Hi Everyone, Welcome to Terra Spatial. Today I'm going to show you how to generate DEM & Contour map using Google Earth from where are going to Export it as Raster & Contour using the software ArcGIS So, First of all we need to create a path that is a line, you can select option from Google Earth. Add Path So in which we going to add path, name it as point DEM and Contour. After that keep it aside & just the button R so that you will be getting perfect lat & long from the selected area. So, after that draw a line Covering the entire study area or the region which you require to get the Elevation data. Like this (shown on display) It may be in any pattern showing as example The more you draw, more accurate data will be getting for your analysis through which will be generating DEM Map and Contour Maps. So, after doing it just drag tabular and Save it. Just give OK Click it go to Option --> Save Place as name it If want to change the name, change it here & Select KML File Format Save it. So, next step is that convert it to GPX file Format Open Chrome browser or any browser Type --> GPS Visualizer. Select the first option and click it. From there you see lot of options available that is Conversion Profiles and KML Overlays
