that's a good question i guess it just means like it's the thing that is cool i don't know how to describe that exactly it's the thing that people are using at that point in time which is like rad like i feel like a few years ago this was not seen as much and now you see these all over the place and i think it's really cool i think it's really awesome i love the different trends of skateboarding and i just love to see the different styles and the like baggy pants are coming back and i'm like i gotta get my baggy pants i gotta get the baggiest pants of the baggiest pants i'm gonna be making a video about that later but uh yeah so that's what it means so let's go through the park and let's see who wants to skate this board see if they got any tricks okay before i go into the the hounds of kids i gotta just do one kickflip on this and one kick up on this and see the difference that's what i'm talking about old school life okay who's got a trick what trick you got kick flip any trick oh boy [Applause]
